Review of La Quinta by Wyndham Mechanicsburg - Harrisburg 3*

I don't know where to start about this hotel so Ill start with the bad stuff. We stayed at the hotel on Friday, and Saturday. There were many unsavory individuals staying at this hotel. I believe they are living in the rooms. Saturday morning we went out the side door downstairs to our vehicle, and a black man was hiding back behind the bushes, talking to his self. (weird) he then moved out of the bushes, and ended up at the continental breakfast area. I don't even think he was staying at the hotel he was just homeless and drug addicted and was there to eat. Someone also had the side door jammed so ANYONE could enter that door and get in the hotel without a room key… To make matters worse, Saturday night we realized the room across from us was dealing out drugs all night long, there was someone knocking on that door all night long, we overheard one guy ask if he had any "rock" … so yeah that's what we dealt with all weekend, the black guy in the bushes hung outside the hotel all day and night, all weekend. I believe he was sleeping under the stairwell because there were blankets there. *WTF*… then we went down to get drinks from the vending machines by the front desk,. Apparently the front desk people don't mine drunks hanging out, there was a group of drunk people in the hall area that wouldn't move so we could get through, then got belligerent with us. REALLY!?! … There was way too much DRUG Action going on at this hotel… Now for the good part of the hotel : The rooms were clean, beds clean and comfortable. (thats about it). The continental breakfast was ehhh ok… The butter was empty. Nothing to cut bagels with, and no cream cheese… who has bagels with no cream cheese?!? lol and its hard to cut a bagel with a plastic knife… then you get to have breakfast with all the Rif Raf off the street living there. I guess you get what you pay for, it was 50.00 a night. OH Forgot to add,,,, the pop machines on EVERY floor were out of pop. The only machine with pop was by the front desk. ONLY ice machine is on the third floor… thats it. One ice machine.
