Great space and design. Super comfortable. Love the modern design.
If you don’t expect much from a hotel, don’t want body wash or shampoo in your room upon check in, don’t want housekeeping to take care of the items they did not do originally upon check in and just want an overall below average hotel…then this place is for you. Want better? Go somewhere else.
Awesome and amazing is an understatement! Best kept secret so don’t tell anyone, okay? 🤭
We enjoyed the room, especially the view of the city, however the lack of AC is a bit too turn someone away, in the “ lobby” it is great in your room, your employees were great but making them work in that condition, & being understaffed 😟… 4/5 stars ⭐️ 🌟 💫 🌟
This was my second stay at aloft Tulsa downtown. The first time was not very eventful. Ohh but this time what a nightmare! NO HOT water … the phone in the room did not work so we called them with out cell phone. They sent some guys up they work on it for about 30min. After saying it was good to go… yay right?! Well when we got back that even after a long day…COLD water was all we could shower with. Also I had to walk to the lobby to request more towels at about 8pm… they showed up to the room at 10:15pm with towels. WOW just wow! Carlos was not willing to do anything with our bill… we could not even shower that is insane when you are paying over $240 a night! He said next time we can get free parking and breakfast… what a joke of a manager and customer service.
Our room was nasty, black mold around the window, hair in the bed. Totally disgusting. Our daughters room was horrible, thermostat did not work correctly. Management was of no help what so ever. Lobby was nasty. I cannot believe that Marriott would associate themselves with such a disgusting property. They did nothing to help or compensate us for the inconvenience. Do not stay at this property!
Nothing has changed over an 11 hr period. The receptionist offered to leave a note for the building engineer. This helps me how? We will not return. A motel 6 would have better AC. Sad.
This hotel is a huge letdown. Our room had unfinished walls. We had selected a queen suite with a couch we did not get the couch instead we got a strange table in an unfinished, concrete room. This hotel advertises it has a bar, but that bar is closed permanently. They blame it on Covid. We stayed for three days. At no point in time, until we asked about it,! did we learn that they do not service your room if you’re there for more than one day. There is only one employee that seems to be on staff at any time because that’s the employee that brings you anything and I believe cleaned your room. We did not see any housekeepers the entire time we were there. There were hardly any customers there. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Tulsa and it’s horribly taken care of. The general manager needs to be ashamed of himself. And possibly fired. I’m not sure who runs the Aloft properties, but I will never stay in another one. Zero Stars. June 1-3, 2021.
I will never stay at an Aloft hotel. I had a reservation for the Route 66 marathon. The race was cancelled. I cancelled the room several times and never received email confirmation. I was charged $154.38 and never stayed. I tried calling the GM several times and no one returned my call. I filed a dispute and was not refunded my money. Aloft is terrible and I will never recommend it to anyone.
Great place to have events and relaxing atmosphere to get well needed rest.
Dog-friendly. Pandemic hygiene conscious. Friendly staff.
BED BUGS! This hotel needs a protocol in place to respond to customer complaint, compassion, and sense of urgency! This hotel had none of these things but to simply change your rooms. I saw an “unfed” nymph bed bug in my bed in Rm at 10pm Friday 11/27, killed it and quietly presented to the front desk immediately. I was offered a smaller room to move to since there were no more suites available. The front desk clerk tried getting ahold of management with no luck. I had … Lire la suite.
Very much such a great place.
Always a nice place and close to BOK.
Great service at front desk. Room was spacious with higher end soaps, lotion etc. Bed was very comfortable tooo.
The air conditioning would not cool. Staff stated that every room on the west side of the building was hot. At 11:00pm, they moved me from my room at 80 degrees, to another room at 76 degrees. I couldn’t sleep, so I was forced to find another motel at midnight. I won’t be back!
When I stayed I was told I was being charged a $50 deposit for insidentals. After a night of horrible experiences having to switch rooms because the air was not working in them I attempted to check out. Being as there was no damage to the room I expected to get my deposit back and instead they charged my card $235. When I tried to figure out what was going on and why I had been charged that way the woman at the front desk started making up reasons to add charges to my stay that made no sense I asked to speak with a manager and get information on their policies and instead of providing any reason they called the police on me.
Excellent location and VERY friendly staff! The best perk was the free shuttle that saved us parking fees downtown during dinner and the BOK concert. We will definitely be back!
Great hotel! And Antonio is the best shuttle driver ever! — с Franca Rivera-Duchon.
Overall we love the Aloft, however this wasn’t the best experience. We wanted to go swimming but since they had the wrestling kiddos at BOK broke the ladders so we couldn’t do that. The bartender was awesome! We experienced some pretty good and bad downtown establishments, but all in all it was fun. Jackhammers starting early morning Saturday sucked. Rise and Shine. We will be back but will wait until construction next door is done.
Amazing staff! Convenient for going to the BOK. The flower thing on the staff's jackets makes them look like clowns, but their service kills are the best I have seen in any hotel!
They double charged our credit card for the room (the room was reserved and paid for in full on a booking website by my husband and they charged the room again directly when the card was put on file for incidentals). After speaking with them over 2 weeks ago in person face to face and being assured a refund would be issued, they still have not refunded the amount of the double charge. Now I have to lodge a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back, and thankfully I have receipts showing the entire situation. Be careful giving them your card.
Rooms were good, location was great, and they offer a free shuttle. Beds were ok for a hotel (not great not terrible). My only real complaint is the breakfast. Online states free breakfast, but we had to pay for a hot breakfast and I found a hair in my food. Other than that the stay was good and room was a great price.
The hotel was amazing and great staff. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the breakfast was lacking and not very many choices. I was expecting toast or something but it was all bowls with poached eggs. I would stay again but wouldn't purchase the breakfast voucher. Also, on our travel page it said it would be $125 with taxes and breakfast but on our bill it was the room plus 2 breakfast plus parking. It should have only be around $135 with parking but our bill was over $150. That was my fault for not asking about it then and there but this is so people can ask what they're purchasing.
Listen! When you travel with a family of 5, the room needs to be perfect! This hotel was EVERYTHING! Like seriously, EVERYTHING! Let's start with location… we walked to the cox center, breakfast, lunch and dinner without complication. Location was PERFECT! Can we take a minute to talk about the room… the kids screamed at the modern style and sleek look of the room! The beds were comfortable, and the little sitting room allowed them the space they needed to chat, watch TV and argue while we parents rested. I saved the best for last… THE STAFF! Guys! They are ALL AMAZING. Not like one or two people but the guy behind the bar, every single person behind the desk to the people that clean the rooms and maintain the building. It was 100 degrees outside when we visited, and our air went out in our room. We were visiting for a HUGE volleyball tournament, so the hotel was booked solid. I just knew this was going to be MY problem and a WHOLE FIGHT. They tried to fix the unit when it was convenient for us and then when they couldn’t fix it RIGHT AWAY… wait for it… they moved HEAVEN AND EARTH to make it right! Found a room that was suitable for our large family WITH excellent air conditioning! Again, the entire staff was awesome but the General Manager ROY CHARTIER checked on us constantly to make sure we were taken care of. This gentleman went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND! I will stay here every single time I come to Tulsa and that is 100% because of Roy and the staff he employs!
The front desk staff Ann and Antonio greeted my wife and I with great big smiles and were so happy to see that we made it safe. They asked if there was anything that we needed and I jokingly replied how about an upgrade. Well unbeknownst to me they upgraded our room from a king to a corner sweet. Back side to this story in April my wife's father passed away and we stayed at Aloft downtown for 10 days in a corner sweet. The staff at this hotel are so wonderful. Thank you both for being kind a great people.
The room was on the top floor. Great view except for the TV being in front of the middle window. Which took away a lot of the open view. It was hard to find were to park at first. Over all nice place.
It was good. We had a corner suite. The pool is tiny. And our room was dark once the sun went down. But it was good. The price was fair. I like the noon check out.
So, we are in Tulsa and decided to try out a hotel we had never visited. The Aloft Tulsa Downtown, I have usually stayed at the Aloft Tulsa-Woodland Hills. From the outside it is cool looking, but dated. The inside more than makes up for it. The tower itself is located smack in the middle of “Civic Center” and was constructed in 1968 as Tulsa City Hall. In 2007, City hall moved to One Technology Center, and in 2013, the former city hall was converted to the Aloft. I have stayed in several Aloft hotels, this one is by far one of the coolest, the history of the building, the layout, it all works together to make for a great experience. The best part is the WXYZ Lounge is semi separate from the main hotel tower (linked by hallway) so I can’t hear it from my room.
This was by far the worst Aloft I have been to and would not recommend to anyone. The pool had trash floating around (hair, weaves, cups), the bar opens at 5 and closes at 12, when the front counter said it was 4pm-2am, not sure why this would be when a big concert was happening. Bathroom for the pool was locked and no towels for us. The front counter was told this and no fix happened. The trash was cleaned out with the cleaning basket by myself. One bartender for a packed night for a concert had a line down the whole bar entry, and the bartender was nice but just complained the whole time that the other on no showed. Our room was clean, but the AC was minimal and the front desk said it was due to the full capacity. They raise the price due to the event in town but the standards go way down. I fell like myself and the other couple with us should be getting our money back for this horrible experience. We decided to stay here based on the convenience but $169+ a night for terrible amenities they claim to have.
Beautiful hotel! You definitely wouldn't expect it from the outside but it's quite refreshing and the rooms are beautiful. The pool could use some shade of you're watching your kiddos swim, but other than that I would totally recommend.
This place is great! They treat you like royalty! From GM Roy, to bartender Ryan, to shuttle driver Umberto, you’d think you were staying at The Ritz. Plenty of parking too! Close to so many restaurants and bars. Was a Hilton guy until this was the only place available one trip. Roy was so nice to me, I now stay here every time I come to Tulsa.
NOTE: I gave management 3 days to call/write me to rectify this situation and she never did. So now I will share my experience publicly. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a very, very long time. Toilet didn't flush… sheet was torn… water pressure was horrible… AC took hours to get cool… shuttle to pick me up from the airport took more than 30 minutes (not because of traffic, but because the driver went too far past the gate and didn't feel like circling back so he just waited without telling me) … for a "new" hotel, it looks rundown. There are other and better places to stay in Tulsa than this… and probably more responsive management.
Very nice! They even have a shuttle to take you where you need to go. As long as it's within their set distance. It was great for me because I didn't know the area. And our hotel was downtown so everywhere was paid parking. The room was clean and everything worked like it was supposed to. There's a bar downstairs that sometimes has live entertainment and also a game room. The staff was amazing, anything we needed it was addressed right away. And the view from our room was awsome expecially at night. My family and I had a great time in Tulsa. We will definitely be back.
Honestly, not a great experience. I came here on a business trip with my husband and have been pretty disappointed with the quality of the place, especially considering the price. The Wi-Fi has never worked properly while we’ve been there. They offered to take $20 dollars off the bill but aside from restarting it, no effort to actually fit the problem. Since work is paying, and I have to work, I’d rather have Wi-Fi than the $20. We were also woken up in the middle of the night by maintenance who came to fix AC but came to the wrong room. The room itself is poorly laid out unless traveling solo, the bathroom light lights up the entire room when getting up in the night or trying to let your partner sleep in. There were also cobwebs in our room and access to hotel was super difficult because of construction (not their fault but added to the experience). The only upside is they are dog friendly. Updated to add that the bar advertises a snack menu. We stopped at 9pm for something to eat and they had literally nothing. This place is absolutely not worth the price.
I liked the hotel for the reason it is in walking distance of the event…
I guess I probably shouldn’t of assumed that $130 a night hotel downtown would have food and basic amenities. After I got settled in I went to the bar and asked the bartender if they had any food. She replied “yeah but it’s just the food that I make and we’re out of everything because we had a busy weekend “ there’s a great little place down the street that you can walk to, she said. I had a long day and I didn’t feel like walking anywhere so I said I’ll just order a pizza in. Was relaxing after I ordered my pizza and the delivery driver called and said you’re going to have to come downstairs and get it yourself they won’t let me deliver it to your Room. The next morning I needed to print some documents. I asked the gentleman at the front desk if he had a business center and he replied “kind of it’s right down there but we don’t have a printer or anything like that” The rooms are cool and all, but they’re not so cool that makes up for the lack of basic amenities like food, business center etc. That I assume that most hotels have. I guess you can say I was expecting more from a hotel located downtown.
They state free breakfast. Be aware that is coffee and fruit (apple, orange, banana). ALL other food is for sale only. They do have a good selection and costs aren't huge, but for someone looking to feed a family and anticipating free breakfast-good info to have. Only microwave is downstairs, again just info to be aware of. Friendly, nice rooms and vibe!
I stayed there last night. First time at an Aloft hotel, won't be the last time. Great place that with a few tweaks would make it an Excellent place and yes still deserving of five stars. Challenge one… telling people somewhere maybe on the website how to actually get to the hotel entrance. I was laughing about it but realistically most people will not. Took a few tries and some thought to realize the entrance is not where Google Maps thinks it is nor where you would expect it to be. Just pretend you are a secret agent searching for a hidden driveway to some hidden lair and it will. Make it better. When you leave the lot don't think rationally, do what seems wrong. Be prepared to back up a few times. I say all of this laughing. It was just funny. The staff was great. The room was great. It was perfect after a long day on the road and I felt like I was at a best friend's house. The bar was great, the overall atmosphere was outstanding. I loved the shampoo and body wash on the wall but not the flood. Challenge two… stop the shower from leaking on the floor. Not easy I know but worrisome. If that's the worst there is I am as satisfied as can be and will recommend to anyone visiting Tulsa. I personally will stay again. Central to lots of things and just overall a nice place. I'm not looking for the Palace at Versailles on my trip, I want somewhere comfortable with a great room and a friendly staff that makes me feel at home. This place did it all.
Nice, quiet and clean. Great location, not much going on the weekend I was there however the locals are friendly and will help give you ideas or directions of things to do. I was there on business and I'll use it again when I return. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service is provided as well.
The room was fine. The beds are not comfortable at all! The front desk people were friendly and helpful, HOWEVER the gentleman at the front desk told us that they had to put a $50 incidental fee on our card (I had already previously paid for the room) but that it would be taken off in the morning at checkout. When it was not taken off I began trying to contact the hotel. 3 days, 17 phone calls, and 2 email attempts later I FINALLY got someone on the phone who proceeded to let me know it could be up to 30 DAYS before the hold comes off! I will NEVER stay here again. I should have stayed at the Hyatt like I originally planned!
I've stayed at this location a couple times. It's okay, nothing fancy. There was a new main entrance this time and it took me quite a while to find out how to get parked in the right place. They charge $10 for parking (which is high considering the event parking literally right next door was only $5). They also charge for breakfast and forgotten toiletries which many other hotels in the area do not — so by the time you add up all the nickels & dimes the total stay can add up to more than what you would have paid at a neighboring property with a higher room rate. We chose this location due to the outdoor heated pool for the kids to swim. It is a pretty small pool and only goes to 4ft deep so its good for kids but it wasn't lighted properly (I looked everywhere for somewhere to turn on outdoor lights) and the chairs were strewn all over the place and there were only a few towels available. That being said, the views from the upper floors are fantastic, the room was clean and nicely arranged and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk was beyond courteous and not just "its my job to be nice" kind of courteous but genuinely friendly, helpful & accommodating. They made what would have been a 3 star review a 4.
Awesome hotel with an awesome staff and vibe. They accidentally over booked our room type and upgraded us to a corner suite for free. Because of that, we now look for Aloft Hotels anywhere we travel and have never been disappointed!
Clean, quiet, great location, magnificent staff, superb in every way. For what you get, the price can't be beat! I stay here on every visit to Tulsa now that I know about Aloft. I've stayed at 5 other hotels in prior visits and none can compare. I won't stay any where but here!
I travel nearly every week for my job, so I regularly stay at hotels Monday through Thursday each week. I have always had good experiences at SPG properties, but the Aloft downtown Tulsa has gone above and beyond. The staff, especially the Manager, are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. It's easy to say they've made the Aloft feel like home over the last month that I've been staying here.
This is an awesome hotel There is, indeed, an outside heated pool next to the bar. And it is pet friendly. Best free coffee bar ever This is the concert hotel of dreams. right next to BOK Thanks Blake, food & beverage manager for awesome food and drinks.
I had stayed here a couple of times before, and they were pretty pleasant, with minor inconveniences that were quickly resolved. But this last time I stayed, it was absolutely horrible. We stayed in the middle of the summer and our A/C didn't work at all. We immediately reported it, and they sent someone to fix it, but after they looked at it, it still didn't work. When we reported it again, they said they will get a room ready for us to change to, but a couple hours later, they said that they didn't have any other rooms for us to change to. They compensated us for the problem, which we greatly appreciate, but we will not be staying here again during the summer.
The employees (front desk, shuttle driver, and housekeepers) are all super friendly and attentive. The rooms were updated/modern and generally clean. The only reason I took off a star is because there was something on the floor. Not sure if it could be removed from the carpet or not, but it made that part of the carpet look dirty.
Charged for a room because I missed the 6pm cancellation deadline (which no other hotel has) by an hour. They lost a customer for life to gain $146. Will never be back. Go to any other hotel, each one has better cancellation policies.
This hotel is very modern inside and offers a much better price for large rooms. Usually I can get a suite for the same price as a regular room at one of the more centrally located Tulsa downtown hotels. The bar area is fun and it is a nice place to chill.
It was a bit difficult to look for the entrance but other than that it went well.
OUTSTANDING! The rooms were spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfortable, the staff met my Every request promptly and with a smile. I have stayed in some of the nicest hotels in the world and this one ranks right up there! Heartally recommended!
Okay, the good fellow who answered my call by the name of Brock, deserves a promotion. I called ten to fifteen times from saturday night 7pm, to 130am Sunday morning, attempting to contact a human, and he, apparently, is the only one with ears that hear a phone. Aside from that, it was a great place to stay. Be weary of the enterance to the downtown location, took us forever to find. Clean, modern room. Priced well. Next time, will call again, but only reserve a room if somebody answers a phone.
The conference room was really nice. The customer service was great. When we had an issue with the room we were relocated and given free breakfast.
I live in Tulsa so when I've visited Aloft it was for the amenities, it has a neat heated rooftop type pool that my daughter likes the room was nice except for cleanliness of the room. The bathroom specifically was so gross, they're was dried on mucus or something on the sink fixtures and glass when I asked for it to be cleaned was treated with hostility as if I had done something wrong. Also they charge you nightly a fee of 10 dollars to park which your not informed of until you check out. Overall I was just unhappy as to how I was treated I've worked in the service industry and for the life of me cannot figure out why things were handled the way they were. I won't return nor will I suggest this location to people in the future.
It's hip and modern, and cool that it's a repurposed city hall (didn't know until we checked in, poor marketing in my opinion). Extremely difficult to find entrance at first, and parking seems really shady. Felt like I was in an abandoned parking structure at first. No signage, nothing to get you to the lobby. Bad first impression for sure, which is a bummer as hotel is pretty nice. Really don't like the barn style bathroom door. Felt like I might as well leave it open as it only offered gas station level privacy. It's not bad, just needs a bit of improvement.
This hotel is hip and modern. Aloft is always clean, offers free Wi-Fi and is a good value. The parking lot entrance has recently changed so it's a bit difficult to find the entrance. I highly recommend this for personal or professional lodging.
Nice and modern decor. Cheap room prices are made up with no free breakfast and pay for parking onsite ($5/day). Still enjoyed my stay at this centrally located hotel.
Beds were comfy. Super modern. I guess parking may be an issue but it was surprisingly great.
This is a great example of a re-purposed historic structure — it is the former city hall of Tulsa. It is unfortunate that Aloft does not choose to highlight this fact in their marketing, as it goes a long way to explaining some aspects of the hotel that seem to generate negative comments. If you know going in that you are staying in a historic (albeit on the modern side of historic) building, then the design choices, along with the location, make sense. Way more fun than a generic hotel!
I got a room there cheaper than some other hotels that are not as nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is a bit odd and hard to get in and out of, but otherwise pleasant experience.
Location was good. Had a light out in our room as well as stains on the ceiling but over all clean. Nice staff. Hated that we had to pay for parking and the bar didn't have good wine options. Also no bath tubs, only badly lit showers…
Clean great service. Kept my cc I left at the bar for me to pick up later. Would recommend.
Visiting Tulsa for my husband's college reunion. The aLoft hotel was where we chose to stay as it did give discounted rate for the event. Its a very unique hotel. Quite different than ones we've usually stayed at. Rooms are set up differently but its a good kind if different. About the same space as normal hotel room but the way its set up utilizes the space much better especially if its just 2 of you. Not sure how the suites would be for a family. Will say its probably utilized and enjoyed a little more by a younger crowd such as college aged students, but that being said, its also just fine and enjoyable for couples and families as well. Staff went out of there way and got us anything we needed very quickly. They also offer $5 voucher for going green and re-using towels and linens for each day that you do that and it can be used anywhere in hotel that has food, drinks, and snacks, which is quite handy. Also have free coffee and lemon water in lobby for guests 24/7 and small convenient type store. I love it, and its uniqueness and have no complaints thus far as with the last hotel I stayed at.
So I stayed this weekend. They didn’t have but one towel in my room one towel was on the floor. Then we decided to go down the bar to have drink bar tender was pretty cool, but the were out of a lot of liquor and was told they didn’t have a drink menu or food. When we came back from our event we went to bar again. This time different bar tender she was not as nice and she got mad at something threw some cups in a sing and water went all over my wife and me and another gentleman sitting there. She didn’t even say sorry or anything. Just for that bs we will not stay here again. I have stayed at several Alofts and this would be the worst one ever.
Old building w/o many amenities but usually a good deal and a decent hotel. Interesting area being among the federal buildings but a good location regardless. Clean.
The hotel was nice. The beds were comfortable and I love the fact that there are multiple outlets and a charging station. I do wish the barn door on the bathroom didn't leave a 2 inch gap when closed, though!
The hotel was very nice. However, the experience was soured by the poor management. Our group was there to do a beer tasting. We had arranged a location ahead of time out by the pool. However, when we arrived and started drinking we were told we weren't allowed to open our bottles there. To my knowledge, no alternative space was offered. Luckily some nice people staying on the 9th floor offered their rooms up to have the tasting.
Check in was a nightmare. We followed the GPS and found the hotel easily. When we pulled in there where signs telling us where check in was but the doors were locked. There were others as well trying to figured out where to go. I finally had to call someone a d they sent someone to open the door. When we got to the desk the guy check us in was very snarky. When we told him we couldn't find the door he told us we should habe come in a different way. We told him we followed the GPS and he said well it isn't always right, you should have called. I have never had to call a hotel to find the front desk. Ever! We got checked in and they have these baby carts that didn't even hold 4 bags. We make do and get to our room, only to find it's the wrong room. I call the front desk and they quickly change the room. Once we are finally in the room it was better. The beds were amazing. My only issue here is the air would blast for 5 minutes and shut off for 10. So the temps were never really regulated. Over all not staying here again. The staff except for one guy, were rude and snarky when asked question. The rooms, while the beds where great, the temps were horrible.
The hotel was easy to find with the gps. Since it's downtown you need to pay for parking, but you can get the parking pass at check-in and have it added to the bill. I was greeted with a friendly smile from Taylor the front desk clerk when I arrived in the evening and he gave me a greet dinner suggestions. I took him up on the Mr. Nice Guys taco place… yummy! The room is spacious and the bed was a little bit of heaven. Wish I was staying more than two nights. Make sure to check out the Center of the Universe and the Golden Driller while in town… also really cool Art Deco in the downtown area.
Was visiting a friend who is staying there while in town. I love what they've done with the place! You'd never know that it used to be the Tulsa city hall! Rooms are so nice and modern!
My stay wasn't very satisfying. Our room was hot, the bathroom didn't seem to be thoroughly cleaned. There was water marks all over the shower head and pink/orange mold all over the crevices of the shower. The floor also didn't seem to be cleaned either. We booked a room for two nights. After being in the room for a couple hours, the room still hadn't cooled down. We had it set at 65 and it didn't go below 77. So they upgraded us to a suite and promised it would be much cooler. After moving all of our stuff to a whole new floor and room, we got settled in and had the same problem. They switched us to different rooms the whole two days we stayed, so it ended up being a total of 6 different rooms and still none of them seem to have working a. C. Also. After being switched to our 6th room I went in to use the bathroom and noticed the door was a little tough to close, but I got it and then when I tried getting out I was literally stuck in the bathroom and had to have my boyfriend come pry the door open and he even struggled to get it open. He then took a look at it and it was off track and screws were missing. The bartender Row was the best part of our stay. She was super friendly, made the most perfect drinks, and always made sure that we were okay and satisfied while being down at the bar. If I were to come back to Tulsa, I would honestly not stay there again, but I would be sure to drop in to the bar a get a drink from Row. She deserves 5 stars!
It was definitely an interesting hotel, but you could tell they attempted to build everything as cheaply as possible. The air was very sub par, the rooms hardly made it above 74 degrees, and they were horribly humid making for a miserable night of sleep. The pool can hardly even be called such. It's only 2 — 4ft deep, and it's about as big as a large spa tub. The only saving grace of this place was the interesting architecture, friendly staff, convenient downtown location, and the bar/pool table area.
I particularly did not find this place to be all that. We checked in at 4 am. My family was driving from Colorado and booked two reservations at this hotel. I do not find it neither reasonable nor considerate that I was charged $100 for both rooms. Yes, I do understand that it is $50 per reservation and it will be refunded, but why couldn't this company just hold $50 for both rooms, since both were under the same name. (It's not like we were going to trash one room and leave! ) Now I'm out of $100 for now. Yes to some that may not be a lot, but that's 1/3 of my paycheck… I must say that the room was very nice and the bed comfortable, but the fact that our shower head was broken is unacceptable to me considering that they should be cleaning these rooms (at least I hope) on top of the shower head being broken there was also make up smudges on the wall, which makes me wonder how thorough do they clean these rooms. The clock was also not plugged in, in not too sure if that's how this hotel runs or if the staff was just being lazy and don't want to do any work, considering that they didn't realize that the shower head was broken and the make up smudges all on the bathroom wall (I guess someone forgot their wipes)
Located in the middle of silly one-way streets, and terrible construction. Bathroom doors in the room are designed so they don't really close, and there is a frosted glass window from the room into the shower. The carpet is subpar. The air conditioning is cold, which is good. The rooms are quiet. The TV is working.
Aloft Tulsa Downtown is about 20 minutes from the airport so after our flight was cancelled, our family was given vouchers to this hotel. The wall decor of the suite we were given had some concrete portions which looked nice. The check in staff were kind enough to also give us a free tube of toothpaste for our one night stay and their service was on point. They also helped us find a taxi the morning back to the point.
I was really disappointed in this hotel. I've stayed at Alofts in the past in other cities and all were simply amazing. When I checked in, I did not know I had to pay for parking. I was charged $10 and I seen $5 parking signs (no signs had fine print just cost and parking). My shower was too hot no matter where I move the dial. I called room service and asked how do you know what's cold or hot, and she didn't know. I had a stain on my couch and coffee stains on the nightstand and covering the channel card. I forgot my tooth paste and I called down to ask if they had complimentary toothpaste and they said they had none. I've never been to Tulsa before and what great experience I had at Alofts prior has changed after this one night experience. I would continue to do business with Alofts, but I will not come back to this hotel in the future.
The room was perfect, staff was perfect the only thing I have to say bad about it was the fact we didn't have trash bags in the trash cans. So with that the visit was amazing! It was our first night alone from three kids in over 3 years!
Very contemporary. Nice bar and pool table area. Fitness area is nice. Comfortable bed. I would recommend to others.
If you give the guy $200 cash he wont put your credit card or name on file. This might save you 18 years of child support. Def worth the $200+120 for room.
Nice room. Very comfortable. Parking was a little awkward, but there is construction going on, so no big deal. I was however charged twice for a one night stay. Called back to get issue fixed, nothing can be done until Monday. Pretty sure it will be a few days after that at least before I get my funds back. Not real happy about that situation.
Great place to stay in Tulsa. Modern, enthusiastic, well trained staff. Nice amenities including a bar. Dog friendly as are all Starwood properties. A big plus.
Great place, the staff is down to earth, friendly, helpful, and on top of your needs. It's a contemporary decor is unlike any other hotel I've stayed in. The hotel as a whole just has a upbeat modern vibe.
Nothing good to say about this location. Parking is a major pain in the ass, the parking lot is poorly lit, laid out like a maze and any reasonable parking space is reserved for neighboring businesses. You cant even pull up front just to unload your bags like 99% of the rest of the hotels on planet earth. Drive the gauntlet, then shlep your bags through the parking garage to the unusual "lobby" where you take a miniature elevator up to the real lobby. That is where you get the joy of the rudest most unhelpful desk clerk you will ever encounter at a hotel. They seem to be hiring staff out of an Abercrombie fashion catalog based on looks and not customer service skills. I have never encountered so many eye rolls, patronizing sighs, and general apathy out of someone working in customer service before.
This is a select service hotel, look it up people. Love our room. Love the bathroom door with full length mirror. The views are terrific. Not for the fussy Yelp reviewers who expect something this place is not. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff. Clean room, with comfortable bed. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the stylish theme of the hotel. Also, food items were very reasonably priced.
Me and my wife rented a corner suite. There is a major issue with the air units in the rooms because we moved rooms multiple times and the air units are extremely loud when they turn on, so if you are used to sleeping good, you most likely will wake up to the start up of the air unitThe room was rather large and spacious, the beds are comfy, the bathroom was just ok. I really liked the large shower and the good water pressure. There where some serious problems with the bathroom. The shower leaked allot of water on the floor and it was really annoing to have to clean the copious amounts of water up every time.
DO NOT STAY HERE! UNSAFE! THOSE WHO HAVE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE GOT LUCKY! First of all, I have stayed at numerous hotels inside and outside the U. S. This was my first BAD experience and first review. This Hotel is descent. Beds are comfortable and room is ok. However, bathroom door does not shut and shower drains into floor — a lot and very noisy hotel. We awoke Friday morning at 7:30 a. M. To equipment beating the parking lot for hours! The hotel was obviously aware of the construction but didn't warn us. I could live with this but the worst is the noise and poor management. Saturday was the worst I have ever experienced at any place I've ever stayed. We came in at about 9:00 p. M. With the next room partying to loud music. We finally called to ask the hotel to have them turn it down. We were not upset but we could not hear our own TV. We could hear the girls next door arguing with the hotel help about turning down the music. I thought he handled it well but they kept the party going after hotel staff left. We left our room to go downstairs and the girls rode in the elevator with us — they were not happy. Within an hour, they were making noise in the hall, slamming their door, talking and laughing loudly outside of our door — obviously on purpose. We called hotel again and they "attempted" to get them to be quiet, but here again, the girls stood in the hall, outside our door, arguing with the hotel people about being quiet.
The nearby construction was completely forgivable, but from the moment we pulled up, it felt like a bad Tinder date. The property looked nothing like what was pictured in the advertisements. Aesthetic outside lights were burned out, and all of the advertisement photographs were taken from extreme angles to make things look larger and more attractive than they were in person. The phone app for keyless entry never once worked at all. We reserved a $210 corner suite that was supposed to sleep 6, but in reality had two full-sized beds and a twin sized pull-out couch that slept two adults comfortably, and one more less-than-comfortably. In spite of the advertised occupancy, the suite only came stocked with amenities for two people. There was even an advertisement regarding free bottled water, which we found to be one single 16.9 fluid ounce bottle of Dasani that we were expected to share. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor due to the poor design, and then ran cold water after only two of us had showered. I also would also expect a suite to have better quality toilet paper than the one-ply tragedy that you'd find in an interstate rest stop. We were even told that parking was not included with the reservation, and were charged an additional $10 on top of the room rate. The staff was pleasant enough as one would expect from one human being to another, but didn't appear to have any hospitality training, and did/said nothing to making our stay "special" in any way.
Recently booked a room over a month in advance through a booking agency recieved a conformation e mail with itenerary # ect. Upon arrival we informed the desk clerk we had copies of the e mails along with the required itinerary and also I had a drivers licence for my id mrs joan was there in the looby with me she is 87yrs old and has a slight beggining case of dementia it was her credit card we used to book the room. So here we are in the looby at 1a/m after driving 300miles and were informed that because mrs joan forgot to bring her id that we would not be able to check into our room we had all the emails from the hotel and the booking agency with all the plus I had a valid drivers license with my picture on it and were refused our room we also had the credit card used to book the room in advance with mrs joans name on it and other debit and credit cards with her name on them. I do see the point the desk clerk was trying to make as for not having a photo id of mrs joan but come on really!
Liked the free shuttle and friendly staff. Liked comfort of bed. Got locked into the bathroom because the sliding door jammed — the same problem a coworker had in her room. Door said to lock both deadbolt and lock bar. Door DID NOT have the lock bar. Clock was not plugged in. No real closet or drawers. Like living in an ikea box with poor, incomplete construction.
Stayed over Labor Day weekend. Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly. Other guests were mature and respectful. Perfect location downtown. Easy access to Art Deco district. Close enough to all the new restaurants and bars on the east side. Also conveniently close to 51 and 75 if you need to head to one of the suburbs. Good price too.
We picked this hotel on a limb, considering we needed a place to crash for the night. We had been driving for 12 hours prior to arrival and were both completely tired. The lady at the front desk, Jessica, was great in helping us find a spot for our trailer, as well as in answering all questions we had (we had two cats with us). There was no fee for pets, which was great. Initially I thought $100 was a bit pricey for a place to rest for the night, but once we settled in, I knew we chose well. The room was extremely clean, amd smelt it as well. The veiw from the two large windows was beutiful as well. There was an in-room coffee maker with plenty of options. Jessica gave us a list of restaurants in the area, and we chose Yokozuna (great sushi). Since we had a 6x12 trailer we didn't want to lug around the city, we used the complimentary shuttle. Antonio, the driver, was very warm and welcoming. The pool, although we did not use it, looked nice, and the outdoor lounge had a nice view as well. The beds were very comfortable as well. At the end, this hotel served its purpose, if not exceded it. We got more than we paid for, and I would recomend a stay here to anyone.
I did not like the fact that the person I accompanied at the hotel got bit by bed bugs and several others and they would not do any type of accommodation's. Nice hotel, but never again will I stay there.
After reading some of the other not so positive reviews, I was pleasantly surprised when I got here. Hotel is indeed a bit awkward but overall its not bad. Room is nice with really tall ceilings and modern furnishings. Everything seems to be clean and smells nice. My room has a full wall of windows which makes it seem much larger than it is. They allowed me to check in 3 hours before standard check in time and were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed the stay in this unique building that is now a hotel. It was the Tulsa city hall and the lobby architecture and pool area reflect this style. It is not a comforting lobby, but it is interesting. The rooms are roomy and efficiently designed making it feel like it was designed with the travelers needs in mind. The staff was helpful and accommodating at every transaction. I would stay again.
I will never stay here again. First time we stayed it was incredibly noisy and had people banging on our door at 2am. We talked to management and they gave us a free night. So here we are again and when we checked in the told them we had paid for our first night and wanted to do our second night on the points they had given us for the free night. We thought it was taken care of until I looked at our receipt and I noticed they only had us booked for one night so I went to the front desk and they pretty much told me I was screwed because now the hotel was booked. I'm very unhappy.
Reasonable rates and nice rooms with views of Downtown.
If youre thnking of staying here DONT. The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Stayed twice and equallly horrible each time. Never again.
Very new, clean and well designed with great style. Good view from the 7th floor I'm digging it.
This is a cool new hotel Downtown. The rooms are all new and staff is really helpful. Its a good value.
The room was great! Very comfortable.
Good value for the money. Stayed Fri July 4 and Sat July 5 2014. The Good Value for the money. Room phone's cordless-phone base had a speaker phone. Look of design are solid. Staff was helpful and welcoming, particularly Seth who was working the front desk on the night of Sat, July 5, 2014 when we checked in. The Bad When I walked in from the ground floor parking garage, the front desk was unattended. No sign was at the front desk. But for a guest telling me that I had to go one floor up to the other front desk, I wouldn't have known to look for another front desk. That's an oversight that almost caused me to go to another hotel. On Fri, July 4, hot water was barely warm in the shower. The staff said the boiler went out, so this might have been an exception. The shower enclosure didn't keep water in the shower off of the bathroom floor. The staff was personable but oblivious. I asked on the phone if they had an outdoor lounge. They did, but told me they didn't. The Bottom Line You get more than you pay for. Recommend.
We stayed here after the Kings of Leon Concert! The staff was great! Shaun at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Love that it is so close to the BOK center.

Our room was not ready to check-in at 6:30 PM. We left and came back a few hours later, and they gave us keys to someone else’s room. Literally walked it to someone else’s things. Thank goodness they weren’t in the room. That could have been a very dangerous situation. Went back to the desk to get a new room, and they said they don’t have a king, so they “upgraded” us to a queen room. Very disappointed in the entire experience! Would not choose to stay here again.
