I stayed there for just one night. Its an average hotel. No amenities whatsoever compared to the price they charge. They tell you upfront the housekeeping is done once a week! They tell you free continental breakfast, which is nothing but few packets of trail mix, muffins, & coffee. Not ideal for more than 1 night.

This is the most awesome place the people are great an hard working I love everyone there even sammie the staff are a little short handed but they work hard to make up for it.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great place to stay. Would recommend. The manager Amy is very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. The girls at the front desk Sam L was extremely friendly and helpful.

I would give this place stars in the negative if I could. On June 2, 2018, we had a guaranteed reservation with this hotel location. First off, when the road leading up to the hotel was closed, we had to try to find a different route there. Since we're not from around there, we called the hotel to get alternative directions. We were placed on hold for almost 20 minutes. We had to stop at a gas station for alternate directions, and luckily, they were able to help us. We finally arrived at around 3:30 at the hotel. Immediately they said that they gave our room away and tried to give us a room at an airport location and somewhere else further away. Neither of those locations would work for us, as they are even further away from where we needed to go. We were in town for a concert and had already estimated how much a cab would cost us from the Carnegie location, which is WHY we chose that location in the first place. The front desk attendants and (manager) were less than apologetic. The manager said that rooms are purposely overbooked and assigned on a first come first serve basis. I PAID for the room already. She couldn't even refund my money until I called Priceline. We were left stranded. We had to call around for a hotel in the same area. Luckily, the EconoLodge was able to accommodate us. The least this manager could have done was to CALL ME before we got there so we would not have wasted our time finding the place and just refund me over the phone.

One of the nicest hotels I've been in, but from what I'm told, that means I haven't stayed in many hotels but oh well. I like it.

Free wi-go? sure if u don't mind aol dial up speed, unless u pay $5.00 a day for faster. They advertise kitchen, but you have to rent a toaster, coffee maker, and pots and pans, and dish drying rack. But the room was fairly clean.

Not a place I would want to stay for three months again. Room clean but dingy looking. Have to drive to get anything. Employees always polite.

Horrible service, room was not clean when we got to our room. Went to the front desk to let them know and they wouldn't give us another room and cleaned our room. Only took them 15 minutes or less. You could hear everything going on outside the room. There was a bag taped over the smoke detector from the previous people smoking in the room. Told the front desk as we were checking out and was told " I don't really care if it was you or not smoking in the room". A day later I called because I was so unsatisfied and wanted a refund the manager who told me she read my review, decided to just not contact me about the issues. Then went on to tell me that they cannot refund me but they will give me a free stay… Not that I want a free stay but I guess it's better than nothing. Now almost two months later I have still not received my free stay with Extended stay America. I do not recommend this place for ANYONE.

Staff was friendly and room was clean, however there were no hangers in the closet, TV was poor at best (reception was fuzzy) recliner chair was broken, tried to call down to front desk, phone was broken. This was closest hotel to my meeting and even though it was inexpensive, too many negatives to stay there again.

It is in a quiet location and has a polite staff. I do not suggest trying to walk here from the busway, it is atop a steep hill. The only restaurant within walking distance is in the office park, it serves breakfast and lunch on weekdays. All rooms have kitchens. The freeway exit is very unusual, bring your GPS.

Let me start by saying that I work in a hotel, so my perspective may be a little different. We got there and the check in lady was doing laundry saw us and said she'd be out in 1 second. At least 5 minutes later she comes out to check us in. The room was okay but we requested a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. My boyfriend and I were there for the Steelers game, so I guess not a big deal considering we would not be in the room that long anyway. Our toilet clogged after its 2nd use and despite significant efforts to plunge, it never really went down. I also did not notice until I woke up the following morning, but there was a blunt roach on the lamp ledge by the bed. The carpet was stained in our room and looked pretty fresh. And the stairways and hallways were generally kind of dirty. When I went to check out, the woman was on her personal cell phone and pointed at a box that I should put my keys in. I said that I had something I wanted to tell her about the issues in my room, I could tell she was irritated that she had to hang up the phone and actually do her job. If I acted like her, I would be fired in an instant Disappointing.

Hotel reeks of smoke. Room smelled like curry — I had to buy air freshener, I'm now home and smell like the hotel room. Room seemed pretty clean but there was a disgusting layer of dust on refrigerator and a few other items. Repairs/patches to walls and other items were pretty shabby. Location was also very odd and not near anything without hopping in your car. And the most annoying part was the room keys don't work. I stayed two nights and must have had to get my card reprogrammed 6 times. Reception started to get annoyed with me and insisting that I'm putting it near my cellphone. Maybe get cards that can operate when put near something that literally everyone in the world carries 24/7.

Horrible experience! I can down from Ohio December 1st for my birthday. (December 2) my guests & I arrived early my original check in time was 10 to 11a. We arrived at 5 am after a 2 hour drive & was told I couldn’t get a room by a house keeper doing the front desk. We had to sleep in our car! The house keeper said we could check in at 8 am. Well at 8 am I was told by Jackie I still could not check in til 3pm! When my check in time was between 10 am and 11 am! We got to check in at 2pm we basically went to the mall to pass time. Room was not that clean, two of our lights did not work nor our phone. The next day we asked for more towels & was told we could only get more if we return the dirty ones. Staff was not helpful & my schedule for my birthday was all off on top of that we had to sleep in the car. Only good thing was it was a smoking room but I will not return! I was so unhappy on my birthday & disappointed in how my guests & I was treat.

One of the worst experiences ever staying somewhere. First issue was we were sent to a filthy room. We were given another room, but there was no regard to what they had just done. Second issue was, that I was double charged for on my credit card for the room for one day (still waiting for a refund-the company denied it and my credit card company is now fighting it. ) Third issue was is that in the second room, that I cleaned and setup when entering, due to the condition of the filthy one I was sent to I found illegal items that shouldn't have been there. I told management and they acted like it wasn't an issue whatsoever. Last thing is their continental breakfast consists of coffee, granola bars, and prepackaged muffins. NEVER AGAIN! I really dislike having to give anyone a bad review, but I was so completely disappointed that I felt no other choice.

Everything was fine except for two complaints that I have. One was that the shower was really small. Uncomfortable small. The second was the lingering odor of celery. Don't ask me why. It was really strong in my room. Other than that, everything was fine.

Upon arrival, the customer service was unimpressive. Our stay here was for two nights to attend a wedding. I did not expect much, besides cleanliness. I have never stayed in a filthier hotel than the Extended Stay in Carnegie, PA. I'm nearly embarrassed to tell anyone that I have stayed here. You should know, it is RARE for me to make a complaint or to write a negative review of any experience I have had. The reason I chose to write this review was so that maybe hotel management and/or the corporate office takes another look and considers making some positive changes. Here is my impression of the "cleanliness" of this hotel: 1. The hallways smell of cigarettes and have a very foul odor. 2. Our telephone in the room has layers of grime on it, and clearly has not been cleaned in some time. 3. Our bathroom sink has bloody snot stuck in it. I noticed as I was brushing my teeth and it nearly made me vomit. 4. The shower leaks out all over the bathroom floor. I had to use one of the two tiny towels we were given to clean the water off of the floor. When my husband went to get more towels from the front desk, he was told that we would need to bring the sopping wet towels down to exchange them. They made an exception this time… How nice. 5. When exiting the building, you can find several employees sitting outside the front door smoking cigarettes. How professional. 6. When we went to get coffee in the morning, my husband got less than half a cup before the machine ran dry.

I really have no problems with my stay other than outdated kitchenette. For the money, it really wasn't bad. Thanks for the clean room.

I have to give this the lowest possible rating I can. The hotel I booked was for a king size bed and when I got there they told me there are no more available. They say that they have a breakfast but when I asked about it they told me they have granola and muffins. Would not recommend to anyone.

Clean, safe, friendly and efficient staff. Smoking rooms available. Good coffee. Continental breakfast is muffins/granola bar, but you can always cook in your room.

I've had such an awesome experience staying here. The workers are so extremely nice, patient, helpful, and loving. No matter what issues I may be having, they are so willing to help without delay. This is such a family oriented place to stay, and I'm greatly appreciative of all who have been apart of my happy stay here. Thanks so much for Everything. I give an A++++

Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We arrived at the hotel and the woman at the front desk laughed when I asked if the room was clean, and after heading to my room, I understood why. There was a pile of disgusting, smelly sheets in the corner of our room. The room clearly had not been cleaned properly. There was a bottle of cleaning solution on the bathroom counter, a half finished bottle of Gatorade, and a open bottle of hot sauce. After complaining about the room, we were offered a different room, but not immediately, so we went up to the room to take a nap as we were tired from travel. We woke up shortly after itching all over. Bed bugs. Luckily there was a different woman at the front desk who was able to move us to another Extended Stay and refund our stay here. Please, please, stay away from this hotel.

When we arrived we were given a room that was either currently occupied or dirty from recent guests. Other guests in line in front and behind us at the front desk were complaining of broken A/C, dirty rooms, occupied rooms, etc. I'm not sure how this place has over 3 stars. I put two stars because they did find us a new room that was relatively clean (but still had dust, dirt, and handprints on various surfaces). Definitely would avoid staying here for now.

Room I was given hadn't been touched since previous guest (towels all over floor, filthy sink, garbage overflowing, bed unmade. ) Upon alerting the front desk, I had to sit in the lobby with my belongings for over 30 minutes while they physically walked through the hotel to find a habitable room. Another guest I saw had to wait while they found her a room as well. The manager walked by me multiple times on her way to locate a room and never said one word to me. She has still offered nothing in the way of an apology. Also, the hotel is in a very out-of-the-way location; no fast food or restaurants around at all. There is a CVS and a grocery store kind of nearby. Pretty inconvenient. Won't stay here again.

They do not clean the rooms and they are not given the best treatment that we say to the Latin guests and the breakfast they put it when it gives the desire and the same with the coffee and not say anything of the Wi-Fi.

Very good to put horns, in the morning because there is no traffic.

It is said that there are illegal drug dealers in this place.

Everything was really great except for the continental breakfast. It is oatmeal, apples, oatmeal and granola bars. Not quite what I expected.

The handle was broken in the shower, which was slippery and I had nothing to hold onto to get out of the very high set shower/bath.

The kitchen cabinet doors were improperly installed (they would hit each other unless you opened only one at a time). The channels listed on the paper were completely wrong (example no disney/nickelodeon, even though it said channel 30 etc. ) Dirty range top.

I just stayed at a extended stay in Secaucus, NJ. While that stay involved a feces covered bathroom and a soaking wet bed of the previous attendants urine. This one only involved dry urine stains on the comforter, neither which is o. K. I guess extended stay has given up, it's gross.

Nice room, kitchenette included in room. However front desk clerk at check in seemed a bit rude and when we got to the room it had a not so pleasant odor.

The TV is messed up, says satalite lost signal half the time, room was cold, the front desk people would hardly around and not very presentable or appropriate, I tried talking to say hello to a front desk girl and she didn't even respond! Promised front entrance parking with our online booking but that didn't happen! Very slow internet and no amenities at all! Only weekly cleaning which is ridiculous! For this price I could have stayed in FAR better! Do not stay here!

The room was nice, however barren of any amenities. If we needed kitchen utensils we had to go to the front desk. When walking by the break room I couldn't help but notice seeing a Lite beer carrier box on the table.

The facility was great clean professional staff.

Room smelled awful, staff was disinterested. I was told on check-in that there would be no housekeeping service because I was only staying for two nights. Not worth anywhere near what we paid.

I am currently staying here right now and after driving 7 hours we check in and get a room with dried urine all over the toilet seat and no apologies. It is absolutely ridiculous that not even the manager took the time out to extend his/her apologies for neglect of cleanliness. I will never be staying here again nor will I be recommending this place to anyone.

Decent place but I found a dirty t shirt just behind the dust ruffle box spring cover, should not have been missed by housekeeping, the microwave was dirty very gross to see after you check in. I paid through and online service so I couldn't get a refund and find a better place. I slept fully dressed just to not pick up any thing. It seemed nice but t not very well cleaned, they could miss a lot if they can't see a dirty t shirt just under the bed a vacuum would have sucked it up if it came close to it. I got pictures.

I had a great experience at this Extended Stay in Carnegie! Very close to downtown Pitt — only took me about 7 minutes to drive there — and far exceeded my expectations. The building itself is in very good condition and my room was extremely neat. The room came with free Wi-Fi and even though my hairless cat was with me for the stay, I was delighted to discover I was not charged the $25 pet fee. The hotel is close to downtown Carnegie (about a 4 minute drive) where you can find little places to eat. I would definitely definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone passing through this part of PA and needing a place to stay.

The room was nice, full frig, stove, sink. Bed was Confy and had no problems. Will stay again.

There were bed bugs everywhere. We also found stink bugs and cockroaches. You obviously take a risk whenever you stay at a hotel, but when several rooms confronted the hotel manager, we were denied a refund. Do not stay here.
