These people rent to partiers. Myrtlewood place is families and quiet retired people — these people bought units and rent to anyone for the money. Quiet time is at 10pm and it’s enforced. Partiers go to the beach. You are not wanted here. Plus read the reviews about how their units are gross and not clean. No sleep due to your partiers — loud music beer cans on the lawn — banging on doors at midnight — loudest music — vibrated and loud in all units around theirs!

Really nice condo, good bargain in off season. It was clean and mostly stocked with what we needed. Only complaint — remote in living room not working well and back was off. Also, the TV in the middle room was on Spanish and difficult to work. A paper list of channels would be nice in living room and bedrooms. Some supplies came the next day from when we checked in. Place is a joke.
Room was beyond filthy. Floor wasn’t washed, carpet wasn’t clean-had stains, sheets had stains, hair in sheets, soiled sheets; mold stains all over the bathroom, walls, ceilings, dust everywhere.
Had to go to Target to get cleaning supplies, cleaned the place & bought bedding to put on top of the bed because there was no way we were getting in.
Management said “we will notate the reservation” 😂 no discount, nothing; but seems like they are used to this & just don’t care.
Do yourself a favor & do NOT book here!

Our baseball team recently stayed at this property and when we arrived, all of us had problems with the cleanliness of the rooms. Our room had a broken closet door and horribly stained carpets. Others had broken doors / cabinets, filthy bathrooms, marks all over the walls. A few ended up buying new bedding to sleep on because they didn’t feel comfortable laying on the beds because the sheets were obviously soiled. One room had the smoke detector taped over and without batteries. When the front office was called, they stated they were closing at 5 so the family should go and buy a battery if they wanted to. I have never been to a hotel or vrbo this poorly taken care of. The pool was incredibly small and the fitness center was dismal.

The condo was filthy, no cleaning service, roaches in the condo, not enough towels for six people and poor service.

Extremely extremely dirty. Numerous things broken in the unit. Barely any dishes, no vacuum or broom, no hair dryer, no towels/wash clothes. Total dump! They won't allow my pictures to post on the page so I'm going into each of their posts and posting them for those who would like to see. Our stay was only 2days.

Honestly from the outside, it’s BEAUTIFUL and very well manicured as far as the grass out outside area. The pool was nice, wasn’t a fan of not being able to swim past 9pm. Great location, close to the beach and other sites. And the suite we got was spacious BUT it was disgusting! Old rags left in the shower, dirty sheets and carpets. PUBIC HAIR in the shower! The closet doors were barely hanging on! & there was so much crap just shoved into the closet; half the lights didn’t work and to make matters worse, the attitude of the stuff was so terrible when we reported this stuff, basically said “oh well because house keeping is leaving for the day”. We asked for another suite & the 1 they showed us was even worse! Dirty fridge, old, dirty socks & clothes left in the rooms, soiled linens. I couldn’t even believe they audacity to even show it. And then they took our pool wrist bands and never gave them back (but we swam any way! ) There’s probably way better accommodations in the area, I shouldn’t have canceled my room at the Country Inn but the price for the Villa seemed like a better deal. Never again!

Great experience! I live in the real world and do not expect perfection. For the price and all offered, I could not be more pleased.

The place was very tired. My bed felt like it was bought at a garage sale. The unit itself was nice size but overall it felt dirty. I would tell anyone considering staying here to explore other options before settling for a unit here. I understand Myrtlewood condos are a great price but you are seriously getting what you paid for.

Shop around mold in ac ducts. Many problems refrigerator didn't work. AC quit call maintance 7am 8am left messages office at 11am left came back at 2pm went in office. We looked at it found MOLD. SEE PICS left for beach AC working at 9ish called said it wasn't mold just discolored?

Nice location. However the unit had furniture that was severely worn and dirty. There were spider webs and dust everywhere. My husband became sick from the dust after being there for only 2 hours. The next day my allergies went wild too. The hot tub was not hot. Not sure why the furniture hasn't been replaced but if you rent your place at least make it worthwhile for the renter. Not just for your profit.

The community was quite and there are pools near each group of condos. The quality of the condos left a little bit to desire. You can see the use and abuse as they appear to be aging. The place was stocked with all the necessary essentials and not all places provide Wi-Fi. If they do, it is extremely slow. The indoor gym and pool nearby were nice to have but not that big and a bit far to walk to. You had to get a special key to use the treadmills and the pools (lazy river, pool, Jacuzzi) were all in one very hot room and felt crowded with the smallest amount of people. While we were there (4th of July weekend) the pool was shut down due to health hazards. Though they try to be luxury condos, they felt like the budget version of them. They are a fair distance from the beach but not that far from the 'Broadway at the Beach', still driving distance. They do not allow trailers, RVs, or motorcycles. However, you can park them by the front office by signing a waiver. The lot is in an open area and didn't look too shady as you are away from the beach crowds. Overall, the 2 bedroom condo that we had provided everything we needed and could have slept 6 easily if we had that many. The "King" bed is literally 2 twin beds pushed together with a cushion to try and cover the gap, and the beds are fairly old and stiff, so they weren't the best. If it would let me, I'd give them a 3.5 in total. Not that bad, but not that great either.

This property is not Kid friendly whatsoever, we were constantly harassed by security and their community rule book, which prohibited just about every activity kids would partake in, definitely not good for a Baseball team attending the Cal Ripken experience. Every unit had some type of problem, from dirty sheets to dirty carpets, etc.

Dont book here! We booked the room one month prior. Upon entering the kitchen floor was wet. We called while we were gone problem was fixed. Everyday there was a new problem. Couch old broken down, glass shower door fell on my son while he was showering, top vent part of microwave fell off it was taped up by house keeping, bed Springs were broken so we took mattress off couch and put on bed to be comfortable. Dirty finger prints on wall, dirty laundry in washing machine, blinds fall g down, front door was unlocked continuously unknowingly. Complained to staff… don't remember names only faces young black lady with long wavy hair may have been added hair, two white women one with braces the other with blonde hair (she was not a people person) made the complaint to a Mexican looking guy that had a hand that looked like he may have had a stroke. (Not purposely being funny. No work order was written. Only looks. Was told how to stop the door from locking by black young lady that helped me ck out a bike earlier… upset because we were accused of everything housekeeping lied they don't do a room ck. I can go on and on. Most reviews are same as mine. Hesitated to complain because no bugs we just dealt with it trying to enjoy SC only. P. S I put the darn dishes in the dishwasher as the criminals suggested. One star only because I couldn't do a review without it.

Loved it. After staying here for a week I felt like I was home. The apartment had everything from couches, to a dining table, a kitchen with dishes pots and pans, tvs in everyroom with times warner cable. You get free passes to some myrtle beach atractions and free unlimited movies to rent. It was amazing to stay here. I definatly recomend it if you are staying here for a week or longer. Thank you myrtlewoods. Best vacay ever.

Don't book here… booked here twice and asked specifically for 2 bedroom with one 1 king bed and maybe 2 twins or 2 full beds in 2nd room and twice on two different occasions I received twin beds in master bedroom and 2 twins in second bedroom! Customer service representative "Misty" was horrible and I wouldn't recommend her to work anywhere!

Beautiful place. Neat and clean. We spent 2 days. Enjoyed.

Just arrived. Got here and my room wasn't ready until 4:33. Then I get to my room and there is a family in there. The bad thing about it is that my card worked so I basically unknowingly barged in on another family. They moved me to a nicer unit, but now I'm worried about someone barging in on me. The manager offered to give me an extra hour on my check out date for the inconvenience. The staff here simply doesn't have it together and neither does management.

We booked on line prepaid, but they would not honer the price. They tacked on another $42.29 Calling it a non-refundable security deposit. No where did it say anything about this deposit when we booked the room. Had to pay in cash. The room was pretty nice. The staff could be friendlier. They offer free wyfi but gave us no password. I will not be returning to this place. The price was good but just wrong to tack on to the bill when we check in. Slow Check in.

Thieves! Beware HOUSEKEEPING STAFF STEAL! Be very careful not to forget anything in the room. The housekeeping staff is very dishonest and did not turn in a very sentimental valuable that I had left in the room. Staff was nice enough to double check, but when housekeeping who were the only people to enter the room after we left, whom I was told checks every drawer, would have come across my valuable as I left it in a specific drawer. Be careful not to bring anything valuable!

Stayed late July 2015. These are condominium rentals and I did not have a good experience. Every unit we looked (3) ranged from filthy to dirty. All had stained carpets, marked up walls, dilapidated and missing furniture, bed linens that didn't fit. Noisy ceiling fans, I could go on and on. Some of the good things are, the AC and the washer and dryer worked. Pools were ok. Management was full of excuses for all the problems. I would not recommend staying here and I will never be back.

It was very disappointing to have a 2 bedroom suite with only 2 beds. My son and daughter either had to sleep together one one sleep on the couch, which should have been a pull out. The kitchen wasn't very clean. Check-in literally took 30 minutes because the line was so long. For a 6 night stay for 4 people I shouldn't have to ask for more than 1 roll of toilet paper. Or trash bags. And the worst is that we had to take out our own trash 2 buildings over. So to summarize, it was exactly like staying at someone else's place and nothing like staying at a hotel or resort. Everything else was fine.

Condo needs renovations big time. The reason why we stay in a condo is to be comfortable like if we were at home. Well, this was not the case. After the first night, we asked to be moved in another unit. Although it was clean with a nice view on the third floor, there was hardly no knives for cutting vegetables and meat, one pan and one pot for boiling noodles, no cutting board. Not very equipped for cooking breakfast and suppers. The noise level was not respected after hours. Very, very disappointed.
