We stay here all the time. It's cheap. They have a nice little lodge bar that has a pool table. They stay open pretty late. It's basic stuff here nothing crazy but we never have a problem and like to support local business.

This place was a prime example of dirty. I would have never gone here if I knew that the hotel honestly felt like it came out of Soviet Russia. Room was meh to say the least. Dead bugs everywhere, AC unplugged, the room smelt like stale cigarettes and cheap one night stands. Bathroom fan didn't work never had a number 2 linger that long. Wallpaper was nailed into the wall. Elevators felt like they were never touched since the 80s but that was also the rest of the hotel. People sleeping in their car in the hotel parking lot too. That should say enough. 0/10 would not recommend. Felt like I should've paid 20 dollars.

This hotel's prime days were probably in the 80s and 90s, and are now long gone. The rooms are decent and the beds are comfortable, but the windows, hallways and elevators looked dated and well worn. Maid service was virtually non existant, we had to request new towels and sheets three times before it actually happened late in the evening of of our second night. The free breakfast is mediocre and the lighting in the dining area is extremely dim. Some better management and some extensive updates are needed!

Horrible experience, was told one price when booking for a wedding then when checking in was told they were not giving the discount price and charged almost double. When question about price change everyone's response was " the person that can change it isn't here" The toilet did not flush and the A. C. Was broken when we arrived to the room. I travel to the Pocono every summer and winter and will never be going back to this place.

The pool was very nice, but the room and the place looked outdated. There also was a bit of a smell that wasn't pleasant in the hallways and room. It didn't seem properly ventilated or cleaned.

I was driving through the area and needed a place to stay on the fly. Check-in was easy, breakfast was pretty average breakfast hotel fare, and no heating or cooling issues in my room. The reason for low stars is purely due to my room being half cleaned. I'm pretty sure someone ate an everything bagel on top of the bed because it was covered in seeds and garlic. Some cups were unwrapped and a little trash was left in one of the garbage cans. I did not address it with staff (and would have if I was staying longer and wasn't tired out of my mind) so I just tossed the covers off and slept on cleaner looking stuff.

Excellent and friendly staff. Service was amazing. Great value and location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious, loved the waffles! Nice family getaway.

My wife and I recently stayed the weekend for our 1 year Anniversary and had a nice time. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The owners are very nice and accommodating and we will defiantly be back! Thanks for a nice weekend away!

This place not for family stay, only for a couple overnight stay. I stayed there with my family for memorial weekend it was ok. It wasn't much to do the place is nice and clean, there breakfast is very good. I wish they would've changed that little toaster the guests had to wait over an hr just for a toast it was working at 1st then the next day they handed up moving it to different location because the outlet wasn't working and then it went out again handed with no toaster for a holiday weekend like that shouldn't happen. Besides that everything went well.

Bed bugs and mismanaged breakfast — have to wait for half hour to get something. Rates are too high for the amenities and service they have.

This place was not great. Clean room but air conditioning did not work properly. Breakfast was not great. Two toasters on a holiday weekend and they did work properly. Took forever to toast. Ran out of things for breakfast and was very cramped area where the breakfast was set up. Complained to front desk and they did not do nothing but say, when you come again we will make things better.

The good: Hotel has a great location, right off of both Interstate 80 and Interstate 476. Its a bit secluded from the roadway, but this makes for a nice quiet stay overnight. The staff is really friendly here as well. There's a nice area for breakfast with spacious seating. The pool is very large and can accommodate many people. The bad: Unfortunately this property is somewhat run-down, lots of evidence of wear and tear on the building inside and in the rooms, which makes for a gritty, dirty appearance. The indoor pool had bugs and wads of hair in it, the sauna did not work, 3 out of 4 machines in the workout room were not working, and the hotel breakfast was depressing. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, on account of the friendliness of the staff, but unfortunately there's many aspects of this hotel that need major improvement. Part of the roof over the indoor pool is an unfinished weird mesh, still keeps the weather out but looks like something wrecked it recently and this was the patchwork repair job. The Wi-Fi worked ok on the first night, but stopped working the next morning and afternoon, and they told me I'd have to set up in the lobby in order to use it. I told them it wasn't a matter of signal, the Wi-Fi connection showed up but just had no actual connection/data to it. Ultimately this hotel was a let down. It looked alright in the pictures, but in reality the 'resort' needs improvement.

We stay here a few times a year. Usually it was for my nascar race trips. But when the wife wanted to go to the poconos for a little getaway, I called and made a reservation. When we got there the staff recognized me and treated me like family. The wife was good with the room we got and used the pool and the little gym. When I told her they had a sauna in the pool area … She ran back downstairs. It was a peaceful quiet night and we enjoyed the lounge for a few drinks. They serve "bar food" in the lounge that was ok. The next morning there was a huge continental breakfast. If your not looking for marble floors and gold monuments… This is a easy choice.

My experience was a mix of impressed and needs improvement. I am staying for business. Upon arrival the man at the front desk was very helpful and attentive. Before heading to our room we decided to check out the bar and grab some food. They were crazy busy. Glenn and Michelle the bartender and cook are truly amazing. Between the two they did their best to accommodate all guests. Just the 2 of them. That area needs some updates. Writing out orders by hand and serving a large amount of guests. But they definitely got the job done. The bar service and food were great! We also noticed that the new owner of the hotel also jumped in to assist with check ins at the front desk. That is amazing. He is very friendly as well as willing to do what he can to accommodate. Our room was nice. No issues there at all. Now this morning I was a little less impressed with a few things. The breakfast as well as the service that came with it was great. Glenn (the same staff from last night) gave excellent service with accommodating guests needs. Free breakfast with a time frame there were guests complaining as well as waisting food to try to get the kitchen staff to provide extra. Guests complaining to a different staff at the front desk… Now this is where I am a little upset. The breakfast was great there were some rude people. The man a the desk included. I didn't have any complaints execpt for he had the I don't care not my job attitude.

The rooms were satisfactory but the service was not great. There was not enough continental breakfast to accommodate guests. Many, including myself, did not get to eat. They should have been better prepared for a busy holiday weekend. I would not stay there again.

First time I stayed here. The first thing I noticed is that it was VERY CLEAN! And the staff was very helpful and happy and ready to answer any of your questions. He told me where you can could get a nice meal. Just a real nice guy all around. I don't find that too much and I do travel alot. There should be more guys like him around.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! When I booked this place to stay I was really excited they had a Jacuzzi tub that I had to pay $30 to upgrade. I didn't use it the night before because I was tired from driving and hungry. My husband and I ordered food and it was not the greatest at all he didn't even finish. In the morning my back hurt so bad from sleeping on a bed that felt like plywood. I went to get breakfast and I head a kid day " Mommy taste this it's disgusting" I looked at the food and passed myself. I thought well I'll just get coffee and sit in the jacuzzi and relax before we leave. I turned the hot water on and took a sip of my coffee and just about spit that out too! I then looked at the water and saw it was brown as the tub was filling up GROSS! My husband took a shower with his sandels on and we brushed our teeth with bottled water! I told the guy at the front I paid for the upgrade I didn't use and showed him the picture of the brown water and he said no one complained before that's our water to the whole hotel. I asked for the $30 refund for the upgrade and he told me he doesn't have the authority to do that. Other than that it was an ok place to stay the people were nice the pool was cool looking.

Any port in a storm-and I am glad they had rooms available on the night of 3/2 when the storms hit, but… the only thing missing in this hotel was Jack Nicholson! I give them high marks for hitting their goals for cleanliness and modernity… if their goal was to nail down mediocre and dingy. The bathroom floor had a layer of scum over it. There were hairs sprinkled around the floor and the tub, which appeared to be broken. The toile seat and bowl had the urine of past guests still percolating on it… it appears that no one really cared to clean the bathroom. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was suitable… I would suggest that when you're down to your 5th choice, make this hotel your 1st choice.

This is our perfect get away place. Not expensive, clean and on point with service. Love taking wifey there for a breather from the children. I highly recommend this place.

A quiet location and friendly accommodating staff. The location is absolutely perfect for partying. The BBQ grills … need more of them! A cool getaway in the poconos. Lake Harmony rocks.

Over the last couple of months the place is slowly improving under the new management. It is a long and slow process but it is getting there, Service and affinity towards the guests seems to be the mantra. The staff is very accommodating and will go the extra mile to help you.

Stayed the weekend there with my boyfriend, we weren't looking for much to do but to just relax and go with the flow. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the morning breakfast was good and the cook was very nice. She even left the food out longer since we slept in late and breakfast is over by 10am. She even cooked up a meal for a family that came after 10am. The room was big and clean, a little cold when we walked in but once we put the heater on the room was warm. We used the pool and it was warm, the only thing that kept us from using it again was that once we got out of the pool it was freezing cold so even if we wanted to sit down and dry off we couldn't because it was that cold. Maybe something to work on? The sauna was off so we couldn't use it. Other than that our experience there was great!

Would certainly stay there again. We read the awful reviews before booking, but this was the least expensive option around for our party of 6. Yes, the hotel is slightly older, but contrary to the other reviews, it wasn't as horrible as others have said — maybe it was because we had lowered expectations going in, but in fact we were pleasantly surprised. This is not a 5-star hotel people, so get over it. It is a decent hotel, one of the least expensive in town, and definitely worth what we paid. PROS: The breakfast: more than just "grab and go. " It was scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal/milk, bagels, toast, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee and more. It was buffet style and the staff were on top of refilling food and cleaning tables promptly. The pool: clean, clear, WARM! Very chlorinated-expect red eyes. The rooms: clean, comfortable, pretty much like any other middle of the road hotel. The staff: awesome. The price: terrific. THE CONS: It was a little nerve wracking going up and down the hill to the hotel in the snow (December). They plow, but I'm not sure they salted the road, it seemed icy. We made it fine even though we were in a Ford Fusion and a small light Honda Fit. Yes, the key cards reset and locked us out even though we were booked for 2 days. Guy behind us in line in the lobby was having the same problem.

The good about the resort is that they were very accommodating they gave us a different room even after the third time because there was water damage on the ceiling. The food was good in the morning which includes hot eggs sausage and pastries with coffee and some fruit. The pool was very warm and relaxing. Okay this is the not so good in many areas the ceiling was showing rain damage which could also be mildew. We had to keep asking for help which included having a pool lights turned on, getting our key card redone, having the smell of drugs in the hallway and not even having the treadmill in the fitness room working.

The place was okay and their breakfast was very good! But I never known any hotels or resort without a phone inside the room to call for the front desk if you need anything from them. You have to go from your room all the way to the front desk to ask for extra sheets or blankets. The worst part here is that they're going to take it to your room but they forget and you have to go back there to remind them again.

Very affordable and the owners are very accommodating and very nice. It was once a resort and have a very nice bar and dance floor that is open on Friday Saturday. They have a real nice pool area indoors that is shaped like a clover and the water is very warm. It was real relaxing in there and you can play music and it is very clean inside of their. They had a full-fledged buffet for breakfast and real eggs. It's a little hidden and it and the back rooms provide a beautiful scenery with large windows and the woods with the Moss and the ferns and the wildlife you can see from your window.

Stayed one night. In a quiet area. The beds were VERY comfortable. It was decent as we were just passing through, but not worth $100 though. The breakfast was subpar and there was hardly anything left by 9:30am. The floors could have used another vacuuming, our fridge had mold in it, and clothes from a previous customer were left in the drawers.

My family of four stayed here a nights. The front desk staff, housekeeping staff and other staff were all very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offers lounge/bar in the evening, which was a nice bonus. My only minor criticisms — the coffee offered at breakfast was consistently weak-tasting; Other than minor things, it was a very nice experience. We'd stay there again when in the Pocono area.

Good place but Lots of things to improve, Nice place for family visit. The rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was good. And, we enjoyed the bar/lounge area and my family enjoy pool games. Thank Goodness pool table worked and the staff in the lounge area were so nice.
