Excellent place to stay. I know there are not a ton of hotels in the area but this one should be your first choice if you're coming in to town or just looking for a little stay-cation. The desk service is top notch and offered solutions to my issues, advice for site-seeing, and since I was eventually moving to town offered personal experiences and school advice. Every time I entered I was greeted with a smile and a almost every one of them remembered my name. Best hotel in town.

We booked king room and it was not available BUT we had to pay rate for it. As a gold member we did not get offered water at check in and could not check out at noon. We understand they are busy but staff treated us like it was an inconvenience that we stayed here since the time we walked through the doors. I do not recommend anyone stay here, they have no concern if you are satisfied or not! .

I would have rated 3.5 if possible, the hotel overall is ok and we have stayed here before but was very disappointed that lot of hair was all over the shower. The staff was friendly and accommodated us as we forgot our toothbrush and toothpaste. Notified the front desk and they jotted it down so I hope they get it taken care of. Overall if I needed to stay in the area I would stay there again but I'll be more observant next time.

Beautiful hotel nested in the foothills of North Carolina. Not far from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain were you can easily get on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and not far from ASU. Also home of Watson Fest. Every year at the end of April, Wilkes Community College produces Merle Fest. A blue grass and country venue that draws MANY top award winning singer such as Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Kenny Rogers, and many many more, just to name a few. And draws crowds as big as 178 thousand people. It's a four day event. Join us next April!

I have stayed here for 4 nights. Coffee is always as ready and hot. Room service, housekeepers have been polite and good. Breakfast every day has been also very good.

I will be going again. Have always been treated nice there.

We'll appointed. As good as it gets in its price range with many high end features. No way to guess it is a 20 years old property. Seems brand new.

This location is nice. It's been renovated recently, however the television is lacking, and the air conditioning didn't cool very well.

Staff enter my room while I was on my lunch break changing clothes with the do not enter sign on door. My husband and I heard a knock at our hotel room door while I was on my lunch break I was without a shirt so I didn't respond (while looking for my clothes) then a second knock knowing we had the sign on the door I figured I had a moment to look for my shirt then a female staff member enters our room even with sign on door, my husband stops her from proceeding when asked why she entered our room she says they were doing construction on the 4 floor and (I'm on 3rd floor) and wanted to know if I was enjoying my stay. Very upset 2nd hotel in town that entered my room with do not disturb sign on door (days inn)! I don't understand why this seems to be common practice. Also booked room and then later moved to handicap room on 1st floor and nothing they could do about it after we had paid and checked in hours earlier so no tub this was after they entered our room on 3rd floor.

The hotel was nice and clean. Enjoyed staying here. The staff way very nice. It's gets 3 star because of how unprofessional the staff looked and how the breakfast was handled. You take the dish back and fill them not bring the hotel plates out around people.

Rooms are spacious and so very comfortable. The location was central for everything we needed to do in town for the holidays and the staff were more than helpful in assuring that all our needs were well taken care of. Highly recommend to others!

I couldn't tell you in words how much I enjoyed my stay here. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. The room was extremely clean. I think my wife put it best in her review that from the staff alone that I wish I could give it 10 stars.

Tv too small and not a smart tv. Breakfast, not a good option. Pillows are hard as a rock. Location near Burger King, Wendy's, and Sagebrush.

The new remodel is amazing. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and everything is awesome. Wish I had taken a few pictures to share but you guys have done a great job.

Excellent facility. Everyone was very professional and very considerate towards the customers. Front desk men were awesome. Would definately stay there if I ever have to return to Wilkesboro. Great job guys… thumbs up.

Room and service was very nice. Friendly people around town. The surrounding area was not as lively since we are in a small town.

I stayed one night at the Hampton Inn in Wilkesboro. Overall, it was a nice stay, albeit a short one. Check-in was prompt as I had pre-checked in online the night before. The room and bathroom were clean and nice, typical for a Hampton Inn. The location is very convenient, right off US-421 and there's a Sagebrush Steakhouse right next door. I was tired after hiking all day, so after checking in, I just walked over and had dinner and drinks. There's complimentary breakfast in the morning though it wasn't the best breakfast I've had at a Hampton Inn. They did have a waffle maker that made four mini-waffles instead of a big one. But overall the selection and freshness wasn't as good as other Hampton Inns. That being said, it was a nice stay and I'd consider staying here again if I'm in the area.

Closet door mirror wouldn't stay on. Hairdryer has short cord. Beds very comfirtable.

Customer service is great. Rooms are a little outdated and the is a funny smell in the bedding. Other than that, they have breakfast, gym, outdoor pool and close to a few eatery places.

Rooms were nice and beds were incredibly comfortable! The ONLY reason I docked a star has more to do with some of the guests and not necessarily the establishment. I occasionally ran into guests doing things like flossing and clipping their nails out in public spaces (not around food though so don't worry! ) Housekeeping was always sure to apologize and cleaned immediately behind these guests. My guess is that they aren't allowed to take action like that, but I greatly appreciated their being on top of everything!

Was a very nice room and Mike, the front desk clerk was great. Lost my keys and he went out till he found my car and left a note on it for me. Good man.

I made a reservation with the Hampton Inn Wilkesboro while I was in town for the day. I actually did not end up staying here because they had somehow overbooked, but I was impressed with how they handled everything. They made alternative reservations for me at a competing hotel and also provided me with some cash to help make up for the inconvenience. The person working the desk also gave me good information about restaraunts and things to do in the area. While I can't comment on the rooms, I can say their customer service is excellent.

I always stay here when I come to Wilkesboro, it is a nice hotel but has absolutely the worst internet I have encountered at a Hilton property, I keep thinking it will get better but alas it is just as bad today as it was 5 years ago. If you need the internet while you are here don't expect to use the hotels service, either one of them.

The Hampton Inn of Wilkesboro is absolutely wonderful! They have the best staff I have ever met! Keep up the great work. Coffee is always hot, breakfast is fresh and hot and don't forget the beds are comfy!

The eggs looked weird. Bed was cozy. Think someone had an orgy at the Holiday Inn. I wasn't invited. Ate a big plate of bacon. Pooped beside the front desk and could hear them talking. I was kinda uncomfortable, but pooped anyways. Forgot what room I was in, but found out. Took a shower. The water was so-so. Dried off and made sure that dirty towel was left on the floor. I wanted to go back to sleep but it was 10:57pm. Y'all should charge by the hour if you go over. Not anything ridiculous, but something where it's acceptable and y'all can make some change. Fix the eggs. They look stupid. Orange juice was on point. One luv.

First rate. Events take me here every year and I'm never disappointed.

One over night stay. Basically just needed a bed for the night. The complimentary Internet worked for the most part. The complimentary breakfast was filling though the "scrabbled eggs" looked odd as in not natural but tasted fine. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. No noisy neighbors. Being tall, it was great to not have to slouch under the shower head. No HDMI port on the TV in my room. Overall a nice stay.

I stayed here for ~20 days and truly enjoyed it. Excellent staff from front desk, house cleaning and breakfast staff. I will def be returning next time I have business in the area.

We will ONLY stay at the Hampton Inn when we visit Wilkesboro, NC (one to two times a year). The staff is excellent, the rooms are always above average, and our stay always exceeds our expectations! Have to say that the front desk staff is always so friendly but Joy has really been exceptional. She treats us like family. She is so kind and patient with our five year old son. She is wonderful and a true asset to Hampton Inn. We have dealt with her on three different stays and she has always gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She truely goes the extra mile for all of her patrons and does so always with a smile on her face. Joy is AWESOME!

Customer service not the best. Called and made reservations at one rate and when I arrive to check in the price had increased by by.

For $130.00 (with tax) a night (2 consecutive nights, two different rooms, 106 and 226), I expected the floors to be vacuumed and no hair in the shower and tub. Room 226's bed was not level, so I had to sleep up-side-down (no big deal). Room 106 had the previous occupants hair in the shower. Long blond woman hair, gross. Their breakfast variety stinks. And you can get all of this for a mere measly price of $130.00 a night. Red Carpet down the street is $58.00 + tax a night. I'll be staying there from now on.

We stayed one night at Hampton in wilksboro, the first time we have stayed at a Hampton, we always stay at choice properties. If you leave something of value there you will never see it again. I left 2 expensive necklaces no one turned them in, so that was bad they need to check their house keepers, not very honest. Will not stay there again.

Nice room; nice TV; rooms are larger than most Hamptons. Fitness center has a weight machine (yea! ). Food is average at best — all pre-packaged microwave selections (only hot food is a waffle iron). Wireless is faster than most Hamptons.

Not the cheapest place but is very comfortable and the service was also excellent.

Okay, whoever said the food is good, is smoking large amounts of crack, and works for the hotel. Everything is prepackaged plastic. For example, for a hot meal you've got a pre-cooked omlette wrapped in plastic and then wrapped in a paper bag that you nuke. Ever hear of leaching chemicals? Your plastic fork and plast knife are both individually wrapped in more plastic. But this is Wilkesboro. And their ain't much choice when it comes to food.
