Clean rooms, well lit parking lot, pool is clean, good breakfast.

This hotel has great staff. The cookies and popcorn are delicious.

Great place, front desk very helpful. As were the rest of the staff.

Great place to stay loved the entire suite from the moment I walked in the door and the front desk person was very polite and professional will definitely come back when I am in this area.

This hotel is right off the highway so it’s very convenient, clean, nice restaurant, modern and priced right.

I had a wonderful stay and I wish I could stay another night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff professional and sweet. I hope to return someday. ~Hobbit the Trucker.

The service was nice and attentive and the location was clean. Nothing inherently wrong with the place, just not 10/10 quality.

In midst of update, to get it closer to the new Fairfield design now being built. Good colors, great bed, tub in king room replaced with modern shower. Inexplicably, they have neglected to provide power outlets anywhere near the bed or on top of desk area. This could have been easily done by getting new table lamps or wall mounts with plugs built in… like any other modern hotel.

Front desk staff was extra pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and well kept. Good location to a great local restaurant as well.

It's your traditional Fairfield with the included breakfasts and modern rooms. The hotel staff is very friendly and all greet you with a smile and hello. They are currently under renovations so the noise and construction starts earlish and ends in the evening. Prevented any type of napping but I appreciate seeing the hotel investing money into the place to keep it modern. Can't deduct a star for that!

One can expensive for quality/price.

Nice stay. Clean newer rooms. Breakfast was good. The only negative was their pool and hot tub were being repaired or renovated. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Was staying here for work. The room had no microwave and they front desk said they couldn't get me one. The freezer in the mini fridge didn't work and melted my ice cream.

Construction on 2 floors. All amenities closed. Attitudes running high. Woke to sounds of construction at 8am and housekeeping knocking at the door when DND sign was on the door.

The only issue on this visit was Hazelton, PA was treating the water so everything was rust colored. No fault of the hotel. The staff are very pleasant and room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door in very good.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this hotel. Be careful, they have a tendency of canceling your reservations with nothing more than an email (in the spam folder) leaving you stranded on a snowy night with no rooms left.

Very nice hotel with great accomodations. The rec room and pool is small, but you can still spend a reasonable amount of tine in each. There is a sauna room as well to relax in. Breakfast is also free every morning hicj is a great plus on people who wanna save money on food. Overall, it's a pleasant experience, especially for those who want to explore around the area.

We had an unexpected trip to Hazelton from Maryland due to a death in the family. Toni was awesome in accommodating us last minute. The rooms, breakfast and staff were awesome. Thanks!

The room was great, the people were nice. The problem is they had us on the first floor, at 6 am every Employee came through the side door and slammed it! then went through the hallway door and it slammed. Fun.

Very clean and fresh. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Excellent climate control system. Lots of power outlets. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. Excellent value.

Does what it says on the tin. It's a Fairfield Inn and matches their brand standard. You won't go wrong.

Rooms were very nice — had all the basics, and then some (although the Internet was a bit slow, and couldn't handle most videos). The fitness facility was also fine, and had pretty much what you would expect. The breakfast, however, not so much… Both mornings, we arrived well before the end (about an hour before, the first day), and yet the oatmeal was completely gone, and they weren't making any more. And the second morning, the yogurts were also completely gone, and the juices were both essentially just colored water. Also, although they did have coffee, they didn't provide hot chocolate — which, as someone who likes mocha, or when we have our kids with us, is always appreciated. All in all, rather disappointing!

Really enjoyed our stay! Our room was large, king size bed was super comfortable and breakfast selection was plentiful.

Last minute check in. Staff was courteous. The room was ok. It was large enough for us. My problem was the tub. The tub had dirt rings around it. The shower curtain was dirty and mildewed. I think they gave us the bottom tier in rooms.

I went for a wedding located nearby in wilkes-barre. It is a nice hotel with good service. Everything one would expect from a hotel is provided. The rooms are cozy and clean.

Hotel is very nice and the staff is wonderful! The rooms are great and has free breakfast. The ac unit however was slightly dirty but no issue for me. The bed is very comfortable and it's located near tons of stores, very convenient!

The hotel was very easy to get to from the interstate. Extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Room rates was very affordable. I am a pillow fanatic, and the pillows here are so big:) the room was a comfortable temp when we walked in. Fairfield uses Paul Mitchell products for toiletries. They have a hot breakfast that is really decent. Scrambled eggs, turkey and pork sausage, muffins, toast, bagels, danishes, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruits (strawberry and pineapple), chobani yogurts, and milk. It was really nice and how clean they kept up with the breakfast area. I would definitely stay at this particular one again.

We always stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites when we visit family in Hazleton. The staff is always friendly and curteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Only downside is paying for Wi-Fi. Thanks.

Front desk service was great. Fast check in and check out. Breakfast was good. Sausage gravy was excellent. Only downside was musty smell to room.

Stayed for one night with my wife. King bed room was nicely furnished, hotel staff was very polite and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked in after a long day of driving and there was a line of people waiting to check in around 10pm. The market had a lot of really good snack options and the business center looked really nice and organized even though we didn't need to use it. The woman at the front desk was very patient and friendly and prompt with each guest. We are Marriot Rewards Members and they had our name on a stand welcoming us, which was a nice touch. Upon entering our room it felt a little musty and damp but was easily fixed by turning on the fan in the air conditioner unit. The room just needed a little air circulation. But was otherwise clean and tidy and seemed recently updated, newer furniture, draperies, bedding, more modern looking. I have shoulder length light brown hair and we found one extremely long black hair laying right on top of the pillows, not tucked in or anything. Beleive me we checked the bed, But the sheets and pillowcases were clean and tidy, I'm assuming it was the maid's. The Free Breakfast was hot and plentiful, and was delicious. Check out was easy and we were back on the road in no time.

Stayed here one night while in town for a family reunion. Staff was friendly, my parents had arrived earlier and left our key with the front desk and it was no trouble at all giving my name and getting the key from them. Called very late in the night for a few extra pillows and had no trouble obtaining them.

Horrible experience. Our car broke down and we were forced to stay here until we could find a mechanic the next day. We were told the only available room was a suite — although the parking lot was mostly vacant — but we were offered a discount rate of $136. We had no choice, so we took it. When we entered the room, we thought it looked very nice, but we quickly realized everything was slightly damp. The air conditioner was on, but despite this all of the bedding and the carpeting were cold and clammy. Very unpleasant. But we had no other option because they claimed the hotel was full… even though it seemed as quiet as a ghost town. We left to have dinner nearby, and upon our return, we were informed we had been locked out of our room (with all of our belongings inside) because an employee had accidentally deleted our registration information. We were forced to re-register and let them swipe our credit card a second time. Only then could we go back to our room. The bed was memory foam, and far too soft for my bad back. So I was forced to use the pull-out sleep sofa, which was also terribly uncomfortable. So I had to pull the sofa mattress onto the floor, just to get some back support. Then, when putting the sheet on the sleep-bed mattress, we noticed a large urine stain on the mattress pad! It was not a new stain, but one does NOT expect to find something like that in an expensive suite at a relatively new, upscale motel.
