They gave my room key to a stranger who was almost shot. Then gave us replacement keys without checking our ID. Do not stay here if you have a concern for your families safety.

Very friendly staff and VERY nice updated rooms. Although my room had 2 double beds, they were quite comfortable and slept very well. The walls were not particularly thick but didn't here much outside/next door neighbor noise.

Overall is good just not great. Beds were very worn and in sad uncomfortable shape. Our TV is going out I think, the volume would increase randomly during a show then fade out again. But very clean good location.

Excellent service. The staff was warm and welcoming. They had cookies for our dog. They also had cookies, chip and salasa and night. Free morning breakfast which was good. Clean rooms with comfortable beds.

For an older motel they've got it going on! It was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating with lots free amenities! We loved the pool and hot tub and used it the entire weekend. The staff was friendly and the free hot breakfast was great as well.

Very comfortable remodeled rooms and easy parking right off I-5. Shopping and cafes are within easy walking distance. Friendly, efficient staff… and warm cookies with hot coffee. ☺

Great hotel! Super clean, and really close to great food (I recommend 7 Thai and Burrito Vaquero). Check in was super easy, the staff were all very friendly. Nice pool and pet areas too. Love that they have cookie hour! Even though you are right next to the freeway you would never know! I would happily stay here again!

I used to work there. They have remodeled and the place looks absolutely wonderful. A bit pricey but hey a few more $$$ is not too much unless you choose to stay in a dive like Days Inn next door. The properties used to be one. It's like night and day. Breakfast is wonderful next door the juice machine is fed by a garden hose. $20 very little to have a top notch room with lots of amenities. Guest laundry, clean pool, wonderful breakfast, friendly polite and professional staff. Wish I could move in there at times.

We love staying here. We come every year for the Car Show in July. It is a very nice Hotel, and meets all our needs. It is extremely clean, the entire staff are all so helpful. The rooms are excellent, very clean and meets all of our needs. They make check-in and check-out very easy for us. They have some great snack, the pool is nice and always clean. The hot tub is nice too. It is a great location, a small mall located with in walking distance. Easy on and off I-5. The beds were a bit too hard for me and I didn't care for their pillows.

Our vacation was great and the stay at the hotel was awesome! All the staff was friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious thanks to all the staff our stay was great!

Friendly and competent staff, rooms were clean and beds comfortable, nice breakfast. The breakfast attendant was very attentive and helpful to all guests who were in the dining area when we were there.

So far this place has impressed me. They use many techniques to show that the room has been thoroughly cleaned and checked after the last guests checked out. The facility is, overall, very well taken care of. They have an outdoor pool and spa, and offer free Wi-Fi and breakfast. They also have complimentary snacks available in the lobby until 9 pm.

Clean, friendly, great breakfast. Easy on and off I-5 and it has a clean pool. Staff is fast and friendly.

My husband dropped an envelope with cash in it. We didn’t realize it until we got a phone call from staff. The cleaning staff found it and turned it in. Then the manager helped return. I was very impressed. You change a bed or a pillow but an honest staff is worth more than anything else.

I would recommend the Garden Villa Inn. Welcoming staff, popcorn and cookies in lobby. A great breakfast featuring good strong coffee and smiles from the staff. We were traveling on motorcycles. My friend and I were provided with a bucket, rags, and cleaners to clean our bikes the following morning. Why can't they all be like the Garden Villa Inn?

The outside looked like an older motel, but looks like it had recently been painted, so looked well taken care of. The room was very well appointed with the most comfortable bed we had slept on during our road trips. The only complaint is that the toilet was so low and small (very old).

We arrived without a reservation, nice experience checking in. Refurbished guest rooms are nice decor, GREAT BED, friendly staff. Great full breakfast, popcorn and cookie snacks late afternoon, good coffee anytime. Reasonable rates. Cute town, we'll be back. Easy access and freeway proximity was not a problem, good soundproofing.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was excellent! The facility is rather old, and the toilet backed up, but was easily plunged. The toilet was quite old and a little small. The facility could use some updating, but the price was reasonable and reflected the age of the motel. Last year we stayed at the Comfort Inn across the I-5 and it was similar in its shortcomings. If you are looking for a good motel on a smaller budget, you will likely be satisfied.

Over all my stay was good. The employees were very good, helpful, pleasant, and professional. The room is well used and could use some updating. Over all the room was clean and maintained. The breakfast was good and had several choice options. I liked the homemade soup and cookies available at check in. The only problem encountered, I was awakened several times during the night in what sounded like trash trucks picking up trash dumpsters. I don’t know if this was just a random one-time occurrence or not, but it was annoying.

I had a great time staying there. Super nice room. And lovely staff. Helped me fix my car in the morning and had a huge breakfast with a great selection. Don't even get me started on the coffee. Overall loved it. Right off the freeway and has a gas station right next to it. Walking distance from shopping center and a park with trails. Had a nice looking pool but I didn't actually go swimming. (it was late) Would recommend.

This is the closest hotel to the Roseburg Veterans Administration Hospital. So, it was the perfect choice for us to stay here while visiting our veteran son who was a patient. My arrival experience was warm and welcoming. Brittany was friendly and professional. Though this is an older hotel, and the exterior is a bit dated, the rooms appear to have been recently updated. The room I had was small, but had everything I needed. Thoughtful touches, like the swan holding the makeup remover, lotion, and shower cap were very welcoming. A real coffee mug was another nice touch.

We stay in hotels/motels a lot and the Best Western Garden Villa in Roseberg is near the top of our list! Everything was satisfactory but the real highlight of our stay at the Best Western Villa Inn was the staff. Each individual that we interacted with was friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. They made us feel appreciated and gave service far above that which one might expect to receive at a roadside motel. We will definitely be staying again.

Extremely helpful and accommodating. I have a small dog and I love that they make the stay so easy and enjoyable while traveling with him. I always use Best Western when I travel because of that. Pets are family, too. And the bed was extremely comfortable, too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and well stocked. There were lots of options for outdoor public spaces. They made the best of what is pretty much a shopping mall area feel like a real destination.

First rate small town hotel. Best Western Garden Villa Inn met all the criteria for a deluxe hotel, with thrown in extras that were unexpected, yet delightful. The young lady at the front desk was helpful, cheerful, and efficient. The cleaning crew, was thorough, and helpful. Rooms were nicely furnished and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and well cared for. I was very happy with my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy, the room was nice and affordable, and the location was great. What was really outstanding was the customer service. The woman at check-in was fantastic and so friendly and personable. She even gave us some free toothpaste after I asked where we could find a store to get some. The morning check-in crew was terrific and when we checked out the man who helped us was terrific. The lady at the breakfast buffet (which was very good) was helpful, friendly, and eager to serve. Our one complaint was the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, but I am still giving a five-star rating because the customer service was so fabulous.

I really enjoyed the friendly front desk staff, especially Brittany, who gave us great dinner recommendations for the amazing Thai place next door. Loved the music in the pool area and the breakfast service in the morning (I didn't catch her name but the breakfast attendant was super helpful). What a great way to kick off my me and my fiance's anniversary road-trip. Wanted to stay on our way back, but were booked up. Thanks guys!

My 13yr old grandson and I stayed here 2 nights and want to share our experience. Checking is at 3, we arrived at 1 and was hoping for an early check in — YES our room was ready, and it was clean, the sun was out and it was warm, perfect pool weather for a perfect pool, there was even some pool toys. This is an older facility and the low flow toilet backed up, BUT it was cleaned up right away and the maintained man was able to fix the issue quickly. The front counter staff were really nice, polite, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was fine for no true kit hen, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and all the other breakfast items you would expect. I would recommend this to anyone, but call ahead because they were packed both nights we were there in the middle of the week.

Next to a Starbucks, excellent in-house Wi-Fi, three eateries within a 2 min. Walk, just off the freeway, very nice staff. Breakfast too and gas 200 ft. Away.

Clean room, great service by the staff at check in and check out. Comfy bed and great pillows! Yummy breakfast with lots of options for everyone. However, Quiet hours don't really mean quiet hours. Pool was cloudy and had lots of debris and bugs in it. Hot tub wasn't working. I would stay again, just bring ear plugs and don't use the amenities.

The room was great! It was very cold outside, but the heater warmed the room quickly and the hot water for the shower was seemingly unlimited. We were hoping the hot tub was open until midnight, but was only open until 10PM. Also, the hot tub was nice and hot, but the jets didn't seem to work.

The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. For a special priced hotel, it was a very clean room. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with a variety of foods. There is popcorn and cookies in the evening. Nice surprise to get a room this nice and clean for a bargain price.

Very nice place especially for the price. Staff are super attentive and polite, would definitely recommend this place to anyone that's looking for a quick stop on a long drive.

Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Super clean rooms. Easy access (right off of the highway, and close to all the good stuff). Quiet.

At first I was thrown off. I have an ADA animal and I chose this room online because it says accepts pets. Well, they made me sign a no pet policy, acknowledging a 250 fine of pet is in the room. We were very tired upon arrival. We then let them know our situation with the ADA animal and they accepted her no problem. So if you have pets I would call ahead of time. Also, they put us in a room with two twin beds, that wasn't going to work. My wife and I sleep together. Shawn took care of it and upgraded us to the only balcony king available. There were a couple quirks that were resolved quick. The room was very clean and comfy. We didnt eat the breakfast buffet but I heard it's great. Shawn will go out of his way for his customer and deserves to be recognized. If it wasn't for him I am not sure the issues would have been taken care of, Shawn is leadership material.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and peaceful. More importantly, it was evident the staff was there to please!

The room and breakfast are about par for the course for BW, which is more than good enough for me. The biggest problem was Wi-Fi reception, which is absolutely crucial for me when I choose a hotel. I had a very hard time getting a reliable reception and had to spend most of my evening working pushed up in the corner of the room to get a signal. I will give the hotel another shot, but if the Wi-Fi remains an issue then I'll have to look elsewhere.

Horrible hotel! My parents stayed here on their last leg home from Washington. They were woken up at 11 pm by what can only be describe as a banging garbage truck behind their room, and then were woken up again at 4:45 by the front desk. They were told they had a noise complaint regarding my parents room, and it was regarding running water. The women from the front desk demanded my mom get up and check their bathroom. My mother did and informed them the noise was coming from the wall, and sound like a leaking pipe. So after paying $137.33 for a night of rest they only got to sleep for four hours! Then at breakfast they got yogurt and asked for spoons, and were told there were none. They resorted to using straws. Horrible way to treat elderly travelers! Shame on your hotel! My parents filled out the comment card in the room, and have never heard from this hotel again!

This hotel was great! They took care of all the little touches that made it nice. The ONLY issue I had… the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

The late night clerk was so nice and helpful! I couldn't say enough good things about her. She was awesome! Also the room was clean and nice.

Not a huge fan of this hotel. It is what it is, but I think it could be better for the price. Our a/c didn't work, but they did bring us a fan. The cookie hour is a big deal I guess. Get there fast because the good ones go fast! Great location with Fred Meyer down the street and restaurants all around.

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. I liked that I was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. I did not like that there was a chair sitting right outside the my room's window with a small table next to it that had an ashtray filled with cigarette butts. I drug the chair and table away from the window.

We were just passing through on our way to Seattle area. Front desk was very helpful in getting us a ground floor room. Everyone was very pleasant and happy to help. The only small thing is that the internet service in the room is too weak to be of any real value. I did get strong connectivity in the lobby area and was able to complete my business.

My wife forgot her phone under the pillow. We called the hotel twice because the housekeeping obviously took it. They did not even had the courtesy to call back. Shameful.

I have NEVER written an online review before, but am so disappointed by the way I was treated by this facility that I could not just say nothing. I was supposed to be in town on business to do training at one of our local offices, and because my trainee was sick, I had to cancel within the 24-hour cancellation window. I was responsible and called to let them know my extenuating circumstances, and they are still charging me the full night's stay! My company also represents future business to this facility in the form of meetings and seminars, and they still insisted on being rigid about this cancellation policy and charging me the full amount. Finally, I was not compensated in ANY way — no credit for future night's stay, NOTHING. The manager I talked to clearly had no head for business and no heart for customer service.

We enjoyed our stay. The ladies at the desk was very friendly and our room was clean. It was a nice accommodations to stay at after driving all day. Thank you.

Nice room. Odd layout. The Fujitsu A/C — heater unit is a nightmare to operate. No instructions to be found. Even the lady at the front desk was puzzled when I brought the remote to her for explanation. Don't even try to figure it out; just use the Amana unit in the other room.

On our annual winter retreat to Palm Springs we used this hotel for the first time and it was excellent. Just a short drive from the freeway it was well equipped, quiet and within easy distance from old Sacramento where there are an abundance of good restaurants. We had a room overlooking the Sacramento River and close to the breakfast room so it was ideal. Should you ever have need of a handy overnight hotel then I highly recommend this people friendly place.

We often stay in BW hotels in Northern CA or Southern OR when driving the I5 corridor, and this was our favorite so far. Comfortable rooms that appear to have been recently renovated, friendly staff, pleasant pool area, good-sized breakfast area with the typical BW breakfast. Easy on-and-off from I5, and located in a fairly quiet setting. We liked the milk-and-cookie hour! Only complaint was that the AC was too loud; would have been impossible to sleep with it on. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Everything was first class a great place to stay QUIET.
