Very friendly happy nice place to stay in the heart of downtown Greenville that’s convenient to so many restaurants!

It’s been an amazing stay Joel was wonderful went above and beyond he made the stay memorable and my wife and I will certainly be back!

Stayed here many times and always a great experience. Dog friendly, kid friendly, great pool on the 6th floor overlooking the city! Awesome staff! Highly recommend!

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Greenville. We were upgraded to a corner suite for our quick stay and loved every minute of it. When our plans involve an overnight in Greenville again we'll make sure to stay here again!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn’t even want to leave out of hotel after we went to the bar and lounge. Staff was wonderful and so were the beds. Super dog friendly and seeing how they try and get pups adopted out is awesome. Definitely will be back.

We loved how dog friendly this place is and the room was great. Rooms have very modern decor. Great view of the downtown. The staff was really friendly and accommodating and we think it was the best location in town.

Staff was amazing and awesome! This was my first stay here and it was such a cool place. And the views at night from our room were breathtaking! It’s a very cool modern place to stay. And you can have your dog too. That’s definitely a bonus for me!

I absolutely love staying here! Maggie the bartender makes really great drinks, everyone at the front desk is very nice and welcoming! I love to pet and play with the foster dogs and the breakfast bowls are delicious! It’s also very convenient to great restaurants and bars.

I arrived at Aloft Downtown Greenville to decorate a hotel room for a guest. The front desk attendant was very nice. He had my key ready and verified my identity. It was an ease unloading and the room was very nice! My client was extremely happy!

I decided to rent a room because my daughter had Prom downtown this past weekend! The hotel staff was super friendly, especially Priscilla! The space itself had a great vibe! I would definitely stay there again!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There is mold on most on the ceilings of hotel room in addition most doors don’t close all the way plus there’s mold in and on a/c units.

Great location, so close to many restaurants and shopping. Nicely appointed rooms with everything you need. Awesome place to stay with your dog.

Hands down best hotel experience ever. Great and super friendly staff. Great bar with a lively atmosphere. Room is pristine and guest services items can be ordered right from your phone. Clean, efficient, and plenty to do!

I am not a fan of the ALoft hotels and this one is no exception. Some call it Millennial modern… I call it European minimal. It’s got a cold Russian jail cell feel… basic everything, from the furniture and deco to linens. The ice machine in the hallway is a mini glass front freezer with sandwich size zip lock baggies of ice. Someone had to physically put the ice in these baggies and then, stack them ever so perfectly in this freezer. Does ever floor get this special treat or does all the floors share this one. Cheap, much?!? As far as the lobby, loud music is playing, sorta a club vibe with pet themed deco which is not horrible but a little on the tacky side. Overall, ALofts are a much less luxury stay than most Marriott hotels and not any cheaper… so, unless you are under 30, go somewhere else.

Love the atmosphere & the WXYZ Bar & Live Music! Rooftop Bar & Pool are great! We visit all the time! Superb location central to everything downtown.

They put a boot on my pick up truck because it was using two spaces in the back corner they caused me to miss my flight they tried to charge me $95 to take the boot off I had a parking permit on my dashboard just like everybody else my pick up truck does not fit in one l spot it’s a “dually”
The manager wouldn’t even take responsibility trying to tell me that the parking lot is run by subcontractors even though their name is all over the place he left me to deal with the security guard there are other hotels directly nearby that are much nicer and have much better customer service I highly recommend you stay away from this place.

I love this bar; it’s got a great vibe! The balcony, the music, decor, games, menu, it all comes together as a terrific gathering spot. I recently had my birthday party there, and the staff, especially Thomas the F&B Director, was kind, friendly, and accommodating. I definitely recommend and will be returning!

Perfect location right in the heart of Greenville. On Saturday we were a block from the farmers market and not very far from a beautiful park. The hotel has a free pool table. The rooms are nice and come with a small refrigerator.

Great location at a good price. We were looking for a place close to the heart of Greenville without the high price of the riverside locations. It is just one block from Main Street and an easy walk to the Falls Park. And it was a third less than these other hotels. We had a poolside room with cabana. I think there are only six of these available. You walk out to a great view from the sixth floor with access to outdoor seating, pool and fire pit.

Aloft is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Greenville. It's just a couple of blocks away from Falls Park. Lots of restaurants and shopping are an easy walk away. The staff was very professional and courteous. Our room was located poolside which was an unexpected perk. The hotel has a very upscale, metropolitan/modern theme. I will definitely recommended this hotel to friends and family.

Check-in was smooth. Room was very comfortable. Great location, convienent to client, food and adventure. Made a quick stop in the lobby one evening that raised a hair, but was easily dismissed. While purchasing a soda — attendant asks, "Are you staying here? " I responded, "yes, " — (the hair tingle). Second question, "Would you like this charged to your room? " So as I said, dismissed it. But, did I? Cause I'm now mentioning it. The lobby is on the fourth floor — and the sodas cost less @ the store on the corner. After the event, I hesitate to think race had anything to do with it. However, can't help thinking the second question would have sufficed. Guess I'm just sensitive — wonder why? Love what they're doing to help pups find a family.

Early check in is not easy — — even if they tell you it is! We came from Asheville for one night. We got a Cabana room and that opens out to the rooftop pool and balcony. We usually stay the the Hyatt, but wanted to bring our dogs, so the Aloft was a good choice. Check-in is at 4:00 and we called 48 hours in advance to see if early check-in was possible — otherwise may not be worth the one night trip. We were told it should not be a problem. We arrive at 11:30 and were told nothing until 2:00. They did offer us a refund. I would have gladly moved to another hotel, but we had dogs with us. After 1/2 hour our room became available and the accommodations are nice. The pool is quite small, but unless you want to dive or do laps it's fine. Would I stay again? Only I had early check-in and it seems there is no guarantee.

Have stayed here many times now. Very clean atmosphere, comfortable rooms. Just wish they had room service. Other than that everything is perfect.

A very good hotel with friendly staff, great location, and comfortable rooms. Only three stars because one of the two elevators failed and it wasn't fixed until Monday. No service elevator so all guests and service personnel shared one elevator for part of the weekend. No room refresh on Sunday.

Parking is in attached city garage. Close to everything downtown. Room with 2 queen beds was a little tight, but laid out well. Pool and fire pit is on the 6th floor. Concierge and desk are on the 3rd floor. Staff gave outstanding service!

Contemporary Hotel in downtown Greenville. Good location to walk to most Adventures you can see in downtown Greenville. Rooms are nice and price point compared to other options in Greenville is competitive. Not my first choice but a good option. They do have their own parking garage which is a plus.

Had a room with two queen beds. One of the sheets was unwashed and still had body odor. Modern style rooms. No free breakfast. $7.50 a night parking. Nice water fountain. Showers, no tubs. Include fridge. No microwave. Walls are thin (can hear the chains when the blinds are adjusted). Update: 7/3/2018. Key card stopped working twice on two separate days. Extremely annoying. $5 make a green choice voucher was not provided for second day.

Husband's job had Christmas dinner for employees here and gave us rooms for the night. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Our room was fabulous as was the buffet and bar. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

This hotel is one of a kind. The staff is super friendly and attentive. All amenities are well maintained and the location is great. Is quite in the middle of good restaurants. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. Pool is smaller than normal but not big deal.

Nice rooms, perfect location downtown. Perfect for an in town weekend getaway. Update 6-8-18. I've stayed here many times since the original review and am always impressed. We go a corner suite for NYE and the views and fireworks were amazing. Easily the best location, parking, and atmosphere. Still my favorite place for an in town vacation!

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Easy access from the parking garage. Rooftop pool has great views. They slipped a little on a few details while we were there: Instead of ice makers, they have small bags of pre-made ice and filtered water. When I went out to get some, they were out on the 6th floor and I passed an employee and asked him about it, and he suggested I go up to the 7th floor and he'd restock it. It didn't get restocked until the next day. Also, the electronic door lock to our poolside suite wasn't working — they came and fixed it quickly, but someone had installed a battery wrong — it seems like after you replace the batteries, you'd test the door to make sure it still locks. I thought the rooms were fairly soundproof compared to other hotels, and the reception and bar area have great outdoor seating to sit and people watch from the 4th floor.

Absolutely love this hotel. Great location, fun decor, spacious rooms, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and if you’re an animal lover, they are pet friendly, and even have a foster dog in the lobby! Only downside is the rooms can be very pricey… but if you’re good for it, I would highly recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks, Aloft Greenville!

The requested room which was reserved was not available at checkin. The “24/7” Starbucks in the lobby is a sad joke. Could not get a simple iced tea. For dog friendly, the roof dog run with fake turf was totally inadequate. Won’t be back with all the other choices nearby.

A hipsters Delight. Skinny jeans, poorly grown beards, Ray Bans with prescription lenses and toboggans as well as dogs at the bar. No literally dogs sit at the bar. Very swanky and Tiny rooms. The thermostats in the rooms are more of a suggestion for the guests then a temperature setting because they pick the temperature your room will be.

The accommodations were cleaned and the service was very attentive.

Had a great experience at the bar. Exceptional customer service and friendly attitude from the bartender. The drink costs were what you would expect at a hotel bar. The atmosphere is pleasant and the building has a wonderful sense of local history. I would absolutely be willing to return to the bar at Aloft. Everyone working for the hotel was a pleasure to speak with and made my short stay all the more enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel with all the comforts.

I haven't stayed in one of their rooms but I did plan our 2017 office Christmas party and we had it here. The planning was super simple (done completely by email). The private room was spacious and beautiful (we had our own floor! ) and the food was amazing! It's likely that well have our 2018 Christmas party here.

Beautiful place, excellent service and food was great, can’t wait to come down and check out the live music! Roof top deck is awesome.

Attended a birthday dinner here… very nice atmosphere, food was good, and great service. My only complaint would be there were to many dog's in the common areas. Everyone isn't pet friendly and I started to feel like I was at a dog show after awhile! Just feel like there's a time and place for everything.

Had a wonderful stay at the Aloft. Love that they adopt dogs out❤. All staff we meet were so friendly but there was one that stood out and made our stay so special. Her name is Patrice, she works at the front desk and was so attentive to all our needs. She went above ans beyond! Wonderful lady and thank you Patrice!

Great hotel, especially for dog lovers! Enjoyed good service from all of the staff. The breakfast offerings and quality were top notch. The only downside was the room not being as clean as it should have been — especially the dust build-up in the bathroom areas and some stray hairs floating around. Overall we were happy campers and wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again.

Went here for the bar to meet friends. Staff were incredibly friendly and the bar/lobby area are just beautiful. The room are so modern. Beautiful bathrooms, lots of room. I love that you get little baggies of ice instead of having to deal with an ice machine.

Fun place in the heart of downtown Greenville SC. Walk out to all the city has to offer. Nice rooms, but a little dark. More lighting would be nice. Large bathroom and sink areas. Friendly and helpful staff. This is a pet friendly place if you need to take that into consideration. Would recommend staying here.

Very modern hotel. Beds were rough, even after requesting 2 changes. Rooms were super chic with great views. A bit "trendy" for my taste. If you're into the hipster thing, this is your place.

Have always had a great experience staying at aloft in Greenville. My sister happened to bring along her dog on this occasion, testing their dog friendly statements, happy to report that they have passed and even exceeded any expectations that I had. Lots of amenities, simple, awesome location being central and walkable for most of the city.

I had an amazing stay at the Aloft in downtown Greenville. Parking was easy and safe in their garage. The location was central to a lot of restaurants. I didn't hear a lot of city noise even though I was a corner room with two windows. They are pet friendly with no pet fee. There is fenced in AstroTurf area near the pool to relieve your pet without having to walk down to the street. Everyone was friendly and over all accommodating. I needed advice on the city itself and apartments and they did not hesitate to be a great resource.

I stayed here almost every week from January through November for work. Aloft was my home more often than my actual home was, and the staff made it truly feel that way. Everyone at the front desk knew me by name and would chat and show genuine kindness. There were multiple times I had issues booking and they always ensured that I was taken care of as well. The cleaning staff were the best of the best, as my rooms were always spotless. They would take the time to check and see if I needed anything daily, even though I generally opted to go green and forgo room cleaning. The rooms themselves are modern and stylish, generally with great views of the downtown area. After staying at Aloft for a while I would be upgraded regularly, and the suites are very nice as well, with multiple rooms, couches, and kitchen areas that allowed for a more normal living situation while staying at a hotel. I would recommend Aloft to anyone staying in the Greenville area. The rooms are great, but the biggest selling point to me was the service I received, as you will not find better service anywhere else.

This is hands down the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. From the start it is not what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point. No valet parking, small and chaotic check in area, and tacky rooms. My room had gross stains on the carpet and missing tile in the bathroom. The air conditioner was too loud to leave on while sleeping, and even on the TENTH floor I could hear the god awful cover band playing until 12 AM. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and am flabbergasted that this hotel costs what it does for what you get. Also. They don't even have room service. I have no idea why anyone would stay here or how this place has decent reviews.

Great location, right next to downtown Greenville. Tupelo Honey and Caviar and Bananas are outside as as you walk out of the building — I would recommend both as restaurants. The attached public garage is also very convenient.

Beautiful charming place. Love the lady at the front desk. Designs in the place are super cute and up to date. Go there at Christmas time and see all the trees.

This place is awesome. If you're lucky, you might see the dog they have up for adoption during your stay. The bar has a great selection of cocktails and late night dishes. The rooms are really modern and sleek. Beds are comfortable. Can't complain.

Stayed here for a week. Great pool, rooftop bar. Staff are friendly and the suites are great. Will stay here again. Shout out to the bar tender for making custom drinks for my wife and I with fresh strawberries.

Swanky hotel. It's got a fun young feel. The rooms have an interesting design to make up for the fact they are small. There is very little floor space. 50% of the time you get on the elevator someone from house keeping is in there.

Awesome visit… clean room. Quiet although in the middle of downtown so we're close to everything. Nice view. Comfortable beds, light switches are confusing but I love the switch for the shades. Good sized room so you don't feel crowded. Our second stay and great both times.

Excellent hotel for business travelers. Great location downtown within walking distance to everything. They also have a program where they foster dogs from a local rescue — check with the front desk and you can take them out for a walk!

My wife and I went to the bar for drinks after dinner. We loved the atmosphere, it was very comfortable. They've also got live music there as well. We also enjoyed their outdoor space, which has heaters that my wife loved. We will definitely go back again.

There was nothing to not like about this place. Downtown. Reasonably priced. Pet friendly. Cheap on site parking. Clean and modern. Super friendly staff.

I went to the Greenville downtown location. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere looking over downtown is amazing. I love the live music they have every weekend.

I slept in a king size room, which was a little small as far as space. The bathroom was nice and clean, but there was only two wash cloths and 5 towels — a noticeable setting. The room itself was clean and well lit. One can tell that this isn't a place for business travel or vacation but just staying a night or two to relax or enjoy a getaway. The hotel is very pet friendly — many guests had their dogs; however, I was not expecting dogs or even young children being in the bar. They also had a live band, and the acoustics and space there made it a little uncomfortable for friends to have a nice time and hear one another.

Great location in the heart of downtown Greenville. I love their style and atmosphere. Room was neat and had plenty of built in USB chargers. Our view could have been better (overlooking the parking garage) buy everyone can't have the best view. Staff was courteous and friendly. Will definitely be going back again.

All I can say is wow. Aloft is a very good bang for the buck. We had a room block there and my guests was amazed at how clean everything was and the friendly staff. I even got a free upgrade without even asking. The easy accessibility made it a top choice so guests would not have to drive all over the creation. Having keycards for specific floors only was great to keep non guests out of the hotel. Thanks for everything aloft. If rooms are needed I will definitely call the aloft.

I went to take the hotel bar, good service. The prices are nedio high but this located in the downtown of Greenville, so they are not so bad.

It was new and excellent and I like that they allow dogs everywhere.
