This hotel has false advertising I had a horrible stay! the pictures on their website is nothing like the rooms they give you. No internet no complimentary breakfast no pool broken iron board no phone ☎️ service in the room. The boarder on the wall was falling apart, the hotel has a smelly odor, rust on toilet 🚽 and shower 🚿 the pictures on wall dusty, they charged my debit card 💳 before I arrived at the hotel and still allowed me to pay them in cash 💵 refused to refund my cash once I noticed what they did. Please do not stay at sleep inn 🏨 you will be very disappointed not good enough for a dog.

This place is disgusting. They gave a dirty room and then when we told them it was dirty they said they didn’t have any rooms and gave gloves to clean it. Whole staff is trash. All super disgusting people who don’t care either.

Nasty rooms, bugs all over, worst hotel to go to.

Hotel is beyond nasty it's smoked out completely and they try to cover it up with cheap cologne… I left didn't even complete my stay and was charged a smoking fee when I'm a non smoker! Angela at the front desk was rude the moment I walked in and when I confronted her she called the cops and lied to the officers saying it's a standard smoking fee that all guests are charged… how in a hotel that has signs stating they're smoke free!

The parties that was going on, hallways reeked of weed and fighting. Not to mention the underage drinking… this place shud be called the Ghetto Inn.

The hotel smelled like smoke everyday I was there and the employees told me that they cannot do anything about it. Then when I canceled my next weeks stay they charged me for a day when I did not check in telling me I was obligated to pay for that day. The stay was already prepaid and they now have charged me for an aditional stay when I never even checked in. I have been calling and asking to speak with the hotel manager OR owner and everyday I get the same answers I will pass along your number and they will call you back if they want to. THIS PLACE IS FULL OF STAFF MEMBERS WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING and the owner seems to either not be in the loop or they them selfs do not care either.

We stayed here for the night went to a funeral in summerton sc. Love the room bed was comfortable and peaceful.

Most of my visits at the Sleep Inn in Sumter, SC have been pretty good. Last weekend however has really made me question if I will stay with them again. I went into the bathroom and there were urine stains on the seat and a soap bar with shampoo still in the shower. This made me question as to the cleanliness of the whole room. The on duty manager switched my room but the TV in that room was not working so I moved for a third time. If you intend on staying in this hotel please do a walkthrough before you start getting settled for the night.

This place has the worst customer service. The desk clerk was rude. Top it all off the hotel is disgusting. This is not a choice for anyone to stay in. Would have been better off sleeping in the car. Desk staff should be fired and the hotel should be demolished.

Terrible terrible hotel. They have bedbugs and upon reporting it they only offered to relocate my mother to another room and refused to refund her even though check in time has just passed.

The hotel was stylish and well maintained, also close to everything. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hotel staff was excellent. Will be back in the future.

Place is pretty nice. Good breakfast. Sausage, eggs, and waffles… definately older but not bad for the price!

Staff was pleasant, but the condition of our room and common areas leaves much to be desired. There were stains all over the carpets, our daughters’ footed pajamas were filthy from less than an hour in the room. There were also stains on the bedding and curtains. Room had an extremely musty smell, probably due to the leaky air conditioner. There was bubbled paint and mold around the air conditioner. The latch on the door was extremely loose, offering no additional security at all. We also noticed an incomplete light fixture inside the shower.

Took my kids for a pool swim and the room they gave us smelled like mildew. I'm pretty sure mold was in that room because I got the worst headache everytime I enter the room. Fresh air was the only thing that made it go away.

I've just had the worse customer service experience ever. I'll be contacting corporate, local news, posting on all social media. NEVER EVER stay in this hotel. There's practically no management, no respect, no help. I have multiple witnesses of the customer service I recieved, specifically from the desk clerk Portia. Tyler working the day shift lied to me about solving my issues at hand told me he would have a resolve and contact me but never did. No manager absolutely nobody with management qualification will even speak to me. I did not raise my voice or lose character and was hung up on while explaining I was charged for something twice. They locked 1 of my employees belongings in his room and refused to let him in after an error on their part entering my card expiration date. I've been charged 2 deposits and rate stays. Stay away from Sleep-Inn in Sumter South Carolina, I'll be watching my account for their transactions because the charges already are $187 higher than they should be.

$176.00 a night to sleep in a dirty room and have no towels so I could shower. Two tries to get my keys right. Open drug deal out front. The bed was the only clean thing in the room. Had another room been available in that town, I would have checked out. Management has still not called me back. Never again! Don’t recommend this place! One star because I have to give one to review!

It's ok. My toilet seat is broken, so I feel like I'm going to fall off the toilet every time I wipe. Also the only way to turn in the shower water is to close the door because the controls are behind the door. Nothing like a splash of ice cold water to wake you up.

Service was polite and helpful but my 3rd floor room door was misaligned and very hard to close, rain was leaking into the room and falling on the AC unit. The bathroom design was strange. Towels just placed in the cabinet as if no one cared. Some unfolded. The sink is over carpet in the main room.

This place gets a double zero from me. Two separate stays which left me disgusted each time. They have to keep their prices low or else they wouldn't be in business u can tell by reading the real reviews. If check out is at 11 am why is the maid knocking on doors at 10 am? If it wasn't for the latch she would've came right in. Then comes bck at 1030. Like really? Can I get dress? Shower something then goes to grab the manager who decides to ask if I was staying another night if check out is at 10 am or if you want your guest out n downstairs by 11 am post a sign up have your employees say this at check in while they running through their spill. And you charge a deposit for what? This place is filthy this hotel is at the bottom of the barrel for sleep inns. Carpet hasn't been vacuumed in months must be and this goes for the room and in the hallway. Choose carefully when thinking of staying here.

We always stay at this hotel, when we travel to Sumter. The location is perfect and there is a lot of places to go and to eat out. It's clean, the room is nice and comfortable, and the staff is nice.

This place is Sister hotels with Comfort Suites right in the same parking lot. Comfort Suites has bed bugs and my husband got bit up so I'm pretty sure this one has bed bugs as well plus the cleaning staff steals a whole lot. My husband stays here for weeks for his job since he does construction and every time he leaves something valuable in the room it gets stolen there's no use in talking to management because they can't prove it please do not stay here!

Not worth the price. As these pictures will show. The staff was nice and accommodating. But the rooms left more to be desired. Blood stains on the sheets. Trash around property. Pool area needs work.

I travel for a living and I stay in a lot of hotels. This place is a decent hotel. Every time I check in there's problems. It usually takes me 45+Min to check in. From credit card to booking issues. There's always something. And the $84 incendital charge is absolutely absurd. I understand the purpose, but most hotels are $20.

The rooms were barely clean check in is at 3 o'clock but apparently the room wasn't even ready was given the room keys anyways. Came back 30 min later room still wasn't ready came into the room and house keeping clearly hadn't cleaned the shower it was disgusting. Mirror was dirty, shower door was dirty, toilet ran constantly. Beds sleep ok. Furniture needs to be painted and the bathroom needs tending to. House keeping does not do a good job of cleaning. They probably don't even change the sheets often.

It sucks bringing your own cleaning supplies but it's necessary staff was adorably friendly shower lovely bed comfortable rooms just need a good cleaning and socket covers open hanging off wall sprinkler has no seal around it just a hole. In ceiling but I still love my sleep inns I have to stay for. Business.

I stayed two nights. Rooms were good except for the terrible pillows. My only real issue is breakfast was basically sold out for us and most people when I was there. They didn’t keep up with the food or neatness in the dining area. We had to leave and eat elsewhere. Wi-Fi was in and out. Location in Sumter, SC is good access to eating out and shopping.

I chose the hotel somewhat for location. Had to clean the toilet seat as it was dusty from what it looked like construction residue. The carpet was wet/humid. Bed didn't look like it was changed from previous guest, or at least had some marks. I was grossed enough. Didn't want to touch the towels. Put a shirt over the pillow and was like it's super late f it I'll stay and survive. Breakfast was ok. Maybe nothing wrong with it, but didn't wanna touch the egg or rest of the prepped food. Yea I'm not recommending this place to anyone…

Hotel is disgusting! Carpets are so bad and the room had roaches and pubic hair in the bed! I would not stay here! Hotel is under Reno but only thing they have done is put fake hard wood in the lobby! Don't waste your time or money on this place!

My experience was great, comfortable bed, breakfast was ok just need some seasoning. We came into town for my father unfortunately​ untimely death. But the customer service by the front desk staff was excellent, especially Nicole. She made us feel comfortable and at home during this grieving time. Housekeeping service was excellent as well. If I'm ever in Sumter again I will recommend this hotel hands down.

Beautiful, friendly staff. But, unfortunately this place is a run down… they said they were in the middle of renovations. Rooms are dusty and unclean. Beds breaking in, room lights doesn’t work. All rooms have a mildew smell… pool wasn’t clean a Ugh they could do so much better with everything. But customer service is great. Building/rooms suck.

Disgusting. Stayed there this past weekend room smelled like mildew. I told the front desk they indicated to me that they had no more rooms. Didn't even spend the night that's how filthy the place was and obviously their team lead is trash next I check out explaining all the details basically just brushs off the problem to the gm he's never there I've never received a follow up phone call they're basically there just to generate revenue and do their job properly.

This place was disgusting. The entire cleaning crew needs to be fired. My family and I stayed here due to us having to evacuate Florida from hurricane Irma. Pissed up covers on the bed. Popcorn and pistachio nuts littered over the floor with housekeeping in the hallways arguing and cursing loud about management telling them they need to clean the rooms better. When my husband asked for the floor to be vacuum a housekeeper came in with a hand held vacuum and still didn't get it up but told my husband "its only paint". Dust was everywhere! Sunflower seed shells were in the night stand with a dirty spoon. My godfather got the room down the hall. The entire room was filthy. Management moved him to another room same problem. If u have no other choice to stay here I would suggest bringing your own cleaning products and bedding. I will never rent from or suggest anyone rent from this filthy place.

We stayed last weekend on our way to Charleston. On the way home we realized we had left something very valuable to our son I'm the room. We called and Nicole ran upstairs to check. Sure enough it was still there, praise God. She offered to ship it to our home so we didn't have to come 2 hours back out of our way. Not only did she have it shipped but put me at ease when I called back the next day to see of it had been shipped yet. Ups called within 20 minutes of that call with the item in hand. It arrived Thursday with a cute picture on the box and well wishes that it was again safe at home. Thank God for people like Nicole. She could have just brushed it off and said it was gone but instead went out of her way to make sure things went well. Thank you Nicole.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and hotel in general need a major update. Paint chipping everywhere, beds are lumpy and uncomfortable, carpet is so dirty it turned my feet black, and room curtains are very ripped. The parking lot is lit like a stadium at night and it floods the room of light all night long. Main areas of the hotel are very hot and humid. Breakfast was good, bread, pastries, eggs, and sausage are the main items. I don't know if I would stay at this particular location again, but I would try another Sleep Inn location.

Hotel was decent, rooms weere clean, breakfast was exceptional. Staff was great. I would stay again if in the area. Housekeeping comes in after one knock or no knock so be sure to put three latch on the door. Pool was dirty filled with bugs and leaves, I cleaned it myself the first day because my kids really wanted to swim. By the 3rd day water was green.

The room was fine — clean enough, comfy enough. Good for the price point. Main weird thing was there were two guys sleeping in the hall near the elevator in the morning. Maybe they were legit hotel guests who had a snoring roommate or something — I don't know. It was just uncomfortable walking past them.

It was good. The staff very nice. But the pool needs cleaning.

This was the worst hotel ever. The front desk person tried… just plan old clean sheet joint. The bathroom floor was even greasy. The hotel smells like they don't keep ot clean. Rooms just not maintained at all. This is the kind of place where "you get what you pay for" spend the extra 20 and stay next door at the Comfort Suites.

They billed me 3 times for a night stay. Also toilet stopped working in middle of night. When we came to the hotel no one was at the front desk. Housekeeping told us to come back after 3. Once back the front desk clerk was all over the place. After running 3 of my cards stating it wouldn't go through when all she had to do was verify I had a card. Room was previously paid for through different site. Then got an attitude when asked what happen. Will never in life stay there again.

More amenities than I thought I would get for the price is the biggest thing. Fridge, microwave, and large TV. Clean bed, large bathroom. So far all of the service has been great. I'd definitely stay here again no question.

Great location. Good service. Handicap room, but not fully work for all handicap people. Full size bed was too small for me & my husband. People who stay above us were moving & walking all nite long, non-stop… Nice breakfast.

Not worth the price. One month its like 65 dollars next month 140 wtf? House keeper even admit to not changing the sheets on the beds in order to get rooms done quickly;when I stayed. There was a Funny smell in the room but the rooms and bathrooms are pretty. Still not worth no more than 80.00, and they want to place a hold on your for the deposit which you can not get back until a couple days.

I was put in a handicap room. It really was not a handicap room not to mention the bed was hard but I will give them credit they did have good customer service.

It's not a bad place to crash in a pinch.

Had to go to the emergency room from the chemical levels in the indoor pool being to high. Also the outdoor pool is never clean either, even after the guy says he cleaned the pool, it still had bugs and leaves everywhere in it. He said its because the wind kept blowing them into the pool… yet there was no wind all day?
