Pleasant staff, very clean room. An unexpected large room. All the rave about the showers is true! The water pressure is exceptional. Good value. I would definitely recommend.

For a budget hotel, very quiet and nice staff and THE BEST BREAKFAST at the restaurant next door.

Great for a 1-star hotel. Large rooms and beds, friendly staff, good prices, neat and basic. The restaurant next door was also affordable, basic and good. Only downside was that the lobby smells of cigarettes, although our non-smoking room was just fine, unlike our experience at other places.

As soon as I walked in the lobby it smelled like cigarettes. Our room and lobby also smell REALLY bad. The attendant upon arrival seemed unfriendly and when asking how many pillows were on the beds, she didn't know & seemed rude when I asked for extra towels and an additional pillow. If it were earlier in the day, I would not be staying here and finding another place overnight. Beds are hard, blankets and pillows had that awful smell to them. I had to bang on the wall at 7:30 in the morning to let the guy next to us know his music was too loud and you could hear him loudly speaking plain as day. What an awful experience, I wish I could get my money back!

Rooms are clean comfortable and cozy, it's a bit old fashioned but our family loves that! Friendly front desk attendant. We would definitely stay here again!

So my family travels up to the Bloomsburg area of Pennsylvania each year on Labour Day for the usual family reunion we attend. Until about three years ago, we had been staying at this Inn, and decided to give it a try after the room rate we usually had reserved went up. The hotel hasn't changed one bit, other than by who owns it. The place was previously an all smoking hotel, and still has rooms that allow it. The problem with this is that no matter what you do, you cannot get rid of or mask the potent, lingering smell of cigarette smoke. To simply put it, only stay here if you either have no other options, or are too cheap for something decent. I would give this a single star, but the staff is pretty friendly and responsive.

Had a great stay. The staff was wonderful, the rooms and building was very clean and nice. Free Wi-fi and plenty of hot coffee, hot water and tea along with fruit flavored cold water in the lobby. Great price and discounts in Knoebels Park. Mini fridge in the rooms and microwaves in the lobby. Recommend highly.

My husband I stayed here and LOVED it! Although it was only overnight, it was great. The hotel itself was neat, clean and had a cozy feeling about it. The staff was friendly, immensely helpful, and best of all my bed was the only one since we left home a week ago that didn't make me stiff or sore. Thank you so much, we will be back!

We stayed here one night, and thought it was an EXCELLENT place to stay. The room was spotless, and I mean spotless! For my family, hotel room cleanliness is a big factor in choosing to stay in the same place again when we are in the area, and we would definitely stay here again. The towels were fresh, beds were very clean. When we arrived, I walked through the attached hallway and into the restaurant for a cup of coffee, which was very convenient. Maid was very friendly and offered us extra towels. Only complaint from my Husband and I were the beds… mattress was on the firm side, and was not very comfortable. I have herniated disc/neck issues, and this made for a night of tossing and turning. I always bring my own pillow, so not sure if they were comfy or not. Overall, besides the uncomfortable mattress, this place deserves 5 stars and the Housekeeping staff is doing an incredible job. Thank you Budget Host!

Economical, clean and family friendly.

When we arrived at the hotel after a 3 & a half hour car ride I asked if there was the restroom that my grandchildren could use and was told that there were no rooms available yet. I had two young kids with me who needed to use the restroom and the staff was not very helpful at all. When we got into the room the carpet was filthy. We were told if we wanted soap and shampoo we needed to ask for it at the desk, same for the hair dryer. The pillows were old and flat so we asked for Xtra pillows. You would think we asked for their first born. They gave us 2 pillows and said they didn't have any more! The tiny bar of soap was all they gave us for 4 people. The shampoo came in a squeeze tube like ketchup comes in. We were there for 2 nights and upon returning from the amusement park each day we found they shut the ACADEMY off. Even though we were in the middle of a major heat wave! The water in the tub didn't drain very well. The attached restaurant was supposed to be open from 7am to 7pm. When we returned for dinner at 5pm it was CLOSED. All in all a terrible place to stay.

I heard the desk attendants talking about sex and playing loud music in back room. I left and went to stay at another hotel after that.

Beds are comfy but bring your own pillow. Restaurant attached to the hotel but don't offer breakfast free but at a charge. Old style key rooms not cards. Homey look and feel.

Super clean. Excellent for this price. Well done service. I would definitely stop by anytime I'm on I80, it's so convenient.

One Star? Stumbled on this place Just stayed at several 4 and 5 star resorts. FOR THE MONEY THIS WAS OUTSTANDING CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, FRIENDLY only criticism was wasted was bed bit don't for my taste.

I've stayed here many times and I've always had excellent service. The rooms are clean and the staff is very accommodating.

Excellent for the price. Very reasonable and clean place to sleep. Nice bed. We arrived after midnight and Donald set a crib up for us before we got there for the easy transfer of our son from the car.
