We stayed in a very nice room. It’s a nice hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! I’ve been to various Marriott family hotels all over the country and this one rates right up there with some of my favorites. As soon as you walk the hotel smells amazing! The staff were all very warm and welcoming as well. The corner king room we stayed in was great. It has a really deep soaking tub along with a separate shower. The toiletries included bath salts for the tub which was a nice touch. The rooftop bar was nice and provided great fast service. We also had room service breakfast which was on time and delicious. My only critiques would be although the window shutters are really pretty, they don’t offer much protection from the morning light. Also the valet parking area is VERY SMALL so beware if you have a big truck like we do.

Such a lovely hotel. It was a perfect place to celebrate our 20th Anniversary! Beautiful room, great bar, restaurant, and outstanding staff.

We celebrated our anniversary here. The hotel is lovely — old building with a beautiful courtyard in a neat location downtown. They were so kind and inviting! They upgraded our room since it was our anniversary and sprinkled rose petals everywhere. We had delicious and unique cocktails and appetizers at the rooftop bar. It has an amazing view of downtown. (We hope to return when it’s a little cooler to enjoy the outside seating and view when we aren’t short on time. ) The service was top notch from the valet to the front desk! There is just something about a smaller hotel that make you feel so welcome and pampered. We have an event this fall downtown and have already reserved our room here and can’t wait to come back!

Very cool place! rooms are very up to date and clean. Only thing they could improve is the doors are very loud when you close them.

Beautiful hotel. The rooftop bar & restaurant are fabulous. It also has an outside patio on top, with fantastic views. Room was 5-star, clean & comfortable!

This is a great hotel, in a great location. My wife and I stayed here with our two large dogs and our 10-month old while our house was being repainted. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to assist guests. They would run out to help with our stroller in the front door, and helped us with a room change and all of our necessities for our little one.

My favorite place to stay in okc! The staff is amazing and the rooftop bar has the best drinks and view of downtown!

Haven't stayed in a room, but have been to the rooftop bar and it is amazing. Great views of Downtown with plenty of comfortable seating. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had an incredible experience here! I had visited previously for drinks at the bar, but never for a stay. I decided to book because of the location near the hospital where I was to have a tonsillectomy. Every single person we encountered from valet to housekeeping to room service was beyond accommodating! Dining willingly let me adjust my order to consider my soft diet, everyone at the front asked how I was doing many times when we’d interact with the. It was very nice knowing that we were well taken care of!
Truly everyone has created a guest for life out of me and my husband!

This review is for the O bar at the top of the hotel. I haven't stayed in a room here. The bar is outstanding and has great craft cocktails with a view of downtown OKC to match.

Love the accommodations. Took off a star, was expecting more from restaurant room service. The food (breakfast) was bland with no condiments provided. Proportions were fine, taste just wasn't their. Expected more fore price.

Beautiful historic hotel in Oklahoma City's Midtown district. Great food, unique rooms, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

We arrived at about 9pm and it was dark. The hotel had 0 signs showing where to park. We finally found a lot that looked like it might be the right one but it was very far behind the hotel and not well lit. There were some shady people in the parking lot and I did not feel safe to walk to the hotel past them. I called the front desk to see if I was in the right spot and they confirmed that was their lot and offered a valet for $18 on top of the 15$ parking charge… They also had nowhere to stop in front of the building to unload suitcases. The only spot was the dark far away gross parking lot. If I am paying $200+ a night to stay here, get a better safer parking lot. I ended up cancelling my stay over this.

Gym is detached but very close next door. Minimal equipment: 1 bike, 1 elliptical, 1 rower, 1 (very narrow) bench, & 5-50 lb dumb bells. But lots of floor space! :) Room was super clean, very quiet, great views of the city. A little underwhelmed with the rooftop bar, no beer on tap, but a good selection of wine & Scotch. Felt very boutique. Would recommend.

Beautiful hotel! Wish we could have stayed longer. Just two small complaints are that the Wi-Fi was unusable. We could not connect at all. Also, we asked for shuttle service ahead of time and was told it would be no problem, just come down to the lobby 5-10 minutes before our reservation. Little did we know that the shuttle driver was also the valet and the bellman, and he was busy helping other patrons when we needed our ride. We were late for our reservation, since we waited about 12 minutes for the driver to finish helping the other patrons and get the car. It's a free shuttle, so I can't really complain. It just would have been nice if they'd told us in advance, so we could have allowed more time.

My oldest brother reserved a meeting room on the 7th floor, and had Thanksgiving dinner catered in for our family, approximately 25 people. The room was amazing, had a wonderful view from the balcony of downtown OKC, and the food was very good. Service was very good, especially since it was Thanksgiving day.

Had Thanksgiving there. The food was really good. The service was decent considering it was a holiday and we had a late reservation though I would have rated the service quite different if not a holiday. I will choose them again.

We love this classy, cozy boutique hotel. Stayed in a wonderful corner room. Great service and wonderful food from the Viceroy Grille.

Love the O Bar OKC for $5/Glass “Wine Down Wednesday”. Plus the view of the city is great too.

Nice establishment. Well preserved. Even if you don’t stay overnight, the rooftop bar is open to anyone and worth a try. Good views and cocktails.

The Ambassador Hotel restraunt, the Viceroy, had a remarkable dining atmosphere. My wife and I went there for breakfast around 10:15am on a Monday morning. The food was simple but excellent, the waitress was of a pleasant demeanor and always had a smile, the music soft and the Hotel staff sincere. I highly recommend visiting this business. The Viceroy did not serve fastfood, and so the cost is not low, but the experience was well worth the price.

Very beautiful rooms — bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Complimentary shuttle within a 3 mile radius was helpful.

I stayed at the Ambassador over the weekend and loved it. My boyfriend and I had a perfect stay. The entire place was spotless and beautiful. We loved the rooftop bar in the evenings and the dining room in the mornings. The pool chairs were well kept and comfortable. The staff was on point and very helpful. We were always greeted with smiles and we never had to open a door. This is a very accommodating hotel and a wonderful place to stay!

This Hotel was awsome! Customer service was great the amenities where perfect, private pool, great Lil hidden patio, close to a lot of great bars and Restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel " The Viceroy " had superb food and wine, also service to match it. We took our Lil dog Stuart with us and they set us up a private table outside at their patio so that stu could sit and enjoy the evening with us. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another get away weekend. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Not only coming from a satisfied customer but also from a professional chef that knows what great service is. ‍

Our recent visit to the Ambassador hotel restaurant was great. The staff and service was excellent. The chef was very accommodating when I substituted a menu item in my entrée. The price was very reasonable. I would rate my overall experience a 3.5 star experience.

The bar was nice and the staff was very friendly. It took a while for them to bring us our appetizers and the place wasn't that crowded. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.

The location is great, right in the middle of a great area for restaurants, night life, and historic ok. The room was very nice, comfortable seating and bed, nice interior design. Also free cookies in the lobby.

I had my 40th birthday party there in their Heritage room and stayed in their suite. It was absolutely amazing! Rodger and his staff were so good to us. I would highly recommend trying them out if you haven't yet.

Lovely hotel with cool architecture and interior design. Staff was friendly and welcoming, room was clean and comfortable with a great view from the large windows. Several restaurants and bars in walking distance as well as the ones inside the restaurant. Location is convenient for bricktown/downtown. Only complaint is there is very little free parking on the street, otherwise you have to pay for their lot ($15 per day/$18 for valet). They do have a complementary car service to within a 3-mile radius.

The Ambassador staff were very professional and so personable and friendly. The room was amazing and had wonderful amenities and furnishings. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again.

What a fun mix of new and old. The furnishings are very nice. Service is good if slow. The rooms are very nicely appointed but let down by cheap towels and super loud air handler. Roof bar has lovely view. Breakfast was nice but slow service. Parking is out back. Look for giant A on signs. Solid staff. Great neighborhood.

My wife and I stayed there one night last month for our 3 year anniversary. (We live in Edmond and had our moms watch our 5 month old twins girls) We thought the staff was a little "stuffy". The room was "OK" and the front desk seemed hesitant to help with a couple of simple requests. I'm big on service, and Ambassador did not live up to how I would want to treat guests. Also, the guy guarding the elevator is obnoxious. I've heard of people not being let up to the bar. I believe that would have been the case for us as well, had we not confirmed we were staying at the hotel. My wife is hot, we always get into places>>> :)

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Everything was clean and very very well designed. Don't hesitate to book it. There is also a rooftop bar. Will be staying here again next time I'm in OKC.

This is a fantastic property. The design and ambiance are excellent. It feels vintage and modern, all at the same time. The location is also excellent; walking distance to many fine restaurants, bars and shops. Be sure to check out O Bar on the 7th floor. Elegant, inspiring, original cocktails and a phenomenal view.

Cannot recommend. Hotel is overpriced for location and accommodations. Restaurant is also overpriced and unaccomodating for single guests.

The rooms are classy and the beds very comfortable. Overall the decor and feel of the hotel is sophisticated. The staff are very friendly. When I requested something from the front desk they responded very quickly. The bar is in on the top floor with great views and delicious drinks.

Luxurious rooms and great service. We got an executive king room, and the staff left a thoughtful gift for us. Lots of charm and great views of the city from the O bar, which was packed full.

Old building the owners hard to work with, rent is 145 deposit and 145 a week. Needs major upkeep work but out will never happen.

I flew into OKC for a meeting with clients this past week and decided to stay through the weekend. I invited a few friends that I have in town, and their wives/girlfriends, out to dinner and a few drinks afterwards. After dinner we walked over to the hotel to check out their 'sky bar'. When we walked into the hotel we were greeted very nicely and were told what floor the bar was in. As soon as we walked up to the bar's door the 'door man' said "it is way too crowded in there, you guys may be better off at another bar like Louie's or Fassler Hall". Keep in mind, we were just coming from Dinner so we were dressed appropriately for this place. Door man said it would be a few minutes before we could walk in followed by him saying "you can poke your head in there if you'd like to see the place". As if he were "granting" us a view of what we were not going to be allowed to walk into. We waited a few minutes and we saw people come in and out of this place and still the door man said "it is just too crowded, maybe another nearby place is better for you guys. ". After waiting 15 minutes and people coming in and out we realized that we were not going to get in because we were NOT the "right people" for this place. Though we were all dressed business casual and the wives and girlfriends had on nice alfits, it was clearly obvious that we were being denied entry to this bar because of who were were and nothing else.

Nice hotel within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Roof top bar has really good views of downtown Oklahoma City.

New inside. That's all they have going for them and I'm still stuck here another night. So much for a happy 15th wedding anniversary celebration.

Yeah, it was a nice hotel, BUT found out after the fact that they charge a hefty $15 just to park your car a block away from the front door! They tried to charge me more for valet which I didn't even use. On top of that, our AC barely worked! Room temp never got below 75 even though we had it cranked down. Won't be spending the $$$ to stay there again.
