We stayed here by last minute due to the previous hotel I booked online being totally disgusting. The night manager and other staff were very nice. This hotel would be the most minimum accommodation I would stay. The room was a two queen bed room on the 4th/top floor. It was large and clean enough. There are no balconies, but rather an outdoor hallway. If you go out on it you have a partial view of the ocean, but once inside your room, the curtains are drawn the entire time… as people can look right in to your room. The ac was cold but couldn't cool the room possibly due to being on the top floor. The shower head had no pressure and water was coming out of the bath faucet in full force, despite turning the nozzle as much as possible for shower. The inside door handle came completely off when I tried to open the door, I had to put it back on every time. Parking is limited and very tight. There is one ice machine located outdoors on the ground floor down a hill, which was clean but a far walk. I think the place is overpriced for the quality of room I had. If the rates were lower and I had limited choices, I would stay here. Next time booking online will be completed after a thorough review from others.

It was reasonable for the price but I don’t think will stay there again. The place smelt musty. Our door was jammed and the air conditioning unit was very noisy. The phone was useless and the elevators were in the farthest corner. Though they replaced the AC unit for us, the general layout of the room wasn’t really inviting. The breakfast was very mediocre but they did have a functional waffle iron. The only silver lining was the reception staff who were helpful and managed all the customer grievances really well.

This pictures are misleading trust the reviews. The only good thing is the proximity to the beach. Definitely not family friendly m0re frat boy spring break friendly. Checked out last night due to roaches.

We stayed there only because once I arrived there it was to late to cancel. It was NOT what they show on line. I am NOT planning on staying there again. I booked days inn because I have stayed at days inn before and it was good. There was no closet there was s shelve on the wall. There was a leak under the bathroom sink. I am very disappointed with this days inn.

Ended up here after previously reserved room at another hotel was not what we reserved. The room was clean. Free breakfast was great.

Nice quiet Hotel, not the Ritz but not bad either. Would definitely stay again. Enjoyed the ocean view room.

First room (310) door lock didn't work so they switched us to (311) in that room the TV didn't work and the shower was clogged. They then switched us to the fourth floor in room (411). Key cards didn't work, got that fixed, then the TV wouldn't change channels, got that fixed. Smooth sailing after that right? WRONG. Wake up and there are roaches on and in my drink. Leave for the day at 7 AM get back at 530 PM and the keys don't work again then we finally get in the room and house keeping only brought us towles, THAT IS ALL. So now the is a pile of trash and dirty towels outside our room. Do not stay at a days inn at myrtle beach, worst hotel experience ever.

Hotel room wasn't very clean. Swimming pool and ocean view was right out our back door. Went to breakfast one out of five days there. Cold cereal and toast was served because the waffle iron wasn't working.

Beach view is beautiful, balcony safe for children. Hotel is run down and dirty. Elevator squeaks and is rusty. Expected sand, but upkeep needs bettered.

Careful when checking in late. We had our room given to other guests. Also if you want breakfast get up early not enough food was available when I went at the end of breakfast.

Do not waste your money. Pool is closed never told us why. Breakfast is a joke, that's all we get us cold coffee, and a waffle you have to make which was very difficult since the machine wasn't working. Syayed 1 night what a joke.

Staff and housekeeping was nice but the place is really dirty not like the pictures at all! People where smoking pot next to us and we had our child with us. We where not happy with our stay.

The sink clogged the first time I washed my hands. It looked and felt like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. Not enough channels for kids. NOT beach front. Phone didn't work right. Helpful staff. EXCELLENT bananas at breakfast! Only had cereal, bananas, waffles, and toast. No yogurts or danishes. Free parking. Great location on Grand strand. This is a review of the one on 9th Ave. South. I don't know what happened with my reservation, but I tried to book the beach front one. I arrived at the wrong one and the lady was very slow in checking people in, charged 50 deposit for 18-24 yr olds, was snobby and unhelpful. In conclusion, I will never stay at days inn Myrtle Beach again due to all the issues and there were at least 3 others that came in while I was there that were told they were at the wrong one too. So I think there is something wrong with their site. Very unhappy customer!

Not the best experience, the staff was nice though. However the toilet was broke, the fridge smelled of death, the ice machine didn't work, they had no cable one of the nights we were there, and the rooms were REALLY in bad shape, old and not invested into. The curtains had yellowed from the sun, holes in the walls were covered up with spackle but no paint. It just wasn't nice.

I have always traveled to this cadenza of hotels and until the date we have felt satisfied in prices cleanliness attention location.

Worst experience ever! Price was great, online pictures look appealing, then you arrive and you're excitement diminishes. Came with my family during off season so majority of the rooms were available. Yet, the staff thought it was smart to booked the rooms beside us with one young and loud group and the other side where domestic violence occurred. Point is, why not give us space? The young group were night owls that I had to ask them at 3am to please keep it down especially since I have a toddler and baby sleeping. However, they continued. Where the domestic violence occurred, I had to call front desk, whom called the police. We literally heard furniture thrown against the wall and the girl shouting to the guy to get out while crying. Things did not work in the room, found a roach, and the rug smelled dirty. As for" continental breakfast", it's only a waffle maker, cereal, juice, coffee, and toast. My 3 yr old was even begging to go home, instead of enjoying the excitement of staying in a new place with mommy and daddy. For all we experienced in a week, we still haven't been apologized to nor compensated for the inconvenience. Hands down, worst experience ever. You get what you pay for.

Our "off-season" stay was slightly disappointing. We had a great room rate ($20.00), great ocean front view (but only because they overbooked in our favor), and reasonably clean room (sheets and towels smelled freshly laundered). While reasonably clean, room was old and tired, the duvet on bed had stains, and the carpet was icky. We had a non-smoking room that adjoined (sadly) another non-smoking room. The people in adjoining room smoked and we had to smell that AND their cooking odors… all night. So apparently the staff doesn't enforce the no smoking policy. (Important to know if you are highly allergic). Breakfast is nothing to brag about. Very skimpy even for "continental". With so many other choices, we will not stay here again.

Very close to the beach with a pool and separate beach access. Rooms are ok. Breakfast is ok. Enough parking was there. Overall a good place to stay and watch sunrise over the Atlantic ocean.

I and my husband has stayed here before and had no problems while staying here the front office staff as well as the housekeeper Evelyn goes beyond her job to make sure that your room is right from the start and she is good at her job and takes pride in her job.

Nastiest rat hole I ever stayed in. Bathroom was small and cramped. Bed had an air mattress which was partially deflated. Decor was early thrift shop vintage. Breakfast coffee was undrinkable. It was beachfront but view from the room was of the parking lot.

It's a decent place for the price did not seem to be a lot of drug activity which you find runs rampid in Myrtle Beach. The rooms were clean, employees. It's not the Ritz-Carlton but I would definitely stay there again on a budget!

This was the hotel room nightmare from hellthis hotel review deserve a, — 5! this place was dirrrrrty! spider web on the inside window, the front door entrance looks like someone kicked it in. The outside of the room smells like some been urinating in building. Spiderweb on the outside of the building. When went out to the balcony i'm always smelling marijuana, I couldn't enjoy my view of the ocean because of the smell. Let's talk about bathroom linens I saw a door hanger flyer that read " save the planet with a towel!, here's how… just hang your towels and use them again! my towel was a beige white! no thank you. The bed was awful felt like I was on an air mattress so uncomfortable! I did rest my only night there because of mattress and worried that my linen is not clean! my internet was down, and when I called front desk the hotel phone cord fell out, I had to hold the phone cord, I was locked out of my room for an hour until maintenance and housekeeping arrive. I had to sit in my car it was cold outside. Management jennifer apologize but had still honor not giving me refund nor and complimentary stay at another days inn! I will not recommend anyone to stay there if you're coming to myrtle beach sc!

The room is clean and the staff are friendly; however the building seems out of date. The elevator is sketchy and the pool appears dirty. The price isn't too bad though!

Checked in on Sunday the 24th, the lady at the front desk was very nice. We order take out and accidently put the wrong room number, she immediately called us when our food arrived and stated she could not give the delivery driver our correct room number due to their privacy policy which we very much appreciated. The housekeeping service was very friendly and would talk to us anytime our paths crossed. I had a can of chili with no can opener and at about 11pm I went to the front desk and met the guy who works there and he kindly got a can opener but I could not open it due to my nails just getting done and he offered to help right away. Went to get some breakfast one morning and the other lady at the front desk was kind enough to let me bring some breakfast to my hotel room for my sister. Nice rooms, nice people, and very close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and thanks days inn for making this a great vacation overall!

The worst place me and my family have stayed. The rooms were nasty and smelled horrible. There was a constant sticky feeling of the floor with tons of stains. The pictures online look nothing like the hotel and you cannot get your money back with out a 24hour cancel notice. I have never seen so many cockroaches in my life in 1 location. The bathroom and room makes you feel dirty even after getting out of the shower. Which had broken tiles and the shower knob didn't work. The roof leaked and the a. C. Doesn't blow cold air. This place is a heath and safety violation and needs to be shutdown and burned to the ground.

I will say I was not very Impressed. The towels were dirty and the bathroom was disgusting! The none smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke! The carpet was fairly clean and the beds were actually pretty comfortable and the sheets looked and smelled clean! We looked under the sheets and under the mattress for any signs of bed bugs before we went to sleep. There were no signs of bed bugs in our room! Its been about 3 weeks since our stay and thankfully no one had any bed bug problems. The microwave and kitchen area were a little dirty and outdated! ALSO IF YOU SEE A PHOTO OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE MAY BE A HOT TUB NEXT TO THE SWIMMING POOL OUT SIDE AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE A HOT TUB YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN FILLED IN WITH CONCRETE! With that being said if house keeping would do there jobs and clean and with a bit of updating it would not be to bad of a place to stay for the money!

I must say I booked with this hotel for a 3 night 4 day stay, the first night we came back to a room infested with roaches, we spoke to a first representative named Chris he told me and my guest to come back the following morning to speak with the manager Lynn; she he stated we wouldn't get a refund for anything; she offered the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any person in charge of a business. She rolled her eyes, while I was explaining the conditions of our room to her she responded in a very hostile aggressive tone. She stated we don't give refunds, a Chris didn't tell you guys that. She stated that roaches wouldn't kill us and she didn't know any hotel that didn't have a roach problem. She then stated the only option she could give us was a room on the 3rd floor, myself and guests along with room service went to the 3rd floor to check the room out, when we opened the door walked around and pulled the covers back the sheets had blood on them and other stains. Room service stated this is unacceptable. I immediately contacted the corporate office and spoke to a representative at Wyndham Resorts, he was very accommodating, listening to my compliants. He placed me on hold and called the hotel the manager Lynn looked at the phone and let it ring 3 times before she answered, I said corporate office is calling u, she looked at us and rolled her eyes once more. She was so rude and inconsiderate.

The room isn't great, but it is on the ocean, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room any way. It could use some TLC, it's an old hotel. The pool is ok. The Continental breakfast is ok. You can make a waffle, other than that they offer cereal, toast, instant oatmeal. But it can save you money. We got tired of waffles after 2 days. Great view of the ocean from our room.

The staff is great. They were very helpful, polite and accommodating. Great location on the beach. The rooms however, are old and have the old building smell. The water in the shower was cool, it never got hot.

Writing this review for my mother. She said the front desk lady was nice and checked her and her guest in an hour early. She loves how the hotel was right around everything like the beach & food/shopping places. However, when they settled in their room a lizard was crawling on one of their beds. They told management about it, but nothing was done, and apparently all the rooms were booked. She mentioned their small breakfast area, but they did not eat anything from there.

This hotel wasn't a bad place to live at all. I don't see why people thought it was bad or terrible. My family and I just left after 3 days and we had a relaxing time in the hotel. It made us feel like we was in a little apartment or a actual home. The staff and the housekeeping was very sweet and treated us like family. I would definitely recommend staying here if you all are in the area.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, this days inn is the absolute worse place at myrtle beach. Nothing but a legit slum. Online it'll tell you there is only 1 room left but when you get there, pretty much a ghost town. I will say this, it actually has a nice location right on the beach with the option of having a ocean view balcony which is nice, but on the balcony we had mold on it which nothing was done about it. As soon as me and my girlfriend arrived, people were working on a ran down building right next to us which was connected to the "parking lot" we have to walk through. While we walked by, workers were dropping carpets and rugs over the railing of the top floor right where my girl friend and I as well as other customers had to pass by. The room was a pretty good size but very dated, half the room didn't even have power with a bad odor lingering around the room. Shower nob was already off by time we arrived. The "room service" they provide is an absolute joke, they hang around the property all day cleaning the same empty rooms everyday while yelling and hollering at each other and to people passing by. My second day there somebody was by their room hollering about some of their property being stolen out of their room. On top of everything that days inn has a no refund policy which is out of this world. I do not recommend this place to anyone whatsoever. This location is very unprofessional and very dated with ZERO TLC.

Disgusting! I had to look for a decent and clean hotel right away and I had to cancel my reservation… I couldn't even sit on the chair. Filty, smells. I wouldn't recommend this place. Dept of sanitation has to check on this hotel and close it down. What a waste of money.

We were there for Spring break 2016 (Mar 28-Apr 1). We had a most fantastic time. We met some of the most wonderful people and the staff was very friendly. Yes, this hotel could use some minor updates but for the most part, I can't wait til next year.

What a waste of money. First thing is the lack of house keeping ability. No extra toilet paper except for the little left on the roll, no water cups at the sink, the mirror was a cloudy mess. The refrigerator didn't cool, probably because of the huge block of frozen snow on the freezer. The air was so loud and constant it was like the bathroom fan was running. Half the lights didn't work or all the outlets… We called the desk and they came, some things they fixed, others they didn't. We chaulked it up to off season, but money is money. I actually changed a reservation down the street that was less money so we could have the Day Break Breakfast we were familiar with… Well this want it. No fruit, yogurt, danish… Pretty much nothing. Two cereals, bags of oatmeal, bread, two pitchers of juice and of course the do-it-yourself waffle maker. I tried a piece of the raison bread and it was too dry and stale to even eat. I shared my feelings with the young lady at the front, of course she wasn't the cause of this lack of quality, but to be honest, I expected some sort of offer to reduce our rate. We didn't eat there the next morning, it just seemed pointless. It's a shame when you can't stay somewhere with a trusted and familiar franchise motel and expect better than we got.

Prior to coming to Days Inn at the Beachfront, I stopped at The Sheraton Convention Center. I can honestly say that I was not impressed with the professionalism of the front desk staff at the Sheraton. There were two guest agents located at separate stations. They were more interested in the telephone calls than the customer standing on line (in front of them), waiting to be assisted. I walked away thinking that for the price of the room I was going to pay for, the customer service should match or exceed it. I stopped in a few more places along Ocean Blvd and did not see anything I liked. Days Inn at the Grand Strand was closed for the winter. This Days Inn property is the sister-property to that one. When I arrived I was warmly and professionally greeted by the front desk guest agent named Don. Although the phone was very busy, he placed the caller on hold and quickly checked me in. I looked at a street view room and an oceanfront room. The view for the price cannot be beat. I’ve experienced professional customer service from the entire staff including: Mickey the property manager, Tasha, and Jo Jo. What impressed me the most was the comraderie between the front desk staff and housekeeping. Ms. Evelyn, the head housekeeper extends professional service as if she is at the front desk. They have wonderful synergy as a team. Since this is the winter (off season) months; the owner is making repairs, painting, upgrading, etc.

This hotel is out for every penny it can make. Called days ahead to cancel, had two rooms booked for one night. I could and can understand charging a percentage for cancelations. But face value for the entire bill? Ok consumers, you have your warning. If you remotely think, you may have to cancel, do not book here.

My phone accidentally gave this hotel 2 stars! This hotel doesn't deserve ONE STAR! It was the filthiest place I have ever been in my life! The rooms! The breakfasts place! The jacuzzi had plants growing in it! They have not cleaned in sooo long! If you don't want to get sick don't go there!

There is a good reason that this Inn is priced like it is. The room that we rented was unbelievably filthy. Within 2 minutes of being in the room, I identified 2 roaches. Thank God they were already dead, because room service never showed up after 1-2 hours, and we would have had to kill them ourselves. Needless to say, we got our money back and left as soon as we found something else. I would seriously discourage you from spending your money here. Bath tub was so very dirty and the room in general was gross. Spend the extra $50-$60 for clean lodging with decent customer service. The gentleman at the front desk spent most of his time preoccupied with a lady friend.

If you want to slum it and have lumpy beds that sink to the floor and cushion chair that also sink to the floor this place is for you. The non smoking room smelled like someone been smoke a carton a day that had been masked by a spray Don Stay here.

The stay was horrible! everything was broken. The housekeepers were loud, yelling. The front desk man advised us to use our bathing towels and beach towels. The door knob fell off. My dad and sister both were stuck in the bathroom, twice. The shower knob fell off. My sister was attacked my flying bugs while she was sleeping. Yuck!. The complimentary breakfast station was filthy. The house keepers were ALWAYS yelling. They woke my family and I up 3 times. Hollering to each other. The pool was DISGUSTING! the was yellow and white residue in the pool along with hair and leaves. It took us FOREVER to find help in receiving more wash clothes and towels. There was thick dust in the room and thicker dust in the bathroom vent. A couple of outlets didn't work, the T. V didn't have much volume control. Dirty curtains and FILTHIER rug. The bathroom could've been cleaned SOOOO much better than it was when we arrived. After walking on it barefooted, my feet were covered in a black sticky tar. The phone was super dusty and very sticky. It was HORRIBLE! the door that joins the 2 rooms had a broken lock. Its as if the room was abandoned before we made our reservation. It was the worst hotel experience I ever had.

Doe not even deserve 1 star. Dirty smelly bugs and terrible service. Thanks for ruining vacation for us.

This place was worse than awful. We checked in the Room we had had exposed wires out of the wall and the doors were coming apart. They switched us rooms but this on was dirty. I don't think they have ever cleaned the floors. We found hair in the bed. I had found a roach and a bed bug in the room we checked out and they refused to refund the money we also saw other quest peeing in the halls.

We stayed at the Inn one night as we were in town to buy a house. Was late when we came in and we checked in. We fell into bed almost immediately. In the morning went to take a shower and saw black mold all though out the bath tub ceilings, walls, grout, Knobs that u turn water on and off. I took pictures of it all and took to manager he didn't even look at pics said he would send someone up we checked out. Got a call from the manager and he told us we would get a 20% off our bill. Well guess what we got our bill today and they added 20% to our bill wow on top of no breakfast and no shower. I broke out in a rash right after I left the hotel not sure what it was but Please DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Its dirty, filthy, needs to be torn down. Have stayed in 3rd world countries hotels and they are nicer than here in the states. Wonder why we allow this to happen to our hotels here as we had such wonderful hotels and now they are being run down by slum hotel lords Debbie Hobson Franz.

Disgusting attitudes, extremely rude over the phone, when attempting to make reservations. "Rhonda" didn't make me want to stay there, and caused my mind to wonder what service in person would be like. This was just a phone call. Extremely disappointed.

The cleaning staff could do a better job. There were wet and USED towels in the sink when I arrived.

I stayed at Days Inn June 10-14 our stay was great! I had a ocean front room on the second floor, our room was great! I could walk and my feet wouldnt get dirty. Our room was a 2 bed queen but, when you walked in. There was one bed and you walk right into the bathroom, shower and toliet on the right was small but great. The sink was on your left and you keep walking and there was the kitcten and the other bed with a door. The ocean view was wonderful! The service was great and the cleaning ladys was so nice.
