Such wonderful hosts! Love the different overnight options, the cleanliness and convenience!

The Staff is amazing. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. I was there 10/19/21. I'm already planning another trip back. The food is better than the Five Star restaurants I've eaten at. Next time I will be sure to bring more Trail Magic. Talking to the Hikers was a blessing.

The transformation over the past 18-months is amazing. This has always been my favorite launching point for section hikes. But the improvements that have been made make this a must stay destination. The food is incredible, the atmosphere couldn’t be more welcoming, and the environment could not be more wholesome.

By far the best B&B/hostel experience I have had on the AT. The people there care about your experience and everything there is amazing. The breakfast is literally the best I have ever had. Go there now.

This place is amazing! Awesome breakfast but the food truck dinners are even better! Shannon, Dave, and Chains are really great hosts… I think I might just move in! 😁

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic Birthday Adventure. The breakfasts are to die for. Everything is cooked fresh each morning. Wonderful pastries, unique egg soufflé, south style sausage Biscuit & gravy, home-fries, sausage, fresh fruit, fantastic bold coffee, each breakfast is a little different. There is always cookies and other pastries all day. Our suite was absolutely fantastic. The common area is relaxing. Dave & Shannon are the best, Thank You for a wonderful 4 days. God Bless.

Fantastic! The hostel is clean and has great amenities. The breakfast is to die for. Fantastic and reliable shuttle services. And David and Shannon are amazing hosts.

Their breakfast is the best. So many selections! Highly recommend the French toast with local honey and pecan syrup. Crispy potatoes with carmelized bacon, tomatoes pie, egg souffle, and too many more to list all. Whether hiking the Appalachian Trail, or just want a get away for a couple of days at the B&B, this is the place to go. Oh, did I mention they also have a food truck that chef David has open later in the day after their fabulous breakfast.

I highly recommend this place world-class food with world-class host perfect spot to relax.

Me an my gf took a spontaneous trip there last night. Upon arrival I Arlington lot was full so I thought ok. Then I step out to this amazing aroma food truck glory. We checked in placed order to our things to the treehouse that's right treehouse. Once returned to general store our meal was ready fresh hit an delicious.

Absolutely loved our stay every bed/room is worth it.
I stayed in the Jefferson room and another in the house, checked out the treehouse (super cool) and hung out in the bunk house. Best hosts so far on my hike!

Comfortable beds, fantastic food and wonderful people. I highly recommend. They also have a good selection of hiker resupply and fair prices, had no reason to go into town.

The best place I've stayed while hiking the Appalachian Trail. The black bean teriyaki burger is the best food I've had within a mile of the trail. I will likely come back here in the future.

What an amazing stay, right on the river! The Cali-King bed was a steal compared to the price of two bunks and was still private, even though it had curtains for a door. The breakfast rumors are true, ITS AMAZING! The staff is super friendly, and the place looks brand new. The laundry was the best so far on the trail too. Only $1 for soap and unlimited use of the washers and dryers for free! You can’t skip this place. Amazing Wi-Fi even in the tent sites, and a great selection of food is left out throughout the entire day too.

! Awesome! Beautiful surroundings, spacious comfortable rooms, gourmet breakfast, and genuine hospitality make this the perfect place for a stay at Roan Mt. We stayed in the Isabella Room which was comfy, spacious and had charming cottage decor. Mary, Shannon, David, and Tyler are exemplary hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is to die for with french toast, pancakes, sausages, egg tacos, casseroles, souffles, fruit and homemade pastries. The large family is super comfortable allowing you to visit with the hikers off the AT trail, and the porch is complete with rockers and a hammock. A perfect place for a getaway. We will be back!
