Stayed in a riverside king room. Lots of space. Room had pull out couch, microwave, sink outside bathroom, TV, great view.

Nice and friendly staff good food and drink.

Best onion rings I've had in 30 yrs. Great food and Isaac is the best.

Great visit. Traveling between Spokane, Wa & Keizer, Or with my 85 yr old mom. Great halfway point, excellent food & service. Rooms are great and reasonably priced. Very clean. Beautiful view of the river.

Was on a work trip and we ate there my coworkers burger was cold in the middle and was sick for the rest of the day thru the next morning. Wait staff seemed overwelmed but was friendly.

We ate at the grill really nice. Excellent food and good view of the river.

The best hotel in Boardman OR! Great environment and very friendly & attentive staff! I want to specially thank Judy Olvera (Manager) for accommodating us even when they were pretty much all booked! She made sure we had zero inconveniences. I also want to thank Manuela (housekeeper) for always providing the best service with a great smile on her face at all times. Without a doubt I really recommend the River Lodge if you stay in Boardman. Oh and their breakfast is amazing.

We’ve eaten here twice and each time was great. Looks like a great place to visit too.

We held our 1st Family Reunion here and the staff was amazing. Shannon handled the catering and it was delicious, timely, perfect. The most beautiful fruit trays I've ever seen. We had about half of our group at the Lodge and half at the nearby campground. Wonderful time was had by all. Thank you Shannon, Judy, Dani and all the wait staff. You made our stay fantastic. We'll be back Dixie.

Awesome room. Very clean and well stocked. View was gorgeous even with the smoke from far off fires. Service and registration was prompt and friendly! Already booked for next year!

A beautiful and stunning lodge situated on the banks of the Columbia River. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The outdoor hot tub and swimming pool are perfectly placed as is the walking trail along the river. The restaurant is also of excellent quality, though the prices are a tad steep. Still, the various meals are sizable in portion and worth trying out. The French toast and fish and chips were especially good. Edit: This has come to be one of my favorite lodging destinations over the last few years, but I have to leave an unfortunate note and subtract a star. While the restaurant is incredible, do not expect them to actually have the food listed on their menu. The last five meals (over four visits) have been disappointing, where the first menu items we ordered are "out of stock" or "being discontinued, " once even when the 'specials' sign in the lobby was promoting it. They have been out of fish, out of soup, out of bacon, out of biscuits, and once even out of bread. The only thing more obnoxious then this is the fact that the menu is so small, and the servers have never once indicated that some of the menu items are no longer available.

Adorable lodge. Great food from the restaurant. We ate there. We didn't stay overnight. The ladies that work here are always nice.

Great view. Great food. The server was very attentive. Again the view was amazing. You are right on the Columbia River!

Stopped to eat lunch. Got seated quickly, placed our order and were served our drinks in a timely fashion. It went downhill from there. An hour later we were still wating for our food. There were only 9 tables for 3 servers and 4 kitchen staff. We could see one of our entrees sitting under the heatlamp for over 10 minutes waiting for the other 4 meals. The house salad had been sitting for almost half an hour at that point. When the food finally arrived it was good but not an hour and 20 minutes worth of waiting good. In that hour and 20 minutes we did not even have a server check us for drink refills.

This was our second trip and although the food is AWESOME the service stinks. We have waited over 30 min on both trips to be greeted by our server. This trip, another server took over as our server was running around in circles. The one server we did get was great and did a great job but as for service I would say they have a LOT to catch up to. Food is wonderful though, as I said, and overall stay was a plus. Headed back in a week… well see if anything has changed.

Beautiful spot on the river. Good food, nice staff. The best spot for a slightly upscale meal in the Morrow — Boardman area.

Hidden gem! Found this place by accident after unexpectedly needing an extra lodging on a road trip. Beautiful location surprisingly. Nice comfortable rooms. Friendly service. Only reason not 5-star was food service was slow. But great food and great view.

Restaurant is really good just limited in menu options. And I haven't seen it change in 2 yrs. But it's good food great view.

Made reservations for 18 people for 6pm. Server didn't know we were coming. Room was dirty and not setup. Had to wait for our server to setup the room. The lone server did an outstanding job serving 18 people. The food was very good. View of the Columbia River was great. Saw the paddlewheel tour boat go down the river.

Super nice hotel with nice rooms, staff and restaraunt. We could bring our little dog for a $20 pet fee. Its right on the river and hidden from town so it was a surprise that it was even there! Will definitely be back.

Quick service on a Wednesday night for three of us. Happy hour menu is a bargain. Between the three of us we tried five different items and all were excellent. Wait Staff was helpful and checked back often enough to keep drinks refreshed and check on our satisfaction with the food. View of the Columbia is outstanding from any table. Prices were more than fair for product received… a wonderful end to a great day, Thanks!

Great staff of personnel here. Always helpful and very kind. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. It's like being on vacation with the setting next to the water even if you have to work while here. The restaurant has a great selection of food and spirits as well as a great staff. I would be disappointed if I had to come back here for work and couldn't stay at the River Lodge.

My husband and I loved this hotel! Very friendly staff, very well taking care of. Pet friendly. Very accommodating. And a top it off beautiful sunset. A way to spend your anniversary.

Our room had a river view, had dinner and breakfast the next day. This is a beautiful and peaceful place. We would stay there again anytime.

Best food in Boardman. The river view is great. Nice cozy atmosphere. Great place for casual dining.

If you try nothing else from the restaurant get the French toast. Yes I know it's expensive. It's worth every penny.

Good food, reasonable prices, slow service.

I rarely will go somewhere besides my home to eat. I've seen how it smelled, have asked people who were eating dinner here that have reported to me the food here is very good. I can tell you it laid back please to relax and enjoy a little time with your new and old friends You've made here. Terms are set up between bars or taverns to expose the difference that each place provides for your pleasure. Really it provides an increase in customers or foot traffic if you will in the hopes increasing your customer base.

The hotel is pretty nice (best in the area for sure). Rooms are good sized. Nothing fancy, but nothing spectacular either. The restaurant had pretty good food as well, but on the slow side for service. Prices were all around pretty reasonable for both the hotel and restaurant.

We have stayed here on several occasions and have enjoyed our stays. Kids love that they decorate for holidays too. My only issue is that they don't offer a Continental or quick breakfast option. While they do have a restaurant, it's not quick and cost prohibitive on top of the room cost… The food is just not that good and not worth the cost in our opinion but there's not many options in the immediate area so we end up bringing our own food or eating elsewhere.

We were camping near Mt. Adams, when a ranger stopped by camp to tell us we needed to evacuate due to a fire. It was 9 at night. We got off the mountain to find the surrounding hotels were full. We drove in the direction of Home and called hotels/motels as we drove through. Full. It was a Sunday night on Labor day weekend. We were able to call the Lodge and they had one room, perfect for my family of 3. When I asked them how to reserve the room, they said no worries, we'll see you when you arrive. Not only was this a blessing to finally find an availability, but the lodge discounted the rate for us after we told them of the fire. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spotless, and the shower had excellent water pressure! We will be back to fully experience this hidden gem, under better circumstances!

I travel with my dogs, and this has been the best hotel that we have stayed at so far. There is a walk path, the pet friendly rooms have a dog bed, food and water dishes, and there is room service so you can still get restaurant food without having to lock the dogs up. The staff is super friendly. The pet potty area is a small park that gives them plenty of room to find the right spot. If you have a pet you will be glad you stopped here.

River lodge and grill sponsored our bass clubs championship so I decided to take my fiance there to see what it was about. Great food, excellent hot-tub and pool overlooking the River. Clean rooms, and all for very reasonable rates.

So clean! We chose this hotel because of its great reviews. We didn't eat at the restaurant, due to it being out of budget for our trip, but the staff were friendly and the rooms were very roomy and clean. I wish it wasn't so smokey outside! If we come through again, we will be back :)

Beautiful setting on the Columbia River. Even if you don't stay in a room with a river view, enjoy the patio! Soak up the sun. Go for a walk along the riverfront east to the Port of Morrow or west to the marina. The Lodge has a couple bicycles in the entry… I was there on business so didn't inquire about using them. Rooms are large and fairly quiet even on the ground floor. Mini-fridge, microwave, standard in-room coffee. Nice, thick towels. My mattress was very, very firm. Restaurant offers river views and has a loft, if you will, for catered meals. Prime rib banquet dinner was superb. Server and cooks accommodated our group of 20-plus for breakfast on our own in the restaurant. I was impressed they got us in and out in less than 45 minutes — — plenty of time to walk to our meetings. I'd love to go back for a leisurely stay. Be sure to visit the SAGE Center to learn about food grown and processed in the area.

What a great find! For us it was a perfect resting point between Boise and Seattle. Great accommodations and great food too! The staff was super friendly, helpful and and professional. Oh and yeah, the Columbia River!

Although this property is not considered a 5 star hotel, it definitely deserves 5 stars in my rating review. This hotel is clean, organized, comfortable and facilitating. The hotel has decent rooms/beds, full service restaurant & bar, pool/hot tub & exercise room, proactive and consistent service and management with plenty of parking. This location even offers conference rooms and meeting space. After all that, the grounds of the property are very attractive with nice walking paths and beautiful scenery and beach front. This is a must stay if you pass by Boardman OR… Stayed for a month on business, and rooms are clean and service is wonderful, they have pool heated with hot tub, and room service, food is great! I'll be back.

Absolutely beautiful Lodge-hotel complete with rustic lobby and lots of hardwood accents. The rooms are spacious, clean and more than adequate. The service is friendly and cheerful. The views of the river especially at sunset are gorgeous. The food at the grill is delicious. I had a chicken fried steak sandwhich topped with bacon and coleslaw that was surprisingly tasty! My only complaint is the smell from soon to be retired Portland General Electric Plant nearby. Otherwise I'd give this location five stars.

I have stayed here multiple times. The rooms are nice and very quiet. The view of the Columbia was great. Would recommend to anyone. Best place to stay in Boardman, by far.

We actaully just stumbled onto the River Lodge and decided since we were in the area we might as well eat lunch at the grill. The food and customer service were fantastic, the Lodge is beautiful, we are thinking about booling a night sometime when the weather is better so we can enjoy more of the Columbia River.

Love this place. Very adult place to stay or go to eat. Right on the Columbia River. Best and largest prime rib I've ever been served. Fantastic menu. Gluten free choices. View room's. We have stayed several time's here.

It's a hotel where people can stay overnight. There is beds available, rooms all have a shower and sheets. Also has parking and a front desk. Road access is excellent. Electricity stayed on the whole time. Lights were bright and non flickering. No bed bugs as far as I know. There was water, and it was even hot. Windows were glass, beds had a mattress. Doors were nice AND locking. 10/10

Nice, big room and beautiful location on the river. However plan on eating somewhere else. Long wait times due to under staffing. Two young girls (1 waitress and 1 hostess), both of whom remained friendly despite the overwhelming work they were doing, could not accommodate the number of people wanting to eat dinner. Extremely disappointed in my meal, a rib eye steak dinner. For $27 you would expect a nice thick cut cooked to medium rare like I ordered it. What I got was the thinnest steak I have ever seen, not much more than a McDonald's hamburger patty and not even a bit pink. Pretty shocking for the price they were charging. Breakfast was no better for service, only one waitress running the entire show but the eggs benedict was pretty good. Just had to wait a long time to get it.

What a wonderful place! Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and delicious food! Put this spot on your must stay list while traveling along the Columbia River. Service is great, best quality of food you can get in the Boardman area. Prices are a bit higher than I like but overall a great place to eat.

We went for lunch, the experience was good, the food was good and it was delivered quickly. The service was good. The prices are a little higher than I like but not unreasonable.

I had the grilled chicken salad and it was fairly large and we'll proportioned for toppings. I would say it would be nicer to have all the toppings mixed into the salad instead of segmented on the top. I would also add that the portion of dressing is too small for my tastes and how big the salad is.

Very quiet and spacious rooms with lots of amenities. This trip was the first time I experienced an "ice-fog" weather phenomenon, so if you're a traveler with a rental, be cautious in the winter months,

The resteraunt food is pretty darn good. Ive had about half their menu and always great. Pleasant surprise. Service is ok. Cant say anything about the hotel.

My company gave them a card to hold the room, cover the room for a week and the restaurant on site. I checked in and found out they needed my card for incidentals. They charged my card for the whole week. When I checked in the person at the front desk had no idea what he was doing. When I questioned the lady the next day she told me my card was not charged. She flat lied to my face and I called her on it. I won't stay here again which is to bad because I come out here quite often for business. Don't waste you're time.

Would've Been Nice But. Kind of funny calling and being told I was on a waiting list for an available room for almost a week, called everyday to check for openings and check to see if my name was still on the list. To have a coworker call in the day he arrives and gets a room, my name and info just seemed to have disappeared. I've stayed here before and liked it but guess you can treat people however you want when you're the only nice place in town. I will be sure to notify my company about this, good luck getting our business back and I'll give a ring to the project manager for a pretty large construction project going on in Boardman about this. Since there are no available rooms in town I have been tenting it in the rain but you guys don't have any rooms available but seem to be still booking rooms.

A group of us stayed at this hotel based on a wonderful experience our friends had the year before. The hotel was very nice, the problems are in the lounge. We were a party of 4 couples and during dinner specified separate checks. Drinks and appetizers were served right away but it took a long time for the food to show. One order was cold and after returning it was only slightly warmer (no thank you I’m no longer hungry). Another order forgotten, arrived after the rest of us had finished eating and was barely cooked. It was returned twice before it was edible. It took over 2 1/2 hours to get through this meal. Then the check arrives only to find that the billing system charges by table not separately. The waitress had to manually review and handwrite the orders and amounts. I felt sorry for the waitresses, none of these issues were any fault of theirs. They took the Rap for poor management! We asked to speak to the manager and told him of our issues with the food and check system. The mans demeanor was less than professional. Dressed in casual cloths and long jacket with a large “Starbucks” He a appeared to be just “stopping by” He try’d to explain away the difficulties we were having as being caused by a new billing software that was installed (at a cost of $20, 000) Not even an apology was offered. What a jerk.

The lodge is a somewhat overpriced Motel 6 with most of the same furnishings. It's easy to see where they saved on construction as you can hear everything that happens above you, and in rooms to either side. Even the doors in the rooms are cheap and don't stop any sound from the hallway! The view of the river is superb, however, and that's probably the best selling point — if you really have to stay in Boardman. Otherwise drive a little further to Hermiston or Pendleton where you'll get a lot more for your money. The front desk clerk was very friendly, and overall the place was as clean as any cheaper motel in Oregon. Save yourself $40 and a bad night's rest.

I have stayed many many nighrts in this hotel while working as construction manager for a nearby wind farm project that is now complete. Great location, good room amenities, attractive place, reasonable price. Best place within 100 miles. My criticism is with the restaurant. It is also the only really "nice" restaurant within 100 miles but In my opiniion it only gets a B+. At this A+ location it should be an A+ restaurant. The prices are certainly A+. Needs a tuneup.
