Friendly staff and amazing view from our room (#41). Clean room and very spacious with sofa and coffee table.

The past 2 nights were my 3rd stay at this hotel within a year.
This hotel is in a great location and the ocean-view rooms have a stunning view, from either the comfort of the fireplace inside the room or outside on the balcony where you'll be able to hear the enormity of the Pacific.
The Brown Pelican Room is quite large and fits a family of four, although the queen beds may be a bit snug.
The service is a friendly and fast and the prices are fair.
We'll be sure to be back!

Very nice hotel, with amazing ocean views!

Pet friendly. Right on the beach but it is reasonably priced. Peaceful.

The view, the view, the VIEW. Also, the rooms are huge, and very elegant in an understated way. Mostly, we come for our dog, who gets to stay with us.

Loved this place!
The room was exceptionally clean and the views, incredible… even on a rainy day.
I especially liked the tiny little window that we could leave open to listen to to crashing waves.
We didn't eat the continental breakfast, but highly recommend The Drift Inn Restaurant. It's just a little South of the Fireside and fantastic!

The Oceanfront rooms have the most amazing views and are so close to the crashing surf you can almost feel the spray. Situated right on the 804 beach trail which is stunning and easy access for almost any physical level. Beds are a bit soft for my taste, and the balconies could be more inviting with nicer chairs and lower railings, but the value is excellent for the location. Beautiful scenic walking opportunities abound in any direction from the Fireside, and the staff is friendly, helpful and responsive. Breakfast is included, simple but adequate, and the rooms have fireplaces and up to date TV and DVD in room. Wifi could be better, but this place is well worth my money and I will return. I would give it 4.5 stars, but that was not an option.

We stayed in an oceanfront room, well worth the price! The continental breakfast was perfect and there's nothing like breakfast with this amazing view. We loved it so much we stayed in our room and relaxed the entire three days instead of sight seeing. Comfortable room with a front row seat from inside our room or on the mini deck of the sunrise/ sunset! Very dog friendly. We have seen all kinds big and small and the walking paths are excellent for photographers.
