Very nice for the price. I will be staying here again. They could use more staff in the restaurant. Two people are not enough, you shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes for a $15.00 burger. The staff that was there did a great job even though they were busy. Thanks ladies for a great meal!

We had a terrible experience here. First, our room was not ready when they said it would be so we had to wait in the lobby with about three other families. The clerk at the front could not give us an estimated time when it would be ready. Second, our TV and internet were not working. Third, I accidentally left a very expensive piece of jewelry on the nightstand while leaving. I realized this within 5 minutes of leaving our room and sent my boyfriend back to the room to get it. When he arrived in the room, the maids were already in there cleaning it. The ring was not on the nightstand or on the ground near the nightstand. My boyfriend asked the maid about the ring and they said they would have to call the supervisor and that he should look in the bathroom. He went to check in the bathroom and it was not there either. When he returned, the ring was on the nightstand sitting in plain sight… I would not recommend this this hotel to anyone and we will not be returning.

Nice place. Just wish the beds were a little bit softer. … firm mattresses with only a small padding.

It was not a pleasant experience. There was food on my floor, the shower only half worked and the second light in the bathroom was out. However, the clerk Khalilah was very pleasant and engaging.

Stayed in a King room and had a great time. Staff and facility were very accommodating, They did not have free continental breakfast nor in-room microwaves or mini-fridges.

Hotel is tired. Had to move room three times due to ongoing "work" that no one knew about. Breakfast buffet the usual. Dry eggs, cold extras, good bacon. Stick to the fresh fruit and yogurt.

Enjoyed our over night stay in Charleston. Loved that the hotel was walking distance from a lot of things. The waterfront park and pier are just down the street. Wish they had a bigger fitness room.

I wasn't impressed. Smokers sitting everywhere outside even though it says 100% non smoking property. Ashtrays smelled so stinky in the humid air. Cigarette butts and smokers at the pool! Nah! Not even a microwave in the room. The ad looks like it does but it's only in the suites $$$$! No breakfast except if u pay. Coffee in the rooms, no cream. Coffee in the lobby taken up at 10 a. M. Very few towels in the room. When you know a family is staying, stock it up! There's enough room near the elevators to have coffee and at least ready made muffins and fruit on each floor. It would make guests feel cared for and a little pampered. There's a lot lacking here. We liked the Holiday Inn Express better. We actually thought we were registered there, not sure what happened.

Location — 4 Service — 2 Rooms — 3 Cleanliness — 2 The only positive thing to say about this hotel is that it is conveniently located. Other than that, it is really just a place to sleep at night. While not filthy it was far from being nice and clean. The room had a musty smell to it. The staff wasn't rude but they also were not welcoming or friendly. We stayed here as part of the blue green vacation package, it really doesn't make you all that excited about the experience. That being said, if you are just looking for a cheap way to stay in Charleston and have a safe place to stay this will fit the bill, just don't expect to be impressed.

We stayed at this above average hotel for my cousin's wedding. The room was clean. It had plenty of amenities to make me happy. I'm giving four stars because I'm used to having USB ports available on the lamp on the nightstands when I travel. So, they could use a bit of updating. Breakfast was tasty — the bar staff was phenomenal — front desk was helpful and friendly. Solid four stars.

Was a decent stay. The location was close to downtown Charleston, about 10 minutes away. The food around the area was also good. Rooms were clean and the service was good, but no mini fridge or microwave in the rooms unfortunately.

My daughter wanted to spend her senior week with me (mom) instead of her friends. We decided on staying at this location based on several reasons. We were so excited as this was a first Mom/daughter trip ever! Upon arrival the toilet wouldn't flush. Maintenance came to repair immediately however, there seems to be a plumbing issue. Also experienced a sewage smell occasionally in the bathroom. The next day we were getting ready to head for our dinner reservation when the hair dryer went out. It wouldn't work at all. Another issue was the AC. We had to turn it down to 61 to get it cool. That room has some issues and all that management could say was thanks for the information. Ha! Oh and the TV remote buttons don't work well. You have to press the button like 5x to get it to change. On a positive note… breakfast was great!

After a long day on the road, Danielle at the front counter was awesome! Met us with a smile and kept us laughing through check-in. Stayed here several times, always great!

Staff was very nice and helpful. First room smelled. They gave us a different one right away and it was good. Room was clean bed was good air con. Was ice cold pool was good. I really can not say anything bad about them. It was a good experience and staff were friendly.

Very Clean Inn, did a park and cruise. Staff was great. Breakfast was really nice.

Room had an odor. Towel in bathroom had a suspicious 'stain' on it and the handle on the inside of door to room came off in my sons hand. All of this for the SMALL price of $202. Also, they did not offer a veterans discount. Across from Patriots Point.

I had an issue as when I booked my room I was told it includes free breakfast. When I got here I was told that it does not. Looking up on the net I found rates less that what I was paying that includes breakfast. The next morning I spoke to a different person an even after telling her what I had found she refused to accommodate. In my book thats a deal breaker. As far as the room its ok has and old smell to it and the elevators smell like a mechanics tool book. Too many hotels around here to every come back to this one.

Ehhh. Go somewhere else if you can. All the hotels are expensive but I'll gladly pay a few more dollars for a better stay. Rooms were musky. Stuff wasn't that great. Hair and stains in bed, never changed sheets as they said they would. Had to fight to talk to a manager. It's not hard to be nice. It is however is a convenient location.

Clean room. Staff was great except one incident with a particular breakfast waitress. Gratefully, the front desk went above and beyond to rectify her unprofessional manner. Would very much return. Too cold to swim but pool area is clean and well kept.

Place smells musty, room wasn't the cleanest, beds hard as concrete, nighttime front desk staff rude. And by the way enjoy waking up to construction outside your room. We won't be back.

I am getting ready to check out of the hotel after staying for the past 2 nights and I have to say that I am quite impressed with the staff. The front desk team was extremely friendly and always offered a smile upon each arrival and departure. They were quick to get items to my room when requested and the cleaning crew was always busy. I had an opportunity to enjoy a complimentary beverage in their bar where the bartender was social and made certain to engage each one of her patrons. The room that I stayed in was a standard king room but it was clean and comfortable. I would certainly recommend this hotel for other guests.

Very dirty rooms. Moldy smell and A/C didn't work. I left a pair of slacks and a shirt in the closet and they told me that they would mail them to me and they never did. I have left COUNTLESS messages for the manager to call me back. He never has. This has been almost 4 months now. Do not stat at the holiday inn at mount pleasant, sc. You will regret it.

Booked through expedia unpublished deals. Great price for a beautiful hotel. Close to beaches restaurants and attractions. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Kids loved it. Helpful staff.

Disappointed. The first room I was given was filthy. The floor was dirty and there was trash under the TV stand that included a moldy baby bottle that had obviously been there for a long long time. I was moved to a different room and it was a little better. I also had to spend the next 3 days on the phone with the hotel to straighten out the bill that they admitted was there mistake.
