Wanted to love it, but the customer service was just horrific.

Great service and wonderful staff.

We stayed the weekend and were completely surprised on how spacious and nice our room was. For five people, it was plenty big and had tons of pillows for everyone. The breakfast was awesome. It was buffet style with plenty of options. The indoor pool has to be one of largest ones we have seen at any hotel we have stayed at. We highly recommend staying here. It is close to Seven Springs, Living Treasures, Hidden Valley and more. Thanks Holiday Inn for making our weekend!

This was a great hotel! My daughter and I actually loved the stuffed animals, well more than just stuffed animals, it was interesting knowing what type of animal they were! The staff was friendly! Food was good! Pool was clean and a great hometown atmosphere! definite great place to stay!

Spacious and clean. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast was good (bacon nice and crispy).

Wedding Block Review:
The entrance to this hotel is rustic with the wood decor which was perfect for our before wedding pictures. We booked this hotel due to it's location to our church, venue and entrance to the turnpike. The reservations were easy to make and they even got us more rooms when we ran out before the deadline… but beyond that, I do not have much more positive to say. The air in the hotel was very humid and the carpets even felt damp. Their breakfast was nothing great and they ran out of a lot. Many rooms were not ready for the 3pm check-in time. We were one of three weddings staying in the hotel that weekend. Saturday evening, guests from all three weddings were hanging out in the breakfast area and the manager came to me (because I was in the white dress) and told me we had to be quiet because it was past 10pm. She was not the greatest to work with.

Most beautiful hotel chain I've every been in. Large rooms, high ceilings, great food, pool/ hot tub, atmosphere. Leather furniture. Check out my pictures.

Beautiful lobby and pool. Very clean hotel. Furniture in rooms is a bit dated compared to most IHG hotels I've stayed in. This hotel has a cabin in the woods feel so it was well worth it. — с Shana Renee Tibbs Jones.

Everything’s perfect! the staff is great, management is amazing. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast area is great and they do a wonderful job with free breakfast! Highly recommend!

The construction outside made it a bit hard to get in, but the stay had been wonderful. Very clean, quiet rooms, and one extremely comfortable nights sleep. Highly recommend.

Great deal for what you pay for. We stayed in a very spacious suite. Clean feel. Two queens in one room, and pull out couch/ TV with small kitchenette (with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, cabinets, and sink). The bathroom was huge, so you certainly did not feel like you were jammed in a closet as many hotel bathrooms feel. There were many breakfast options, but they were getting cold by the time I got there (9:15a). At least we had a place to heat it up! Their pancake maker is futuristic, and I now want to see if they are available to general consumers. Haha. I would recommend this hotel.

A New "Rustic Looking" Lodge, that is very Nice, Quiet, and Pleasant. Friendly staff and well kept grounds. (Please Help out by placing trash in the recepticals, that have been provided. ) The animals behavior is…, well… you'll need see it, to believe it. AMAZING! that word covers it. All the pleasures of home, while you're away from home. They're here waiting for you to enjoy. Swimming, or a quick workout, or if you need to contact the office. They have it. Parking is plentiful, so call ahead, or book your room online. Located just off the Pa. Turnpike, easy off/easy on. This hotel has ice cream, burgers, and pizza shops, that are all close by. A Little bit of country, when you've had enough of the city. So if you are tired of the curves to the left and right on the road ahead, this is a Welcomed place to take a break. See you soon. No! We stopped here on a whim on our way home from the beach. We were really, really impressed with how clean every inch of this hotel was. And we loved the adorable lodge decor. The continental breakfast was great too, much better then the standard offered at other hotels. Would recommend this to anyone and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is an excellent place. Small but very cozy. Never Had a problem here.

Great atmosphere! loved the vibe and the furniture. It's clean, looks new. Has good breakfast and the facilities are well taken care of. The pool and Jacuzzi where a lot of fun and the workout room is well equipped. Overall had a great stay, the room was big enough always had hot water. Had all the little things that u might forget at home. Great customer service and really friendly! would highly recommend. Oh and there is a lot to do in the area.

This is a great place. We stayed following a wedding and the feel is very rustic. The room was very nice, very clean. The bed was super comfy. The front desk personnel were amazing! Donna is very helpful! Great breakfast! We will be back!

When my husband checked in and said the room was for him and his bride the manager upgraded the room to a luxury suite. My husband proceeded to say this is what he calls his wife all the time and we were not newlywed. The manager still gave us the upgrade. Best complimentary breakfast ever.

We had a great time. We got a room and had our sons birthday party so everyone had a great time. The place was very clean and had a good breakfast.

I called in December 2017 to set up a room block for my wedding in September of 2018, they called me a few weeks ago to tell me they could no longer accommodate me because of another wedding. Meanwhile, save the dates were sent out with their hotel info included, the manager/owner has not gotten back to us about refunding our money we spent on save the dates. Absolutely ridiculous.

Fairly priced, great rooms, good service. Breakfast wasn't anything amazing, pretty generic (except for the awesome automated pancake maker). Pool and hot tub are well kept.

A visit to the Donegal Holiday Inn Express is always a great experience. The staff have so been friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great! Very well-maintained and cared for.

We absolutely loved this place and we travel a lot. Great staff, clean and nice breakfast. Excellent recommendation for dinner at Bradys. Home cooking at its finest.

What a gem in the midst of the Laurel Highlands. A perfect stop between Cleveland & Virginia. Love the lodge style deco. If you’re a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, there are 2 nearby, the first a couple miles from the hotel & the other, the famed waterfall design house 30 min. Away. A very relaxing hot tub is in the premises next to the pool. Yummy breakfast!

Very nice Holiday Inn. Nice marble bathroom and clean soft beds and pillows. They have a small Buffett style breakfast that's free. The food is good. I recommend highly if in this area. I will return.

Really nice place. They have made it look like a rustic hunting cabin. The taxidermy is a bit creepy and the meeting room has a horrible gold wallpaper that washes people out so makeup is difficult to do for weddings etc because it's easy to over apply blush and bronzer.

Very nice place! Rooms were very nice & very clean, no complaints there lol… AND the vending machines were brand new just about and fully stocked.

The rooms are a bit pricey for what they are but the staff was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating.

Clean rooms, nice little pool, hot breakfast with a lot of variety. My kids love the stuffed wildlife in the lobby. The only negative is that the breakfast doesn't take any steps to be safe for people with food allergies.

The hotel employees were all very friendly and cared about the quality of our stay. The hotel is nicely decorated for the holidays and is very clean. We always stay here when we pass through the area.

What an exciting place for an outdoorsman and five star service from the staff and woodwork was stunning. Room was spotless and comfortable. Lots of fall color nearby if your there in October and November.

Just off donegal exit, lots of good tourist info about laurel highlands here. Kind of a drive away from resorts if you ski then eat drink. But just off highway exit is nice access.

The Holiday Inn at Donegal saved my trip. I was originally staying at another hotel about 15 minutes away. After waking up with a severe allergic reaction to mold from the old hotel, I had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay. I luckily found this holiday inn close by and was able to get a room that day. Donna was wonderful and was able to check me in to my room at 9:30am. The hotel is quaintly decorated and well kept. My room was perfectly clean and had everything I needed. The complimentary breakfast was also a great bonus. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend to anyone in the area that needs a place to stay.

The rooms, breakfast and staff, great. But the smell in the hotel (too much smell of disinfectants) and the stuffed animals in the reception is something that is not of my taste.

Wonderful hotel. The cabin theme is very charming and inviting. We were pleased to have a hot tub in our room. The breakfast was very good and at convient times. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It is just off the turnpike and easy to get to.

Lobby was great had a lodge feel with wood stairs, animals in lobby and even antler chandelier. The pool was the largest pool hotel I've seen outside of a resort. The pool didn't feel heated but they keep the room so warm you w ont know it when you get out. At first I was like 'goodness, those are the hardest beds ever', but weirdly we slept great on them. All in all a great hotel. They were sold out the last 2 nights of our vacation so had to switch. The staff was great and very accommodating. Paula was wonderful at trying to accommodate our family. Will definitely stay again!

This place is amazing. Our room had a queen bed and hot tub/bath in the main room. We really enjoyed speaking the the staff member who welcomed us. Live the decor!

All I can say is wow! I usually don't find hotels all that amazing but this place is. It has a rustic woods decor complete with stuffed wild animals. The rooms are really clean and so is the pool area. I did not try The gym. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was really good too. The eggs weren't watering like most hotels and the sausage was cooked to profection.

We had a wonderful stay! We loved the atmosphere of the hotel. It was so cozy. Renae was especially helpful and went above and beyond for us. We loved the pool and the breakfast the most! The rooms were comfy and clean. Could not have asked for more! We will be back!

I thought this was the best hotel we could have stayed in when at Seven Springs. They did a fantastic job building it and keeping it maintained. The rooms are nice and very comfortable. The breakfast is great. The poop and hot tub are FANTASTIC (even more so after 8 hours of skiing). Highly recommend this hotel, we will be back.

Customer service was good; I requested a room change to a quieter one and staff was very accommodating. Hotel is new and clean. Breakfast lounge was crowded at the morning and I had to go to an adjacent meeting room to have breakfast.

I've stayed here a few times now, either on my way back east from Pittsburgh, or when I was out exploring central Pennsylvania. It's a nice, relatively new hotel, way nicer than I expected for a HI Express, the staff has been friendly, and I do remember they had free fresh cookies when I checked in late one night. If I'm in need of a place off the turnpike, this is my go to.

Room was clean. Breakfast was only mediocre, but staff was very friendly and even offered my son a straw for his chocolate milk. Really sweet! Hotel decorations were really unique and added a nice touch.

Had an extremely pleasant stay. Very nice and very clean. The staff seemed to be genuine when asking how my stay was, also was very cheerful and welcoming. Recommend the cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Would stay again for certain.

The hotel has a modern rustic decor theme with very impressive taxidermy. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offered good quality and variety. We stayed for a local wedding and it was perfect for the occasion.

My family and I stayed over the Memorial weekend for a get way. The hotel is very clean and very nice. We stayed in the 2 queen suite and was very happy. The beds were new, the bathroom was large and clean. The room was huge with a lot of room. We were very satisfied with our stay.

This may be the most beautiful hotel I've ever visited. It was clean, comfortable and had great amenities. The breakfast selection was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Charming, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best I have seen. Only thing is they need to take the ice buckets and cups out of the bathroom.

We started off our road trip up north with a car that left us on the highway literarily left us lost and confused. We were able to find this wonderful hotel. With the wonderful staff that assisted us in anyway possible by even offering to drive us to the nearest enterprise. From the moment we walked they were running around offering us: water, snacks, local info, assistance in anyway possible. They were really down to earth people who cared deeply. I have stayed in far flung hotels such as wyndham and the hyatt but I have never been treated like the way these people treated my family. Their approach was a very small town America loving family feel. The rooms were exceptional and clean everything you can imagine was great. Management was excellent I can't recall the name of the manager but everybody was so nice.

We were in the area for a family funeral and stayed 4 nights. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is nicely decorated and CLEAN! My family of 4 stayed in the 2 queen bedroom and had plenty of space. My girls loved the choice in breakfast foods. We were only able to hit the pool one day, but wish we could have had more days to enjoy it. The pool and hot tub were definitely a hit for parents and kids. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Despite being right off the turnpike, we could hear zero noise inside our room. My kids have already asked if we can stay there again when we go back.

Stayed November 2014. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly, the lobby and breakfast/tv room clean and modern — five stars.

I'm giving this hotel five stars not in the traditional manner for a hotel. But for a mid-priced hotel, it hit all the wickets and more. Not only was it clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but this hotel is decorated with a local flair, and not just in the lobby, but also there are nice touches in the rooms too. The helpful and friendly girl at the front desk explained this was from the owners love of the outdoors. The overall feel was modern and trendy yet earthy and outdoors focused. Well done, sir.

Stayed here in Oct 2013 (second stay this year). Excellent service, exercise room, breakfast, and comfortable clean room. Staff sent us to a nice Italian restaurant 11 miles NW in Mount Pleasant for great pizza and wine. Great stopover enroute from mid-Michigan to Wash DC.

This stay was truly wonderful. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite and it was so relaxing. The staff were nice and accommodating. They had a very yummy breakfast as well. The pool was very comfortable too and had a spa in the pool area as well. They really thought of everything. I forgot my shave gel for example, and they gave me a sample for example! It was very quite in my suite as well. I usually hate hotels, but this one was truly great. If you're in the area, you will be pleasantly surprised to find such a nice stay. Oh and PS if you stay here go to Out of the Fire Café. It is wonderful too.

I just recently returned from a trip that our snowboard team went on for a week at 7Springs. We decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Donegal because the price was reasonable and close enough to the resort. The staff was absolutely amazing, very helpful, and they made all 16 of us feel at home. The cookies were an awesome treat after a long day of competition for the athletes and coaches! We all would recommend the hotel to families, teams, and individuals passing through PA.
