I was looking for a place to surprise my wife and daughter with a small vacation. I decided on Lancaster and found the Fulton steamboat inn. It was a great decision to stay there. friendly staff, easy check-in, the overall decor and feel of the hotel is amazing. Nice gift shop, the restaurant was decent with great staff. Extremely clean hotel. The pool and hot tub area was clean and decent size. the only negatives are not major ones. A couple games in the small game room didn't work. And huckleberry restaurant was closed one day. Not a scheduled day to be closed. Those are small negatives overall a great place to stay for a nice vacation.

Absolutely recommend! My husband, myself, and our two boys stayed one night for my son’s 5th birthday. We went to Hersheypark two days. I’m disappointed we didn’t have more time at the Steamboat Inn to enjoy all the amenities because there’s so much more to do than I realized! — They have the BIGGEST playground for the kids — a huge pirate ship and train! — We toured the pond, and my kids loved all the ducks that were hanging around. The night before, the staff had the fire pit going and it was so lovely sitting by the pond. — The night we arrived, we ate at Huckleberry’s Tavern and it was a phenomenal meal! Some of the best salmon I’ve had! My husband loved the French Onion soup. And we received 10% off since we stayed at the Inn. — The martinis were excellent! — Upon checking in, we got a voucher for 4 chocolate chip cookies 🍪 — The room was very clean! The boys loved the bunk beds! Also, we appreciate the smart TV and having Disney+ in the rooms (Also have Netflix and a bunch of other streaming services). — They have the most heavily smelling toiletries. Rosemary Mint by Aveda. I told my husband “these products aren’t cheap! ” I never use hotel shampoo and conditioner because they are always the basic lower quality stuff, but I was super excited to use these! — The pool and hot tub are wonderful! The hot tub is spacious and bubbly! The pool was very warm and my kids enjoyed the painted koi fish on the bottom. We played in there for well over an hour.

Clean, friendly, beautiful, quiet and food is delicious.

We ate at Huckleberrys! The food was delicious. Our server Zach was awesome! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay here on Thanksgiving! The rooms were clean, the lobby was so pretty. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The tavern had a very nice atmosphere for drinks. Your staff was so friendly, and the chocolate chip cookies were amazing! Can't wait to visit again!

Staying at the Fulton is always a great experience. Staff is wonderful, rooms are always clean and if you need anything they are quick to help. Can’t wait to go back!

First the great:
Very clean, great location, outdoor amenities were great, hotel staff very friendly cookies were phenomenal.
The not so good:
Really thought we were staying on a steamboat per the website that was disappointing
Could use more storage for clothes like a dresser especially family of 4, bathroom door was very difficult to close, was under impression by the website there was an outside inside pool. 😪. The breakfast was horrible first ones in and took forever for our food which scrabble eggs were cold and our waitress was very condensending and rude (so disappointing).
The same music throughout the hotel for 3 days were rough.

I just spent my first weekend at the Inn. Great place. Family friendly, clean, spells pretty, and just a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was very friendly even though they are short staff during COVID, the staff did an excellent job.

Love, love, love this place. Very clean, very classy. Will definitely return. High recommended.

This is a beautiful hotel with great historical value to enthusiasts. Although we are dealing with COVID and there is no housekeeping or breakfast, there was absolutely no price break on the 180.00 dollar per night price tag. Although worth the experience.

My Family arrived today. We are staying in a King Bunk room. Very spacious. Clean hotel with beautiful Christmas decorations throughout. Nice gift shop. Also perfect location. We will definitely return.

Always wanted to check this place out… even when I was a kid… so glad we finally did. Kids and I had a fantastic time. Can't wait to come back. Everyone was so pleasant.

Beautiful place to eat would highly recommend it the staff is excellent especially Dustin at the Bar and Brianna at the front desk.

He's a great place decorated neatly bring your mind back in the time I love it we highly recommended.

4:5 Star Visit! Beautiful and clean facility, very comfortable accommodations, check-in attendant was lovely. Missed the mark at check-out when that attendant uttered 1 simple word to me when I left… “copy”. After spending $340, I’d have expected a “how was your stay” and “thank you” as opposed to a 1-word interaction. That customer appreciation and kindness goes to a 5 star facility which this sadly was not.

Had an amazing dinner and met Chef Paula. What an extraordinarily gracious and amazing lady. She knew we were on our honeymoon and visited with us, treated us to dessert and just gave us an overall wonderful experience. Would recommend to anyone going through Lansing Pa to go there.

We stayed two nights with our 3 young children and we absolutely loved it! Very clean, comfortable; kids loved the pool, outdoor play area and the duck pond. We will definitely be back!

Family friendly hotel in a great location just outside Lancaster. The children’s play area is fantastic. The hotel is very clean both in the rooms and in the communal areas. We stayed here for our 1st anniversary and are staying again this week for our 10th anniversary. The hotel was fantastic for our first stay and has not disappointed 9 years on.

We just got back from our stay with our two small children and everything was fantastic! The room was beautiful and immaculate and the restaurant was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great chocolate chip cookies in the lobby every day. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!

I enjoyed my visit. First check on was very fast with a friendly check in. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The outside had ducks snd fishes to feed. My granddaughter is five and enjoyed thst. The children's playground is big and clean. There's a pit fire where you can roast marshmallows and make Smores. The waitress and the tavern was extremely exceptional. The swimming pool and hot tub was great. Only thing no bubbles they tried to fix it. Five stars.

Exceptional service by a caring knowledgeable staff. Huckleberry Restaurant was 4 star service, delectable choices and delicious food. Our server, Johnathan was most helpful and knew enough about all the dishes. Rooms and ambience were clean and delightful. A perfect choice for a Girls Night Out!

We have been coming to the Fulton Steamboat Inn for several years. This is our all time favorite hotel. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. All areas are clean and well taken care of. Everything is spot on. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious.

Absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve been vacationing here for over 20 years and as a kid we used to pass the hotel and beg to stay there. Now that I have kids of my own, we continue to come once a year except now we stay here! My kids love it, I love it, my husband loves it! It really makes our whole trip!

We have been staying at the Fulton Steam Boat Inn every year for the past 8 years. It is always clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They always have coffee out in the morning and lemonade and cookies during the day. They have a restaurant and bar on site. The food and drinks are good! The pond outside is beautiful and you can feed the fish and ducks. The park outside is perfect for the kids!

Nice comfortable hotel! Loved the unique design, and all the things to do on property. Kids playground was fun, we enjoyed feeding the ducks and fish. If you need a pack and play take your own, we had mentioned we needed one when we made the reservation even called to confirm. When we arrived they didn't have one for us. Sleeping with a toddler in the middle of the queen bed was not very comfortable. Also my kids never got the kids hat for their free ice cream which was disappointing after spending 100.00 for dinner. Just a few things but overall a nice place.

Fantastic atmosphere! I only stayed one day, so I didn't see much of the staff besides the front desk, as I didn't eat in the hotel. My room was really neat, with a ceiling fan and everything! I would defiantly stay again! The pool was small, but still nice.

Amazing place to eat. We had breakfast here. Staff is friendly and we got a table right away. Its a little on the same side but you feel like your in the dining room of a boat. I had a Hawaiian Mimosa to start. Amazing. I had the omelet with the meat and cheese. Fresh eggs and very flavorful. Arien had the children's pancakes which were nice and fluffy. My fiancee had an omelet as well. The price was right and the coffee was very good. You should check this place out. I think I would like to stay here next time.

Excellent, clean, newly renovated feel, with great restaurant on premises. Excellent staff. Nice outside ambience with firepit, magical firefly and moonlit farm views, lake, fountains, moat with koi fish and ducks surround hotel, outstanding landscaping. Nice large play ground on property for kids. Building itself is beautiful and kitschy in all the right ways, light and low ragtime music playing in background throughout building and edwarsian decor and art makes you feel like you’ve traveled back in time. Looks just like an 1890s steam ship. Spacious rooms, gym facility, roof top area for tanning, game room for kids, indoor pool. Location is excellent and close to everything Lancaster has to offer. Charming, we will definitely stay again.

This is my Mother, myself and my children’s 3rd time staying here on our way to and from upstate NY. We love this Inn! We love the restaurant and the atmosphere! The kids enjoy playing on the playground and feeding the Ducks & Fish! Really a one stop shop! Also close to the Dutch Haven! My mother, my children & myself love this Inn & it has become our stop over point on the way to visit family in Corning, NY!

The place is CLEAN. Our room was spotless. Service excellent.? we will always stay there. Close to Sight and Sound Theater and Good and Plenty restaurant.

Stunning hotel. Very beautifully decorated. Great atmosphere. Loved the outdoor seating area with all the ducks walking around. It was lovely. The day shift staff was very friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their face. The night shift front desk man never smiled and often looked annoyed when I spoke to him like I was bothering him from whatever he was doing in the back. I called him for help with our room DVD player and he spoke to me as if I was unintelligent. The female bartender was great! She was funny and made us feel relaxed. I took a million pictures of this property it was that stunning. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great family fun. They sell little bags of food for the ducks and fish. The food in their restaurant is delicious! All staff were very nice and accommodating. Our room was clean and nicely decorated.

Lovely, theme hotel. Beautiful decorations from the time period. There is even water that you can see out the lobby window, that makes it look like you are in an actual steamboat in the water. There are koi fish in the water that you can see swimming by, when you look out the window. The hotel restaurant has amazing food and great service. The room was immaculately clean.

We stopped there for breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast. All four in our party was very pleased with our meal. We all said that we would come back next time. And the rooms were less than where we stayed and much nicer.

I enjoyed this place overall but not without a struggle. Our first room was adjacent to the stairwell and we heard the door close loudly every time the first night. They were very accommodating and helped us switch rooms the next day, but we ended up with a very loud AC unit. We told the front desk the next morning and they said they would have maintenance look at it. That night we got back and turned it on and noticed after a minute or two that it was still making a loud noise. If the weather were worse it would have been intolerable but we left it off both of the last nights. Otherwise it's a very nice hotel with a good restaurant and the pool was nice. It was very clean and up to date, and I might stay there again if the price is right.

Just checked in and while it’s a bit of a maze, so far so good. The rooms look as promised, service is friendly, and there are lots of amenities. I would say this is definitely one of the nicest hotels in the area based upon our drive in. My kids are loving the game room and really enjoyed the playground. The hotel is beautifully appointed with chandeliers and antique furniture. We had a nice dinner at the attached restaurant and I look forward to a comfortable nights sleep. There is fruit infused water and chocolate cookies available for free in the lobby and a cute little gift shop. I wish the gift shop had toiletries and such for purchase but the dollar tree is right across the street. I love the location and we got to drive around and see some Amish farms and farmers. Buggies can be seen traveling up and down the road. It’s located very close to the Sight and Sounds theater and the main strip lined with shops and outlet stores.

My family and I have stayed here many times on the sunset deck. This floor is definitely worth the extra money as it's an adult only floor. All the staff are super friendly, nice, caring, and considerate. The entire hotel is very clean. An added benefit is seeing all the ducks walking around the entire property and swimming in the ponds. Huckleberry's also has delicious food as well with a friendly staff.

This place is amazing. The decor is so beautiful. The room was elegant and we had plenty of room. The electric fireplace made the room so romantic. We really enjoyed the pool and spa. All the staff that we came in contact with were so friendly and courteous. We will definitely come back.

Just leaving now from a weekend gathering at the Fulton Steamboat Inn. We had a large group of 28 people make last minute reservations due to unforseen circumstances at the original hotel we were going stay at in Lancaster. The Fulton Steamboat accommodated us all with ease. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The entire hotel is decorated beautifully and smells really good. The indoor pool area is beautiful and the pool and hot tub are crystal clear. The restaurant is wonderful with an amazing family style breakfast. We will be going back at least twice a year and looking forward to it already!

Love this place. The rooms are clean, BIG and nicely decorated. This was our third stay with them and we will be going back. Our only "hiccup" was during check in so just double check your reservations. We reserved a King room and a Queen/Queen room. When we got there it was two Queen/Queen. Same price but not what we reserved. Alsowe paid for the family breakfast in the Hotel but they had no record of it when we arrived. Easy fix but just be cautious. The breakfast is WELL worth the extra cost. It is a family style all you can eat. Pancakes. French toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, home fries and muffins. Try it!
