All staff was so nice. Very helpful. Room was extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Animals friendly, spacious, hot breakfast, great locations.

A+++ the family and I absolutely love holiday inn express it’s the only place we stay at.

So far everything is smooth I asked the front dest lady for some extra pillows she brought it with a smile. Ofcourse the breakfast is top of the line in Holiday inn.

Stayed of one night on the way home from vacation. My entire family (12) got bed bugs from there rooms 421&419

Right from Check in the Holiday Inn Express at Blythewood failed to impress in so many ways. I was not acknowledged for being a Platinum member. No offer on a drink or points. I later brought this up with the person at Reception and he had no concept of what this welcome offer was. In fact he asked me if I would like to redeem some of my points for a drink?!?!?!? I told him that he had it all backwards and needs to brush on how to check in an IHG guest. The room was OK and fairly well appointed. Electrical outlets and USB’s in all the logical spots. The bed was comfortable. One major complaint is that the AC/Heating unit is right next to the desk in the room. So if you wish to sit there and work for any extended period of time, you have the darn thing blowing right on you. Very uncomfortable indeed! There is a Microwave, small Fridge and a Coffee maker in the room. All good. Bathroom is spacious and adequate with a decent set of amenities. Bathroom mirror does not fog up after a 5-10 minute shower which is a plus. If I lay a towel on the bathroom floor (who doesn’t? ) and open the door it crumples up the towel. Poor, poor design! Common! This is not rocket science. My room was not cleaned and no I did not leave the ‘do not disturb’ sign on my door and forget about it. The bathroom was as I left it in the morning, wet towel hanging on the hook and towel on the floor not being replaced. The bath amenities were not replaced either.

Very quiet room. Stayed top floor. This location is under renovation. Breakfast was above average for HDX property. I had to wait 10 minutes at check-in. Nobody was at front desk. Had to change rooms after check-in. First room was filthy and had broken door latch.

Under renovation now but much completed. Tucked into a cove surrounded by woods and fence blocking view of nearby buildings… Nice. Grocery store, several gas, fast-food and a small mall within 1 — 2 miles.

Courteous staff. Renovations in progress. Convenient to interstate. Mexican restaurant next door is muy sabroso.

Off the road a bit. A nice secluded location. Friendly staff and nice accommodations.

This is a great location. The 4 stars is for the reconstruction going on. But other than that we were happy with this hotel.

Super cute Holiday Inn. I have never seen one like this one. The breakfast was yummy also. It was a "hot" breakfast.

Stayed here for a night and it was great! The gentleman at the front desk was very professional! The room was clean and I slept like a baby!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the area well and were kind. The actual hotel was clean all around the rooms were nice and the bed was comfy.

Friendly lobby staff. Few small stains on the sheets, few stains on the walls. Dusty in the room. Pool was closed kids very disappointed. Currently under construction, but didn't bother us. Window all foggy, won't stay again. Nice access to 77. Nice small town.

Great place. Very clean. Water pressure in the shower was weak though.

Room was really nice. Breakfast was not good. Orange juice was watered down alot, NO CINNAMON ROLLS! Only turkey sausage (yuck).

Rooms are very poorly maintained. Front desk staff was very rude. Coffee was cold. I spend 200 nights a year in hotel rooms and 90% of those nights are in holiday inns, this one is by far the worst I've stayed in.

Great rooms, good internet. There isn't much to do or eat in the area. I definitely suggest this as a person passing through however, not a tourist destination.

Based on our experiences with other Holiday Inn Express locations, we chose this place. We were not disappointed. The breakfast selections were plentiful, the room was comfortable and the gentleman at the front desk, James, was friendly and helpful. All reasons why we would definitely stay at this location in the future.

Hotel was nice. The shower head is short for anyone over 5' 7".

Pretty nice rooms for a decent price. Were a few ladybugs hanging about, but they didn't really bother me. The fitness room was pretty bad. There were only two machines and the treadmill didn't seem to work.

Nice clean facility, hot breakfast and bed was great so was the stagf.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The staff seems to be very friendly and helpful.

Hotel lobby was clean, staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, and my room was everything I needed it to be. Had an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend to others.

The place has not been cleaned very well at all. To expensive for the little room. The mattress is old and worn out. The mini pull out couch is a joke. The bathroom looks like its the only thing that's cleaned. The air conditioner puts out a bad smell. You can hear every toilet flush on that floor. The staff seems nice.

I would just like to say many thanks to Manager Terrance Langley and his complete staff at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at 120 Blythewood Columbia SC. You guys were Awesome! From the moment my daughter and I walked through your doors we were greeted with your welcoming smiles. Even through the frustration of the evacuation process due to Hurricane Irmma, you and your staff were calm, friendly and very attentive to all our needs as well as your other guest! Our hats go off to you all and many, many thanks for your warm and gracious hospitality! (Housekeeping,. Keep up the Job! ) You will definitely be one of our places to lay our heads whenever we're in your neighborhood! So do stop by and check them out. The beds are so comfortable and the Hotel overall is Pleasant and Clean! Thanks again Mr. Langley, You made an unpleasant moment very relaxing! The Randles.

I would like to applaud the entire staff for the wonderful job accommodating all the evacuees! They were very attentive and polite. Thank you for making this experience manageable.

This hotel was so accomadationing to the evacuees of hurricane Irma! They provided a full breakfast free every morning & aloud everyone's pets to come also! 10 star staff here as well! If we have to relocate after all this we think were going to stay in South Carolina! A bit cold though compared to Florida! We're freezing! Lol.

Hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff has been extremely helpful and nice. Complementary breakfast has variety and is tasty. Had the room for 2 nights for the solar eclipse. Wifi worked great. Hotel is in walkimg distance to a couple restaurants.

Offers the best breakfast choices from biscuits and gravy and eggs and bacon to pancakes or even lighter food choices such as fruits and cereals. Plus plenty of smoking areas for those who smoke. Staff very helpful.

It's a great place & very accommodating seeing as we had to book the room at 10pm but the shower in the bathroom is broken in a few different ways so I ended up with water all over the floor & the mini fridge had water pouring out of it when we first got here but other than that it's great. Mostly quiet & the bed is comfy & pillows are nice.

Stayed here 1 night on our way to Florida. Extremely nice employees, clean room, great complimentary breakfast. Would stay here again.

Stayed at the Blythewood SC HIE on Aug. 6th 2016. My room was filthy. Dead bugs everywhere, cobwebs that have been there for a very long time, the head board had never been dusted, food all over the floor, thick dust everywhere. The carpet was fraying were it met the foyer tile. This was the worst HIE I have ever stayed at. I will never stay here again. The pool was closed as I over heard the front desk clerk telling someone on the phone that it was the weekend and they didn't have anyone to clean it or check the chemicals… WOW, they don't seem to care about their customers, and it would seem if you are a IHG rewards member you get the worst rooms. HIE is letting their properties go down the drain, they are becoming "seedy" motels. Poor management, poor customer service, poor maintenance… Don't stay here… move on…

Not many resteraunts around but a very quiet night.

The hotel is nice and the rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was also served.

Pool "closed" beginning of May, also the staff never told us pool was closed when we first checked in. However it was not locked and let us hang out by the area. Terrible customer service from the manager and very rude. Called the cops on us and we are here for a wedding from out of town and told us to leave the area. Never will I come back here.

Stayed here back in 2013. Very friendly and the customer service was great. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Price was not to bad either.

Hotel is nice but service was terrible. It would take 8000 characters to describe how bad this stay was. Just save your time and money and pick another HIE.

The hotel had a musty smell, was incredibly noisy and was in need of a number of updates/repairs.

Hotel was quiet and in a perfect location.

Room was nice. Desk and other staff met were friendly. Everything about the hotel itself was fine. Be aware that businesses in the area close early, though, so after a long day of driving, there was no dinner, as even most nearby fast food was out for the night.

What an awesome hotel. Recently renovated. The rooms were fantastic and spacious. The service was fast and the staff very courteous. Had a double room and it came with a living room. Flat screen TV's in both living room and bedroom. Coffee maker, refrigerator, and clean restrooms. The breakfast was hot and they had a wide selection of items. A great place, for a great price. I don't see how this is considered just a two-star hotel.
