This place has bedbugs and roaches you don’t want to stay here. And they refused to answer their phones when you try to get a refund.

This is by far the WORST hotel you could even think about staying at! Staff, especially “Manager” Jen was VERY rude and did not take our complaints seriously. You can’t tell the hotel staff apart from anyone off a street corner.
The hotel and room was disgusting! Visible stains everywhere, floor was dirty, bathroom (or lack there of) was very small and tub was full of hair and dirt spots and the smell was horrible. We went to ask for clean bedding, and when we went to change them ourselves, there were all kind of blood and urine stains on the mattress. Went downstairs to let them know and they wanted to act surprised and still did nothing about it (as if it wasn’t a health violation). We did NOT stay another second in this dump and requested a full refund (which is still pending). Jen was only worried about us leaving so she could rent the room out to someone else. Please don’t waste your time or money. This place needs to be shut down immediately.

It was outright rude and disgusting! our first time ever coming to myrtle beach and decided to stay here through booking hotels and then got there doors were locked and then asked for a refund and the lady/owner hung up on us and then never received anything! it is such a disgusting hotel!

The TV was broken the AC didn't work at all it was dirty moldy and had hair all over in the bathroom.

Worst hotel experience! Booked a preferred upper level ocean front room for one night ($158.20). Given a ground floor room and told that due to high demand they had nothing left and let me know our room was non-refundable. Went to our room that was in a dark breeze way that was full of marijuana smoke smell. We opened the door and was shocked! Nothing was like the pictures on the website. Dirty bedspread, dirty uncleared tub, used towels and soap bar, completely stained and rusty stove, dented up refrigerator that had rusty shelves and broken bottom shelve inside with black mills and dirty stains running down the outside, dirty floors and furniture, multiple wet sagging ceiling tiles with black mold and our ocean front room was actually a pool facing room where guests in the pool are two feet from our sliding door with beach grass on the other side of the pool so you can’t view the pool. I immediately called the front desk and the manager came to the phone her name is Jennifer. She argued that the room is clean. She said that each room is inspected after house keeping is done and that it was probably just sand. She said she would send housekeeping. She made it clear that she had no control over what guest do and they cannot invade their privacy and that nothing would be done about the strong illegal drug smell. I let her know we have a 6 year old and this room was health and safety problem. She was unconcerned and reminded me again of the room being non-refundable.

The people upfront were very rude from the beginning of our stay to the last day. We were planning on staying 1 week, however, we had a really bad family emergency come up at 4 am on our 3rd night. I spoke to a lady upfront and she said that she understood and we would be getting a refund in 10-14 days. That was almost a month ago and now I can not get anyone to reply to my emails or allow me to speak to management. The room was dirty, cockroaches everywhere, food left on the bathroom counter, dirt and sand all over the floor, there was also mold around the baseboards and on the balcony. The elevators took 10 minutes each time you got on them. They seemed very dangerous and not sturdy. The pool was disgusting and only had 3-4 chairs around it. The worst part was the overwhelming smell of marijuana that was in our room. We couldn’t even sit on the balcony because the smell was so strong it was nauseating. We feared for our safety and the safety of our property inside the hotel the whole time. It was a blessing in the skies that we had an emergency and had to go home. I really do not believe we would have been able to stay the full week. I was willing to speak to management about my concerns and not have to post a bad review, however, they are not replying to me and one lady even got snippy with me on the phone. So I thought everyone should know this before staying there.

I recommend the blu Atlantic, however. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM BAWK-BAWK! It took nearly two hours to deliver and my bacon cane raw!

I chose Blu because I was traveling for my best friends wedding! When we arrived, we were greeted by Mauva! She made our stay amazing! I loved the view!

I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. We went to have a nice weekend and celebrate my sister, her future husband, and one of our best friend's birthdays. Upon checking in, our room was sour and stink because the refrigerator had not been cleaned. Upon notifying the front desk, we were able to upgrade to a room they'd just gotten through doing work in the bathroom, or so they thought. The tub was dirty and had a soft spot that made you feel as if you were going to fall through. To top it off we didnt sleep peacefully because after spraying disinfectant and almost a can of roach spray, we had to keep our luggage zipped as tight as we could get them and sleep with 1 eye open to make sure we wouldn't inhale any of the 1 million bugs we saw… 1 night and 1 night only, they don't ever have to worry about us returning; I do feel as though it does need to be condemned… GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

This is our second time staying here and we have nothing but great things to say. They are so nice and so accommodating. We will stay here every time we’re in Myrtle.

It is very dirty my bb a year almost swallowed a pill that found in the room there are cockroaches and everything is very dirty I would never recommend this horrible place and the floor it has is always full of sand the truth that for what I paid this was a robbery.

This is The WORST Hotel ever. This was my first time staying here. The Pic on the Web is a LIE. The floor was NASTY and SANDY, The bed had SAND underneath the covers, You got to run down housekeeping for Towels. And the ROACHES was the icing on the cake. Please don't waste your money here it's definitely not worth the $300+ I spent.

Bad service don’t recommend the elevator was broken and they said they were going to fix it and never did don’t waste your money on this place.

It is a place to stay. After you get your room, you'll understand why there's no refunds. Got a 2 bedroom suite, but one of the bedrooms triple as a living room and kitchen. The floors are sandy, so be careful if you wear dark clothes. A plus side is that the staff are extremely nice. I would not recommend.

Pet friendly on the beach! Which we found out is a rarity. It was affordable for being ocean front! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to take their four legged family members to enjoy the beech. We will be returning next year.

My family and I stayed this pass week we got there around 1 the room was not ready so we just stayed there until 3 and it still wasn't ready. There's only one ice machine and its on the second floor and the area smelled just like piss the whole time fresh piss. We got there on a Monday and roaches were in the room by Thursday they tried to have pest control come. The phone didn't work the fire alarm was beeping. White people hair all on the floor on the towels it was everywhere the floor was dirty. When you walk in just take a rag or something and wipe the floor it's going to be black. I had a dog and I wouldn't let him eat off the floor. This was my first and last stay.

Room is not clean. Only a few of the lights work in the whole room. Paint running down the walls. Very small bathroom and shower. Would not recommend to anyone. Staff is very slow at responding to calls in such. Was on hold for over 22min and 31 secs until I finally hung up. Called front desk from our room just for them to pick up the phone and hang it back up… Wi-Fi is super slow. They say pictures are worth 1000 words so here they are.

I just checked out of the blu Atlantic at 10am this morning! to my surprise I had a wonderful stay. My room location was ideal as it was maybe 30 feet to the pool and just beyond that the beach. The front desk manager I spoke with when we checked in and one other time was very sweet and helpful letting us know the best places to eat! When we first arrived our smoke detector kept beeping off and we called the front desk and the maintenance fixed it before we went to bed, He was very nice and respectful. The room we stayed in was very clean when we arrived. And believe me after reading the terrible reviews prior to staying at this hotel I was very skeptical and even spoke to another manager I about my concerns. But our room was clean and that’s really all I wanted for my family. We did not have any bugs in our room but outside yes there are bugs lol just like anyplace else you stay at. And yes they look like roaches but they didn’t bother us and we didn’t bother them. The only issue we had the entire trip was this morning when I was woken up by some house keeping staff yelling and joking around very loudly. When I said excuse me we are still trying to sleep one of them told me not to have an attitude. Which I did bring up to the front desk that I paid 1100 to stay for the week not to be woken up and then talked to like that. The front desk person was very nice and even had the manager of the house keeping address it and even offered me a discount if we stay with them again!

I'm going to have to give one star because our stay had been absolutely horrible. Upon arrival we were told about the $100 deposit which wasn't a big problem. As we got to our rooms we noticed we didn't have what we had reserved, which was supposed to be two king rooms with Ocean front and we ended up in double bed rooms with Ocean view… Since we've been here our room hasn't been cleaned the first time. The rooms most definitely aren't worth it for the price. In my own personal room the floors haven't been swept, mopped, we have no TV remote, night stand is missing a drawer and has a hair bad around the other to open and close, the bathroom has rust around the drain, the faucet in the tub is about to fall out of the wall, the bathrub sounds like you're about to fall through the floor, we had one towel and one wash rags upon check in and have had since out stay since yesterday. The pool closes way to early I think about 8 and the worst thing of all is our room has got cockroaches! It's absolutely disgusting, on top of it all somehow my friends window has gotten busted from the top to the bottom and it's sad due to we've hardly been in the room and I'm pretty sure they'll put us all at fault! It's been a horrible stay for us! Do not recommend!

I booked through booking. Come. When we arrived they had us in the computer as staying in September instead of July. When my confirmation showed July. It was also supposed to be Oceanfront we ended up with Ocean View. No private balcony. Just a walk way. We were not able to check in until almost 330. Also I have pictures of trash behind the nightstand we had a college refrigerator that worked a little bit there was also spilled drink that had never been cleaned up and stuck to the entertainment center and floor. When I went to charge my cell phone and my husband's the outlet did not work. The front desk called the first night we were here to ask how clean the room and everything was I explained about the trash behind the nightstand she said it would be taken care of the very next day it is still here. We have stayed here three times the second time they also had a conflict with the rooms do not think we will be back this time we normally try to go to the beach at least 3 times a year we are now looking for a different place to stay.

It's an ok hotel, if this is a quick visit. Just make sure you check your bed sheets before you lay down. Also, wear socks or shoes as our floor was dirty from where they didn't mop or sweep our room. The TV didn't work and had to call maintenance the 1st 5mins there. It went out again the last night there but we didn't bother to call. As we won't stay there again. Also, you have to sign out a iron at the front desk. Pool area is decent, small. But no kiddie pool. Parking is ok, tight but they do have a lower level for parking as well. Check in and check out was a breeze, no issues there. Staff was friendly.

The only good thing I can say is the location for this hotel is right on the beach and convenient to most everything. It is a good thing it's an easy walk to places because the hotel parking lot is tiny, impossible to turn around in & very limited. The check in was easy enough for me, although the people next to me seemed to have issues. I was not expecting much, the price was too low to really expect anything, but no matter how low the price, it's still overpriced. The place is really dirty, not just because it's busy & they hadn't gotten around to it, but nasty dirty. I don't mind sand, it is the beach after all so I'm not referring to that. And I understand some things may get overlooked. But there was some kind of stain which looked like dried blood splashed on the drapes & the front window sill. There were cobwebs all over the room, the stairways had what may have been dog poo in them but the elevator was so slow it was faster to take the steps. The hotel is old, so there are parts that need renovation, but those parts are really showing the age. Ceilings with holes, showers with cracks, etc. The Wi-Fi may as well be non existent. Several hotels have lousy Wi-Fi, just be aware it will be too slow to use. The pool is small but it was clean and there were several lounge chairs available. Housekeeping came by each morning, no problem with that, the front desk help was very nice. All the employees seemed very nice. It's just the hotel is old & not well maintained.

My experience at the blu Alantic was beyond horrible. Made reservations for a room, drive 4 hrs here and nothing was right. Reserved a king ocean front view and was put in a side view two bed until the next they we was told. Next day we ask about our room & when will it be ready. The Jamaican evicted us for nothing and wouldn’t give a refund of 700 that hotel did us so wrong and had our information screwed up it was the worst I have ever experienced. Dont book that hotel. Pool is extra nasty!

I wouldn't consider it a 5 star hotel, but it's definitely clean and updated. Wood floors, ocean views, clean white covers and sheets. I've stayed in much worse hotels for the price. This is a great place if you are on a budget but don't want to stay in something run-down. We saw no bugs except a dead one outside on the walkway. Hotel and staff are pet friendly. We have our German Shepherd with us and everyone has made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again, but would choose a full-ocean-view room next time.

Overall, probably worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Parking lot extremely small, first day there truck backed into a van, never reported it. Pool closed first day, don't know what happened in the pool. Stairway always smelled like urine. No trash can in room. Only 1 elevator so sometimes you might have to wait 10 minutes or longer. House keeping only come by one day out of 3, it was so late I told her we just needed towels. Never again!

Stayed here last summer and it was very nice! No bugs, nice wood floors, comfortable beds and a great and helpful staff.

I will give it 5 star. Everyone was so nice and friendly. They had just got thru with a motorcycle event. When we checked in on Monday afternoon the GM, Jennifer ask it would be ok to upgrade our rooms to the 5th floor with a Ocean front view. Of course we were thrill. We reserved 5 rooms and we got upgraded on all. The staff was great. Always making sure we had everything and gave information on places to eat and things to do. Will definitely be making plans to stay again. Yes the floors had some sand on them but what can you expect being on the beach.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The pictures are filtered it is nasty! Dirty just down right filthy! Anyone with standards need not to fall into the same trap I did. First room 512 the floor was dirty, air was not working, bed sound like springs were going to pop thru when u sit down and no one in my party was fat! Move to 411 same dingy look! Air worked hot water was the only thing that was ok. The whole trip. Elevators slow nasty! No clean towels had to buy towels from wal mart one of the employees got an attitude with me because I asked to move to an ocean front room and I asked are they trash like the inside rooms she said our inside rooms are not trash I said OH REAlly she said I have stayed here. She evidently had no class at all cause this shot needs to be tore down the worst ever. Some nice employees but it’s a hot ass mess if u go anyway… you have been warned. Unless u just dirty and anything can satisfy you then yeah this the place for you.

Just checked in and out. Run down and filled with bugs, with the most uncomfortable bed I have ever layed on. There also was a used tampon in the toilet. Save your time and money.

If you are looking for a clean, reputable, honest hotel, do not stay here. Please read all the negative reviews and be warned! We booked a room last weekend and when we arrived, were told only then that there would be a $100.00 security deposit that was not disclosed in the original agreement. Several days later, I'm checking my bank statement and the security deposit was taken and not returned.
When I called to inquire, a clerk informed me that their "inspector" (what said i…nspectors qualifications are, I do not know) smelled a "heavy smoke smell" and the money would not be returned to us.
(never once did we smoke in our room)
When I protested the charge and told the clerk I would be leaving a negative review,, she said that she would let booking, com (the site we made reservations with) know that I "threatened" them with negative reviews and hung up on me. Why booking, com needed to know that is beyond me. So far as I can tell, booking, com kept their end of the agreement. It is the hotel themselves that is dishonest in their policies.
All in all, with security deposits, room fees, a "resort" fee (as they called it) and pet deposits, this motel took us for over $600.00 for 3 nights. I understand ow the overabundance of negative reviews here and why their rating is a 2.
Avoid this place like the plague.

Sad to leave. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Meghan Debra and the gentlemen who just moved back from Atlanta made our stay there even better with their such friendly and outgoing personalities. See ya next year or maybe in September.

Room was clean and hotel was very pet friendly for my fur baby! Exactly what I was looking for when I booked. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again, especially for the price.

The place is run down your help from room services to the staff need to go back to hospitality school very bad experience and until you change your ways you might close down Tom page Washington press.

AMAZING! The people were nice and the hotel was fanomanal. We got just what we wanted, pet friendly and beach front view.

It was a bad experience I hate that please first of all the rooms where really dirty staff was ok room. 6.07 have bed bugs was not good at all I will never say there again.

Location is great and ocean views are perfect, rooms are nice enough, staff is friendly and helpful! We stayed in the off-season, so didn't spend too much time outside. $50 for a pet fee tho, non-refundable…

Our room had sand on the floor. The bathroom lights didn't work. We told mainatence about a leak and they "fixed it" by taping toiler paper to the ceiling. The elevator jumped and flickered and made so many bad noises that we chose to take the stairs the whole 5 floors up rather than risk it.

Staff was nice when we checked in, but that's really the only good thing I have to say. Never, EVER saw housekeeping during the entire 3 night stay we were there. Had no towels whatsoever in our room. Had to go ask for batteries for the remote on the tv. Half the lights didn't work, but that could be a blessing since the room didn't even look clean and we were afraid to pull back covers on bed. There was no info or anything in the room. I was pretty disappointed, and won't be going back there.

Alot of local shady people stay there in off months bit summer time decent no top line amenities. Goog house keeping, nice pool, and great ocean view, avg stay u would expect.

Sorriest place I ever stayed. What could go wrong did. Very expensive, nasty to the core. Rude workers, you have to search for luggage racks and your lucky if you find one, no where to hang your clothes, they just let people eat at the pool and leave their trash. When you park in a spot you better not leave because parking is limited. The phone didn't work but I wasn't using it anyway. I was scared to even walk out to my car at night. I would not recommend this place.

Only giving this one star because I had to give it something to share my experience. Absolutely horrible, rude, RUDE, employees, LAZY EMPLOYEES, my room was disgusting, we were there from monday-sunday our room was only cleaned 2 times (friday and Saturday). When we arrived we had no towels in room, when we went to the front desk we were told they would bring some up, NEVER did, went down to ask for more and was told IF she had time to wash them she would bring them up. Friday the electric went completely out in our bathroom. Forcing my family to shower and use the bathroom with a flash light, called the front desk and was told they would make a note of it, found a maintenance guy the next day and told him, he had no clue it was even out. This place ruined the entire week of thanksgiving and the first beach experience for my kids and i, couldnt even sleep with the door open because of the smell of marijuana. I would love to speak with a real manager instead of these on site jokes. Buy a tent or sleep in your car before you waste your money in this dump.

We stayed here early October for five days. The view of the ocean was great from our room. However, our feet looked like we were living in the Sahara desert. Room service was not up to par. Our floor was never swept or mopped, the fixtures were dirty, the sink was broken and they seem to have a towel shortage. The elevator was quite slow. Most of the staff were very cordial and accomidating and the hotel itself was in a very good location. I just don't think we will be returning to Blue Atlantic.

I needed a place to stay for the night so I just so happened to pick this hotel. It wasn't the best, but it also wasn't the worst. The room did look and feel a little bit nasty though. We got a nonsmoking room but as soon as we walked in it smelled of cigarettes. I think it could use a bit of a upgrade. I only stayed one night but I don't know if could have handled a whole weekend. I have stayed at much nicer for cheaper. Staff was nice though!

This hotel will be lucky if a hurricane comes and sweeps it away. There were a few updates in the rooms but it was like they put a new things in a dirty old room. The housekeeping did not come one time in the 3 nights we were there. They said our door was locked so they couldn't put new towels in our room, but we weren't there all day long and only bolted our door late at night. The floors were dirty and haven't been washed in quite some time. There were cigarette butts under the table. The rooms weren't ready at check in time either. The hotel is also in kind of a shady part of town and you have to uber or drive to get to anything worth looking at or shopping. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I like.

Room floor was sandy every day, but we didn't go on the beach. Smell of urine in hallways and down steps. Other than that, the price and location were good. Right on the beach.

This hotel was ok. The staff were fantastic, both check in and check out women were very friendly. The room itself was nice except the floors are a little dirty. Still could use some work and lower the prices until it's updated completely to justify the cost. Parking is terrible as we had 2 cars and could only park one in the lot.

No parking for starters. Rooms were outdated & the whole place needs a total makeover. The only good thing was we had ocean view. If you arrive early don't think you can check in because you won't be able to at all. We didn't want our room cleaned but did ask for clean towels & toliet paper & had to basically beg the front desk since house keeping never had any on their cart & said the would being back to us in which they never did. Was not impressed with this place one bit.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This was the nastiest place I have ever stayed! The day my family and me checked in the room was dirty and had not been cleaned. The remote had one battery and NO back. I went to the front desk to let them know how nasty the floors in the room and bathroom was so a guy came up and swept but the floor was never mopped as they stayed. The next morning my family and me checked out after I found a roach crawling around in the bathroom. We were suppose to stay until Saturday but couldn't. We were pissed that we drove 3 1/2 hours Only to cut out vacation short. I received the money back for the night I had prepaid for but no money back for the night we were forced to stay in the nasty room where my sisters and me both were bitten by bugs… so think it may have been bedbugs. I tried giving NO STARS but my post would not load until I gave one star. I posted pictures as well.

Great view hotel was not all that but who's going to be in hotel in south Carolina. Room was nice to sleep in an balcony was just right. Denise will help you the best she can she did for us. Six of us an we are having a blast. Sitting on balcony watching sun rise with my wifey an daddy's girl what a view.

The so called hardwood floors were nasty. Had not been swept or mopped. All you could feel was sand and the bottom of your feet were black. The beds were not queen size. The mini refrigerator freezer didn't freeze. Woke up one morning and there was water from the air conditioner on the floor. The pool looked like it was never cleaned. Lots of sand in it. The deck leading our to the ocean had a board that was messed up and caused someone to fall and hurt messed up her butt and bruised her arm with a small gash in her arm.

We were very disappointed with this hotel! The pictures make it look like a decent hotel so don't let them fool ya! When we got to the hotel, there were no parking spaces available at all and the hotel staff seemed to want to argue that our SUV could fit in a 3ft parking space. There was trash every where. One large lady at the front desk was talking about other guest very rudely right in front of us. She said they seem to think they're "entitled" because they wanted her to find a cart to put their luggage on. The hotel was supposed to be smoke free but smelled so strong in our room of cigarettes and weed. There were ashtrays at every corner. Our bathroom light flickered like a strobe light and there were no trash cans in the whole room. I had to call down to the lobby to ask for one. The fridge didn't work so we had to have them come replace it with a new one. Our a/c was louder than the motor cycles during bike week. I actually thought it was a bike until I turned the a/c unit off. Everything just seemed so dingy and dirty. They picked up our towels and left them sitting outside our room for 2 days. When we left for breakfast one morning there was someone sleeping in chair in the parking deck. I would not swim in that pool at all. I know it's myrtle beach and you expect somethings but customer service and cleanliness go a long way.

Parking for this hotel is a nightmare! There is one blue line handicap spot by the front door that piece that don't enforce handicap parking in that space. My husband had to bring this to the attention of the staff and they acted as if they had no clue that it was truly a handicap space. He had to paycheck hate them and the fact that it was marked blue meaning handicapped and that we needed that spot since we have a handicap sign. We did not end up with the exact room that we had booked. The bottom floor room off of the pool did not have carpeting to help eliminate noise. It had a vinyl faux wood floor with out any area rugs to help with the sand issue. As a matter of fact, when we initially got into our room there was already samd on the floor. We had to put a bathroom towel down between the two beds in order to dust off our sandy feet in order to not get sand in the beds. The bathroom door would not close in order to have privacy. The front door did not have a top safety latch on the inside. There was even about an 1"-1/2" gap at the bottom of the front door. While I was standing inside the front door trying to access their Wi-Fi which didn't work, I had a bug crawled up my leg. The AC unit was very loud and didn't quite work properly because the room stayed humid. The room phone didn't work. My husband had to go up to the Front Desk to complain about our loud neighbors and their stinky illegal smoking stench that had the Corredor reeking of marijuana.

Holy moly, hiking 6 flights of stairs going and coming! Seems as if our door to our room is the only one on the 6th floor that shuts properly! Everybody is steady slamming doors up here! The view is great, the cleaning lady was very nice! But hearing people shouting and slamming throughout the night and smelling pot smoke on our way out is not necessarily an ideal beach trip! I must say!

Let me first start by saying that the positive reviewers must have either been people who work for the "resort" or those who have absolutely no clue about what should be expected of a hotel. The fact that this place received 3 stars is absolutely criminal. If there was a way to leave zero or negative stars, we would. Upon arriving, we climbed the extremely tight and narrow parking garage and were nearly hit by other vehicles and speeding motorcyclists going around the corners. There were no signs for the elevators, which didn't work when we arrived by the way. Upon entering the main entrance, instead of being greeted by a nice concierge desk, we had to walk through a sketchy bar to get to a podium that served as the reception desk. Oh, and before we could get to the desk, there were three or four police officers there responding to an incident on the premises. Once we finally checked in, we got our bags and went to our room. We were able to find an elevator that worked and it was the most disgusting and unsafe elevator we've ever been in. It looked like they had never cleaned it and probably haven't. We were obviously very skeptical of the quality of the room at this point and when we opened our room door it didn't disappoint our skepticism. The floors were sticky and slippery and the room was like a scene out of a 70s porn film. The TV remote was sticky and the bathroom had hair and lipstick everywhere. The towels were covered in filth and hair.

This hotel to horrible with just the lobbi know what you can find in the rooms, bad looking, stinks of tobacco is dirty of the worst, the parking lot reeked of urine, the stairs nothing to do with the pictures showing on online save me book but I share it with you so that they do not leave impress with the photos.

This horrible and susio not recommend it to anyone.

They are well over priced for the Slum that it is. No safe, no clean, no service, over price. The hall and the elevator are very dirty, filthy. Went I finally got in my room, the was a person using the bathroom. They did not put towel in the room, so I call and ask for towel. The lady told my that they will be in the room in 10 minutes. Well I call 2 more time and went to the office 2 time and still didn't no towel. I am giving one start because I need to press that in order to post. This is a minor 2 start.

Very convenient and great staff members. Affordable rate, nice pool, perfect view of ocean. Me and my family loved it.

I only gave one star because I had to give it a rate. But believe me I didn't want to give you folks a rate. Me and my sisters were excited to come on this beach trip, and to stay at the hotel because I had just turned 21 and I could finally get my own without an adult. But the front desk people when we came there, they were awful. Horrendous. I will never waste my money on them ever again, and, we left early due to personal reasons back at home and the lady just did not like that. Her attitude was disgusting, she had a look on her face the entire time when we were checking out. But lets not kid ourselves, it really all started with this guy named James that is a manager there. I had made my deposit for the hotel back in June for August with my debit card. In the middle of the month sometime AFTER I made that deposit and it went through, I was told "no, we will have to mail you a check and you will have to repay it! " I was absolutely disappointed with him but mainly because of the attitude behind it. I spoke to someone else a few days after at the hotel who was nicer and said nooo no you don't have to do that, just come on in, I will write a note that you can just check in. Went to go check in and it must have taken at least 30 minutes when it shouldn't have taken more than 5. And one more thing, the rooms were so outdated and ugly and looked like they haven't been cleaned in days, well ours did anyways.

Don't believe the nice pictures posted, that is definitely what I saw when I got to the hotel/room. It's not even a hotel it's a motel. Costumer service was terrible, the woman that checked me in had terrible attitude and bad communication & also the general manager too. The room had bed bugs, walls are dusty, kitchen is terrible and not cleaned AT ALL, towels we're not even washed and had black dirt on it shower was broken, paper towels holder was broken, wire/cords are broken and hanging out, blood stains on the pillows, insects behind the refrigerator, the sheets are dirty and the elevator takes about 5-10 minutes to get to your floor. The hotel is terrible and I would NEVER think about staying in it again. Again the pictures they posted online are not what you'll see in reality. I called the general manager about it and asked for a refund but she said I'll not be refunded any money and rudely said "why didn't you just call up the house keeping to get another pillow sheet" (I saw the blood stains when I flipped the pillow to the other side after I woke up).

Hotel is very unsanitary and so are the rooms. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. First and last time coming here. The housekeeper was rude. The bed linen was dirty and the sofa bed had sand and dirt all in it when we pulled it out to use it. Found out from the housekeeping supervisor that the bed linen gets changed every 3 days which told me that we were sleeping on dirty sheets because she also said that it was not time to change the sheets. The trash wasn't emptied in the room nor the trash can outside. The Lazy River it was like a rapid river. They had a bar with in the pool which trash such as beer cans cups napkins were left along the side the pool and in the pool. There was poop in the pool deck. Never again!

Rooms were nice and comfortable. The service was not so great Easy accessible location with beautiful views and a great pool.

Wow. This place is AWFUL. Right off the bat the front desk was horribly rude. Gave us an extremely hard time about everything checking in. The room wasn't anything like what we thought we paid a ton of money for, and one of the beds wasn't even made. So outdated. There's a bandaid covering up a leak on the shower head. The "lazy river" is a cloudy, disgusting tiny little stream of water that goes around a small enclosed room within the lobby. The only nice thing about it is the view from the ocean side room. The swim up pool bar is nice but not like the pics. Outdated and old. I'll probably never stay here again. Disappointed.

The only thing I like about this hotel is that its on the beach & the bed was comfy. My room was poorly cleaned & the air conditioner in my room did not blow out much cold air. I wouldnt stay here again if I was staying in Myrtle Beach for a long period of time. But for the weekend & the price. Good deal.

Not good. Booked room for beach front room in advance, when checking in, they said there was a mistake then gave us a side room. With no difference in price! At the same time another couple came in the front room and said other people have keys to there room and just walked in, so they wanted a different room. Floors in the room were really dirty. Other wise, beach was great.

Rooms are not at all as they appear in pictures on website. Rooms were filthy, nasty, awful. Mold, most likely black mold, even overheard employee discuss the mold with another employee. Bathtub was cracked and dirty, sink leaked, holes in walls, refrigerator, stove and cabinets were filthy. Sand and dirt all over the floors. Requested checkout within 5 minutes of seeing the room, was told I'd have to wait until the manager Sherry was there the next morning. I was at the desk at 7:45 am the following morning, sherry wasn't coming in that day… It took me from 7:45-10:10am to get a refund for the other two nights I had reserved, and was told and have it in writing I would get a partial refund for the night I had to stay in that place. Called spoke to sherry, she said no I would not be given a refund. There were 4 other couples trying to get a refund the same morning as me. Don't waste your vacation and Money here!

When we first arrived it looked like the no-tell motel and for $600 I expected a bit more. When we checked into our room, we had to body slam the door to Open it and when inside found that the ceiling was falling down and the floorboards weren't fastened to the wall. I immediately started looking for another hotel. After talking to the front desk, they asked if we wanted to be moved. We looked at 2 other rooms, the second had not been cleaned and the kitchenette actually had food still in the sink and oil on the stove. We took this room out of pure exhaustion and because it had a private balcony with a straight on ocean view. Housekeeping came around at about 5 or 6 pm and asked what we wanted done. One day only one of the beds were made. I just returned home to find that a bottle of medication is missing from my backpack and their staff were the only people with access to my bags. I have called 3 times and have been hung up on 3 times. I am so frustrated I could scream. I would stay on the beach in a tent before I'd stay there again.

I had an awful experience at this hotel. The parking area is ridiculous. My friends and I got back to our hotel to find that there was absolutely no parking! We had to park at a parking meter which was 4 blocks away! The bathroom was disgusting! Our sink was clogged the entire stay! The bathroom was very dirty! The customer service was horrible! The guy at the desk was mad at me because I woke him up to inquiring about parking! I will never stay at this hotel again!

Had a very good experience was here from July 6th to the 13th. After a horrible bed bug experience at the original hotel I booked this place was great. We got a nice ocean front room. The rooms were big and clean. The only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 is because room service could be better. If your looking for a nice affordable ocean front I would recommend this place!

Just stayed here from Sunday to Friday after leaving a hotel that was a hole in the wall (Carolina tarheel hotel), and found a room that was a partial ocean view. I was pleased with the room, view, location, and availability. A 15 minute drive to the mall and Wal Mart. A 15 minute walk to family kingdom. Also a washer and dryer for guest. I wish they had a iron and ironing board and served breakfast. I would stay here again.

This motol sucks because they there Wi-Fi connection does not work.

Stayed next door and this place being beside our hotel made our stay less enjoyable. Could see the people, rooms and it reminded me of the hotel from the show My name is Earl. Would be horrified if booked it on line and showed up to that.

Good experience, paid $124 for an oceanfront view on short notice. Really nice rooms and bathrooms very pleased! Don't let all the negative reviews fool you.

I usually do not post reviews about hotels, but for the situation that I dealt with at this motel I feel its a MUST so no one else encounters the awful customer service that we received. We drove 3.5 hours and at check-in we were told that we must pay an additional "Memorial Day" fee mind you its April. We paid for our room online using Orbitz and were confirmed a double queen bed for two nights stay. At check-in we were told that we must stay in a one full bed room which was NOT acceptable nor what we paid for. At this point after the receptionist was rude and racist we just decided to ask for a refund, she gave us a hard time and was very unprofessional! No name tag or any customer service experience she refused to give us the managers information, This woman was very rude and belligerent towards me and my friends. She called the police and forced us of off the property with NO refund. We had to find another hotel and thankfully it was less expensive and more pleasant. Although the first nights stay was an inconvenience to us having to spend more money on another hotel and we didn't find one until late that evening, talk about a ruined weekend. Orbitz and The Blu Atlantic has been very unprofessional in this situation and we have heard nothing back from neither parties about refunding our $215 for a room we did not stay in.

Hotel was okay for its price. But the shock came later to my home. My dog was filled with fleas. I had to spend $300 for the fleas and Vet suggested the dog to be away from home for 3 weeks since my home is full of fleas. Since fleas are parasite, it needs some blood, so it sucks my blood. Preventive measure take all my time and I am not able to win fleas yet. When I keep my leg down, I can see my ankle is covered with flea. It is gross, unhealthy. never stay in this hotel even they give you free.

NO ELEVATOR SERVICE! Room was nicer than hotel itself. Walls are paper thin. Hotel looks like it's being renovated. Pools small and not clean.

Staff is uninformed about policys of the motel, they allow weekly rentals if you want to pay almost $400.00 a week but your not allowed to have any kind of pets here. What a sad little place.

This motel is nasty. Do not stay here!. We arrival in myrtle beach about 4pm. We had reservations at sea dip. But it was so bad, Cam was the leaser of two evils. The deskclerks was nice. But that was all that was good about it. We had two rooms on first floor. 106-108 the showers did not work, no toliet paper. You only get two towels two wash cloth. Now the towels were clean, when we ask for more they acted like it was a crime. We toke our beach towels. We had to use than for bathing. There was mold in the rooms, the rooms had not been vac or dusted. I went and got cleaning supply the first night and clean both rooms. Mold was so bad on lamp shades we toke than off and put outside. The people that work there was different everyday, I think most where from a jail program one had a ankle bracklet on. I left a small cooler in fridge, I call back ten times to have than send it. I got a answer one time she said am busy call back. I am still trying at this time. We paid 450.00 per room for 4 days. We look at about ten motels 4had bed bugs 6were out of our budget. Cam did not have bugs. That was a good thing. We toke turns watching our cars at night. We never felt safe. They have underground parking, which is good. But its full of trash. I had stay there when it was Beachside it was a nice clean motel. We had only allow so much money for our rooms. But for a hundred ten a night this motel was not worth it. So if you have the money stay some where else.
