poor Wi-Fi, better say no Wi-Fi at all!
Room was filthy!
At the first look you think it’s clean. But when you look closer. Under the toilet seat it was dirty, the hair dryer had hair on it from the earlier guest, and when I woke up I found out there was some disgusting bug in my bed, and we found more of them!
Never ever stay here again! And would definitely not recommend!

Very rude and disrespectful employees. Charged us when we didn't even check in and didn't even make it right.

For a diamond member this is terrible can’t even get an extra blanket! No extra creamers or sugar for my stay! But I will say I love the water pressure!

Room smells moldy. I left only to find out they charged me $456 instead of the $103 that was quoted to me the night I had stayed. I called the manager, Chris, to get to the bottom of it… he was no help so I asked to talk to the owner or his supervisor and he refused to give me there contact info. Chris is definitely running some kind of scam.

Great place, clean, friendly host made reservations for our return trip.

Our room 145, the screen to the window was removed before we entered the room, sand was on top of the sheets before we lay down into bed. And the most disgusting part someone bar soap and razor in the shower. DO NOT GO HERE go to the Hyatt.

When we got in our room our TV wouldn’t work called the front desk maintenance man came right away to ck it out find out people before us messed with the back so he went and brought us a new TV was very nice and apologetic, the room was very clean and nice and you got a full breakfast we will back!

Booked our room on Hotel. Com, not the same hotel when we arrived. Hotel stinks, very out dated and filthy. Asked for a refund before we even checked in, front desk refused. Checked into our first room took pictures of all the hair and showed the clerk she moved us. Room was just as bad. She had the room attendant change the sheets because they were full of hair and grime. Shower is covered in mold, towels stink like mildew. Front desk lady is covering entire hotel so she’s away from the front constantly for up to 20 minutes. Do not stay here!

We have stayed here many times. Always great service, nice and clean, and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Has Trailer parking.

Absolutely great place for pets too.

The bathtub wasn't clean, and there were 2 separate $50 holds on my card that the reception had no idea about why they were there. Bright and early in the morning, the housekeeping staff was slamming doors and stomping around upstairs. The spa was randomly closed with no explanation. Stay somewhere else.

They have big rooms. It is always clean. The outside is currently getting a fresh paint job. Not a color I care for but nice and clean. The breckfast food is always fresh and good with a good variety. Been their several times now.

Absolute garbage. Had a vehicle issues and long story short, had to call in around 8pm to make a reservation and told the lady I wouldn’t be in untill a little after 2am. Her response was “our nightly audit will happen at 2 so it’ll take longer to check you in but that’s fine” I asked if I could reserve it on one card and charge it to a different one and she said yes. (My buddy had to drive 5 hours from Portland to bring spare parts for my truck and help me fix it real fast. I reserved the room but we planned to charge his card) I show up and the wrong card has already been charged, and the desk lady has no idea how to check me in without charging the card again. She found a way around the system but it took forever. Lady on the phone knew I would get in past 2 and the card would be charged, but just straight up lied and told me there would be no issues. Felt very taken advantage of. Desk lady was very nice and tried her best despite being very new but whoever I talked to on the phone was either incompetent or manipulative. Very frustrating experience.

Staff couldn't figure out how to get our room keys to work when we arrived. They did give us a little goodie bag and water bottle since it took so long. We were surprised how quickly the breakfast was cleaned up right at the stroke of 9:30 a. M. Most places aren't so strict and the person in charge was very unpleasant. The kids had also wanted to use the whirlpool and it was not operational. The beds were comfortable, though, and it was fine for just one night.

You can’t tell from the outside, but this location has been remodeled on the inside. The room was spacious, everything but the carpet seemed clean, and the beds were comfortable which is why I’m fairly giving the second star. Sadly, the manager was the only person who was remotely friendly or professional at the front desk. It was a real turn off, I felt like such an inconvenience going through the normal motions of a hotel stay. Like, I’m sorry your coffee urn was always empty when I came for coffee. I’m also sorry my keys frequently deactivate and I had to disturb your YouTube chill time under the desk. I’m also sorry your business center computer, “doesn’t work for anyone” (thanks for sharing that info) and that I really needed to print just one paper for work. But I don’t think it warranted a threatening call to the police and your escalated ego banning me from your lobby forever, girl wash your face and calm down. I’m sure this location provides hit and miss experiences, its like playing Yahtzee. If only North Bend or Coos Bay had a handful more options to stay at that provide better probability of a good experience.

It is exactly the level of quality you would expect from a hotel on the coast that only cost $110 a night in the summer. The mattress was in need of replacing. There was mildew on the shower curtain. The doors didn't sit right in the frame, making it hard to shut them and lock them. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and when you're in Coos Bay there's not a lot of higher quality. Worth the money you will pay.

I made a reservation to stay at this hotel because my grandfather was in the hospital and we needed a place to stay. The reservation got made for the wrong date but Quality Inns wouldn’t change my reservation or refund it.

Friendly, good service. Clean and very adequate rooms (king size bed in our room, 202). The bed was comfortable, the shower has great water pressure. The rooms have mini fridge and microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer. You get a little thank you addition at check in as well. The court yard is a very nice and refreshing thing to open your curtains to. Its well maintained, peaceful and mellowing. Breakfast is free with your stay. It consists of cereals, juice or milk, oatmeal, pastrys/muffins/breads, waffles (though they need a nother waffle makes), hot items of the day (today it was hash, biscuits and gravy and sausage), there is yogurt and hard boiled eggs as well. We will come back and stay. Note: the gravy is very bland n' pasty, and the hard boiled eggs where rubbery. Though a very small thing when your room is clean, big and comforting.

Decent place to lay your head for the price. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, so we stuck to the cold stuff. My wife enjoyed the hot tub, while I enjoyed the gym. Clean. Close to lots of things.

Nice location, near stores. Very clean rooms and facilities. Good coffee in the rooms and lounge. Our room was probably meant to be a double, its overly large. The only complaint is that the remote or receiver didn't work. It took around fifteen minutes to set the channel.

I’m not typically the type of person to leave negative reviews, but I don’t feel I had a choice after this stay. We chose this place, going off the average of review, a decent price, and flattering photos from the hotel itself. Below are some photos I took during our one night stay. Stained carpets, dirty/cobweb ridden corners, and mold in the tiles in the bathroom were just a few things I could document with photos. What you don’t see here, is the musty smell attempted to be covered up by strong cleaning products, the lamp on the nightstand that didn’t work (wasn’t just a bulb), and waking up in the morning itchy with multiple bug bites between my wife and I. I will never come back, as far as pricing there are plenty of other places to stay within the ~$100/night range. I gave two stars instead of one, because the staff seemed nice, the water pressure was good, and the air conditioning unit in our room worked great. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

We were driving from the Redwoods to Newport and wanted to take our time. This hotel was a pretty decent place to stop for the night.
We had been staying at a lot of the Choice brand hotels throughout our month long road trip and we found the quality for the price paid across all their brands was very good. This particular one we were able to use only points to stay at, so the bill was $0. What makes this place different:
The rooms! We got a ground floor room that was HUGE! I would estimate around 600 sq ft. We parked our car at the front door and realized there was another door to the back that opened up onto a big green courtyard. Super unique!
The king bed is on one side of the suite and a pull out couch on the other, making it a great spacious place to stay for families. The good:
— The size of the room
— Ease of access & being able to park the car outside the suite
— Mall, restaurants and shops all a walking distance
— Had a bigger size fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. The bad:
— There was a guy standing in the parking lot for over 6 hours… just staring at the hotel. The security said we was there a lot, but there was nothing they could do about it because he was on public property. Little sketchy!
— The shower in the bathroom soaked the entire floor and the walls had a but of rot from this happening over time. Needs a bathroom reno badly. Stained stucco in the tiles.

Loved it! I was there for an overnight job (all night job) so I wanted to be able to sleep in when I got back in the morning. I requested an extended check out. They let me have a very nice extended check-out. The bed was crazy comfortable!

I spent some time talking with the general manager and walking around the place. Then imposing on an employee I asked him to show me some rooms and walk me around the places the manager and I had not gone. The whole place was clean or in the process of being tidied up after guests had checked out. Staff was friendly and cheerful with everyone. I would stay here if I was from out of town.

For today cost to build, I find it in Fair Deal to get a good night sleep and they swim enjoy a hot tub with free coffee and free breakfast and a apple or orange or banana for the root but listen up most cases under a hundred dollars for 2, at these prices you can still afford to pay your mortgage when you get back home.

Stayed all week in a nice room. The breakfast was up an hour before they claim which makes it available before work.

Wonderful stay! Called for reservation at 6pm and they had a handicap room available for that night (which is what we needed). Very friendly staff, room very clean and king bed super comfy as well as pillows. Bathroom very clean and even had a facial wipe. Breakfast was a lot more than we expected, waffles, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, many breads to choose from, packaged oatmeal, then your standard fare. Well attended and clean, a lot of seating made us feel as if we were in a restaurant. Best breakfast experience we have ever had in a hotel setting! Very nice courtyard view out our back door. Totally recommend this hotel. Thank you for making the last day of our vacation pleasurable.

I stayed here while I had family in the local hospital and the staff had exceptional customer service, they went out of their way to help me in any way I needed, the maintenance man even helped me with my luggage. This kind of service is so impressive because most people do not have it. Thank you! The property was clean and tidy.

A nice clean Hotel with plenty of parking and conveniently located next to the Pony Village Mall. They have a very friendly and competent staff and boasts one of the best continental breakfast I've had in a long time.

I've only been there once or twice to visit friends from out of town, but it was very nice at the time. Clean, comfortable. Never saw the employees, wasn't there overnight. Seems nice enough and if I didn't live here, I'd stay there.

We had a double queen suite room, which is HUGE! Clean rooms and good beds. Was in town to visit family. Will stay here again.

We have stayed here many times the beds are comfy staff is so so and the breakfast is pretty good there have been a lot of police activity and weird stuff going on but that's just Coos Bay for ya.

Breakfast was pretty cheap, microwaved eggs. Maids made a mistake and told us to check out when we were still supposed to be there. Other than that, fine.

This is our 4th visit to this hotel. We had to book two rooms on this visit. Unfortunately this time was probably our last. One of our rooms smelled of mildew, the breakfast cereal was stale, there was an extra hundred dollars held on my bank card even a day after checkout because with a toddler our family was considered to big for one room, meaning my children and handicapped brother had to sleep across the hall from us. And then our keys only worked sometimes (the housekeeper had to let us into our room) and the hot tub was broken. Really bummed because it's so conveniently located to everything and our other visits were great.

Always our go to place to stay while visiting our grandson! Clean comfy beds and very nice breakfast, full breakfast I might add. Little welcoming bag at the desk while checking in is awesome!

Stayed overnight to attend a funeral. Good rooms, good beds, clean utilities. Only problem was with the cable. The channels would go in and out of service.

Our room was awesome and the service was great! Bathrooms could be updated a little and the whole building needs a paint job, but we will definitely stay there again!

Beds are absolutely incredible, and rooms are huge. Best place to stop for sure if you're passing through. I used to live in this town and I know the location isn't great, but it's a small town and everything is walking distance.

Clean, tidy, comfortable, and quiet. I abhor dog hair/odors and my room had none of that. With so many travelers dragging dogs now, I have become very particular. The room was no-pet, no-smoking, and just what I look for. The breakfast was a surprise — very good quality.

Had a very bad experience at another hotel and moved here. The front desk lady got us in at 11am the place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare but the coffee pots were clean and bed comfortable. Great hot water pressure in shower. The staff provided lots of local info and provided extra towel and blankets with no issue. All in all the trip wold have been a nightmare but for this place.

The front desk was very nice and helpful, and the room was better than expected. There was no crazy view but the price was good for what we got. We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast because we slept in from the beds being so comfortable! Wanted to stay again but our adventure continued. We even got a little goodie bag at the front desk and it was a nice touch. Nothing negative to say.

Great price for the quality of comfort. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft. Clean shower and bathroom. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choices including fresh and warm sausage, eggs and Continental breakfast options. I would definitely recommend Quality Inn and plan on staying again next time we are in town.

First they tried to put us in a room that was already occupied… pretty funny… the beds were so uncomfortable the worst ever … and the neighbors waking up at 5 and starts banging things around… witch don't understand why they need to put people right next to each other if they are not even that busy…

PROS: We had 3 rooms, the 2room suite and 2 dbl queens. All rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. This place has the best continental breakfast I have ever seen. CONS: They need a 2 room suite on the ground floor also.

Nice room. Large hot tub. Located across from plenty of shopping and restaurants. Good place to stay.

It's over priced for what you get! But the bed was comfortable. The desk clerk was nice the breakfast was like most other cheesy continental breakfast. Not sure I'd stay there again.

Decent room but we could hear everything the people in the room next to us were doing and saying. Everytime someone walked past the room (we were on the 2nd floor) you could hear their footsteps and the room would shake. Breakfast was typical but the customer service was great.

The beds and pillows were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was pretty standard. The lobby was very nice but they could use spending some of that money upgrading the rest of the hotel. The rooms are tiny and nondescript. It doesn't matter for a one night stay but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than that.

Have stayed in better hotels in the past. But the rooms were clean and neat.

I can't even begin to say how much I hate this place for the bind they left me and my friend in. My friend and I had to make a last-minute reservation on Presidents Day weekend on the Oregon coast. It was the only hotel we could find that had availability. After making the reservation through Expedia, we drove two hours south to North Bend. When my friend went in to check in, the receptionist told him that a woman called the hotel to say that someone by my friend's name had tried to make a reservation using her credit card number, so the hotel cancelled our reservation. They did not call my friend to inquire about the issue. This story also did not pan out because the hotel charges showed up on my friend's card immediately, so obviously they were not made on someone else's card. The receptionist at the hotel, named Lauren, handed my friend a printed letter with cancelation information. The name at the bottom was Ray — not signed, typed on. My friend asked to speak with Ray and the employee said that he doesn't work there anymore (evidently sometime between when we made the reservation and when we arrived, Ray quit — yeah, right). My friend pushed the issue a bit and the receptionist gave him a business card with the name Teresa on it. We tried calling the number on the card and it went right to Lauren. There was no other direct contact information for Teresa on the card.

They should pay YOU to stay here! The worst hotel experience I've had to date! Bugs in the room! The housekeeper left the trash can full, and the used soap from the previous guest in the room! There were towels on the floor, and this hotel looks run down! It seems to be the only game in town so they must get away with this horrible service! Because of this stay, I will never stay at another Quality Inn and Suites ever!

I was really worried after I saw the reviews for the hotel. But the terrible beds and the unreasonable staff were the *only* problems we experienced. Room was ok. Bathroom was alright just small and the coffee maker crammed in there was obviously an after thought. Carpet appears to be newer. No bad odor.

Mediocre hotel. Weird smell. Clean enough. No pool.

We checked in and it looked promising. We went into our room and saw sagging beds, found an insect underneath oneof the beds and it smelled wierd. The front desk gave us a new room. No bugs but still an odd pear.

We were PLEASANTLY surprised with our stay at this Quality Inn. The outside honestly looked a little iffy, not run down but not polished either. We entered the lobby to find a VERY clean and comfy reception area. The assistant at the front desk was a truly wonderful, pleasant and helpful lady that offered us an easier access room, wonderful treat bags for the boys, and an extra blanket and pillow for our little cold sleeper. She was wonderful. The room was VERY large with newer furnishings, VERY clean and simple, the beds comfy, the bathroom area convenient for those getting ready for bed while others relaxed in the main room. They also offer a breakfast and the area was also clean, tidy and very well done with MANY food choices and options. I would recommend this as a great family place if you are traveling on the coast and need a clean, comfy and affordable place to stay. They also do a very nice AAA discount.

We were very disappointed and disgusted. We chose this hotel for two reasons; because it was close to the school where we had a tournament, and it had a hot tub. Well the hot tub was out of service, the bathtub had hair all over it, and they charged us for 3 nights when we only stayed one night. The room smelled bad, the coffee tasted like burnt paper, the bed was worn down, the light from the bathroom window was bright due to street lamps and no curtain. Oh and there were blood stains on the sheet and comforter. We'll never go back and we do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Nice room for a reasonable price. The staff is very helpful. They accommodated my request to change rooms at midnight with no questions. The rooms are clean and well kept, the bed is nice and comfortable.

Service was ok — according to the clerk they are consistently short staffed. Hot tub was nice, walls very thin, no frig in room, breakfast was ok but they ran out of everything for breakfast, including coffee, by 8:30 a. M. I appears they are saving money on labor and it shows. Had I not used the manager's special to get the room for $79 I would have been upset. Barely worth the money.

We had a great stay. The room was clean, comfy, quiet, and the staff was great. I really appreciate the continental breakfast. All the food tasted great! Keep up the good work. Thank you.

It was clean and quiet. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The staff was accommodating. I would stay again.

Good price. Clean room. I don't mind if the carpet is ripped. Bed was comfortable. Good fridge and oven and breakfast. Hotel carpets freak me out anyway so I always wear shoes on them. I much prefer hardwood, but hotels don't offer this.
