So far I am not happy with my room.
When I opened the door the first thing I saw was a filthy floor, and cigarette burns on the bedspread.
I walked in the bathroom and there was mold in the shower.
I called the front desk and was told they would send housekeeping right away. After waiting 10 min, I walked down to the office and showed them pictures of the room.
The front desk clerk Ash came down with the housekeeper (a woman who was about 70, bent and obviously to old and frail to be cleaning rooms, she should have been relaxing)
The housekeeper sprayed bleach in the shower and swept the floor. The front desk clerk Ash and I stripped the bed and it was obvious that the sheets had not been changed. They were dirty and wrinkled, and bodily fluids were visible. I am a housekeeper by trade, I had my gear in my car and I cleaned the room from top to bottom!
I Had to take the towels to the office and exchange them for clean towels as the ones in the room were dirty and there was hair on them.
There is a huge difference between inexpensive and disgusting.
As a guest, paying for this room I should not have had to clean it, it should have been clean when I arrived.

Room smells so bad, beds are hard and so uncomfortable, TV has lines down the screen, not the cleanest place. I'd rather sleep in my vehicle, but with small kids, it's hard. Not a place I'd come back to.

They were very polite, our room was clean. Checked each day to see if we needed anything. Plus they allowed my dogs (they didn't have to clean up any messes other than change cover vacuum. They were respectfull to us we were respectfull by not messing up the room thanks motel 6 Ardmore Oklahoma.

Rooms were modern and clean. Located conveniently next to a major highway. The guests there and staff were the major downside. No coffee or breakfast served during our stay.

We always stay at motel 6 everywhere we go. This one was just as nice but there was construction going on at the restaurant next door & for some strange reason they worked into the wee hours. Not good! Of course I supposed the hotel had no control of that. There were also very loud birds that came alive at night & kept us awake. Seems like something could be done about that. The staff were very nice & of course the price is always affordable.

I recently found out and wanted to update. While staying here they gave someone else my same room when they checked in around midnight. They walked into my room while I was in there. The door was latched and had the dead bolt on. Just know that if they you lock the dead bolt the door will still open from outside if they have a key to the same room.

The person at the desk was very nice and helpful. The bathroom needs some upkeep. It would have been nice if there was a coffee pot in the room. No breakfast available. The pool wasn't filled. I should have spent a little more to have a few more conveniences. What caught my eye was this location and their rating, but I didn't see how it really got that rating except for the friendliness of the front desk checking in and out.

The place is pretty ghetto. The pool was so very green and nasty. But the inside of the rooms are okay. It looked I like the help there was super cracked out. The room cost more than what was said when reserving them. Wouldn't really recommend unless you need something cheap.

Worst Motel ever. Needed a place quick so picked this one. Price was good but room not so much. Room was super small. Beds feel like an air mattress. Bathroom shower leaks. Smoke everywhere outside from someone cooking. Never again and I will never recommend this place to anyone ever.

The rooms are very modern and comfortable. It’s definitely not a 5 Star room but just as good.

The price was fair. Room was clean. Bathroom needed much remodeling. Pool was still closed. There were a lot of improvements occurring during our visit. Beds were like laying on bricks. But the night was quiet!

Clean room and good service. Also we were given a breakfast coupon at Denny's next door and the service was great.

Rooms looked awesome! Like the layout and design of the room. Looks just like the pictures displayed online. Nice people, good customer service.

Never stayed there but the owners are very nice. Probably a good cheap place if you need a room for the night.

The room was clean and safe. It was enough to serve my simple needs, and was inexpensive.

2 nd time here. For 50 bucks a night, a place to lay your head, and take a shower, was fine for us!

Decent. I have stayed here a few times in town for work. Staff is good same staff each time I come which is good. Rooms are little older on the outside. Inside is not to bad. No bugs and clean for the most part. Beds are ok.

I'm staying here for work, so I'm obviously not looking to spend a bunch of money. That's one of the best things about Motel 6. It's cheap. It has decent beds for the price. It has a flat screen with Direct TV. It has decent Wi-Fi. It seems like a lot of the rooms have recently been redone. Sadly, the door seems like it's could collapse lol. It also doesn't always open easily. It gets stuck because it's shifted weird. The shower has a crack in the bottom, which doesn't really bother me, but I'm sure it isn't good for their own building. The shower head is made for gnomes. I'm 6'2 and it basically aims directly at my chest. Ultimately, it's a great place if you're looking for a place to save money and not feel like you're going to get your vehicle broken into. If you're looking for luxury though then you're obviously in the wrong place lol. I'm enjoying my stay though.

I stopped to stay here with my family this weekend and ultimately I found it to be a pretty crappy place. I gave it two stars simply because the lady that helped me at the front counter was pretty nice throughout the check in process, and also the check out and refund process just a few minutes later. When we got to our room before even entering it we figured out that the card reader didn't work, and the door was just flat out unlocked so you could walk right in. We reached around the doorway to turn on the light and no light came on. Standing there for what was probably only 10 or 15 seconds my wife and I both wondered what had died in our room due to the smell. A few seconds later and a light started flickering and finally came on. The room seemed ready and clean, but had an ungodly smell, and it also (a second terrible smell) seemed like someone had just dropped off the results of an all you can eat buffet in the toilet. Ultimately we very quickly decided that we were going to keep traveling a little further before calling it a night at a different Motel 6. We usually have pretty good luck with Motel 6's, we've stayed in 4 different ones (not counting this one) just over the last week. This one was just pretty crappy.

They were friendly. Assisted me when I had a large u haul. Room was clean. And price was good. Needed a quick place to sleep.

Rooms seem to be updated and nice. My room was updated. Low rate to stay here. Room was nicer than some other hotels I have stayed at with a higher rate.

Finding and getting to the hotel was easy. The front desk clerk was quick with getting me checked in. However there was a problem once I got to my room. The first room I was given had problems with the card reader and subsequently the door was difficult to open. Also, the clerk gave me a smoking room when I never specified which type of room I wanted. I wanted a non-smoking room but the one I got was one next to some people who looked like they're living long term in the next room and who were extremely heavy smokers of more than cigarettes… Also, the area surrounding of the hotel was dimly lit and had various shady looking people wandering around. I went back to the office and requested a non-smoking room for my children and I. The clerk questioned me about the request, he stated that I asked for a smoking room, I told him that during our previous and fairly short conversation he never once asked me what room I wanted… I felt quite a bit uneasy trying to sleep because of the surroundings of the hotel. The beds were comfortable, the room was fairly clean, but the bathroom light didn't work.

My overall stay was great until the next morning. If I could give zero stars, I would. There was a guest named KAREN that apparently is living there for now. KAREN decides to let her gigantic Brown dog run loose without a leash. I encountered this dog racing towards me as I was walking to my vehicle. I began screaming loudly as the dog came closer. All of a sudden, my scream died down as I reached for my smaller luggage. I said, "Come on then, I'm gonna knock you outta the park! " As he got closer, I was ready in my stance to bat this dog into the sky when all of a sudden, KAREN starts racing to get it and put in her SUV. No words said, no apology given. I proceeded to my vehicle and looked back and saw her laughing about it. I got passed and we had words! I didn't cuss her, she cussed me. I asked her rhetorically would I have been wrong if I had a gun and shot the dog? I went in to tell the clerk, Courtney what happened. She apologized and told me KAREN has caused trouble before, this is her final warning, she will be dismissed from the property. Other incidents have occurred with this tenant. Courtney walked me to my vehicle and was very nice and apologized so kindly. I don't know think I will stay here again. I'm not trying to play the racist card but I'm black, KAREN is white and so is Courtney. They are two different people ok. The fact that KAREN laughed about her dog nearly attacking me, made me see and no apology made me view her as racist. What else could I think?

Rate was great, staff was friendly enough. It also had the appearance of being clean, but whomever cleaned my room didn't bother to clean the toilet or sink, and that's kinda a huge oversight to leave them visibly dirty. At least the sheets were clean. Not a fan, will probably never stay at this one again.

The man running the office late that night was great. He gets a 5 star. Couldnt be better. But the grounds and exterior of the building were making me have second thoughts. Weeds in the uncut lawn, rust on the hand rails and the buildings despairately needed a fresh coat of paint. But the room had been remodeled in the last few years. Love the simple modern decor and would have gotten a 4 star but its already showing wear. It was clean (which is most important in a motel to us) but had a few soft spots under the flooring and it seemed like when they remodeled, they ran out of money and just put paint on anything left. But overall the room was really decent.

Needed a quick room while I waited for my vehicle to be serviced as it had broke down on a commute from Arlington TX to Topeka KS. The motel six is very inexpensive a 1bd/1bth/cable/internet one night stay was under 50 bucks! Very near in walking distance is a Denny's and a local restaurant. The owners were very nice and they even called within the hour of check-in to ask if the room was up to par. I dug that for sure! Never experienced a motel company asking about my comfort. I still have the rest of the evening to test out. Overall not bad.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was what you would expect — small, not fancy, but clean and everything worked as it should. One negative — I assume long-term guests that sit out under stair wells in the evening are very unnerving, especially for women passing by or senior guests. Also, their use of bbq grills poses a fire hazard for the buildings, and is probably a code violation.

Nice stay for a very reasonable price. The DirectTV is great, as it has a much better remote control than a lot of other places. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were clean. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I frequent Winstar a lot and always hated the drive back to Dallas in the middle of the night. With the great low rates at the motel 6 in Ardmore ($49) VS anywhere in Dallas ($60-$67) along with their friendly staff and cozy amenities we know where we're going anytime we're in town.

Location was great, the r was pretty amazing. On the outside we honestly didn't know if we'd stay or not. But once we go into the room it for us perfectly and was clean and well put together. Great stay for the great rates. Would I stay here again probably not.

Was disgusting, had cigarette burns all over the blankets and sheets. Smelled like smoke and musk, heavily febrezed to try to cover which only made it worse! Further more it was a sketchy crowd. We went to another hotel. Only thing that was 5 stars was the attendant working the counter she was super polite, the owner scowled at us. I dont recommend this place.

Very nice staff. Room was great — especially for the price! I needed a room for one night and it fit the bill. I really like the modern rooms that Motel 6 has been doing.

Room wreaks of mildew, the pool is nasty and green, I wish they would tell you that the pool is jacked up before you reserve the room and pay for it. I would have stayed somewhere else.

This hotel was great. We stayed here for 3 nights and for just under 50 bucks a night, you really can't beat it. The room was very clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel is very near just about anything you need (ardmore is a lot bigger than we expected; a really nice town), the A/C worked great, the beds were very firm but not uncomfortable. Our two girls loved the pool and there were several other families staying there. This was the first time i've stayed at a hotel so close to the interstate that I didn't feel unsafe even once. The beds could have been a little softer. The water in the pool looked a little green to me, but my husband said it was fine. anyone who has any big complaints about this place is either used to hiltons & sheridans or they're just the kind of people who can't be pleased no matter what. The only thing I would change (if it could be done without raising rates) is i'd like a mini fridge & microwave in the rooms. That was the only thing that kept this review from a perfect score.

Clean, nice smelling room. Good price for the room. Friendly staff. They checked in with me, by phone, to be sure everything was OK. Went out of their way to help me. Very satisfied.

The rooms were the same as every other motel 6… small, wood floors, loud kids at the pool. A/c worked well and lots of TV chanels and free Wi-Fi.

Very clean and neat. Very impressive! Too good deal for that f$@# nice motel! I'll come back to that motel again for sure! Love it!

The reason I hate this place is because the people that are rude mother effers you're so mean to each other but I want to go to a place that people are rude and hateful to each other every f****** stupid ago that he be retarded to go to a place like that motel 6 is the best place to go to cuz what f****** tired when I go to the state of a motel and has f****** pedophiles crackhead w**** s.

I haven't stayed at ever hotel in Ardmore, but if I had to guess, this Motel 6 would have to be the worst hotel to stay at. Very friendly front desk, but the rooms are disgusting. First red flag $50/night. Second red flag, once I get my keycard, the lady tells me after I swipe, to turn the handle up, in order to open the door. Third, no ice machine. Back to the room — dirty bathroom, water stains around the toilet from when its over flowed, very dirty with visible stains and cigarette burns on the comforter, cracks in the walls, and a nasty TV remolte that I refuse to touch unless a napkin is over it. If you like a cold room like me, not happening. Bring a DVD player or a PS4? Well you can't change the TV to the proper input source. Wifi? Forget about it. This room is $50 a night for a reason, spend the extra $20 and stay somewhere else. Anywhere else.

I stayed one night on a business trip and was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean as well as the room. Was not able to access the internet due to being on the backside of the property but I was not there to use the internet. This is a nice facility and the desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again for a business trip.

We were in room # 120. In room there as a group of men who sat on their car in front of their room with loud music and drinking. This started at 8:00 P. M. It lasted until 1:00 A. M. And the police had to be called. I called the desk at 9:30, and was told it would be taken care of. It was not. I called again at 10:30 and 11:30 and begged them to get these people out of the motel and call the police. The police finally came but the men although with beer in hand at their car and sitting in front of their door came to us and said they could do nothing about it because they were not loud when the police car arrived. Right after they left it started again and three of them came to our door threatening us. We left at 1:30 in the morning afraid for our lives. You staff and management never had them leave. We had to leave and were the good guys. I am 65 and was with my wife. Worst experience I've ever had. I turned my key in and told the staff member at the window I would report this. I did not ask for a refund as it was a waste of time.

Newly remodeled rooms with very friendly staff who go out of there way to help your needs. Very good price will be back.

As a former housekeeper I can say our room was clean and neat. The front desk was very friendly and courteous. Was very quiet. Close on and off main road with Denny's close by. Will return.

The experience was good. The room was clean a d freshly remodeled. We have stayed here in the past and it was old and kinda run down but clean. The new rooms are nice for a motel 6. It was small and kinda tight for two adults and two kids but hard to complain for under $45. Will stay again.

This place sucks the staff a mean and hate full we paid they keep makeing or life hell they air conditios suck you have to fix.

It is one of the most hatefull hotel the staff is so hatefull they allow random drug dealers just walk in peoples rooms when u call them And complain they blow u off very disappointed in the quality of my stay I rented 14 rooms I hated it.
