The rooms were wonderful, staff was helpful. Very easy access to a very nice beach. Lots of people on the beach as it was summer, but it was always easy to find a spot. Hotel pool was crowded, always full of children. We could never use the hot tub as the kids were always using it as a playground — there should have been some 'adults only' times. We would definitely return here.

Great beach location. Rooms are fantastic. Staff and valets are so helpful. The umbrellas and chairs you do have to be paid seperately though. The two pools and hot tubs are very good but usually very busy. They stay open late also. Wished had more parking and convenient but space is at a premium here so be prepared. Workout room is nice.

Nice hotel. Didn't give five stars for two things: elevators and missing shade. During peak hours around 10am getting down is a huge problem. People wait for 20 it more minutes and have to skip multiple elevators because those are already full. And there is no shade on the beach. Crappy chairs under small umbrella can be rented for $40 a day. But hotel doesn't provide anything.

Amazing Hotel. Conveniently Located right beside the Beach, great Family Trip. Love the Gym, Starbucks, Movie Rentals, The Pool, and ever other amazing thing about this Hotel. The Rooms are beautiful, the Lobby is modern, and it's so well organized. Besides that, they don't clean the Rooms the best. But overall, I recommend a Vacation at Ocean 22.

Staff has been excellent. I expect nothing less from Hilton, staff members are always wonderful. Resort is nice, rooms are excellent and so is the view. The only complaint is their elevator operations. We are on the 21st floor and it takes FOREVER to get an elevator, no matter which floor you're on.

Conveniently located to restaurants and the boardwalk. Two pools and plenty of space to lie out in the sun with direct access to the beach. Pool bar during the day and lobby bar In the evening for adult beverages and food was wonderful. The best part of stay was the pleasant and very accommodating staff front valets to bartenders and front desk. Nice place to stay.

I am EXTREMELY phobic and picky! This hotel is clean with modern decor and furnishings, staff is pleasant and attentive, the view is breathtaking and it's close to everything. It tends to have an older crowd so it isn't very noisy which is good. Cool entertainment room for children with up to date video games. Only flaw is that the wait is long for elevators. I Highly recommend.

Beach is wonderful and apartments are nice although living room furniture could be more comfortable. Persistence wait for elevators. Once during stay they totally shut down and had to walk 20 flights down. Not right for a relatively new high end building. Also beginning today the lifeguards would not let us use our umbrellas on the beach unless they are behind the chairs u pay for. Odd as it is our 5th day here and first time this happened. Really I convenient. Love to see the city ordinance on that. I think it's the guard looking to drive business to the paid chairs.

Really beautiful property! All the pictures are accurate and would even say its nice in person. Super easy access to the beach. We have 3 small children so it was nice to have food wash stations at each of the 3 entry points from the beach. The covered pool is heated. Which was wonderful in the cool spring weather. Really the only downside here is that the effect of the building on the pool deck and covered pool area creates SIGNIFICANT wind blowing over the pools deck. This might be great in the middle of summer, but in April it was getting chilly out there. So really that might be a significant plus this summer.

Didn't stay here but did the sales presentation as part of a package to stay at Hilton Grand Resort Myrtle Beach. My husband wasn't told upfront that the presentation was required for this vacation "deal". We have been Hilton Honors members for years, but you wouldn't know it by the way we were treated. Front desk staff was great. The gentleman who did our presentation was excellent, very nice, no complaints. But because he was new his manager had to sign off on it. She was incredibly condescending, probably because we were on the lowest income bracket listed on their form. When we politely declined to purchase a "preview ownership package" for a 7 day stay, stating that we recently had to purchase a car, she said "you can't even afford $ — a month?! " She certainly didn't like when my husband asked questions or stated opinions. Extremely rude, soured a positive experience with her new sales associate who we really liked. When we politely refused multiple times she acted disgusted and abruptly hurried us out. Would never spend our hard earned money to stay or own here. Sad we wasted valuable family vacation time to be treated like dirt because we are not wealthy.

The place was gorgeous, no doubt about it. The people were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and cozy. However there was a chlorine smell that would not go away. Also we were on the top floor of 24 stories. We only saw the South view of the beach, but I had a disconnection to the beach as we were so far up. We had a city view also, along with car noise which seemed to funnel up to us. I would have been quite a bit happier on the beach side on a much lower level. Our tiny balcony was very private, although the beach front rooms had bigger balconies they didn't have the privacy we had. There was no bar by the toilet for people with disabilities, such a minor add on they should do. I tried to switch rooms the next day but was unable to do as there wasn't availability. I understand that. But really would not go again unless I was guaranteed beach front.

We did a week family vacation here for winter break from Northern NY. I absolutely would not stay anywhere else after the experience we have had so far. The staff has been amazing, the pools are perfect, both indoor and outdoor. The kids love the jacuzzi. The view from our Ocean View balcony is amazing. The kids play room downstairs is co but they couldn't get the ps4 to work (not that I wanted them to sit and play that but we had arrived before our arrival time so we had to burn some time). I can't say enough about the room layout. I couldn't think of anything to change. USB ports are everywhere and the phones have charge cords for most phones. We loved the washer and dryer in our rooms. I can't wait to come back here again and I'm glad we chose this location. Saw a couple dolphins out front of the hotel yesterday while we swam. That was awesome! Checking out tomorrow and wish it could last longer.

Great location and close to everything in the scenic area of Myrtle Beach. About 7 minute drive to Broadway at the Beach. The staff is really pleasant and very helpful. Parking is very close also to the hotel. Off season or in season, Ocean 22 by HCG, is a very classy, yet inexpensive stay! Highly recommend!

I give this property a 5 star rating. The service was excellent. Everyone was very nice and professional. The room was clean and spacious. Enjoyed out stay. A special thanks to the bellhops They went above and beyond their duty. Thanks guys.

Very comfortable, very clean, large rooms like apartments, and — in January at least — not very expensive!

We had a great time here. It was a long weekend trip that we made the best of. The only issue I had was the pillows. I wish hotels and resorts could figure these things out! The location is wonderful. We walked everywhere except Broadway and the Airport with no trouble at all. So Thank you Ocean 22 staff for a great experience!

Newly redecorated. Beautiful rooms with million dollar views. Walking distance to boardwalk and shops. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely come back.

Nicest place to stay in Myrtle Beach. You definitely get what you put for. Wasn't hounded a single time about time shares. Super nice staff. Parking is across the road but you can have valet parking for five more dollars a day.

The staff were all impeccably trained and friendly. We were checked in very quickly, even though it was over a holiday. The only thing missing was an on-site spa/massage service.

Very nice place to stay for a Myrtle Beach vacation. This IS a TIME SHARE location but so long as you don't get caught up in a sales pitch, it's wonderful! My Girlfriend and I got caught up in the sales pitch & I really didn't appreciate it. They say that they aren't doing Time Shares and have another name for it but IT'S JUST A TIME SHARE scheme. They promise that they will not put any pressure on you but they do. Essentially they tell you all of the things that they're not going to do to you and then do those same things! The only thing things that are different are the words that they use to describe various parts of the high pressure sales secession you endure… They tend you up front that it's not a Time Share and "They know that nobody wants to buy one so this is a entirely different". THEN everything they lay on you is selling Time Shares using different words! It's putting lipstick on a pig… Be warned!

We stayed through the Hilton booking. It is a great place to stay. A lot of great restaurants with in waking distance. You have several view options. Ocean. The best view. Ocean view. Nice you can see North or South depending on your room. City you guessed it. Look at the city. We will be going back next year.

A+ experience! I can't wait to come back here next time we vacation in Myrtle Beach. Rooms were clean and the service was impeccable.

Speechless. More up to date than my own home. Beautiful view, friendly and respectful staff. Location doesn’t get much better either! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to vacation on Myrtle Beach.

Room excellent but many other problems not resolved satisfactorily. “Heated” pool was freezing, much too cold to even get in. Reported daily throughout our 6 day stay but nothing was done. Staff said pool was 84 degrees; totally inaccurate. TV/cable did not work correctly all week; again reported three times but no change. Had to call repeatedly to get more coffee for the room and midweek housekeeping. No bar (poolside or otherwise) until 4:00 several days. Staff credited us 25 dollars at checkout, hardly a fair settlement for not having a pool to use or workable TV all week. Very dissatisfied with this visit. Would not recommend it at this time. Hilton can and usually does better. We are owners and for what we pay this is not acceptable.

Promotional visit; Hilton Honors. Sat through 90 mins. Sales presentation… very polite & professional but no sale. Overall a nice place, well appointed with everything you need on-site and nearby; new building. Short on comfort regarding furniture; trendy style but stiff on sitting & relaxing; King Bed was very comfortable. Window in BR annoying; light penetrates even with shade down; very annoying. Full length mirror in bath faces toilet; will let you decide on that image. Other than those few annoyances, it was a good stay. Debatable if we'd return or recommend.

Love the layout and the furnishings. The thoughtfulness for electronic charges is nice too. Need larger rugs in bathroom for getting out of the shower and the low flow toilets always require two flushes defeating the purpose.

This is going to be a lengthy review of my experience with the Hilton Grand Resort staff members that recruit Hilton Honors members to join their packaged program. This review is not specific to the resort itself in Myrtle Beach, but I think everyone should hear the experience I had with them. I am currently a Hilton Honors Diamond member. This past July I decided to use my points to stay at a Hilton resort for a few days with my girlfriend. It was a decent hotel, slightly outdated, but we had a great time and couldn't be happier with the experience. However, the first day we checked in I went to an information desk and asked if they had any coupons or discounts on some of the attractions in the area. I was immediately suckered into a sales pitch from an older lady working at the information desk, which is fine. I wasn't necessarily harassed or bothered by it, but she was very insistent on this deal that Hilton was offering in regards to Hilton Grand resort. She told me the have a 90 min presentation on the new Hilton Grand Resorts/Vacation membership because of the newest resort opening in Myrtle Beach. I kept telling her it wasn't really something I'd be interested in, but she insisted. After a little while she finally said we'll give you 30, 000 points just for going to the presentation and there's zero commitment and no pressure to get anything today.

This place is beautiful. Although expensive to book by the night, my wife and I decided to buy into the vacation package. It's like a timeshare but based on points and are far more flexible. They have one, two, and three bedroom options here with kitchens and a great ocean view. It's really a lovely place to stay and the staff is great.

We stayed in the two-bedroom condominium and the room was absolutely amazing. This the the third Hilton Grand Vacations property we've stayed at and this is definitely the nicest of the three. My interactions with the staff was fairly limited since the room had pretty much everything I needed, but the were very helpful and pleasant at check-in, and gave me good suggestions about places to go and things to see and do.

Stayed on the top floor, great views, immaculate and extremely well equipped "apartment", service was good, had to wait 1.5 hours after check in for room to be ready, pool crowded, and pay to park at an off site garage are my only complaints. Great location, don't miss walking to Kirks for homemade ice cream. Beach is nice here, Myrtlewood golf a short ride away and a good deal for nice course. It's expensive but I doubt you will be disappointed with your decision to stay at this top notch resort.

Pros: Great views. High quality kitchen appliances. Spacious rooms. Large TVs. Free DVD rentals. Good selection of TV channels. The bathroom was spacious. Cons: Absolutely awful elevator 'solution'. The longest we had to wait was 17 minutes to go from the 8th floor to the 1st floor. There are only 4 elevators and one seems to be used by staff constantly. When we arrived, nobody even offered to take our bags. This wouldn't have been a problem had the elevators not been so crowded and slow. We ended up having to wait for several elevators to pass before we could even got in with our bags. The pool-side entertainment was overly noisy and we could hear it from our room, even when the balcony door was closed. The bathroom had a loud sliding door that could not be locked.

Great place. Limited public access to rooms is great for safety, 1 minute walk to beach and within driving and walking distance of a lot restaurants and other main attractions. Nice place, especially if you have an ocean room.

Our room came with a fantastic view of the sea and a nice a balcony. The apartment came equipped with all the required appliances and a great TV. The bathroom was spacious and clean however it came with a loud sliding door that had no lock which was a bit of a let-down. We enjoyed the free DVD rental service and Wi-Fi.

Zero stars isn't an option… It's overpopulated and the pool is out of order? Wow! This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY. I visited on a preview package, if you don't purchase the package… Neal, my rep, will explain your way out the door… very rudely. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED AS POORLY ANYWHERE IN MY LIFE… they actually have us staying at the Double tree which is a washed up version of an old red roof inn they tried to cosmetically upgrade without investing in the hotel… the sink is in the sleeping quarters AND OUR ROOM WAS UNAVAILABLE (over an hour) UPON CHECK IN… I guess that should have been my warning… please be aware!

Toured Ocean 22 as part of a presentation for the Hilton Grand Vacations club. The resort was beautiful with very nicely appointed rooms and excellent amenities. We have not yet bought into the club, but doing so is still a real possibility.

Second time to stay here for a week. The only complaint is that they need more elevators and 1-2 more luggage carts. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite both times and it was enjoyable for everyone ages 1 to 67. Walking distance to many local atteactions. The city contracts w/ a life guarding group and during our two visits the beach flags were yellow/red more often than not. I'm not sure if this is par for the course or just our bad luck though and is not in control of the hotel itself which was great.

Excellent resort, plan to come again. We were on the 18th floor and while the waits for elevators were frequent, they weren't overly long. 2-3 minutes, no big deal. Outdoor pool was very clean and a refreshing alternative to the ocean water, which we also enjoyed thoroughly. Staff was great — hats off to bartenders Nick and Dawn. You guys were great! Only negative was the "owner update" meeting which was, as expected, a plea to trade in our time share at another location to purchase here. They weren't rude but as always, spending more time talking about the perks of the HGVC program would have been appreciated.

Clean. Employees very polite. They want you to take their tour only reason didn't give them 5 stars. Right next to ocean Starbucks in hotel and also one down the street a short distance.

Very clean! Intentionally helpful staff and customer service. Amenities are great. We loved the pool area with a DJ. It was nice to walk out of pool area straight to the beach. Overall great stay so far.

Great place, love the indoor outdoor pools. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only thing is that for a huge hotel they only have 4 elevators! You have to wait all the time for your elevator so if going get a floor closet to ground floor. This is the only downfall I had on our vacation.

To put it it one word: awesome. The rooms are beautiful, scenery is great, and the service is superb. The only problem is the elevators. There is way too many people at that hotel for only 4 elevators. But the excellence of everything else made up for it.

A beautiful hotel in Myrtle Beach. I would say the nicest one on the strip. The service was top notch and the reserved pool was a great perk. All of the included amenities within each room provide you everything you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

This hotel double-charged us to the tune of $1, 400 and we're not helpful when we attempted to rectify the situation. Yes the rooms are nice and the views are nice but you will be stuck at the elevator over and over as there are not enough elevators for the amount of patrons they have. The pool is also too small for the number of patrons they have. They also did not clean our room each day which was especially troubling given the amount of sand that was tracked into the room each day. I have never given a negative review of a hotel before. They are more interested in selling timeshares than taking care of their everyday customers.

Stayed in the one bedroom partial ocean view room. All the staff that I encountered were friendly. The room was very nice. Nice decor, nice appliances. Full kitchen so I saved money by cooking some meals. Water pressure in the sink is too soft for my liking and I've had this issue with a few Hilton properties. Only one ice machine in the whole building of 24 floors. Elevator wait is long as there are only 4. Don't buy the timeshare until you conduct your own research and be sure what you're getting yourself into. The sales agent I spoke with was well-trained at sales persuasion and I almost bought it. When I took a minute to do a little research, I decided I didn't want to take up the "sign a contract on tour" special to receive extra incentives and I'm glad I made that decision for myself. The manager of my sales agent, George became very rude and short after my decision. Other than that, overall good experience at this property.

I was completely blown away From Check in. Hardwood flooring, Flat screen Tv's all over the room. Great view of ocean and city. All the best attractions nearby. This is the best hotel in the Myrtle beach area. I would Rather pay a little more for better lounging than to go home itching… When I Go on Vaca it has to make me not want to leave. And oceans 22 definitely did that…

The room has a wonderful view and the staff here and so welcoming and easy to work with. Very polite and quick to help you with anything you need. The room is very spacious and lovely as well.

Boy oh boy this place is absolutely beautiful! I I went with my family for New Year's Eve and had the best time here! The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is gorgeous, the kitchen is wonderful etc etc I could go on. There is a 100 deposit due on the spot that you get back if the room is in good standards and there is no free parking (10 for parking and 15 if you want vallet service). Overall I can't wait to go back!

It is a very modern and contemporary hotel. They have two nice pools in the same location one in the shade and the other outside, but they are not anything special. One thing I was disappointed about was they seemed to lack activities to do at the hotel, which is why I gave a 4 star. I enjoyed the free DVD movie rental in the main lobby area. The beach is just a few steps out of the hotel which was great! I would totally recommend this place and would definitely come back in the future.

Super clean and friendly and helpful staff. We booked the same day to change from another hotel that was awful; so the price was a little higher but totally worth it. I would definitely go back. Awesome facilities.

My wife and I stayed there for one night and our only regret is that we should have booked for at least one more night. It was a beautifully designed unit with a ocean front view, friendly staff, clean, modern, juat excellent! only downside was that we found a long blond hair on one of the towels but other positives exceeded that one negative. I would go back again and recommend to others.

Was pleasantly suprised. Best hotel I've been to in Myrtle Beach! PROS: Able to check-in 3 hours early (off-season & weekday), rooms were completely updated and modernized (unusual for Myrtle Beach), great seperation in the suite, convenient location! CONS: No portable cribs. They offered us 2 pack n plays which I'm not against but they were in very poor condition. The mat was "broken" and the babies legs could go through the panels. It was awful. I've never been to a hotel that hasn't had portable cribs… for this being such a nice place I'd thi k they'd have nice ones to boot. Perfect for couples, families, romantic trips,

We are HGV owners and decided to try Myrtle Beach for the first time and booked Ocean 22. Room was modern and clean, however our rest was interfered with by sounds of doors constantly opening and closing. The marketplace was wonderful with coffee and breakfast items. We enjoyed sandwiches there one evening instead of going out. Staff were all friendly and efficient. The text system for requesting amenities or valet parking car retrieval worked wonderfully. Elevators are inadequate for the size building and waits were annoying. Beach area beautiful and restful. We will definitely stay again.

It was the best experience ever. It was very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was in walking distance of attractions. Loved the ocean view absolutely gorgeous. I would have to say I will stay there again no doubt. The mini golf right down the street defiantly recommended. Great restaurants as well.

The staff was very friendly. Room was very nice and clean. Enjoyed every night there. Air conditioning controls somewhat difficult but wasn't to hard. I will definitely recommend and come back.

Great appearance for facility and great location. Unclean. First room we stayed in wasn't very clean, so they moved us to another one with same problem (finger prints and grease on tables, etc. ). Valet person was nice, and some cleaning folks were nice, but lady up front was not cool. I took a full untouched pizza down for them, and following morning I had a mean lady. I was like "can we do late check out? ", and she said, "the most we can do is 10am". The hotel at that time in the winter was at like 15-20% capacity according to at least one or more staff members. It was practically empty. So why 10am? I'm a hilton gold member, and this was the worst of all hiltons i've been to globally (from Cairo to NY to NC to SC to Dallas etc). I submitted a complaint through Hilton website, and I got no response. This hotel is NOT good. Maybe they have changed some folks around and it's better, but I will not stay there again and I will not advise anyone else stay there until we get some answers.

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Ocean 22 Hilton. We had the best time! The hotel is beautiful and the staff was great. 1st class all the way! the views are amazing and the room was very well equipped and super clean! We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We stayed in the King Suite and the amenities were very clean and nice. Hotel Staff was very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We are HGV owners and thought we would experience the new Oceans22. Had an overall good time. Room was very good, not great. But, I have to agree that elevator service and parking is a problem. Elevator wait is too long. Car pick up and front parking is a disaster. I am sure that staff are told to go as fast as they can to retrieve valet parked cars, but it does not help to see the bellmen sprinting across a busy street to get cars. Several near misses. I suggested to the front desk that they have a split check out time to avoid front parking and loading disaster. Even number rooms check out at 10 am, odd numbered rooms check out at 11 am. They acted like I was stupid!

My wife and I are Hilton Grand Vacation Owners at the Anderson Ocean Club a few blocks away, so we decided to stay here to see what the new property was like. Our first disappointment was when we found out there was a $10/day charge for valet parking whereas there is no charge at Anderson. And, they increased that price by 8% the day before we left. Our second disappointment was the lack of quality workmanship within our one bedroom ocean front room. Maybe I'm just picky, but if I was painting the wall and made a noticeable mistake, I would fix the mistake before I continue on. The shower door leaked water underneath as there was no rubber sweep to keep the water from exiting the shower stall. Our third disappointment was in the decor as it looked bland and cheap. The main reason for our visit was to get some much needed rest, so we remained in our suite the majority of the time. It appeared to us the walls were paper thin as we could clearly hear our neighbors television over ours and the constant slamming of the doors all throughout the day was very irritating. At first, we thought it was our neighbors constantly going in and out of the door, but it was the hotel cleaning staff doing it. I would have thought they would have propped the door open as the worked on the room instead of having to open and close the door each time they entered or exited the room. Our fourth disappointment was the lack of hot water for bathing.

Stayed her for a birthday getaway in 1 bedroom. Everything needed was provided including towels by the pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only miss was the elevator wait & that really didn't bother us. Can't wait to return.

I just came back from my a week vacation and I absolutely love this place beautiful I know that the elevator is a little slow only in the morning coz a lot is going on at that hour other then that I feel like I have found my vacation spot thanks for everything great staff :)

Time shares offered, one of the manager with a mustache, promise us some points, but we never get it, be aware and don`t loose your time to go to timeshare presentations. The menager was rude after we declined to buy their stupid timeshares. Will never go there.

We recently spent a week here and all I can say is it's okay. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, oceanfront. The room was very nice. The hotel itself, I wound not return, EVER. The elevators are a nightmare. Apparently there is no service elevator so they are constantly filled with staff, cleaning equipment and maintenance people. We stayed on the 15th floor with three kids, two of them toddlers so the elevator was a must. We waited upwards of 15 minutes frequently for an elevator to arrive only for it to be full. Valet… we waited over an hour for car only to find out no one went to get it… likewise when we tried checking out, it took over an hour to get a bellman and our car. The outside pool is too small for the number of people staying at this facility. There is no onsite restaurant, just snacky food available at pool until 7. We left a day early. : (

Brand new Hilton Resort for 2014. Choice of 1-3 bedroom suites with full kitchen and living room with oceanfront balcony views of Myrtle Beach. Hilton should offer a 5 day getaway package with the 1 bedroom suite for $1, 000 for HHonors members.

Absolutely fantastic new hotel with awesome huge rooms and a great pool and beach area. We love our view from the 21st floor! Thank you to Rick for helping us into our room and to all the great Hilton staff, keep up the good work!
