This is amazing! It's new. It's clean. But staff is OVER THE TOP great. I am amazed. We are moving and waiting for our house to be ready. So we will be here awhile. We are very happy.

This hotel was pretty good front desk was very kind and nice. Room size was good bathtub is a bit slippery so you have to ask for a mat. Free laundry the gym is nice. If you plan on staying for a long period of time just make sure you're not in a contract.

Great convenient place to stay when on business. Checkin staff was super friendly. Other staff was talking loud in the hallway at different times. Nice workout room.

Clean, professional accommodations, plenty of space. The kitchenettes are nice as well. Great place to spend a week between classes!

I cannot say enough about this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the kitchenette has everything you need and the laundry is free.

Conveniently located place with the ability to have home style meals prepared by yourself in your room. Great place to stay if spending a weekend or a week at the Seminary just a couple miles up the road.

My stay at candlewood was very good and next I'm in North Carolina I'm looking forward to staying at candlewood again. 5 stars.

Check in at 11 pm 15 min after we got in the room front desk nock on my door complaining about noise, if you have children or planing in taking a shower at arrival past 10 pm or if you want the room to be clean every day, this place is not for you.

I recently have the pleasure of staying at this location in Wake Forest, N. C. And although the initial encounter got off to a somewhat rocky start, the hotel staff, manager and front desk attendants collectively, quickly smoothed everything out and made my stay absolutely fantastic. I so appreciated the way the staff continued to check on me throughout my stay to make sure all was right with me and that I was comfortable and they were oh so tolerant of my, at times, edgy city behavior. Thanks again guys, the entire establishment get a 5 star rating from me. Can't wait to return for a second stay.

Lovely suite! Great value! The kitchenette was well stocked with necessities (pots and pans, dishwasher detergent, etc). The room itself was nice; the bed had throw pillows and mints, and the bathroom was large and also well stocked. Would absolutely stay here again.

Good location. Clean room. Good service. Bed could be more comfortable. No breakfast included.

Clean rooms with friendly staff. Place does not offer a pool or breakfast area but does have a pantry you can purchase items from. The hotel is located next to a Walgreens and a gas station. A quick drive a s you are near a Target and restaurants.

Everything was great, minus the fact that my room was not cleaned by the custodians or restocked with towels the next day.

Fantastic beds, pillows, and very clean rooms. So comfortable. We slept. So well there. I wanted. To stay longer. It's an extended stay hotel so they have microwave and popcorn in the room. It was on the expensive side for extended stay hotels — but we slept so gooood!

Was very surprised at how clean room was. Nice place. Does not have breakfast, but has coffee. Rooms have kitchens.

From where I have been staying im very impressed I have been in north carolina for a month and this hotel has been the nicest of them all very clean and the staff is wonderful.

I spend 4 nights a week in hotels and I'm not easily impressed. Over the 6 days I stayed at the hotel almost every employee asked me how my stay was going & if I needed anything. When my business trip got extended they jumped through hoops to accommodate me and went above and beyond. I VERY rarely take the time to post reviews, but they earned this one!

Very large rooms with stove tops and full size fridge. Good for extended stay.

It was just ok no many english speaking employees.

Took the opportunity to meet some old friends while safety in my area was uncertain because of Hurricane Irma and wound up at this hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating, even though things were probably a bit chaotic on their end. Still, I at least know a good place to stay at next time I'm back in Wake Forest.

Great service, friendly staff, a home away from home. I come here about twice a year. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I was very pleased with my stay! The room was cozy and had all the
kitchen appliences needed, plus tv, DVD, radio, etc. A well stocked
snack, plus necessities, room was always available. The staff was
friendly and engaging. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Wish we would have found this hotel awhile ago. Our usual hotel was booked and this one is so much roomier. Great for having a separate space from the kids. Free laundry is a great bonus. Will book again next year.

The biggest complaint I have is the noise from other guests. The walls are so paper thin you can hear everything from all sides. The hotel was clean, and pleasant, however sleep eluded me.

I was visiting a friend who was staying here. I was very surprised at how large the rooms were and inexpensive. I did not expect there to be a full sized fridge in the room. Plus there was a microwave, flat top stove with 2 burners, and dishwasher. Very nice! I would stay here for sure.

I'm a truck driver OTR Iv stayed at Candlewood several times in the past by far this was the nicest one would go there again.

I am an IHG Platinum Member and stay in the IHG brand of hotels several times each month. I booked a room online today like I have done 100 times in the past and received an email with the confirmation number (68354068). I flew in from Miami late tonight and drove about 40 minutes from the RDU airport to the hotel. I get there around 11:45PM and the the front door was locked. I called on the lobby phone and their unprofessional employee answered and before I could say anythi…ng he told me they did not have any more rooms. I told him that I have a reservation and I can show him the confirmation. He told me that " I need to call IHG and talk to them because it wasn't his issue. " I called IHG and surprise they are closed because it is now after midnight. I called the employee back and and asked if I he had another number for IHG and he got frustrated because "I'm upstairs and I have to walk downstairs. " Keep in mind I am still standing outside behind the locked door after midnight with a reservation that is not being honored. I waited 10 minutes and he never came downstairs and so I just left. I called around and no other IHG hotels or other brands of hotels in the area had rooms because of the NC State Fair. I finally found another hotel that was 45 minutes away and had to drive until after 1:00AM to get there. ***Edit*** Owner followed up to make things correct. Thank you.

Very wonderful customer service. We came last week and planned to stay longer but needed to leave early to prepare for Hurricane Matthew back at home. We used a 3rd party booking web site and Candlewood STILL refunded us for the extra day we needed to check out early. VERY kind and customer oriented people. We have been staying here for several years, started soon after it opened, it's awesome value for your money and first class accommodation every time, don't wait till too close to your visit to book your room, they fill up fast, the only time we stay anywhere else us when we can't get in here.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. We travel all over the east coast and when we are in or near Raleigh this is the hotel we choose to stay at. The staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms are always clean and our puppy is welcome and treated with as much respect as we are.

I stayed here for a church conference and I could not have had a better experience! I don't get the reviews on here I never had any problems with hotel staff or mgt. Matter of fact I had a issue with my upstairs neighbors running track across the floor I called mgt around 6 am. They kindly apologized for any inconvenience and not only that they sent a gift bag full of "goodies" for my complaint I filed and I never had another issue. The staff were very attentive to any of my needs, room was super clean no issues with bedding and I too checked in after midnight I couldn't have been more impressed with the room I was in at that. Plus, I come from Southern California where hotels here are never good! This is the only hotel I will stay at in the RDU when I come to visit.

This hotel was listed in the on-line booking sites as pet friendly. Maybe so if you have a cat or a gerbil. The sign in the lobby forbids pets to cross the lobby. The so called "pet potty area" is very very tiny and can't be reached from the hotel door which dogs are allowed to use unless you carry your dog or walk them over about 30 yards of scorching blacktop or concrete. There is a strip of grass about two or three feet wide between the mulched shubs and the sidewalk. It is posted to. If you dog urinates there you are subject to a $75 fine for each instance. My dog (greyhound) weighs 65 pounds and I can't carry her. The hotel is surrounded with mulched shrubbery, would it be too much trouble to add a few cubic yards of mulch instead of grass between the only door pets are allowed to use and the parch of grass dogs can use so they could get there? IAND neither the information button or the guide button on the remote for the TV work. I had to ask at the desk for a channel line up. And there is a non-refundaboe $70 pet deposit for the privilege which they spring on you when you show up.

Stayed here the week of 03/08/15. While it is a very clean and comfortable place, I was not to happy to find out that upon check-in, there were 3 forms with several places to initial. One of these forms had my complete and hand-written credit card number on it. Later, I found out that these registration forms (including my full credit card number) are kept on the front desk in an unsecured file where any employee or perhaps even any guest or visitor could quickly access if nobody is present behind the registration counter. I would have otherwise given this location 5 stars but for their lack of concern for the security of my personal and credit card information, I give them 1 star. I hope they correct this issue as I did express my dissatisfaction upon checking out. On a side note, I have no idea what the $1.00 per day "Access Surcharge" is. Seems trivial but why? After posting the above review with 1 Star, I was contacted by the Operations Manager about this review as well as the one I posted on TripAdvisor. She asked that I reconsider my 1 star rating because the staff work hard to take care of their patrons. I advised her that my personal identity information security was far more important of an issue and that making any changes to my review would not be considered until they made some serious policy changes on how their customer's personl and credit card information are stored and secured.

Well I thought this hotel seemed ok I checked in around 1 am and discovered that the sheet was damaged immediately took it to front desk and was replaced and everything was ok. Til next day when I went to pay for our room and I was charged upon speaking with ally the smart a#!
