We arrived today and the folks at the front desk were wonderful, had to wait about 10 minutes because our room was going through a final inspection, was offered cookies, cold drinks, what ever we needed, The staff is wonderful. Arrived in our room,,,, IT’S BEAUTIFUL!,,, Immaculate. The staff called about 30 min later on the room phone to make sure everything was to our liking. I certainly can’t say a negative thing about The Inn At Nye Beach. 5 Stars+ in my book.

We have been coming to Inn at Nye Beach for many years. We come for family vaca, romantic weekends or touristing with people from out of town. It’s a great location with great views, fair pricing with comfortable rooms. And the best is their Spa with the infinity edge! It’s been a great experience every time and we hope to keep visiting!

My grandson wanted to get married and his fiancé wanted to be by the ocean, so they stepped up and threw together a very romantic and thoughtful Room for them and decorations were amazing. They got the whole works balloons flowers chocolates it was very awesome they discounted our room for that to happen so quickly was amazing.

We stayed at the Inn for a few days for my birthday. There were cupcakes and balloons and chilled sparkling wine waiting for us when we arrived. My husband arranged for a massage on my birthday. Ashley was amazing! The room was clean and lovely with a huge tub, fireplace, and beautiful view. We had crazy weather, stormy at night and sunny during the day. The room was perfect for both. And breakfast delivered to the room daily was a nice surprise, too. Didn’t get the chance to try the hot tub or fire pits because of the crazy weather. Maybe next time!

Amazing experience! Stayed the night during our road trip through Oregon with my 2 fur babies. They gave them 2 doggie bags with treats and a toy for them! So cute! Breakfast delivered to your room, fresh baked cookies everyday! Definitely will be returning to stay at this beautiful hotel.

First the Pro's. The staff at the Inn at Nye Beach are both professional and extremely nice. The infinity hot tub is amazing and the gas fire pits top notch. The view, like most beach views, is breath taking. The Cons. I do not recommend the massage. I paid $200 for the person who came with me and she came back more sore than when she left. We were given the back up massage therapist vs the regular therapist and would not recommend. As far as accommodations go, I had specifically asked for a separate pull out bed, which this Inn provides as an upgraded room. That would have been great except the pull out bed was broken and I had to sleep on a broken couch, with one side sticking about a foot higher than the other, which led to a miserable night of sleep. The phone to room didnt work, so anytime we needed to call the front desk, we had to use our cell phones. The manager was kind enough to offer us 2 separate rooms at no extra cost. I politely turned her down and thanked her for the offer, but told her she could make more $$ (approx $1000 per night for both rooms) for the hotel and if they could provide us with a roll away bed, we would be happy and a discount on the room for the night before. They brought us a single bed that was too small for either one of us to sleep on, so I asked for extra blankets and pillows to see if I could help cushion the broken couch/bed for the next night of sleep. We paid over $1200 for a two night stay.

Just got home from a lovely anniversary trip. This hotel is so warm and accomodating, especially with my disability. Delicious breakfast delivered to our room, lovely coffee provided with a french press, fireplace overlooking the ocean, scrumptious bed and couches. We just cannot proclaim our love for this hotel enough! you have been providing top notch service for us since 2012, and we look forward to many anniversaries to come ❤❤❤

Was so happy to stay at the Inn. They went above and beyond for my son who happened to turn 6 while we were here. They also gave us a treat bag for our pup and the view of the ocean was fantastic. I will definitely be back.

Loved the romance package felt important to the staff and it has that family friendly vibe to it! We loved it so much we booked another stay there at checkout!

What's not to like about spending time at the beautiful Oregon Coast.

I took my sister to the Inn at Nye beach for what would be her last trip to the coast before she passed away. The staff were overly accomodating knowing this would be her last trip before she passed from end stage cancer. They provided a boquet of yellow lillies and roses in our room for my sis to take home with her and a complimentary bottle of champagne for us to indulge in as we watched the sun set. My sister is still around. Fighting like the trooper she is. But we both know know her time with us is short. We will have these memories. And all because of the staff at the Inn at Nye Beach. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You are all so amazing…

This place is just lovely and relaxing and charming.

Had a great night, beautiful inn in a beautiful place. Right by the beach, new and huge room and bath. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay so much. Even we’re just passing through to get to Seattle. Highly recommended and my boyfriend agreed!

The room we have is small but very nice. Stay on Saturday night for some free wine tasting… really fun.

We visited for our 3rd anniversary and ordered the romance package. It was by far the best hotel stay we’ve had! The romance package was well worth it, it made our arrival so special! The staff was amazing, we loved the wine social and massages, and the infinity spa was absolutely fabulous to relax in and watch the sun set! We will definitely be returning, bravo! ❤️

Our room was lovely. But the cleaning staff was vacuuming at 5:00 pm as my husband was napping. The pool was amazing but there was a yipping dog that evening and then the next morning from 8 am until we checked out at 10. The breakfast is included but limited to only one hot item. Not a good value when paying around $300 a night.

This place is amazing! Stayed here the night I got married. It's a bit expensive but it's a great experience. Infinity pool right at the beach, beautiful fire place and great staff. I left my dress there and Cassandra was super sweet about helping get it to me. I called Saturday morning and my dress was delivered in Idaho on Monday. Super impressed.

Recently stayed at the Inn with my husband and had Such a wonderful time! We had a slight mix up with our room but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Ended up having so much fun I came back a few weeks later with a few friends for girls weekend getaway. Nene was absolutely amazing! She always made us feel so welcomed and went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect. We will definitely recommend the Hotel and plan on coming back soon!

The staff was nice. They walked me to my room. The pet charge is $20, but when I got there they had a bag full of treats and a toy for my little monster! The room was clean and nice. I plan on going here again.

What a cute little inn. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the beds are comfy. The view of the beach is just unreal! And the infinity hot tub and fire pits just sealed the deal for me. Will definitely come back for a longer stay!

We were wow-ed by the size of the 2 bedroom King suite. Plenty of room for 2 couples. The only draw back is having to share one bathroom. It would be perfect if each room had a private bathroom rather than the "european" shared bath. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and hearing the ocean.

Kelly and Cassaundra were so kind when we were forced to walk out of another location late in the day. The infinity pool beach access and fire pits were so cool! Impressive and reasonable wine selection. Beautiful room and bath with fireplace. Only semi disappointment was the breakfast. Just expected a little more quality. Cannot wait to return for a beachside room!

Sunday night rooms were not ready by 4. Laundry carts and cleaning carts were all over the hallways and cleaning people were using the elevator. I'm on vaca, I don't want to deal with this inconvenience. Also, the breakfast is bad. Not an attempt to make it nice. Love the jacuzzi and the fire pits!

This is a lovely little hotel with great amenities and an absolutely perfect location in the beautiful historic Nye Beach area of Newport. It's been a few years since I've stayed here, and while a lot of the new updates are nice (a heated spa pool, outdoor bonfire common area, and large luxurious bathrooms in the rooms) my husband and I preferred this hotel before it went through the changes. The staff have been pleasant enough this stay, but when we visited a few years past they went above and beyond to make our stay really special. This time arouhd everyone at the front desk seemed a little stressed and a little less welcoming. The new upgrades make this hotel a lot more expensive, and while the rooms and amenities are nice, I'm just not sure they're worth coming back for for us.

Amazing location, easy access to beach via stairs. The bed was super comfortable and pillows were quality. As you can see by the pictures; warm pool location is just perfect. Fitpits were a nice touch too. My room was a "city view" and priced less than the beach facing rooms. (Balcony is smaller than beach facing rooms; but fresh air was nice) Had a challenge figuring out TV since it was sourced to DVD vs cable TV; younger people would have figured it out sooner. Continental breakfast was basic as they usually are (note to cleaning staff, floor in breakfast room was sticky like a movie theater floor)

The room was beautiful, smelled wonderful upon arrival, and the view is pretty much unmatched. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Parking wasn't even really a hassle even though the parking lot is pretty compact in just about every way. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for making our last night in Oregon so stress free!

Favorite place to stay in Newport. Easily a 5 star in every way, but had to give 4 stars because the bed wasn't comfortable. Love the infinity pool with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Fire pits are great with the view. Great rooms.

The King Fireplace suite was great! It was like a small apartment. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and the view overlooking the ocean was terrific! Private access to the beach was so convenient. We enjoyed the infinity spa and the free continental breakfast. After a day spent walking in the rain, it was great to come into a warm environment smelling of fresh baked cookies with a warm fire. The staff was friendly and seemed very committed to making sure our stay was comfortable. We will stay here again.

Couldn't get the charges correct, kept charging the card for the wrong amount. Spent half a day trying to get it straightened out. Don't waste your money or time.

This is our adult place when we want to get away from the two legged kids with or with out our four legged kid. They are super nice rooms are great. The dog friendly pooping area through is extremely small maybe 2 ft by 10 ft. So be prepared.

LOVED IT! This is a great location for families. One of the most beautiful views of the ocean… very cute town with restaurants and ice cream shop, lighthouses were very interesting!

The staff is nice. The rooms are great and the location is fun for exploring. But it is not close to many things. But it is still a great place to stay.

This place exceeded our expectations we came here for some much needed time together and a momcation. I’ve not been so relaxed in a log time. My husband surprised me and booked the romance package. The massage therapists were super friendly and did an amazing job. The front desk staff was outstanding, we had a small hiccup with the soaking tub in our room and maintenance was right in to fix the small issue at hand. Our view was outstanding! The hot tub, amazing! You won’t be disappointed! We’re coming back!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and we definitely had the best time! The rooms were very clean, the check-in was easy and the service and staff were on point! I loved the complimentary breakfast in the morning lots of good options and very tasty! Would definitely stay here again and again! Got to admit from the outside I had my doubts but this is definitely a hidden diamond in the rough lol Can't wait to stay here again!

The family suite we stayed in was on the main floor, which was convenient for us to borrow movies or grab a coffee from the lobby. Bunk beds and a pull out couch in the bedroom, plus a TV and DVD player worked well for us. There was a heater and closet. The pull out bed was a typical mattress, not very comfy, but ok. No blankets we're provided for the pullout, so we took them off the bunk beds since our little one has his own blanket. Our friend had the king bed in the main living area, which had a fireplace and a view of the hot tub and beach. Kitchenette included a mini fridge, plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster, 2 burner stove top, microwave, sink, etc. Bathroom had a tub/shower combo, sink, toilet. There were snacks in the room for purchase. Continental breakfast was included and consisted if the usual pastries, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit coffee, as well as some scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon. The coffee was disappointing, and consistently had coffee grounds at the bottom. The hot tub was kept at 102 F, so it was great for adults, but too hot for our toddler. Overall the amenities met our expectations and our stay was an enjoyable one. Would recommend it.

Friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful ocean view, stay on the third floor as ceiling is pretty noisy. Room was lovely with fireplace, but wanted softer sheets and the glow of the microwave clock was pretty bright (for sleeping purposes. ) This is a neat spot, tucked away from traffic.

Tastefully elegant but unpretentious; wonderfully attentive staff willing and actually going out of their way to exceed expectations and listen to guests. Honestly, a true rarity in a smaller boutique-style hotel not in an urban center. Warm smiles, really spacious suites with a real wow factor! Our compliments to all, from GM to housekeeping; the pride that comes from working here is hospitallically palatable. Yeah, I made that word up!

What a fantastic place to stay. Great staff, the room even beat my expectations for what I paid for it. The View out my back slider Off of the deck was right there on the ocean, and the layout of the room you can actually take a bath or a shower and still see the ocean. There's even a huge hot tub outside and places to sit around the fire tables which are gas and they illuminate at night. The most relaxing night at the beach I've had in a long time, I will definitely be going back. // 2nd review ; I stayed here for 3 nights at Christmas 2017 It was much colder than my 1st review which was summer, The Room is fantastic, nothing changed. The continental breakfast was delicious.

This is a lovely inn on the beach with a spectacular huge infinity hot tub (pool) overlooking the ocean. The rooms are renovated and large with mini kitchens, all with ocean views. The included breakfast is great. There are numerous great dining options within a 2-3 block walk and the Newport bay front is 0.9 miles away with even more dining and shopping options. Our go-to spot in this area!

We loved the Inn at Nye Beach! Such a great location and well updated and maintained. Unfortunately when we stayed there, the hot tube was out of order due to a storm but the hotel was great at accommodating a late check out with us instead. If we lived in state we would be frequenters!

Great location. Very clean and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. Long staircase to the beach, but there is other easier access nearby. Infinity "pool, " is really a large hot tub. Continental breakfast includes a couple of hot items, but the scrambled eggs tasted weird. Elevator went out while we were there and so it was a trip up and down flights to take the dog out. It is nice and dog friendly, except all the grassy areas say "no dogs, " so you have to go out the front and across the street to do "business, " which also seemed weird. Apparently there was an online overbooking issue, so we got bumped our second and third nights from our King Suite Ocean View room to the City View room, which was not as nice. The hotel did apologize when they called about the mix up, but it was disappointing. Overall, we liked the place in general.

Our room was modern and clean. Awesome shower. Fresh coffee was provided for the in room French press at check-in. Our room also had a microwave, mini fridge, gas fireplace, couch and bar sink. We had our dog, which was an additional fee, but included treats and a new dog toy for her. We also we able to sample a few wines and enjoy some light snacks at check-in. The staff was very friendly.

What a cute place. We enjoyed our time here. The hot tub is awesome and there is a fire every night. The front staff are very helpful. There is a French press in the room with fresh ground coffee but if you like a dark blend and like it strong, you might want to bring your own. The only thing that I can say that I did not like was that we were limited to where we could eat because we could not leave our dog in the room. I do understand the rule and why it is the way it is. Some people have ruined that for people that are good dog owners. The parking is also very limited and very tight. We always got back early enough so that we could park on the street and not have to worry about somebody parking so close we couldn't get in our doors. You should try it!

The Inn at Nye Beach just recently completed a renovation / expansion. They now have a large hot tub and a fire pit behind the inn. The views and sound of the ocean is spectacular. Even with the cool breeze and temperature at night it was totally rejuvenating. Private beach access made it easy to get down to enjoy a walk along the beach, fly a kite, etc. The staff and rooms are top notch, easily meeting what one would expect for the rates they charge. Also, the inn is easy walking distance (one tenth of a mile or so) to a number of restaurants, shops, and parks. Cafe Stephanie is an awesome place for breakfast in the mornings while the new tap house nearly next door to the inn has great food and beer selection. There's also Italian, seafood, and other choices nearby as well. If you're looking for a getaway of any kind (romantic, personal rejuvenation, etc) the Inn at Nye Beach is perfect choice!

We had an awesome time at the Inn! We arrived late in the evening, and the staff was so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast in the morning is no-frills but nice (hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, toast). The fire pit and pool are amazing. We sat outside for a long time during the evening around the fire pit and enjoyed the pool during the day. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great ocean view but be prepared to share your $400 plus a night experience with the neighbors. There is no one privacy, no security. We watch 6 people walk from a nearby rental who came to use the pool and stole the towels on their way out. NOT worth the value to stay here. There are much nicer locations elsewhere with a better sense of service and serenity.

Everything was brand new, hotel was clean, staff were nice and helpful. This is a great hotel with the majority of the rooms offering a beautiful ocean view. Beds were comfortable. Complementary breakfast was decent. Just a nice, clean, and good hotel. Highly recommended.

Great place! The room was exactly as advertised — We booked an ocean view, and it was beautiful, the bed was comfortable with very crisp sheets, the tub and shower were (in a shrilly girly voice) amazing!, it was quiet, the staff was friendly and accommodating, there is a French press on the room, and the fireplace worked perfectly and was a nice touch. If it's a special occasion go for the romance package, it's totally worth it — we were greeted in the room with rose petals and champagne on ice. Beach access and fire pits were cool too. I would change two things — more movie channels (or pay-per-view), and a mini bar in the room would be nice.

Great place to stay! Amazing rooms with a perfect view. Easy beach access. Staff was incredible and I got the best recommendation I can imagine from Eric about were to go for a romantic dinner with a view. I can't wait to see what all of the upgrades they are getting this summer!

"-": The place is under construction. There is noise from 7am until 6-7pm. There is no now beach access. Shower head was leaking, nobody did't fix it during my visit. Found some candy under the bed (means, that housekeeping didn't clean). Parking available only on street. Wi-Fi connection was terrible. $175 — it's too much for those issues. Supervisor didn't give any discounts for those issues. Very disappointed. "+": nice view to the ocean.

Currently under construction. It felt as though something was missing from our room. Our view was obstructed by construction equipment. We left a day early, but at would try again once the reno is complete.

I stayed in s 3rd floor condo unit, it was very restful, quiet and so beautiful. The condo was very clean and modern full kitchen, larger flat screen TV with DVDs and cable. Balcony view was spectacular. Can see full beach and lighthouse off in the distance. Can't wait to go back. Staff friendly, but you are on your own, not many In house amenities.

5 star the first visit… 4 star this time. The construction was louder and a bit more disruptive this time. Also the temperature of the shower would change every minute or so from boiling hot to freezing cold without touching the faucet. Internet would disconnect sparatically as well. Other than that it is a beautiful place to stay.

We received a very warm greeting, and check-in was prompt. The room was very clean and so spacious, as was the bathroom, and we loved the shower. Of course you have a great view of the ocean. Without a doubt, we will be back!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night in one of their dog-friendly rooms with our dog and the three of us had a great stay! The rooms are beautiful and well-kept and the staff are very attentive. They gave us a gift bag for our dog with treats and a little chew toy, which I loved. We stayed during construction (which wasn't an issue at all — I don't think they were working while we were there so it wasn't noisy in the least) so I'd love to come back once that's all completed. Our only complaint: we had a lot of trouble with the guest-Wi-Fi. We were hoping to relax at the end of the night with some Netflix on our ipad but the connection was so spotty we could barely browse the internet, let alone stream video. In summation: excellent room, great location, will definitely come back again.

My Girlfriend was having a birthday gathering with 5 of her Girlfriends from Ohio, California, Montana and Washington. I reserved a 2 bedroom suite at The Inn at Nye Beach for all of us as a Surprise… And I couldn't have been more pleased! IT WAS AWESOME! The courteous guest services interactions, were the cherry on top. Everyone was so nice and helpful, anything we asked for. Extra robes, towels, toilet paper, roll-away, Etc Etc… Was whisked to the room within minutes! I would say it was the ABSOLUTE BEST stay I have every had in a Hotel, Inn, Resort, House or Condo. And there has been a few over the years. The Girls and I were very impressed with the decor, size and the layout of the luxurious suite. With the kitchenette, we were able to make breakfast every morning for 7 with no problem. It was a turnkey kitchen, just bring your food. And a full fridge to put it in. Sorry to ON and ON but… The Romance Package that I ordered for My Wonderful Girlfriend was Amazing! Towel Swans that made hearts & rose petal hearts on the bed, chilled champagne, a single red rose, chocolates, bath robes, and your own Inn at Nye Beach wine glasses to keep. Well needless to say we will be Back and Back and Back again… :) You were very successful at "Creating Memories"… Which is what Molly said was their motto as I was checking out. Great customer service at the front desk. I thought the room was much better than average with up-to-date, modern amenities. Wi-fi was great. I was on business and so it felt like home away from home. Had I been on vacation, it would have been a great location for that, too, including romantic getaways.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Inn at Nye Beach. We fell in love with the quaint shops and eateries of Nye Beach just a small walking distance from our hotel. Nye Beach is so cute and beautiful. Will definitely return. It was too bad the gym was closed due to construction tho and our view of the beach was a little obscured due to the construction taking place right outside our door. A swimming pool on site would be nice, or maybe that is what is being built? But whatever is being built will take away from the ocean view from the rooms first floor rooms.

Clean and spacious but unfortunately it has no room service, no access to the beach as described and guests have to use the next door's building beach access. AC was not working properly. Made a cash deposit but they were unable to give me a receipt, only able upon check out. I don't know for what the hotel price is too high and it has all of these disadvantages?!

Great room, great view and nice people. We stayed for one night and watched the sunset go down in the chairs out back. We considered ourselves lucky to get a parking spot out back. A little disappointed to not be able to walk to to the beach directly from the hotel because of the closure of the stairs. However loved the location to the restaurant, cafe, and nice neighborhood. Will be back. The front desk guy from Boston was cool too, Really loved his dinner recommendations and took him up on it. Enjoyed the fresh breakfast items in the morning just wished we could have checked out later…

What good is a great room without decent service or great service. My room was fantastic with a great view. Everything was clean and the extra touch was given by the cleaning staff. MY COMPLAINT is that there is no service staff on site. NO COFFEE IN THE ROOMS, but they have a beautiful french press and a way to make hot water. I called the front desk and was told that I could come to the front desk and get some coffee. I get in the elevator at 6:15 am with another gentleman that is holding an empty coffee cup looking for the same thing as I was. We get to the front desk to find that the place is locked up tight. The person that answered the phone was at another location. The beach access is closed and we have no one to ask why. Other people are on the beach but the gate access is locked. If you are in a pinch and need a place to stay check it out, but be willing to spend $300 a night.

My wife and I stayed two nights at The Inn at Nye Beach for our 2015 wedding anniversary. The result : Awesome! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. A breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean from your room and immediate, private access to the beach. I purchased the additional "romance" package with our reservation and my wife was THRILLED with how beautifully the room was decorated by the staff. No room service, but excellent food delivery is available from nearby Cafe Stephanie. The Inn has covered parking for your vehicle and is within easy walking distance of many Newport restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars. We loved our stay.

Our first stay was okay, but we were a bit disappointed. We would like to give it another chance, so we have booked for January 2015 a King Suite and we will post our finding after our stay. Jim.

I got to say one of the best hotels in newport I have ever stayed at. Best bang for your buck friendly nice and clean! You can not ask for anything else. A plus will gladly tell all my friends and family about you guys.

We stayed 3 nights in this cozy inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and the addition of binoculars was the perfect touch. Loved it.

Wonderful ocean view, gas fireplace, cozy chairs, comfortable bed — all at a good rate. Four legged children welcome in designated rooms.

An older inn that has been modernized. The new look is pretty nice. The staff friendly and the ocean view pretty pleasant. A very private atmosphere and their packages are beyond perfect for a romantic getaway. However the floor and ceiling are paper thin and you *WILL* be getting up with whichever of your neighbors wake up first. If they're above you it will sounds like herd of elephants going back and forth, slamming their feet against the floor. If any of them use the microwave you will here everything from the buttons to the finishing chime. Hope no one uses the hallway because you will hear every word they say and everything they do. Pray you're not near a family with kids. Doors closing echo through rooms from the top floor to the bottom and at least in our room, the doors (both bathroom and main) squeaked so badly I wondered if they had ever been oiled or adjusted. In short, beautiful hotel, friendly staff but if you are looking for a quiet getaway, look for someone else or try to find a time when they are mostly empty. Also perhaps the top floor is better when YOU can be the noisy one and not care.

We stayed at The Viking's Greenstone Inn for one night during the off-season. The night staff was very helpful with getting us settled and making recommendations for dining. The location overlooks the beach. Since the weather was kinda miserable we didn't experience the steps that others have complained about in other reviews. We were shocked how large our room was! Ours was a studio King with a gas fireplace, frig, microwave-and a small balcony overlooking the ocean. Did I say the room was huge? The bed was comfy and had lots of pillows. We used the fireplace all evening and truly enjoyed it on that rainy blustery evening. We really liked that the Inn was green. Solar panels power the Inn. Recycling is the norm. They have key cards to control the electric in the room is clever. It was a great view of Nye Beach and we would absolutely stay with them again. Parking was under the Inn so we didn't even get wet unloading our luggage. Thank you for the wonderful visit! Recommend Stepanie's for breakfast and April's for dinner. The price during off season was very reasonable for the quality of the room.
