Loved our stay at Swamp Rabbit Inn, so cute and very close to downtown Greenville & the Swamp Rabbit trail. Talked with Pam prior to our stay on the phone and in person while there, had no issues or problems & she was very helpful, nice/personable to my husband & I. Room/bathroom were a nice size, very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed including quality shampoo, conditioner & body wash and plenty of clean towels. They also offered a complimentary serve yourself style “on the go” type breakfast with plenty of choices. Would definitely recommend this place as long as it is available, as there are many brand new apartments/condos going up in the area due to its prime location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Swamp Rabbit Inn. The house was very clean, no issues, and the owner was extremely nice. We will definitely return and look forward to staying again.

Mouse on Main! Not that one! We stayed in the the main house in TR in March of 2021. Upon arrival we felt the house was very, very clean. Lots of towels in each bathroom. The first night we were in the kitchen and a mouse came out from under the frig. It ran around for about a half hour. Upon inspection, we found droppings in the stove drawer, under the kitchen sink and in the laundry closet. The manager said she would refund us $100. We have not received that refund. Third night one of bedroom door locks batteries were low and made a clicking sound all night. Fourth night the fire alarm battery was low and began to chime at 3am and through the night. The grounds have not been kept. Lots of weeds and over grown. The house is beautiful but it needs some love. The bed in Magnolia was very loud when we made any movement. More importantly the communication with the manager was terrible. There was an issue with my deposit and she was impossible to speak to. I called a few times and she blew me off every time. Claiming she was driving, eating, coming from a meeting, not in front of her computer… Also no food in the frig and little stock in one pantry closet. No real food provided as advertised. The idea of this place is great. A kitchen, bathrooms, a porch to spend time on. I wanted to love it. But just too many issues.

Swamp Rabbit Inn is a great place to stay while visiting Greenville or even if passing through! Very clean and accommodating! We stayed twice one night on our way to Florida and two nights on our return north. Highly recommend Swamp Rabbit Inn! Loved the decor felt as if we were in Europe!

May I state that I’m a senior citizen with health issues. I was truly dubious about coming to the Swamp Rabbit! Your place surpassed expectations and got along beautifully! Thank you for living up to your resumé and can envision coming again!

I’m incredibly disappointed in my dealings with the Swamp Rabbit Inn, Traveler’s Rest, South Carolina and “0” Stars is a more appropriate rating. Pam, the owner, is completely non-communicative. I booked and paid for “The Queen’s Studio” a month in advance as a gift for my daughter’s 25th birthday. When my daughter and her husband arrived at the Inn (40 minutes away from their home) the pin-code given on the confirmation paperwork did not work to open the door. There was no staff on site, so my daughter tried to call the phone number for the manager, but the voice mailbox was full. Then she emailed the manager and got no response. I came all the way from California to give my daughter and her husband this special night away from their two small children (and it’s just two month’s before the birth of their 3rd little one) and there was “No Room at the Inn”, or at least no door that would open. I called Booking. Com, through which I ordered and paid for the room and they were able to reach Pam, the owner, who somehow lost track of my paid booking and neglected to prepare the room I reserved. The agent at Booking. Com gave me Pam’s personal number, and told me Pam was sorry for the mix-up, but she would accommodate my daughter and her husband at their Downtown Greenville Swamp Rabbit Inn (another 45 minute drive).

Loved staying in the studio—very clean and cute, all amenities for a very affordable price. Will definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay in Travelers Rest. Quaint and cozy. If your a cyclist it's really a great place to stay as the Swamp Rabbit Trail is across the street. TR is also a great place to explore on bike. The owner Wendy is very attentive to your needs and wants to make sure you have a wonderful stay. I'll be back to stay at either the TR location or the Greenville locations.

We loved our stay in Greenville at the Swamp Rabbit Inn. The house was very charming, clean, quiet and an outstanding location. Within a 5 minute walk to great bars and restaurants like, Husk and VERY close to an access point to the Swamp Rabbit trail. The large kitchen at the inn was fully stocked for breakfast. The porch and back decks were nice to be able to hang out on in the evening. My only piece of advice would be to make sure you book your bike rental in advance because there are limited rentals on site or bring your own from home. However, there are other bike rental shops within walking distance. Great place to stay and we look forward to returning!

Loved this inn! The location is great, easy walk to restaurants and shops yet set back enough from road to feel like you are in the middle of the woods. I stayed in the suite, which would be perfect for an extended stay. It has a nice sitting area with loveseat and chair. The TV can be moved so you can see from either the bed or sitting area. There is a tidy kitchenette for quick meals. Bathroom has great shower/tub combo. Added bonus to room for longer stays is washer/dryer. Excellent room layout with sitting area/ bathroom set against shared wall with neighboring room. My neighbors had a dog with them that I never once heard while in my room so sound proofing must be great. Loved how there was a private entrance to the room and nice deck with table and chairs. Property had a really nice pool area with lounge chairs and a gazebo. Being a solo traveler felt very safe at the property!
Would be great if there was a bottle of water provided in fridge for arrival since only other sink is the bathroom sink. That way guests don’t have to rush right out to get water. Would also be helpful if there was a quick facility overview printed in room. Wasn’t sure if guests in suites outside were allowed to go to main building etc. There was a link to more info in emails but the link was broken and I was having cell issues. Not the inn’s fault just would helpful.

Sweet place to spend a night and I wished I had more time. We will definitely be back. The property is so well put together and check in, etc. Was super easy. Definitely recommend!

I've stayed at Swamp Rabbit Inn twice now and will only ever stay here when I visit Greenville. I love the vibe, how conveniently located it is and all the perks of not being in a hotel. Each visit I met people who were visiting South Carolina from all over the country. The communal spaces were clean & it was really nice to be able to fix my own breakfast before heading out on my way. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Old man is grumpy and racist. No wonder no other bike shop in town recommended him. Both times we went he was unwilling to help me and my family, the second time he maintained a personal conversation with a friend while eyeing waiting to talk about purchacing a bike. Never going back. Never recommending him. Money is money shouldn't matter if it's coming from a POC.

Cool atmosphere, great patio space. I’d highly recommend for a group of friends to rent out the house for a trip to lovely Greenville.

This place is awesome, everything you need to have a great say, very very clean. Truly has a homey feel and vibe to it. AJ will go out of her way to make you feel at home. So If you are coming to Greenville, for a night or for a week. No matter if it is for business or pleasure, the Swamp Rabbit Inn is a must stay.

Besides the fact that this place is cute as a button and totally comfortable, the owner and staff make it even better with their genuine, Southern hospitality. They go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need and enjoy your stay. It's like staying with an old friend. I highly recommend the Swamp Rabbit Inn for an individual, couple, or even a group.
