Very quick and responsive to needs and questions on room amenities. Friendly resort activities staff. The lion dance was the best that we have experienced. Beautifully kept grounds that is not overcrowded.

This hotel is very nice and relaxing. The Longboard Bar makes the best drinks. The rooms are very nice for a hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend for all ages. I also recommend for handicap people. The grounds are easy to navigate with a wheelchair and you can even get down close to the beach. Now the only thing that would make it better is if they had the beach mat so you could take your chair to the water.

Beautiful location and clean facility, truly feels like paradise, but if they lure you into a sales presentation be prepared to have your arm twisted and don’t believe the lies they will tell you to get you to buy. I tried using my phone to check to see if what they were saying was true and they told me to put the phone away. I didn’t buy anything and, when I did check later, sure enough, they had lied to me multiple times.

The staff is very attentive to the details! The whole property is beautiful and clean. Great for families and quiet kid free area. The staff is friendly. Definitely recommend!

Love the resort beautiful and service as far as resort amazing but eat elsewhere… our first night good and service amazing other 4 times were horrible. It was obvious were catering to larger parties. 2 hours to get a sandwhich and check I had to ask multiple times for. One night the fries were hard, cold and obviously old. Eat elsewhere.

Larger resort style in MVC. Isolated from attractions and hiking. Great for families who only want to spend time on a resort. As DP owners it was our first time here. It wasn’t for us but others may enjoy it as the rooms are large and there are many amenities including a weekly show.

Gorgeous hotel! We love it. Unfortunately, the bar service close to the beach/pools is a disaster. Although very nice and friendly staff, there are only a very few and they cannot keep up with the amount of guests (not huge, it is not crowded…). There is only ONE person preparing cocktails and sometimes the line has 20 people waiting. I had to wait 50 minutes in line to order 3 cocktails 🍹 for my family.

This is the only place we stay when we visit Oahu. A very beautiful place on the beach and gorgeous sunsets and sunrise. Always feels like home for us! 💕

Best place for a peaceful vacation. Family friendly! Great for kids or if you have no kids very romantic. Close to Paradise Cove and waking distance to the famous local turtles. They have 3 full bars, 2 great restaurants. Offer cabana's or umbrellas for beach area which is a cove and very safe! Our favorite place to come!

Great place to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Family friendly, with a large expanse of property to move around on. Never felt crowded and always comfortable. Only drawback was room service unavailable due to COVID concerns, but that was a minor inconvenience.

I love the view of a beautiful beach and lagoon from our balcony. The grounds are lovely and the condo is spotless and spacious. Sleeping with the doors open with the sound of a pounding surf and fresh air is wonderful. We are so happy we came.

Excellent except the bell captain service very bad and makes the place look like two star service needs lots of improvement.

Hawaii is super strict when it comes to covid… despite Covid this resort makes you feel super comfortable. Great people. Great place! Highly recommend it! No room service or house keeping until you leave. Several restaurants for take out. You have to reserve your pool time. Highly recommend a cabana for $50 dollars.

The Marriott Koolina. The service here is over the top! They have responded promptly each time we needed assistance! They brought us a big bag of ice (as the ice machines are closed), fixed our TV and toilet AND fished my gold earring out of the bathtub drain! Yes, I was sure it was a goner! But when we returned to our hotel room in the afternoon, this was on the counter!

There is everything here. Beautiful pools. Nice restaurants. Lovely rooms. Helpful friendly staff.

Nice family fun. Well thought out vacation club. Not quite as many amenities as a regular ‘resort’ as it is designed for ‘owners’. The restaurants are average at best, and I was a little bothered by the fact that pool side service and beach service used plastic bags and disposable cups and containers instead of washable dishes. This is a very clean resort with tons of games for kids and adults alike.

This was our 3rd time visiting Ko’Olina and we love everything about this resort! The location is stunning — completely safe/family friendly. The activities for kids are fun & the feeling of being somewhere private still feels very relevant! The sunsets are the best on Oahu & the also has the least amount of rain! Anything you want from a vacation this place offers & with an ALOHA, SMILE & MAHALO.

It is the best place in the world to be … I was fortunate to be a part of the opening of The Beach Bar and Grill when it was called Kolohes and now it is LongBoards and great too still see the beautiful ladies working there like Merilou, Roxy, Melissa, and few others.

Overall, a great stay as normal. The 2 bedroom, 2 baths suite could sleep 8 with 2 king beds and 2 sleeper sofas. The kitchen is full size with stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge. The suite also included full size washer and dryer. It sits on one of the Ko Olina lagoons so the waters are calm. There are 3 pools in the resort area. Breakfast buffet is expensive at $24 but if you add mimosas for $1, it becomes a pretty good deal. A great place to bring your family or a group of friends.

What an amazing property. It does feel like paradise. The grounds are beautiful and we'll maintained. The staff are very friendly, and they offer many fun activities for everyone. There is a other that you can go for nice walks on, and plenty of photo opportunities. The food at the restaurants was good.

An excellent place to go with a family, especially if you don't want to worry about dining out every night. The rooms had nice sized kitchens to make food in which was very much appreciated. Go food shopping locally and stock up on supplies and you can relax and cook in your room while enjoying the nice ocean views. The property also has BBQ facilities there which was very good, too. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable. The larger suites have shared living rooms with rooms on either side of the layout so it's quiet enough to still have your own privacy. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are well maintained. You can order drinks/food around the pool and bill them to your room.

The rooms are spacious and lavish. Excellent customer service everybody is friendly and helpful. The grounds are well-maintained and the flowers are beautiful. A kid friendly pool that also features a slide. The Hotel host several daily different activities that your children and family can participate in on property. They have two separate areas that have a barbecue grills that also has a herb garden.

Beautiful resort with great views. We had an ocean view. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of space for our family of six to spread out. We self parked the valet service is slow and only good if u r staying in the main building. Each building has its own parking which is much more convenient.

Went here over Thanksgiving years back and I find myself thinking of it often. I just watched a movie the other night and the resort was the main hotel in the movie. Took the family here with my two little girls. We absolutely loved this resort. The rooms we stayed in were very large and they were really good with the kids. The beach was the best part because it is quiet and secluded. They have a man made reef so that the waves are very small if any so kids can easily snorkel. They had tons of programs for kids and they loved all of them. Great family resort.

We have been owners here at Ko’ Olina for 10 years. Always look forward to coming here for vacation! Definitely a home away from home! This time we brought friends who have never been to Hawaii and they could not get enough of this resort! Few recommendations I need to point out though… cabanas right at the pools edge is NOT a great idea! The lounge chairs behind them do not have a good view of the pool. I was unable to keep an eye on my kids while sitting under the umbrellas. I cannot be out in the sun for a long time due to a medical condition and being blocked by cabanas was frustrating. Poolside bar service rarely came around either. I would also recommend more activities for the kids. Marriott in Maui had free popcorn and tattoos for the kids. Otherwise, great vacations all the time!

Awesome views! Hotel staff was helpful & friendly. Love that the resort is focused on kids & has tons of family activities. My 3 year old got a kick out of the pool made to look like one of the coves. Great spot for anyone looking to relax, have fun, and enjoy their time! Would definitely recommend.
(Can get pretty busy during weekends but that's expected. )

Ah-mazing Resort on a slice of one of the best beaches in Oahu. Excellent 5-star staff with attention to making your trip as worry free and enjoyable as you hoped it would be. You can do better Marriott Ko Olina! I’ve stayed at multiple Marriott properties, am a Marriott reward member etc. And was not impressed. To start I was not greeted appropriately upon arrival and was never asked if I needed help with my bags etc. Then when we asked about parking we were not giving an appropriate response and instead was told it depends. So I then asked again do you know the answer or are you just not telling me. This started the day off on the wrong foot and was not what I expected from this hotel. I expected more from a Marriott property. They also never told me upon arrival that it’s a better idea to check in then wait to remove your bags depending on what tower your in on the property. So I removed and had to then load my luggage again after checking in. The saving grace was the lady at check In was super nice, provided us a free umbrella and discounted our parking. The best part was that I never even had to say anything I think she kinda knew we weren’t very happy. The facility is very clean, the beach is great, there are shops about a half mile away that I highly suggest going to. Can’t really say anything bad about the property other then it’s massive and I’m not a fan of something so big. The place is great for families and young kids but not for couples. Would not recommend if your two adults on vacation. The kids are everywhere and the place is overly packed with people. I regret not spending the extra money on the Four Seasons.

Everything you need on property. The property is beautiful with 2 pools and right in front of a lagoon. No waves in the lagoon and a gradual decline so it is great for kids. The rooms are very nice, beds are very comfortable. Most rooms have a kitchen but some don't so make sure you know when you make reservations. The room with a kitchen also have a small washer and dryer. The only down fall is if you want to see anything else you have to have a car and if you want to to the bus system, which is very good all over the island but here, the bus stop is 1 1/2 miles away down a major busy street with no sidewalks.

This is our second time here. It is away from the busy you find in Honolulu. The Marriott property is great. Several pools and your own beach. The lagoon makes it nice so your not fighting the waves. NICE dining up and down the resort. The rooms are great and the view…

Wonderful resort. Beautiful beach on the lagoon. Numerous family pool areas, plus an adult "reflection" pool, that the staff ensure it stays quiet. Visited numerous times and will return again. Facilities and rooms in great condition. Food and drinks are pricey. Overall a nice relaxing experience.

Amazing views, love the private beach. The property itself is beautiful and the customer service is great. The rooms are great they have everything you need from knives to rice cooker and pots and pans. The grill area is an extra which was very accessible great to use. The bets themselves are comfortable I cannot say the same about the sofa bed.

It's a beautiful resort with fantastic access to Ko Olina's Lagoon 3. Staff is very courteous and helpful. There are pools for kids, families and quiet areas for adults. It is a resort so you expect that you'll have to pay for things. However, they do have some activities during the day that are both fun and free. They also have happy hour specials! I recommend their chicken wings and S. O. S!

What a beautiful resort I must say, and do not be mistaken, this is definitely a resort, so for the most part, you'll be at the hotel, using their beach and pools, and maybe head off the property for dinner. It is not the place you come if you want to explore the rest of Oahu, as it is a bit isolated. With that being said the property is great, very updated and well maintained. The private beach cove is awesome for kids where parents do not need to worry about big waves coming in. The pools are nice, no slides for kids but other activities and toys are available. The restaurant on the property was good, but the few places around Ko Olina are also worth checking out. Enjoy your stay, it is hard heading back to work after staying here.

Decent but not great. Guest services is a bit iffy to me especially as a presidential owner, it was just a bit subpar. The grounds are beautiful and well kept with an awesome lagoon but good luck finding a pool chair. Had some roaches in our room as well but they did come and treat the room. Once again they should have just offered to move us especially as presidential owners but they did not which was disappointing since I know there was availability. Being a Marriott resort in the hot sun I would expect water stations and this one lacked that too. All these minor issues are fixable maybe with some minor cheap enhancements, training and extra staff. Activities were also less than desirable compared to other resorts for the young kiddos. Overall I would definitely recommend this place I just thought I would make my issues known. Also the kiddie pool area is great with zero entry pool and sand but the smell is awful due to cat poop being all around it, I think the stray cats think it's their litter box.

What a beautiful place. Hawaii is great all on its own, but this place makes it even better. The rooms are very nice, the pools are great, the food is awesome, the staff is on point and very friendly. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone. This is our second time here and when we come back to Hawaii we will stay here again. Awesome.

First time to bring my kids during school break. Even though we live in the west side, I still cant get enough of its beauty. All staff are very friendly and so accommodating, they will greet you with so much Aloha and a big smile. We feel safe in the property and wouldn't worry about leaving your things on the lounge chairs while you enjoy the waters in the lagoon or in the pool. They have a mermaid telling a story and my kids loved her so much and had a thrill touching her tail! They even let you stay in the resort with full use of their locker room and rent pool towels even after you check out until when you decide to leave for the day. Now lets talk about the parking, it is pricey and expensive and there is no way avoiding it unless you are a vacation owner member. As of April 2017 overnight parking is $37.70. Add it up to your nightly price on top of hotel.

This resort is spectacular! Please keep in mind, it is a timeshare property so go in knowing that owners will always get the best views and best views. Because we are owners at another Marriott Vacation Club and traded for our week here so we had the most stunning view in the newest tower. The resort is clean and very well staffed. Everyone was full of Aloha to us and our kids. We were treated great by everyone, especially our bartenders Jody and Donna. Our room was 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and huge. It was well stocked with the necessary amenities. A grocery store visit to stick the fridge and we were set. What a week. Can't say enough great things. One last note, children and adults alike MUST ride the water slide!

What more can be said about the pinnacle of paradise? The accommodations are well appointed, not gaudy. The food and beverage offerings are more than adequate. Everything else is the best Marriott has to offer. The grounds are pristine in every way. The cleanliness of the property, inside and out, is exceptional. The people that make this place run are phenomenal. I have not come across one employee who hasn't returned my glance with a full, bright smile and a warm "aloha! " If you're thinking about staying on the West shore, don't bother with anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.

We loved our time here. The ocean view is incredible, but we also had a night with the mountain view which was also nice. The walk between the resorts along the water was my favourite part, especially at sunset. The rooms were clean and well maintained. People were friendly. Food options in the area are decent, but not massive, and are a little pricey. The grounds are well decorated. Wi-Fi is incredible, fast and with a wide range. Will consider returning.

Wow, an amazing resort. Nicest room I've stayed in anywhere. Great secluded cove on the ocean. Nice pools ranging from kid pools to a "quiet" pool. 7 hot tubs. The area is so much nicer than Waikiki. Worth the extra cost versus Waikiki. Incredible.

What a beautiful location! I was there visiting a friend who was a guest at the hotel. We walked alongside the different lagoons, and even with it being a wet and cloudy day, the views were amazing. As we walked past employees, they greeted us with warmth. The rooms are spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, room to dine, room to lounge, a separate bedroom, walk-in shower, and separate tub. There are several pools and jaccuzis, barbecue areas, and fire pits. When, not If, I am a guest here, I will be sure to plan to stay for at least a few nights so that I can truly immerse myself in the experience.

Top notch. We had no expectations when we arrived at this beautiful paradise last week. The Marriott is on the 3rd man made lagoon on the west coast Ko Olina resort area. The water is clean clear and has very little waves. Perfect for small kids. 3 Pools: adults only, zero entry sand beach, lagoon with slides. And a smattering of great whirlpools. Check out the one overlooking the beach. Food options are resort priced but very fresh seafood and salad, good healthy kids options. Our 1bd, 1b is Spacious and clean. Newly replaced carpet, fully stocked Kitchen including rice cooker!

Fantastic location! It's right near the beach, with it's own private access. There are also hot tubs and pools near the beach that provide spectacular views. There are some dining options that are ok on site, a marketplace, and amenities including a gym and billiards room. We were able to attend morning fitness events at the beach, and a Christmas movie with free popcorn on one of the evenings. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the toiletries provided are very good for hair and skin. We had a pleasant experience and look forward to staying again in the future!

Marriott Ko Olina is like Disneyland! The rooms are wonderful and come with a fridge, microwave, rice cooker, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. There's even plates and silverware that get cleaned daily for you (this was actually a surprise for us). Outside is a private beach and MULTIPLE pools, and even a water slide and waterfall. It's walking distance to great food (Go to Just Tacos! ) and the service has been fantastic.

Huge suites with well equiped kitchens. Bathtub+sink and shower+sink in separate rooms. Parking is in short supply but you can always valet. Many pools on hotel grounds with easy access to lagoon. It is a bit far from grocery stores and wider restaurant selections though. Good for families who want to be away from the busy cities.

Great property, stayed in a 2/2 which was their garden or mountain view, but as you can see there's a good view of the ocean. Nice clean property, has 4 lagoons, 3 or 4 pool areas, great gym, and nice bars and restaurants. I've already booked 5 days for 2019. Ko Olina is a great area, last time we stayed in Turtle Bay North shore which was nice but too far for visiting Waikiki or Honolulu frequently.

Love Ko Olina! Been here many times. The service is always excellent. I could spend my whole trip to Hawaii at the resort and be perfectly happy. Lots of activities for adults and children. The whole family loves it.

Had THE best vacation here! We're Marriott timeshare owners, and this was our first time coming here. We had the 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom Villa, which was perfect for a family of 6. Plenty of room and privacy. Had all the amenities of home. The pools and the beach were awesome, especially for the kids! The lagoon was very calm, so perfect for kids. Great gym and fitness classes out on the beach. 2 restaurants on the property, but only are at one, which was okay. The market place was a general store with various things… souvenirs, food, Starbucks, etc. Pricey though! Then again, guess that's typical of Hawaii in general! Overall, we had a great time and loved going to bed and waking up to the beautiful ocean view!

There are three pools, one only for adults and the beach is perfect for children.

This resort is fantastic. They have so many amenities. We got the 1 bedroom villa and it is quite roomy. I was pleased at how accommodating they are for a"condo" concept. I felt more like it was a cross between and condo and a hotel because I got better service than I've usually had in a condo. They had all the kitchen utensils we needed but had a sign to call the desk for anything you might be missing. They provided packets of laundry detergent (I'm used to having to bring EVERYTHING ourselves, from tp, to paper towels to laundry and dish detergent). Also housekeeping came by everyday. Also they go out of their way if you are on your honeymoon. They comped us 2 days of Cabana use and have us several coupons to use for nearby restaurants as well as a discount card. And they didn't make you wear those terrible paper pool wrist bands, instead they gave us white wrist bands that are like the live strong bands, so we could remove them anytime we liked. We never got to use it but the shuttle that runs throughout the day taking you to the nearby locations is a true convenience. Would definitely visit this resort again.

Like the other reviews, I could go on and on about how beautiful the place is and all of it's amenities but I want to touch on something that really made a difference for me… the friendliness of everyone employed there! I truly wasn't prepared for this. I expect it from the front desk and concierge but it didn't stop there. The security staff, house keeping, wait staff, servers and more. EVERYONE greets you with a smile and an ALOHA. It really started even before I arrived. I had some questions before coming down to Hawaii and when I hung up the phone I was just tickled at how friendly, courteous, pleasant and helpful everyone was to me. I'm used to bad, rude, non-listening customer service from other large conglomerations so I just wasn't prepared. The PEOPLE there make it Paradise. I must say to those at the Ko'Olina Marriott — WELL DONE and MAHALO!

Great experience here at the Marriott. One of the many times that I actually enjoyed my stay-cation, due to the many arts and craft shops they have to offer. They think of Everything to keep you entertained whole you stay on the west side of Oahu.

It has been a great stay we were able to attend the lei making class. Which the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Every where you walk you are greated with a smile a Aloha. The rooms were clean and all the appliances worked properly. My family and I, all had a great STAY!

This is a beautiful resort and the amenities are more than other resorts I've been to. The service is spectacular, and the views are great. They've got gas grills with utensils and an herb garden for your use. If you bring a float, they have air for you to use to fill your floats up. The rocks have marine life living on them in the lagoons!

The views are beautiful, staff is friendly and rooms are spacious. If you like a more secluded location for a Hawaii vacation, this is a great spot. From previous experience, if you're on the side that faces the Disney hotel, you can hear their music, but the opposite side is quiet.

We went to visit friend staying at the Marriott Beach Club in Koolina. The facilities were very nice and clean. The pool areas were well maintained and modern. The kids enjoyed the pools and slides. Staff was very warm and helpful. They checked up on the people by the pool quite often, and helped us when our locker room key was not working.

Frankly, I prefer roughing it. I like spending my time away from the hotel. So I generally would not stay here. But my brother had a timeshare so we stayed here. Marriot would be great to bring a family to. You wouldn't need to leave the resort. But this is Hawaii… Silly not to see the rest of the island. To say that the staff was nice would be a gross understatement. Throughout the week I was continually impressed by their genuine cheerfulness and helpfulness. The pools were fun. Having the grills available to cook up some fresh fish was a nice touch. We had extended family visit us on several occasions. Everyone enjoyed it.

First time in Hawaii, and wow, what a beautiful place to stay at. Almost don't want to leave to go sight seeing, there's so much to see here as it is! A beautiful lagoon and private beach just add to an already special place. The staff here is amazing, very friendly and available whenever you need them. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit!

I bring my family here almost every year. We absolutely love it! The staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, modern, and we feel as if we are at home. The location is perfect: away from the crowds, within an hour from driving to any other location on the island, and you could be happy never leaving this spot your entire trip! Three pools, beautiful sand, fun entertainment and activities. It's our favorite place to vacation.

Tremendous service. Excellent place to vacation with the family.

1. All single bedrooms have connecting doors to other unit. Therefore, we could smell the cooking of food and hear talking from the next room. Never again would I accept this arrangement. 2. Studio villa is small. Maybe 1/2 the size of a regular new hotel room 3. No desk 4. No luggage rack 5. No premium cable. Must rent DVDs like in the old days. 6. Bathroom small no jetted tub. 7. Vending machines were empty for 4 days in the building. 8. Parking is confusing. As we stayed in different building from where we were parking. 9. Signage is small and difficult to read as you attempt to park car. Small font on dark back ground. 10. Not true blackout curtains 11. Fire alarm at 7:30am in morning to evacuate building. Later to be false alarm. 12. We had view of an oil refinery and docks. Could have been Detroit. Drop in a new hotel on the same grounds and would be more resort like. 13. Switched locks during stay (went from swipe to prox). Did cause some confusion for other guests. Should have scheduled switch before signing in.

The grounds and facilities so far are very nice. Our room is a 1 bedroom villa and is great and spacious for a party of 3. The only negative so far is only one dining option on site which is changing in May 2016. The one option available is non-special pub fare (we've only experienced lunch) but my spouse did throughly enjoy the pulled pork sandwhich.

Hadn't been there in years but when we were there it was great. View was of the ocean and of the city, just gorgeous. Service and the amenities were top class.

We love staying at the Ko Olina Beach Club. The lagoons are ideal for small children, the rooms are well appointed and the service is very nice. The activities available for kids is great for families. The gym has free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls as well as the regular cardio and weight machines. The pools are fun.

I've been coming to the beach club now since 2004. It used to be a quiet area however it has developed into quite the destination having multiple hotels within walking distance. Super clean facility and the staff is there to make your stay special.

Is a very clean Marriott property. It is practically right next to Disney Aulani. Have 3 pools and a lagoon right at the property. Plenty of activities for kids but some required to pay extra. There are BBQ on site if you bring your own food. There are two bars by the pool. Overall a very relaxing place.

Location and Overall resort was a good value. The pace is just right, not as crazy as Aulani. Only issue is usual hard to get 2 Room villas when you want them from marriott. Had to settle on 2 seperate efficiencies, not ideal but we were in. Overall it always feels like Marriot has more demand than supply, always.

Hotel is awesome everything you could possibly want to comfortably enjoy your stay with pool and ping pong tables and grills to cook steaks. Swimming pools are nice with slide and waterfall hot tubs are cool one has waterfall and another has beach view. The beaches are amazing 4 really nice lagoons that are perfect for snorkeling you can see turtles swimming around and lots of colorful fish this place is the perfect vacation destination.

It is very nice, with good facilities and activities for the whole family.

My fiancé and I had a one bedroom villa and it was so spacious and convenient to resort amenities. All of the property and restaurant staff were very friendly and the servers and hostess at Longboards were very familiar and addressed us by name the entire stay! The photos on the website do this resort no justice! Go out of your way to stay here! Gorgeous, peaceful, friendly.

This hotel was very good it was easy to find House Keeping cart's so we can ask question's. The restaurants are very good and fast there's lot's of good buffets. They have a good small store that's easy to shop they have coffee and they had everything. They had three pool's they where very big they had a pool that you could do lap's at and a volley ball net the other one was more like for a adult cause you have to be quiet so it was peaceful the other one was more like for a kid they had lot's of water fall's but you can't jump from them so there safe. They had a big cave that was very cool you had to go though a water fall. So it was a five star for my family. We celebrated Christmas there and the worker's where very nice always wishing us a Merry Christmas. I highly recommend this property. I'm nine year's old and travel extensively.

Excellent 2 bdrm villa accommodation, and pool/hot tub/lagoon amenities. Not an owner at Ko Olina but had great mountain/harbor/ocean view. Services and staff were excellent. Only problem was that cleaning staff threw out a box that we did not want thrown out. We utilized the full kitchen extensively. Second time there and I am sure we will be back.

I was given an ant infested room. Literally bugs in my bed, couch, fridge, nightable you name it there were bugs on it and in it. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I can provide pictures as well. Would really not recommend this hotel.

We come here every year as a family. It is truly a great place. We have never had a bad experience here.

Love the Marriott experience. Resort is well kept and find facilities outstanding our kiddos love the pool and quiet beach.

Great hotel. The beach was calm and relaxing and the pools were perfect for doing laps or just swimming for fun. The people were so nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

My husband and I actually just checked out of this hotel this morning and are wishing we were back there instead of the hotel we are now. The rooms are beautiful and the kitchens are full size with any appliances you need (even a rice cooker and a full size fridge). The staff is fantastic! A special thank you to Micah and Moana who were fantastic every time they saw us and actually remembered us :) we will definitely be coming back to start here again! The only reason why I didn't give them five stars is the parking for the tower we were in its valet only and all of their parking is $30 a night.

A great resort with amazing amenities. A bit out of the way from the city but that's the point.

This hotel was gorgeous. The rooms were exquisite, and there were several pools to choose from. The private bay was outstanding. The staff was so friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed suggestions for things to do in the area. They have free shuttles to various tourist locations as well. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I hope to go back soon.

Fantastic and relaxing hotel for families. We found Kapolei to be a relaxing and welcoming location on Oahu, away from the crowds of tourists in Waikiki. Lots of timeshare owners, which were very friendly and family oriented. Our son loved the Lagoon pool and the calm waters of the man-made cove on the beach. Do realize that you're pretty much locked into the resort for everything (meals, bar, etc. ) unless you have a car to run out to Safeway. It is about a $90 cab ride from the airport, so you might want to take a shuttle or arrange group transit. Longboards is nice, but don't count on frequent attendance from waiters if you're at the pool — you're better off going up to the bar yourself. That said, you can only get 1 drink per person in Hawaii, which is a bit annoying if you wanted to get drinks for your wife or your friends without them being present, but is a state law. Great exercise opportunities from swimming, Yoga, water aerobics, and the walking trail which goes through the Disney resort and the JW Marriott properties.

This resort is great. It is a lot different than staying on the North Shore, but it is still good. The North Shore is much prettier than this side of the island but the resort does a great job and providing wonderful scenery and landscapes. The lagoons by the resort are great for swimming, and the middle ones are even great for snorkeling (we swam with turtles in these lagoons). The staff was great and treated us well. The snow cones here are also excellent.
