I chose this Hotel for the low price and the Military discount. I was not expecting much but was blown away with how nice it was. Was much cleaner and modern looking than most hotels that are price way above there rate. The management was very friendly as well. Will be staying here on my over nights in the area!

Honestly I’ve never felt more at home away from home. I’m introverted and I even spent time in the lobby. For the price and atmosphere, you can’t beat it. I see no reason to use any other hotel. The staff is SUPER nice, reassuring, and patient. I loved my stay here.

Good place to stay, clean and economical.

So far it has been a great visit. Front desk staff was very friendly, and our room is nice and clean. I am able to move around in my wheelchair which hasn't been the case at the last two hotels that we stayed at.

Friendly staff, great rooms, excellent location only 10-15 minutes from downtown Raleigh. It's the perfect hotel if you're just looking for a place to relax after a long day of exploring. Nice hot breakfast with juice, muffins, yogurt, waffles, toast and cereal. Beds are very comfortable and I slept very well. This place feels like you're staying in someone's home. It's innocent, relaxing and staff is so humble. If you play guitar, they'll let you perform for them in the lobby.

My daughter and I just stayed here a couple of days ago and I couldn't have asked for a better stay anywhere else. The staff was very, very friendly and very attentive to our needs. We had a room with 2 queen beds with mini frig and microwave. The room was very spacious and very clean with plenty of toiletries and towles. The pics on there website site is very accurate and up to date. And it was located in a nice neighborhood directly beside of the Crabtree mall. If I'm in the Raleigh area again I will definitely stay here. I wish it would give me the option to give them 10 stars. I have been telling everyone about this hotel every since we got home.

Been staying here for weekend trips for about 2 years now. Very friendly staff. Rooms are great never had a problem. Definently recommend if you're on a budget but still want an awesome hotel!

Good experience here, no extra "fluff" the other hotels have but neither is the cost. Priced nicely. Bed was comfy and shower was fine. My only beef was the parking lot space lacking.

I came on business for a month. Excellent hotel for affordable rate. Great customer service. I will stay again.

This hotel is surrounded by several other hotels (hilton gardens, la quinta, holiday inn) etc. Not only is America's Best Value Inn much less expensive… the rooms are excellent! They are clean, the beds are surprisingly comfortable and you get fast internet access and they even have HBO. Unlike the other hotels that charge you hundreds of dollars a night and brag about amenities that noone needs. Seriously I will always choose this hotel over the others because the rooms are great, breakfast is delicious, and most importantly, the thing that makes this hotel number 1, is the staff. I guarantee that you wont find a hotel staff as polite, understanding, and helpful. Even the general manager Mr P constantly checks on the residents to make sure they're enjoying their stay. I will 100% pick this hotel over any other moving forward! :-)

The rooms looked really clean. The bed was nice. The rooms are not to noisy. Especially for a Saturday night. I gave them a 1 star because the room 302 they put me in had bed bugs. I went down stairs to have my room changed. The clerk tried to argue with me about it. I showed him the bites. He said sometimes people get rashes. He changed my room. To 313. On the too shelf of the fridge there was a note that said "check the sheets if it says Nk on the too left corner. I slept in those sheets last night". I pull the sheets back and there it is NK. I guess America's Best is not good enough anymore. More than that there is no parking I was told to park on the street or in the Hampton Inn across the street. The clerk admitted it is unsafe to park in the dark lot in the back.

I booked this hotel in advance for my wife and I for the Bruno Mars show last night. Based on the reviews, I figured it must be decent. Boy was I wrong! The customer service is incredible. The gentleman at the front desk upon check-in was extremely pleasant, informative, and genuinely cared about his customers. However, upon arrival to our room, we noticed that the hallways smelled of stale, musty air. No big deal, we can work around this. The room, was absolutely terrible. The ceiling in the bathroom appeared to be damaged by water, and had been repaired, but not finished. There was a previous tenants hair all over the bathroom floor, and somehow the ironing board looks as if someone had died on it. It was absolutely disgusting and stained all over. The bed linens were also questionable (multiple cigarette burns in the comforter), so needless to say, this review is being written from home because we did not stay. We made our way to the concert, and returned to the room to check out the same day, and make the 3 hour trip back. I have posted pictures to this review, and will also contact the management directly via the email address given to me on the business card. The gentleman at the desk at check-out didn't seem to have the means to present us with a refund, so I will go about that through management. I do not recommend staying here. At least not room 316!

This hotel was amazing! The room was very clean and neat. I was pleasantly surprised by how upscale it seemed in spite of the price. For the money you are getting the quality and value of a room that would be $100+. I've stayed at many hotels around the country but for the money I couldnt believe how satisfied this place made me feel. Kepp up the excellent work! Extremely friendly staff as well!

This is a perfectly simple hotel for a one night stay if you're driving across the country. On our way from Wilmington, NC to Colorado, we had a pup with us who stayed in our in-law's pet friendly room. There was a little confusion as our puppers popped into our room for a few minutes during check out. Turns out, our room wasn't a designated pet friendly room, and when someone saw, we were charged $50. I spoke with Shakema (sp? ) the front desk manager, and she was very understanding when we explained the dog had only been in our room for a few minutes. She was very professional and kind, despite having delt with an angry customer only moments before. Thanks again!

It was a great place to stay while transferring from Boston to Raleigh. The AC worked, the room was clean, the staff friendly, the showers were hot, the bed comfy, and the TV entertaining. Plus it was easy to get to & from. Overall it well exceeded my expectations and if I ever have need to stay there again I suspect I will have just as good of a stay.

Hands down best staff ever. Don't let name or price steer you away. This is a hidden gem in Raleigh. Rather on vacation, business need a quiet night to yourself this place will more than please you. Great location yet hidden from the hustle and bustle so remains nice and quiet. Rooms on smaller side but not small, newly remodeled very clean and again the staff is the friendliest and most helpful out of any place I've ever stayed. Great job thank you.

For the price paid, this is an above average place to stay. The room was clean, simple and modern with a large window and a large television. Bathroom was good… new eco toilet. The gentleman at the front desk was not only kind and courteous, but also perceptive of my needs. It is doubtful that I will stay anywhere else when in Raleigh. This place hits all the marks!

Good value for the price. Decent room and beds. Parking lot was small but additional parking along the street and in the lot across the street.

Quite a shoddy little place, rooms are what is expected just two beds, a TV and a little bathroom. Breakfast is ok, though there is a very limited selection of items. Downstairs/basement rooms are a bit sketchy given they open onto a dark open parking lot so I would try to get a ground floor or above room. On the plus side the staff were very willing to help even with our groups special needs and it is conveniently located near a large shopping mall.

You Get what you pay for. I had the non smoking room. Nice staff, great location, breakfast is basic. Room was fine.

Requested non smoking room — room reeked of ciggerette smoke. There was a burn mark on the table stand. Refrigerator made an annoying ticking sound. Nothing was dusted so I literally took a wet towel to everything. Luckily I had my own air freshener and linen spray with me. Used it but the room still reeks of old ciggerette smoke. Obviously that smell just doesn't go away. The ironing board is disgusting not that I'm going to use it but to have just in the room is gross. Very disappointed as I have stayed in nicer/cleaner/cheaper hotels. Would not recommend and will never stay in another one again.

Kudos to Chris and his staff for a very pleasant stay over several abridged weeks during the month of June 2015. The exterior — well lit, adequate parking and clean. The common areas — also clean with nice furniture and some artwork. The room (s) — definitely clean, modern fixtures in the bathrooms, powerful air conditioning units and ample drawer space. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for decent extended stay with solid customer service.

Despite requesting a non smoking room, our room smelled strongly of smoke and we were told there were no more available. Our room was on the top floor but there was no elevator so we had to lug our suitcases up the narrow stairwell. The room itself was bare bones without so much as an alarm clock and very little personality. The only thing I likes was the microwave and mini fridge. The ironing board was dirty and covered in burn marks. The pillows were about half the length. Of regular pillows. Neither nightstand had an alarm clock. They have dispensers for shampoo and body wash but not lotion. When we asked if there was. Lotion available at the front desk we were advised to walk to the Hampton Inn across the street because that hotel actually had a little store. The parking was atrocious. When we got back at 9:45 from dinner there were no parking spots. My husband ended up dropping me off and parking across the street At $191 for a 2 night stay I thought it'd be a little nicer. Guess I was wrong. I will never stay here again.
