Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean. Hosted the whole wedding party, family and friends. Continental breakfast was good and fresh fruit was always available.

To be honest, I have been a fan of the Hampton Inn chain for decades. This is the place we stay at when our family plans outings in the Harrisburg or Lancaster areas and plan to stay overnight. Great quality at reasonable rates, courteous staff, and a decent breakfast. The location is very convenient.

Pluses: Easy access to PA turnpike, comfortable beds, wonderful heated pool, varied breakfast. Minuses: Black mold on bathroom ceiling, dirty floor in room (after taking showers and walking on the floor, our feet were black), moldy smell in hallway adjacent to pool, cheese in omelettes tasted like they used velveeta rather than cheese. In general, a very reliable Hampton that we have stayed at before. This time the cleanliness issue is a concern. (August 24th). I am updating my review as the manager contacted me and refunded me for my stay. Thank you for winning back my trust. Look forward to my next visit.

Staff was amazing! They were very attentive and very friendly. The woman we dealt with at check in, the woman at check out, cleaning woman, and the woman working at the dining area were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the pool area was also very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Not sure why this shows as a 3 star hotel. Front desk would not supply water for being a gold member so we had to purchase it. The gym on site consists of 4 med balls, treadmill, stationary bike, and an elliptical. I'm happy there was a Hilton hotel in the area but I wouldn't hesitate to stay at a competitor after my stay.

I am a Hampton fanatic. Feels like I get a luxury hotel at a discount price. The staff here is very friendly, even by Hampton standards. Beds and rooms are always clean and feel like a home away from home. Must stay if you're in Carlisle.

Whoever owns/manages this place has made a commitment to keeping it perfect. Super clean parking lot, sharp building and clean al over inside. Chuck at the front desk was super polite and helpful with helping us find a place for takeout and delivery. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is very clean and updated. The room was beautiful, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and they thought of all the little details to make our stay enjoyable. Finding the entrance can be a little tricky. You need to enter the commons, where the hotel is located, at the closest traffic light. If you drive past the entrance at the light, you will need to drive a little ways in order to be able to turn around.

Rooms clean people are vary nice there's a vary beautiful girl that works the front desk. I'm in love.

No memorable extravaganza yet solid in all the necessities. The staff was incredibly warm and polite, the food was the best I had seen for this chain and the accommodations were calm and clean. This is definitely a Hampton worth commending. One small critique is the gym was too small for a workout.

We had a awesome time at the Hampton Inn in Carlisle. The staff treats there customers like family. Always with a smile and wanting to know if there was anything they can do to make out stay better. We would like to say thank you … For all the nice things you all did we greatly appreciated everything.

If you are not an animal person. You will not like this place. The halls are dirty and smell like animals. The parking lot smelled like urine and there was dog urine in the front entrance of the building. The air conditioning in the room took all night to cool. I will not stay in this location again. I usually love staying at Hampton Inn hotels but this one was truly a disappointment.

The place was decent. We stay in a lot of Hampton Inns and this one was the worst. First, there was the distinct smell of pet waste in the hallways. Second, the common areas weren't clean. Our air conditioning took most of the night to cool our room down from 74 to 70. I didn't file a formal complaint since we were extremely tired and needed to sleep. I will not go back to this location and hope that this will give others the info they need before they book a room here. Also, they allow pets at this location which is cool if you are an animal person but not cool if you want a clean smell free environment.

We arrived around 9 there. The staff is amazing. We planned a trip to Hershey park and we were only around 30 minutes from there. I'm so glad we picked this hotel. Our room was beautiful, and so clean. The overnight manager treated us so good. I needed an extra blanket, and pillow and he gave me what I wanted. Overall excellent!

Our rooms were cosy and quiet with comfy beds and very clean, with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was huge and varied-I recommend their individual omelets-very tasty, but not so much their waffles-too chewy. I am glad they provided a healthy oatmeal option. We had a problem accessing the pool with our room card, but at the front desk they were helpful and they sent for maintenance promptly. The inn is fortunately a little far from the road and the surroundings were green and quite enjoyable on this clear summer day. All in all, a pleasant stay.

The hotel was very clean (which I feel is the most important). If you join the Hilton honors program, you can get upgraded to a free suite with a jacuzzi tub if they have any of those rooms left when you're checking in. The customer service is also fantastic. Everyone is always very friendly and very helpful.

My husband and I loved this hotel! The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was incredible! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff, nice room! Checked in late and left early, but, even at 4:30 a. M. The desk gave me a bagged breakfast for the road.

This was the warmest friendliest Hampton I think I've ever been in. The employees we encountered were friendly and we felt welcome. We arrived at 2:30 am and were greeted happily as soon as we entered. Breakfast was wonderful right down to the choice of a gluten free cereal and almond milk. They appeared to like their jobs and each other. Not always something experienced at a hotel. Room was super nice for this price point. Definitely will stay here when in the area again.

Conveniently located and easy to access from I-81, the PA Turnpike, or downtown Carlisle. Our room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was hot, plentiful, and well attended by a very pleasant kitchen staff. In fact, we found the entire staff to be helpful, informative about the area, and cheerful. We would definitely stay here again.

Not your ordinary hampton inn. Still offers the safety and comfort of your standard chain hotel, but this hampton inn is also one of the few hotels that takes dogs. My family and I stop here twice a year and are always satisfied. Good quality hotel.

The accomodations were great, a beautiful simple hotel experience for a reasonable price has the basic necessities like the gym and pool, pretty good breakfasts, and in a quiet location. I just wish theyd put out more cookies.

Terrible… LOVE the Hilton chain and wanted to stay there for the week (biz travel), myself and another business partner (two rooms), but the general manager Wayne Ambros couldn't find a way to give us the government/military rate! I don't want to stay down the road at the Comfort Inn but Hilton (and Hilton Honors customer service) leaves me no choice!

My wife and I stayed at Hampton Inn Carlisle last night from a long trip. We had to stop after driving 10 hours of driving. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The room was very comfortable and we both got a great night sleep. This morning we had breakfast in the dining area and we greeted by a very friendly employee named Star who was very helpful in helping us with all of our needs. She is an asset to your company. The staff was so polite and so very helpful during my 6 night stay, anything I needed they were right on top of it. The breakfast was really good food and it was a wonderful smell to wake up to. The housekeeping was so friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at for work.

Heating and air conditioning unit full of caked and moldy drywall dust. 4th stay at this hotel, and had to turn unit off to quiet rubbing blower cage. Glad it was a cool night. Probably our last visit. When you renovate, check these units when they are run during drywall sanding! Asthmatics don't need to be breathing this stuff, not to mention the mold from unit. Room 329, toss out the old unit and put in a new one.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, and clean. Breakfast was varied every day and delicious. My only complaint is that they are renovating and working on the room beside me. I was woken up at 7:15 to the sound of people sanding a wall on the other side of my head. Not a very pleasant wake up call. The hotel is pet friendly which is another plus.

Unbelievably poor. They advertise AAA and AARP discounts, but none available to me. Charged $150.00 for a room that was practically in the lobby. Paid $50 cast and the remainder of debit. They charged my debit account for $175 saying the temporarily charge 20% over the room fee and then return it in 3 to 5 days. Never heard of such a thing and moreover, they had my $50 in cash, so the balance should have been $100. What a rip off. Shame on Hilton Hotels and Hampton Inn. Never again.
