Great clean place to stay right on the ocean with reasonable rates. Enjoyed our stay here!

Their oceanview 1 king room is perfect for a couples getaway. The view is breathtaking and the clean, spacious room is minimal to really showcase the beach. The jetted tub was certainly a bonus after walking the sands for miles. Just down the road from Haystack rock, there are a number of available amenities such as a cute cafe and bar. The free bike rental is a wonderful addition to the package.

I love this little hotel. Brita at the front desk is an angel. I love the location. My room was nicely furnished with a kitchenette and plates and glassware. I love the gas fireplace. The room was clean. The price was great!

Lovely location at the south end of the prom, large suite with gas fireplace and serene coastal vibe, beautiful view of the sea.

We loved it here! Large suites, beautiful ocean view, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Bikes to ride, games for families, dvds, balconies with gorgeous views, pet friendly, fireplace and super helpful, friendly staff!

I stayed in a double queen room that had a partial view. The room was nice and clean. There was plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. They do have DVDS to watch or games to play at the desk, as well as bicycle rentals that are all free.

If you are looking for a pet friendly, clean, fun (they have free beach cruiser bike rentals! ) and so welcoming environment than this is your hotel! Staff is amazing, awesome recommendations to near by fun and restaurants were spot on! Thank you for making my birthday Birthday vaca a blast! We will definitely stay here again!

Rooms dated. Rug was filthy. No pool. No elevator. IPhone went missing out of our room. Management less than helpful. Not a good experience. Beware!

Neat cozy place to stay & relax. Not as busy down on the southern end of the promenade and quite nice. Great beach access too… decided to stay another day. Nice staff & very accommodating too. We came on business & will come back for personal too.

I booked a room for my sons beach soccer tournament this past Sunday, then was informed on Monday that the tournament was cancelled. I emailed the hotel (Inn at the Shore) through Expedias website westerday at noon to cancel, and later that evening they emailed me back and informed me I needed to cancel through Expedia. So this morning I called Expedia who informed me they needed authorization from the hotel to cancel. Turns out, Inn at the Shore informed me they have a STRICT policy that they do not cancel reservations if its less than 7 days. 7 days? And if they would have cancelled it yesterday when I emailed them (in which they told me to contact Expedia) this wouldnt even be an issue. A very poor customer service experience for sure!

We checked in Monday June 18, and checked out Friday June 22. Our room was comfortable and clean. The king size bed was excellent. The view was wonderful. The microwave and fridge were a nice addition. The microwave is also a convection oven, a feature we did not need this trip. Plates, bowls, flatware, and cups are provided, as is a coffee maker. … We took advantage of the free bicycles and rode into town. It's a short ride, and the office provided a lock for the bicycles. Our next trip will have the Inn at the Shore at the top of our list for places to stay.

Second time I've stayed here. Absolutely love this place. Great staff, great ambiance, great amenities, and far enough from the city center that it feels secluded, but just a short walk from the city center. Great views! And… free bikes to ride! Really the best deal for the money! Dont miss it!

Loved this place! Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly… even had a welcoming basket for our dog complete with towels and treats! Will definitely stay there again.

Okay… this place has some good stuff. The location is good; it's an easy mile stroll to the main strip in Seaside. Many rooms have fabulous views, the place seems fairly clean and the staff is friendly. Here's the thing… sleep is an important part of my vacation… and you will *not* get a good night's sleep on these beds… I could have curled up on the dining room table and the only difference between that and the bed would have been the blanket and the location. Sadly, this is a deal breaker for me… I will not be back.

Good location, decent prices, nice people. But, worst bed I've ever had in a hotel. In fact, all the furniture was uncomfortable. Couch, chair, bed. But views are fantastic, easy walk to main street, U Street Pub and market. If they get new mattress, I'll be back.

Great view of the beach. Loved the jetted tub in the king suite. Fireplace added a nice touch in the cold nights (we visited the last week in March). Its moderately priced. The staff was amazing. The room was very clean! I would stay here again.

Adorable suite style hotel room right on the ocean beach. Short walk to beach and amazing views from the room. The staff was friendly and the room was immaculately clean. We appreciated the size of the room and how well it was set up for families. Cute extra touch of salt water taffy waiting in our room for us. Loved that the lobby had movies and board games to check out.

Great small establishment right off the beach. Clean room & pleasant staff. I love the little extras in the kitchen area. My husband & I be coming back for another stay in the future.

We stayed at Inn at the Shore last weekend and it was lovely. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. I appreciated that they provided little things like tea, coffee, cream and make up remover cloths. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was also fun to be right on the promenade. We would definitely stay here again!

Room had a good view of the ocean. Clean and inviting. Jacuzzi tub was huge and stocked with soaps and bath salts. Thank you so much to Cindy, Debbie and the cleaning staff. Great experience. Will be back!

Incredible, friendly, energetic staff. They went out of their way to make sure that our stay was great and asked for feedback on how to make it better. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Everything was very clean. My only "negative" remark would be that the beds are not very comfortable, unless you like sleeping on a thin board.

Waste of 700 dollars for 3 nights! The carpet was very dirty and gross! Smelled very dingy and dirty. The cushions on the chairs of the dining table was stained, as well as the carpet. The Wi-Fi and the cable was awful. The Wi-Fi wouldn't work half the time, the cable would freeze up every 20 minutes. The good things about this room, it has a nice set up (kitchenette, 2 bedrooms), great ocean view and friendly staff. Just prepare to feel gross while staying there.

The Inn at the shore was meticulously clean. They have a well laid-out floor plan with a large jacuzzi tub and a beautiful view of the ocean. They allow pets and provided a welcome basket for our dog. The boardwalk allowed us to enjoy the ocean view and the beautiful homes from the Inn at the Shore all the way to downtown Seaside and beyond. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away for a quiet weekend during the off-season.

We use to stay here several times a year in the off season. It was a great affordable weekend getaway. Last time we stayed, our rate was $70/night. New owners have taken over and the prices are a bit absurd without updating anything. The place is dated, but comfy and cozy. There’s nothing fancy here and there aren’t many amenities included. Pets are allowed, which is great, but our room had a slight dog pee odor. There was a big stain on the couch and a few on the rug. Probably where that smell was coming from. The regular price for this room (102) is $140/night. We found a discount on Expedia for $90/night which still seemed high considering it’s October, the rainy off-season, and we stayed on a Wednesday night. We were the only people in the entire place. $140 is absurd. I can stay at high end hotels for less. Even the Best Western at the other end of Seaside charges less for a similar room. We use to really love this place, but we won’t be returning. Price gouging isn’t something I’m willing to support.

Just steps away from the beach on the prom. Room was comfortable and clean. Beach decor and balcony with a little view of the ocean. Hearing the ocean at night to lull you to sleep was priceless.

Clean, beautiful rooms. We had a king room facing the ocean and could see the whole beach from the balcony. Stunning. The front desk staff were so accommodating and kind. The tub is amazing, big enough for two. Definitely will come back again and again!

Phenomenal view. We stayed overnight in the two-bedroom suite, and I felt like I never left home! Welcoming staff, well-prepared room, and completely stocked kitchenware. Soft pillows, non-itchy blankets, a lot of natural light, and reasonable price! No fuss at all. Will book again!

We enjoyed the free movies and the staff was pleasant. They provided enough towels for each person in our family and an extra pillow both which we appreciated. Room was warm but close to beach so opened the window. Only real complaint was the bed sagged.

I stayed in room 103 with a ocean side beautiful view. The included amenities were great and I loved that decor. Netflix was included which was a nice touch.

I booked my room at the last minute, maybe two weeks out, in June of 2015. I didn't look at any photos and I assumed from the price it would be your average motel. But I was surprised to find Inn at the Shore to be practically a resort! I couldn't believe I paid so little for a luxury 2x Queen room with a FIREPLACE and BALCONY! I wasn't expecting that at all. The shower was great too, I love that curved curtain rod (: We didn't get a room with a view, but if you leaned out the balcony enough you could see the beach. No big deal! The location is perfect too if you're not into the hustle and bustle of downtown Seaside. It's at the very end of the Prom, and is directly adjacent to a practically empty beach that is so much cleaner than farther north along the shore. Also, they had bikes available for all guests! I would have taken advantage of them but my partner was inexperienced and fell. Maybe next time!

Clean and great views. The bathroom arrangement in the two bedroom units is odd because the bathrooms that open to each other, but thankfully there is a separating door that locks. Prices were better than surrounding hotels.

Very beautiful setting, and a very beautiful view. The room was immaculate, the service was outstanding, the amenities were plenty, and the location was unbelievable. Very nice room, with very comfortable beds. A pull out couch, a kitchenette, and a fireplace were just a few of the amenities we took advantage of. Situated close to the main shopping area, but far enough away from the noise. Gorgeous place. Highly recommended.

Let's begin with the problem that the inexperience service clerk who rented my room out to another individual. I had made my reservations on a Monday through Expedia to stay in a jacuzzi room for Saturday night. I showed up Saturday morning to see when my room would be available and the clerk struggled to find my reservation on her computer. After 10 minutes of research she finally found my reservation and said that she had already checked my room out to a lady who said she wanted to stay an additional night. The clerk then said she would contact the hotel owner and ask if she would be able to provide us with an upgrade or a free room. And to check back in a few hours later. Later I received a call from the clerk who offered me a downgraded room for the original price I had paid in Expedia which was more than the listed price on their website. When confronted about it, she claimed the business owner was aware of this but stated that's all they could offer. It didn't make sense to pay extra for a room I didn't want because they inconvenienced me with a clerk who rented my room out because she was "just trained trained the week before. "

My husband surprised me with this trip for an early 25th anniversary gift. I loved staying at this hotel. Our room was very nice, clean and relaxing. I loved having the Ocean view. I wished we could have stayed longer but I will come back.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The rooms are well laid out, clean, and well decorated. The staff was gracious and wonderful to deal with. It's far enough from the core of Seaside to be relaxing, if that's what you choose, and close enough to walk when you want to hit the shops. We will be back.

We stayed here during the 2012 Christmas holiday and absolutely loved it. We stayed in a ground floor oceanfront 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen, living room, and 1.1 baths. Absolutely awesome relaxing experience. We borrowed videos from the main office and the kids watched all they wanted in one bedroom while we relaxed in the living room. Our review is also very biased because they had just finished total remodeling and the place smelled like a new house and looked that way too. We didn't want to leave. It was quiet and on the beach. Staff was friendly. I will go there again. Most importantly, I haven't found better value for my money. We cooked our own meals and loved it.

What could be better on a cold Oregon winters night than an ocean front room, very comfortalbe king bed, fireplace, big jacuzzi tub and a dog friendly option at the quiet end of town. Nothing my friends, absolutely nothing.

I love to stay here. The rooms are nice with a Jacuzzi tub and large flat screen tv, but most importantly the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. I like the ground floor units, you can walk out the slider to the prom. Close to beach and there are pet friendly rooms. On the quiet end of the beach.
