Very Clean and comfortable rooms. Have stayed in 3 of the 4 buildings and have had no complaints. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent.

Everything about this place is quality. The rooms, the staff, the landscaping, the spa, the pool house……all amazing. We came to escape for a couple days and this place was a welcome oasis. Do yourself a favor…. If you ever have time to go to the Poconos, book this place. You will not regret it!

We have been going to the French manor for over ten years. We enjoy every trip for many reasons but chief among them would be the relaxing laid back atmosphere. This is a place to go and relax, food is top notch and the spa, while small, is fantastic. We look forward to going a couple times throughout the year.

Had my wedding there a week ago. Views were beautiful, staff was very helpful and pleasant. Food was delicious. We couldn’t pick any better place for our special day. Awesome place.

Pocono Honeymoon was a smashing success. Full of relaxation and romance. The French Manor deserves a 5 out of 5 star rating. Highly recommend French Manor. Had a fabulous girls getaway at this inn. The staff are the best, the spa gives top notch service, the facilities are very clean, the pool and hot tub area are very relaxing, the rooms are perfect and stocked with comfy seating, fireplace, spacious, extra treats with serene views. The food was deliciously magnificent and the tea time included awesome homemade cookies. Simply an amazing Inn.

Staff was spectacular! Made my wife's B-Day the best and made her feel like she had been taken rite back to the S. Of France. Food, spa and restaurant was FANastic! Very attentive, informative and payed attention to every detail. Made my wife feel special and she said, best. B-Day ever❣

Also near skiing and hiking. Massage was excellent with Shelby! The spa is lovely although a COVID scare closed most of it while we were there.

It was our first time here. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The place is stunningly beautiful, and although our room was not ready by 3pm (check-in time) the staff were very accommodating. Our only "complaint" would be that it took until 4:15pm for our room to be ready, which unfortunately made us rush to our 4:30pm spa appointment. The spa and massage were amazing! The pool/jacuzzi/sauna were the icing on top after an extremely relaxing massage. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open on Monday evening. Not a huge deal as we found another place to go but we were looking forward to a delicious meal. As a fellow culinarian, my days off are Mondays and Tuesdays so I completely understand, just a bit of a bummer. We stayed in the Jardin room which was stunningly beautiful and comfortable. The jacuzzi felt amazing but there was a very loud ear piercing noise when the jets were on. The breakfast! wow! The restaurant was gorgeous and staff friendly. The French toast was PERFECT. I loved that it wasn't overbearingly sweet. Coffee was devine. Mimosa was great. We left breakfast feeling very satisfied. Overall, 8/10. Will recommend! Thanks for a fun little get away!

My fiancé proposed to me on the walking trail at The French Manor Inn. This was the most luxurious, romantic, and relaxing place I’ve been. The food was excellent, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the spa services are soothing, and the location as a whole is a restful escape from the busy day to day. We absolutely loved our stay — start to finish. I highly recommend The French Manor Inn.

I loved everything at the spa but the food. Food was not worth the price. We ebded up eatung at some small, simple restaurant. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Couple massage was amazing. Everything else was beautiful.

My wife’s Dina’s 50th birthday pampering as celebrating was a great getaway very relaxing and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend the entire package. Worth the money. Tim.

First let me say the property is gorgeous and staff extremely attentive but there are some details being overlooked overall. I would not recommend the Turret room for your stay. It is located directly above the kitchens so 1. The smell is overwhelming at all times from either active cooking or lingering odors. 2. The two story accommodations are dated and extremely musty smelling due to what I believe is old carpet. Furniture in the turret room was not kept well. We arrived to crumbs on the couch, a cracked and peeling coffee table and outlets throughout so in need of repair that nothing would stay plugged in. Even the first floor of this Inn smelled very old, musty and unclean. We arrived late Thursday evening. Our meal at the Inn’s restaurant was nearly perfect and quite memorable. Sadly the strawberries on my cheesecake dessert were rancid. After my eggs Benedict breakfast on our first morning, within 1 hour I became severely ill. My entire day was spent in and out of bathrooms. This obviously put a major damper on our spa treatments, time in the pool, etc. I wasn’t even able to leave our room for dinner. Towards the end of the evening it became so bad my husband decided to report my illness so the staff could check the freshness of their inventory. Nothing was done. I can’t help but think that weekday food inventory is being stretched a bit too long towards the weekend and perhaps compromising freshness therefore causing my illness.

I proposed to my beautiful wife here. The place and food was great. Views amazing. I can’t wait for us to be able to go back.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we were blown away by French Manor. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. The massages we got were great. Our room was great! And the view was incredible! There was so much to do in the area it was very nice! We can’t wait to come back! This is the best place for a relaxing getaway!

We had Issac as our waiter he was fantastic, polite and knowledgeable. He gave excellent recommendations definitely has the feeling of a Michelin star restaurant t everything was delicious and the hostess was wonderful as well!

This place was so relaxing. The spa was awesome, Rebecca was an exceptional massage therapist. The breakfast and dinner were all delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away and relax. Our suite had a gorgeous views! Everyone was so nice and friendly.

My husband and I visited to celebrate our birthdays. We had bid on and won a package at a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser so first we are grateful for the generosity of the French Manor for the donation. We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa, a delicious dinner with exceptional service and gorgeous accommodations. We highly recommend the French Manor.

The staff was extreamly friendly and accommodating. The grounds and room were beautiful and clean. Excellent place to stay if your looking for an upscale 4 diamond stay. Would highly recommend. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. Worth every penny.

I wish I could rate each service separately. The Manor it's self was 5 star, the food was 5 star, the service was 5 star. However, a specific employee in the spa was not even deserving of a single star. We tipped her $20 on a $100 service and she had the nerve to say we made a mistake and UNDER tipped her and asked for more money. Needless to say I was so shocked that I gave her another $20 just to avoid a scene. Aside from that, we loved our visit. But, I wrote to the owners advising them if the situation. It's been a week and they haven't even bothered to reply to my email. Therefore, I will NOT be visiting again or recommending the resort. So sad…

A true hidden gem of the Poconos. This was an awesome place for relaxation, fine dining and romance. The Spa is superbly staffed and everyone at French Manor Inn is friendly and inviting. We will certainly be back in the future.

Millie and I just returned from our 7 or 8th stay at The French Manor. Living just 30 minutes away, this is one of Millie's and my favourite getaways. The area is delightful, the amenities relaxing, the food delicious and the staff is outstanding. We have a lakeside cabin in Vermont, a seven hour drive away; The French Manor is the next best option to relax and fall in love again.

My husband and I have had dinner a few times previously, and we're disappointed with this visit. Our server was wonderful, however, for some reason the hostess also doubles as bartender. As a result we couldn't order a drink or wine until she had seated and greeted anyone arriving. She also strongly suggested we not consider sitting outside, as she was considering closing it because of extreme humidity. We did finally get our wine and spent sometime outside enjoying the wine and the view — along with about 20 others eating their dinner outside and it was a beautiful evening. The food was good, as is the food at many fine restaurants in the Poconos area. Our choosing the French Manor has been because of the elegant feel and service. Sorry this is no longer the case.

We have stayed at many places in the area over the years, this is definitely one of the nicer. Pleasant staff, huge private rooms, outstanding breakfast. It is remote enough to feel like we are getting away from it all, but within driving distance of many nice amenities. Our anniversary visit was special and we can't wait to visit again.

We stayed in a suite above the spa and it was wonderful! Modern, fireplace, and jacuzzi. I loved the spa swimming pool, and sauna. Breakfast every morning was delicious as well and we enjoyed eating outside. This is a quiet and lovely place in a beautiful location!

While the French Manor serves excellent food in a beautiful building with a picturesque setting, the service is far below the price point. I arrived at 7:15 for an 8:30 reservation and was only served one cocktail in that timeframe despite placing an order and following up multiple times. The second arrived directly before my 8:30 reservation. I asked the hostess if I could delay for 15 minutes to have the cocktail outside, and she initially refused. After pressing, she exasperatedly conceded that I could have 5 minutes. This made even less sense as the night went on, as I realized we were one of the last tables to be seated and they all apparently just wanted to get out and go home. The bartender was responsible for all of the tables at the restaurant (40) and made rounds at a glacial pace. My waiter, the hostess, and the bartender at various points came to my table and never once topped off our wine glasses, something you would expect from a $50 meal… let alone the $300+ I paid. At the end of the evening as I waited for my wife, the bartender was at the greeting podium and looked at me before saying "god tonight was so rough. " It was a textbook display of mediocre service at a palatial cost. Certainly worth looking elsewhere for a romantic evening.

Love this place. Got engaged here. Very couple oriented and clean. Room was exactly as shown in pics. The restaurant was lovely, having a live piano was a plus. The food for dinner was ok, wasn't crazy about the menu. Limited choices. Breakfast was top notch. The pool area and spa was great, spent my entire day there very relaxing. The roads to the inn was a bit spooky but once your there its beautiful scenery.

Excellent place to stay, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and exquisitely prepared. The room is perfect for any couple, with comfortable beds large bathroom and shower, and large jetted tub right next to the bed. The spa was great as well, we really enjoyed a great couples massage and talking with the spa personnel. We will be back!

A wonderful experience getting away for the weekend. The French Manor Inn staff and room were beautiful. Room was clean and fresh. Food was impeccable breakfast and dinner. I definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend or more.

Very nice and cozy rooms. The service is great. Spa and pool are well maintained. Breakfast is excellent. It’s a perfect vacation especially in winter. There is a nice hiking trail right next to the complex that is fun to walk in snow.

The dinning room is a site to behold of old world splender and charm… And the Service & Food are nothing shy of their 5-star rating! Be prepared to cough up a couple bucks as all of the pampering and full experience are well worth the price tag! Amazing… Truly Amazing!

This was a surprise birthday/anniversary gift for me and my wife to get away and it was a very interesting weekend! We stayed in spa room 3 very nice room other than the fireplace remote being broken so it was turned on manually and left on for the weekend we could not control the temp (they offered to change rooms but it would have been a down grade so we stayed in this room). Little cheese and cracker platter was very nice treat we liked the jam! We did dine for dinner here and this is where it got interesting. We don't normally have fancy dinners so this is all new from 5 courses to fancy water it was a fun experience. We did not care to much for the food not sure if we don't like fancy food or these are just bad but we tried the lamb it was dry and the viel seemed very tough. We did enjoy breakfast very much! The egg and croissant breakfast is very good and the French toast was great. Also tried the complementary "tea time" it was very good as well. We treated ourselves with a couples massage and both ladies were very nice and great at their massage! Everyone was very nice and welcoming! It was overall a great stay the views were beautiful! We would definitely recommend.

Have been there many times and am never let down. Ambience is gorgeous, warm country French look and feel and the menu is exquisite. Probably the most "haute cuisine" in the area, well worth the price and the stay is even lovelier. Definitely recommend!

We were married at the French Manor Oct 2015. We went back for our first anniversary and are going back for our 2nd. We love everything about the French manor to the service, the food, the people the spa. We can't say enough good things. Extremely relaxing and romantic environment.

My experience at The French Manor was great. The room was beautiful and clean The staff was friendly and very helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was very romantic. The food was is, French cuisine so if you like you will love it. If you have never tried then I think it will be a great experience. I stayed for 3days and enjoyed the spa. You might need to adventure outside the manor for extra activities. Yes I recommend and would go back again.

My husband and had dinner last night in the dining room of the French Manor. The cocktails and service were delightful. My wife has a severe allergy to onions and unfortunately for her,. All three choices she considered for her entree were onion based. Here's the problem. The chef was inflexible and would not alter his recipes. She ended uo selecting a lobster tail that was served plain and dry. For a high end and expensive restaurant here with a limited menu, we found this issue to be very disappointing. For example, she has had duck in much less expensive restaurants where chefs made easy, simple no onion sauces to replace the one on the menu. Love the atmosphere. Thumbs down to the chef!

While the view and concept are nice, the Espirit room stunk horribly of musty/mildew. I got a migraine 20 min into being in there. Didn't do the dining room as it's not my style (formal attire. ) I did do a hot stone massage, it was nice, didn't feel like I had a massage done after though. Also had the spa lunch, which I ate 2 bites of the turkey wrap, tossed it. Overpriced and didn't taste good, felt sick 20 minutes later. I'm pretty sure the lunch meat turkey was bad. I wasted $1000 on this place.

My husband and I just took a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle and stayed here. We had a wonderful experience. Things we really enjoyed include the spa area with salt water pool and sauna, which we used frequently. The amazing, beautiful views, and the peaceful and tranquil setting. Although we traveled elsewhere for dinner, the breakfasts on the terrace were delightful. The food was delicious! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A suggestion for our room is either ditch the small TV altogether, or get a larger one since it's blocking the views anyway. We didn't watch any TV because our plan was to be as detached from media as we could but that's just our suggestion. The cheese and crackers tray with Sherry was a nice touch and we saved ours for a night time snack. We would love to return someday and try another suite w a balcony the next time around. Thank you French Manor Inn for a wonderful weekend away to reconnect, relax and take a break from our busy lives.

Went during a holiday weekend. Was surprised by how nice everything was. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was great and the views were amazing. Will definitely be going back.

We stayed in the Geneva room. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting, but done up well. Everything was clean, soft, and sweet smelling. There isn't a lot to do in the immediate area but there's plenty in the surrounding area to fill a few days. The food was amazing. I wouldn't mind coming back.

Relaxing, great stay. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast tasted amazing both days. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the view of the mountains. Everything was very homey. Very much enjoyed it. Great home away from home without the stress. Only thing I would suggest is that they served an affordable lunch in their restaurant as their isn't many places around to go. But overall the place was great. I Def would go back.

We enjoyed our stay far more several years ago. This time (granted it was the weekend before valentines day), the decor felt far less maintained. Our room had salt carried in from the outside, the pool and hot tub were nice to use but had a layer of silt/dirt on the bottom, the dinning service was forgetful; the food was still above average. We may return again…

Great accommodations. First night had the spa package which included vouchers for the spa which we had a couple's massage then relaxed by the jacuzzi and indoor pool. Breakfast was included both mornings. Dinner on the first night was great, I had the lamb special and my girlfriend had scallops. Both dishes delicious Only inssue was the dining room was a bit on the cold side. We were suppose to have a turn down service both evenings but it never happened. They did make it up to us at check out though. Our 3rd time at the French Manor, even with the minor issues I would go back and definitely recommend the B & B.

Amazing! We spent our last stop on our honeymoon here last year and it was exquisite! The staff was so warm and accommodating from the moment we walked in the charming front door, until the end of our stay after an awesome New Year's Eve party and brunch the following morning! The massages were great, too! LOVE this place! Can't wait to go again. 5★
