We absolutely loved staying here! Gorgeous home and a very clean spacious room. Jyoti was so sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! If we have the opportunity, we will definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful and cozy! We only stay here for Penn State games, and always have a fantastic stay! The rooms are perfect! Jyoti, her family, and her staff are so friendly and helpful! We absolutely love them and will continue to come back. Breakfast every morning is delicious and wonderful, including fruit, eggs, toast, bacon, a seafood portion, and a few more great foods! Such a cute place!

I have been racking my brain in order to choose the highest praise for this B&B, and I believe "extremely accommodating" is apt. Richard and Jyoti were wonderful hosts. They were accommodating when I arrived beyond the check-in window, as well as for my vegan diet. They were also quite knowledgeable about the area and were very pleasant conversationalists. Regarding the B&B, it was a beautiful, eclectic scene. And most importantly, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and room was spacious — i. E. I felt like I had my own place to breathe and relax. I highly recommend this home if you are visiting the area for business or just passing through.

A historic house, which is well maintained and maintained with a lot of love. The hosts are very nice and the decor beautiful, old, opulent, rather the opposite of plain, generous and modern. Definitely worth seeing!

Very attentive and accommodating owners. Healthy and filling breakfast. Calm atmosphere. Beautiful inside and out including beautiful houses around it.

If you are looking for a 5 Star resort with modern conveniences, then this is not the place for you. The Allegheny Street B&B is a gorgeous 1850's home, with the charm of the era it was built. Richard was more than accommodating of our need for a room for three. The breakfasts were fantastic, the beds comfortable, and the downtown surroundings quiet and peaceful. If we were in the area again, we would have to consider this one of our top choices to stay at.

I feel so lucky to have found this B&B for our trip to see family! The owners are gracious and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a mix of antiquites and modern-but-made-to-look-older furnishings. The living room is large with seating to allow chatting with family, and includes a beautiful, wide window bench with gardens just outside to look at. There is a nice front porch, where we sat most evenings for a bit before bed. As others have said, the breakfasts are amazing — — generous and wonderful. Their steel cut oatmeal is creamy and wonderful, the second of ~4 courses. They also had yogurts, cereals, and granola out, but we were so full we couldn't eat another bite; we were wonderfully satiated every day. The B&B is quite but close (walking distance) to many restaurants, including The Dream (formerly Dave's Dream, a restaurant my family members went to in high school — — it was a drive-in back then), and a delicious, healthy, wonderful find, the Allegheny Crepes and Creamery, where we got wonderful salads and kid's grilled cheese with a side of fruit. This will be my first call for lodging if I make it back to this area to see family again!

Pleasant atmosphere beautiful clean house. Very big estate. Owners are very nice people and always accomadating your needs. Food is prepared very healthy and organic. I rate them a five cuz the excellence over all was very pleasing to me. If you book ur stay here you made very good choice. Mr. & Mrs Latker wonderful hospitality and thank you.

The most enchanting and wonderful place. Richard and Jyoti are incredibly warm and interesting hosts. Wish we were staying there longer.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The space was beautiful. The parking was easy. The floor might have been a little extra creaky when we walked around but, hey, it's an old building. Old buildings have character. The breakfast was delicious. The Wi-Fi was fast enough to quietly stream an HD movie on our laptop when our evening plans were cancelled.

The rooms and building itself are breathtakingly beautiful! However, if your not in the best health please know to access my room I had to carry all of my supplies and luggage up 5 flights of steps. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I'd definitely stay again but wouldn't pack so much. Also there are no TVS or radio or anything like that.

You cannot get a better deal anywhere around than this bread and breakfast. Great couple who runs it, would go again.

Stayed two nights in the zebra suite with our four kids (2 in the full bed, one on the couch, one in a Moses basket we brought). We were very comfortable, the rooms are beautiful, and Jyoti is a lovely hostess.
