It has EVERYTHING! A delicious free breakfast (make your own waffles, ) lazy rivers, jacuzzis, rocking chairs, pristine rooms, everything you could want for a vacation. I made reservations with Sheronda at the front desk and she gave the best customer service of anyone I’ve ever talked with. She was so knowledgeable of the rooms and didn’t mind my 50 questions. Thank you, Sheronda ☺️! Oh, and they have cookies and lemonade in the evening. Nice little after dinner snack.

My Wife, my six year old son, and I really enjoyed our four night stay in March, 2022. The hotel is excellent as far as friendly service, cleanliness, amenities, space, and location. Right on the beach, plus multiple indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Very family friendly as other families like ours were there, which my little boy enjoyed playing with other children his age. The hotel is close to everything being located on Ocean Blvd. I highly recommend to anyone, especially families.

We stayed here July 11-17, 2021. We loved it! The hotel staff was always friendly. Kourtney and Ginny at the front desk were always super helpful and friendly. The pool areas were awesome. There were many pools to choose from, Adirondack chairs, hammocks, and beach access. We loved our private balcony also. If we ever make a trip to Myrtle Beach again we will for sure be staying here! Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our first visit. Our suite was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. Several pools to enjoy and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable & happy staying here.

Stayed here 26 total days last year. Called today to ask for a better rate since we are already booked at the Enclave for a much better rate and was told to check online. So much for loyalty and customer service. I used to recommend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful hotel. Clean and well decorated. It felt like I was in someone’s beach house. Very nice with cookies and lemonade in the evening and breakfast choices in the morning. Very comfy beds and beautiful views.

Had a wonderful Oceanview suite for a week! Very relaxing! The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Several pools indoor/outdoor to use. Will be back! We loved our week here!

We loved our accommodations. Great oceanfront view. Just a few steps from the beach. Continental breakfast was ok, coffee was good. Pools were fun floating around and the pool bar was great. We had a great time.

For us it’s second year coming back, and we like it… family friendly, clean rooms, breakfast included, pool area clean… recommend if you look for a clean, nice place.

The resort is very pretty and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. With all the bad things that have been happening in Myrtle Beach in the past few years, this hotel seems unaffected by it. You have to have a room key to enter all areas of the hotel and it felt safe and secure the entire time we were there. We will absolutely stay here again. Great family atmosphere.

Pleasant staff. Well maintained facility. There is one quirk, the bathroom door can’t open all the way because it’s blocked by the vanity door knob. After nine years they still can’t fix it! They have recently upgraded the refrigerators dressers but the “upgraded” sofas are not good, you feel like you’re sliding off the seat!

This place is amazing! The staff is so accommodating! They shuttled us wherever we wanted to go and every single staff member was super friendly. The rooms were quiet and perfectly clean. Beach access, pools, hot tubs were amazing! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Very clean and nice staff. Do wish the indoor pool would have been a bit warmer. It is March and not very warm outside.

We stayed for 5 days on the 14th floor of the South tower, room needs some updating — older furnishings from the 90’s but it was clean. Paid extra for a large shower which was newer. The view was great, right on the water and access to the beach was literally just steps away. It was coming up on a holiday weekend and there was still plenty of beach space and beach chairs for rent. Did have an incident of rowdy children jumping and hitting guests in the pool — management was made aware of he situation. The breakfast is great in the morning. Overall wish the price was a bit better for the room we stayed in but not a bad hotel at all, will definitely be back (during the off season).

Really love this place. Staff is very friendly, bedding is top quality, two porches, fans in all the rooms, free breakfast every morning with lots of choices. Fruit is fresh cut which is my favorite, many juice choices, coffee, waffles, cereal, etc.

It was totally Awesome. Love the fact that the beach and pools where right out your patio door. It was very clean. The kids loved the bunk beds and I love the queen size bed in the room with them. They offer a complimentary breakfast that was delicious. Next time will not do the timeshare and stay here.

My husband, daughter and I just returned home from our stay last week. From check-in with Karon, whom was the most personable and funny front desk worker we have ever encountered. After a long drive in the car he was cheerful, funny, helpful and most of all made us feel very welcome. We stayed on the 8th floor of building 1 with an oceanfront room. It was beautiful! Clean and refreshing and the view was just what I needed. The 2 rocking chairs and little table out on the balcony were great for relaxing after a day on the beach and my favorite time out there was watching the sunrise all week long. We had no problems with the elevators at all and the parking garage was nice. We always managed to get a close spot and our Dodge Charger fit perfectly! The pools were always clean. The only comment I would make is that maybe they have a second bigger pool outside as that was always full of kids, even though they had lazy rivers… or maybe even just have a few times during the day just for "adults" The entire staff at the hotel was great and very friendly. Always greeted with a smile and a kind word. Breakfast was very good, good choices and having the coffee, tea etc. 24/7 was a plus! As we always stayed at a rented house, I will always rethink that option as I now have this hotel to compare that too! One more comment, this hotel is down the Strand a bit, but still close to EVERYTHING! Being down a bit was much more comfortable and peaceful! Hope to be back again next year!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The view was fabulous from our balcony. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Thank goodness for all the pools to keep grand kids busy. The weather wasnt great so rip currents every day. So was safer to have all the pools to keep them busy. They have a wonderful breakfast bar. That has variety and not the same old stuff every morning. Very friendly staff, was able to check out the board game life to play in room when raining. The pool guy is awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

It was so awesome! Must. Stay. Here. We have stayed in other locations at Mirtle Beach but this was by FAR the best. The staff are amazing the rooms are clean and you feel right at home. I accidentally left my wallet their, and I came all the way back to Kansas without it. But I called them up, the staff were very polite and helpful and sent it to me in the mail. They are awesome. Also, we came early to check in and They said "Just a few more moments, your room is being inspected", the room was pristine.

Mixed Feelings I booked this hotel for our honeymoon based on customer reviews. A few weeks before we left I had seen a review were someone had said the rooms were out dated. Which concerned me. We were staying for a week in a oceanfront suite and its something we will probably never spend money on again. We normally wouldn't do something like this had it not been for recently getting married. I had called the hotel and they explained that half the hotel is newer then the other half. I had explained this is our honeymoon and if at all possible to be in the updated section. The women on the phone was very nice and said she would do what she could for us. She also asked if we liked champagne. I told her yes. And she said that she would have some waiting in our room when we arrived due to us being on our honeymoon. When we arrived there was a industrial type fan pointing right at our door blowing on it. When we entered our room it smelled musty. And we were for sure not in the updated section. We never did receive our champagne which was disappointing. I did not complain. We were on the road for 8hrs and didn't want to end up being in a worse room then this. I tried to use fabric air freshener but it didn't work. We got used to the smell while being in the room. But every time we entered we had to get used to it all over again. The good thing is after awhile you didn't notice it anymore. The view was nice besides the run down empty lot that was to the right of us.

This was a wonderful stay for my boys (my son and three friends) that I brought to climax the end of the school year and start off the summer. It was impeccably clean and I just love all of the decorations. The breakfast was really good and it was really nice to be able to choose from so many pleasant seating areas with views of the ocean. I loved my room that was an ocean front with a balcony. The manager, Court, was exceptional. The boys accidentally left a video game in the trash can and when house keeping cleaned of course, they emptied it with the trash (we know how expensive those games are). Anyway, Court searched the trash and recovered it! Additionally, housekeeping accommodated my request for a late cleaning well after they had left for the day. This property far exceeded the standard and I would recommend the property and staff to anyone!

Stayed at this hotel last year while at Myrtle beach with my family for the first time. This hotel was a breath of fresh air and such a clean and relaxing atmosphere. We were lucky to book it after running away from our reservation at the landmark. Cannot say enough good things. Free breakfast, right off the beach, 7 pools, free parking, clean rooms. Counting down the days until I’m back again this year.

The rooms are what one would expect. Maybe a bit in need of an update. But the beach front and pool are great! Breakfast is available daily… no restaurant or bar. It is a nice hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It was very nicely appointed. We had a king room with an ocean view balcony. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a very good variety of food. The pools and access to the beach were very convenient and easy to access. It seems to be located in a more hotel area rather than amusements and souvenier shops which was very nice.

Really enjoyed my stay. Arrived at 11:30 and was called by 12:30 letting me know my room was ready. It was very clean, view was amazing of the beach. My children enjoyed the pools and hot tub. Short distance to Broadway at the Beach. Lastly, great variety for breakfast. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs a vacation.

Great place for families right on the beach. They also have free breakfast and cookies for the "kids". Several restaurants within walking distance. Nice and friendly staff. What can I say it's a Hampton Inn.

Myrtle Beach is often filled with over priced run down fee charging places, but this one was a pleasant surprise. We got a two bedroom ocean front room. It was nicely laid out and surprisingly well kept. We had an issue with the fridge making noise, but the maintenance people came up and fixed it. Breakfast was better then some with hot food. Had plenty of parking. The lobby was well maintained and the staff very nice. Took a while to get into our room, but we arrived early on a busy day. All and all one of our better more reasonably priced trips. Will be back again.

I tried checking into our room around 11 AM that day because my family and I arrived early to Myrtle Beach. I stood at the check-in counter for a few minutes before 3 employees acknowledged that I was even there. When I tried checking in they informed me that my room wasn’t ready yet which was fine and they told me that they would put me on a priority list and call me a soon as it was finished being cleaned. My family and I went down to the beach and around 230pm I decided to give them a call because I wanted to see if our room was ready. When I called they said it was ready and I asked them when they were going to call me to inform me of that since I was on the priority list to be called and the lady said she “didn’t know” in a very not so caring voice. When we got into the room it was decent but not for the price paid. It was a suite room and the size was decent, the balcony was oceanfront however the beds were dirty and there was even sand in the bed that I slept in. Like I understand we are at the beach, but stand, in the bed? Is that not what housekeeping cleans for? I woke up with a rash on the back of my neck. The ladder going to one of the bunkbeds was literally broken and one of my children could have fallen off of it if someone wasn’t holding it as they climbed on it. The people working the customer service counter were never friendly and seemed bothered by your presence. Breakfast was not good either but that was the smallest issue.

Needs a refreshing. Elevators are a little scary. Location is okay, good to be away from most of the action, but, it's away from most of the action on the beach. Room had a few issues as well, like a non-working light switch. Pools need refreshing and are in the process of being fixed.

We stayed there this fall and everything was top notch. The Oceanview was great from the room and the pools and lazy River are really nice for kids. The breakfast was also great. We will be returning.

One of my favourite Hampton Inns, with really nice, seaside decor and an outstanding ocean view. If you are an early riser, sunrise is a spectacular event. If you are a nighthawk, the moon over the ocean is very moving. I highly recommend that you pay the extra for an ocean front room, and if you get the second or third floor you have the benefit of being able to park at the same level as your room (making luggage way easier to manage), have a great view and still be low enough to hear the sound of the ocean from your balcony.

I was here in 2014, 2016 and 2017. The 1st 2 years the rooms were awesome. Clean, comfortable beds. The wood floors on the 1st floor were clean and so shiny! I am a environmental supervisor in a hospital so I was impressed. 2017 the wood floors were dull and dirty. We just had a small room this time with 2 queen beds. The beds were hard as a rock… I checked the mattress and it was stained horribly… the entire mattress. Mold around the bathtub etc! I asked for clean blankets to pile up on the bed and bought a comforter to cover up with. I complained to the lady at the desk and she said all beds have new mattresses. She lied. The lady at the pool told us that the side we were staying has not been updated yet. Don't know if I will going back… but so many Hotels are outdated and dirty!

This resort was much nicer than I expected it to be. We stayed 3 days in a handicapped accessible studio and were very comfortable. The common spaces were top notch with fantastic ocean views everywhere and breakfast every morning was excellent (and so were the afternoon cookies)! The staff was super nice and friendly and so were the other guests. We arrived on Super Bowl Sunday and wanted to invite our friends who were staying next door to watch the game with us. Court, the front desk attendant told us we could use the man cave which had plenty of comfortable leather couches and chairs and a big screen tv. He recommended some local places to order pizza and made sure we were comfortable — really made us feel at home.
He also told us they have a ‘pool lift’ so my husband (who is in a wheelchair) could use the indoor pool and hot tub. Jerry was very helpful getting the equipment out for us and showing us how to use it. All the staff made our stay very enjoyable and we will certainly return next winter — great place to escape the cold.

Right on the water! Even though it was February during my stay I was able to leave the balcony door on my 10th floor ocean view room open and enjoy the sounds of the surf all evening. The beach is about 100ft from the back of the hotel. Parking is very convenient. The pools looked great although I did not have a chance to use them. Breakfast was standard but the dining area has a good view of the water. I was there in the off season but it looks like you would be right in the middle of the action during the summer.

The lobby and location of this hotel is beautiful, the rooms on the other hand at least the room we were given was in desperate need of an upgrade… while it was clean it was very outdated and in rough shape, one of our beds sounded like it was broken, the bathroom was rough, paint peeling, and rusty shower curtain rod… one half of the hotel was being renovated which we were not aware of when booking. So maybe the side we were on is next… hopefully so. We did complain but there were no other rooms available. The room was not at all what we were expecting, as hilton honor members we only stay at Hamptons or Hilton's this room just wasn't up to par. They may be renovating for the busy season. IE: The management did get back with us and did let us know that the entire hotel is being renovated, new mattresses, etc. So that was a positive! The location and beach front are beautiful. So on that note I would stay again!

I have been to this hotel 3 times and I enjoyed staying there. The staff was very friendly and I liked the lobby room. It had delicious breakfast and great drinks as well. The rooms are nice, and has a great ocean view. I recommend people to stay at this hotel.

The entire hotel looked very nice. The lobby and dining area we're inviting. The rooms were clean and the oven side view was beautiful. The ladies working the breakfast we're pleasant and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Our client, touring musician Shelby Raye, recently stayed here while on tour and was very glad they did! The room was perfect, and the staff was super friendly (even with the really late check-in. ) There was a great breakfast in the morning and a fitness room to really help get motivated the next morning before hitting the road. This is a beautiful place right on the beach. I attended a social event here, and was very impressed with the welcoming and cozy atmosphere of the very spacious lobby. There is a wonderful beach view, as well.

Requested (and paid extra) for ocean view room. Instead I was placed in a room that faces other hotels with a very small glimpse of the ocean. If you want a room with an actual ocean view, I would recommend going elsewhere. The promise of a view was the only reason I picked this hotel over others.

Had a perfect stay. They were able to accommodate a last minute ocean view room. The continental breakfast was awesome!

This place is Myrtle Beach's best kept secret… Hands down the very best beach front hotel in MB. Prefect in every way! Impecable rooms, amazing staff, two delicious breakfast areas, well kept pools, including two large whirlpools, and 1st class sunrises!

We booked a 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette and were not disappointed. 11th floor overlooking the beach and ocean with a comfortable sitting balcony off the living room and a looking balcony off the master bedroom with King bed. King, Queen and bunk beds all had comfortable mattresses, I'm picky! There are 5 swimming pools and 4 hot tubs at the base of the hotel. Some in sun, big lazy river, some in shade. The breakfast was varied and as a free item, very good. Always Wales and oatmeal and some days bacon, or sausage and gravy. Fruit, bagels, toast and good coffee. I'd stay here again in a heart beat!

My wife and I have come here since the hotel opened. Our comodaton, room service and staff have been always pleasant to both me and my wife every year we come here for our beach vacation. I also want to mention Clyde a staff member whom I have known for several years has always been pleasant, helpful and taking care of my wife and I when we stay every time. He is definitely a tremendous asset to Hampton Inn and Suites in Myrtle Beach South.

This hotel is a bit older and a bit Jersey-shore, but the views from the high floors over the ocean are incredible, particularly at sunrise. The rooms were excellent as well. Our '2 bed' was actually 2 bedrooms (room 1254). One bedroom was a queen bed and then the second bedroom was a queen bed plus 2 bunk beds. Then the main room had a kitchen AND a pull out bed. 5 beds for the price of 2! I liked it here.

Very satisfied with our stay. The kids loved the lazy river plus being right on the beach. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast was filling. Having towels available for the pool area and beach are lifesaver. Nice to have a dry towel. Very nice!

This is my second time here and it's been amazing both times. Love the atmosphere and the breakfast/lounge area is really beautiful. The rooms are quite spacious and the patios as well. It's also a non-smoking hotel for anyone interested in that. Great location. Not too busy and close to mostly everything. The pools and beach area are nice as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and the people working here are very friendly.

Manager and staff have no concept of customer service. Entire smoking floor means if you get a room above or below a smoking room you get the joys of smelling cigarette smoke in your supposedly non-smoking room all night! What a great way to ruin an expensive vacation! Hilton needs to clean shop on the management at this place and get rid of the smoking floor entirely!

We are very happy that we decided to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites during our Myrtle Beach vacation! Clean rooms, great hot breakfast each morning, and lots of pools to choose from that helps spread out the crowds so each pool isn't crazy packed with people. Each staff member we came in contact with were very friendly. Our only complaint was one afternoon, a lady was cleaning the pools while we were swimming, and almost hit my son with the pole. My husband asked her to be careful but she didn't seem to care too much. Other than that, the stay was amazing!

This hotel is right on the beach and each room comes with a balcony facing the ocean with rocking chairs. They have multiple pools and hammocks to hangout in if you don't want to go to the beach. The room was very nice and clean. We had no problems with anyone on the staff — — most went over and beyond expectations. Our flight was very early in the morning, and they were willing to drive us at 3:30am. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and we will be back here!

My family of three stayed during the third week of June at the Hampton Inn. Our first experience was with Ben who checked us in. He provided us, with the perfect room and made sure we received all the accomodations we requested. We had a beautiful oceanfront room and we're able to enjoy all the amenities such as: sitting areas with oceanview, complete breakfast, warm cookies in the afternoon. There were fitness facilitues, pools, a spa, and so much more. All the staff was cournteous and helpful. My family and I especially appreciate how Clyde, the manager, went out of his way to provide a way for us to stay an additional day in our room when the hotel was booked solid. Will definitely stay there again!

This hotel has the feel of a fancy resort. It's safe and requires your key card to enter all entrances of the site. The lazy river pools are relaxing. The staff is very pleasant, and the breakfast is a full hot breakfast. It's also steps to the ocean and has a gorgeous view.

Booked the last room in the hotel this past weekend! No hassle parking, rooms were clean and even though ocean front wasn't available, ocean view was still great. I'll definitely visit again… no issues!

This was a wonderful place to stay, we were on the penthouse floor and we had a wonderful view of the ocean. Breakfast was okay, it varied from day to day but it was complimentary. It's right on the beach which makes things a lot more accessible.

Had a suite and it was beautiful, great view and very clean. When we first checked in, the man who helped us was very sassy and rude. Everything he said to us was "rehersed and scripted" and was never sincere and treated us like customers. We had a little issue and he wouldn't let us even talk or explain anything, just talked over us. Not impressed with him.

Great location. Very clean and inviting. Elevators are fast, clean, and efficient. Staff are professional and cherry. View of the beach is the finishing touch.

Great place. Did accommodate ocean front, beautiful hotel/rooms. Nice pool/sauna. Staff would get a 5 for sure! So kind! I would give 4.8 but that's not an option. The reason for not 5 is I called ahead for high floor. They gave me the 3rd floor. Fine, good view. BUT when a family came and checked in while we were she talked them into the 9th floor. Kind of a bummer. But again, 4.8.5 IF we would have been higher since we called ahead. Still… this will be our go to hotel here!

BRING THE KIDS HERE! there's literally 8 pools. I mostly stayed by the ocean because I don't have kids. But used the hot tub and cooled off easily. There's free parking and the breakfast was great.

Excellent deal for being right on the ocean. Breakfast is free and higher quality than a normal three star. Plenty of pools and 2 hot tubs to choose from. The beach is 50 feet from the hotel. Close to many bars and restaurants. Only 5 min from the airport. The room was very clean and plenty of patio space to look out onto the ocean. Only downsides were that the common area bathrooms were constantly running out of things like toilet paper and the overall service was often rushed.

My family and I loved it here! The staff are amazing! Clean room, clean pool areas and clean beach! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you!

We stayed at Hampton Inns and Suites at Myrtle Beach June 20 thru June 25. It was a wonderful hotel to stay at! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our Oceanfront room was clean and well taken care of. The complimentary morning breakfast was delicious! Coffee and Tea served all day! The hotel and grounds were clean, back to credit to the amazing staff! I would definitely stay here again!

One of my favorite Hampton Hotels I've been to so far. First, the staff is really nice. My family and I had a suite and it was really clean and big enough. Love the breakfast. But you have to go either when it just opens or when it's about to close otherwise it's really packed with people. The pools are nice and I love the lazy river. I know the staff cleans the pools right before they open. Beautiful view of the ocean. Strong elevators. But the south tower elevator is sort of shaky. This is a great hotel and you should come here!

Our ocean view room is actually ocean front, which was a pleasant surprise. Check-in was delayed by 45 minutes due to a plumbing issue above our room. Maintenance visited the 2nd day to continue working on it. Other than that, it was a great stay. Breakfast was great, tons of towels available to use in the pool area and at the beach. My kids loved everything. A few minor cosmetic issues in room, but I'm not super picky so it wasn't an issue. Staff was very friendly. Rec room faces the ocean :) Umbrella and beach chair service right there ($35 a day, $60 for 2 days, etc).

Great clean hotel, friendly staff, great pools and beautiful views, right on beach. So easy to get to from the airport. Our family had a wonderful vacation. The 2 bedroom suites were great with lots of room.

This is by far the best hotel to stay with on Myrtle beach. The prices are fair, the rooms are very nice, up to date, and very clean. The hotel is very nicely maintained. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The provided breakfasts are great and make vacation on the beach very easy. There was nothing better than waking up, grabbing a good breakfast and then walking a couple feet to a gorgeous beach front. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The complimentary breakfast had different menu everyday, the staff went out of their way to make us feel like VIP. And though our days at Myrtle Beach were rainy days, the kids still got to enjoy the indoor pool as well as the heated outdoor pool. And I got to reflect, read and write while the kids were enjoying the waters. This is where we are going anytime we go to Myrtle Beach.

Don't plan on staying here if you are not at least 25, not even if you are millitary. Always read the fine print. Hampton let me down this time.

Need to find anything in this hotel? Good luck. Worst signage ever. I understand the small parking spots, but if people go to the other levels, maybe, again, you could include some signs as to how to get back upstairs without going up the dangerous ramps. Fitness center is a joke, and it's on the second floor if you're lost because the signs only point to the pools.

Beautiful hotel with very nice cushy bedding, rooms are very nice with spectacular views, wonderful staff make your stay worthwhile, along with a large variety of breakfast foods, and the sparkling pools and very hot large jacuzzi's, make you want to come back again and again which I do.

Stayed last year and loved it! Staying again this year because of my wonderful experience last year. Staff is more than accommodating, and easy to work with. The hotel is very clean, and I never have any complaints after I leave. Overall excellent place to stay.

Online booking messed up the room size. Management was patient and accommodating with a workable solution. Good customer service.

I had booked a stay at a competitor along the beach, but due to distgusting conditions of the rooms there I came to the Hampton (yes, unfortunately I payed for two hotels). The gentleman that checked me was more than accommodating. The rooms here are spotless. When I come back with friends or family I severely doubt ill stay anywhere else.

Courteous staff. Beautiful layout of the hotel. Loved the room decor! Plenty of lounging areas overlooking the beach. Breakfast was very good. Parking secure. Only thing I'd like to see changed is the dreaded Otis elevator system. We stayed on the Penthouse floor and there was always a wait to get either up or down.
