Have been staying at OBBC since 1983 and have owned since 2006. Very well-kept and clean! Family-friendly environment with many activities.

I have been an owner there since 1981 and it is so well maintained. Excellent staff, great maintenance workers and one of the best places to spend your vacation! Would recommend to anyone to stay there.

Love coming here with my crafting friends. Everyone is so nice in the office. April is helpful even before arriving. Candice, the activity and recreation director, is so friendly and added fun events to our week. We enjoyed making sugar scrub, homemade soap, painting and decorating an anchor and lighthouse! In addition, she guided us through Water Aerobics. Plus, it was fabulous to finish off the aerobics with a soak in the adjoining hot tub. This is our 4th year and plan to return every winter and in part is because of the Candice and her activities.

We had the best time last week, just made it down before they stopped tourist from coming and we couldn’t of asked for a nicer place to stay… Everything was clean and neat, we had everything to make our stay great! I will be back soon. I wanted to mention the office staff was awesome too!

Great vacation spot with lots to do and see. Great restaurants nearby is another plus. The Beach Club always maintains and frequently updates the interiors.

Best resort on the beach! The staff is friendly and helpful. The units are spacious and stocked well. The amenities make the stay enjoyable without having to leave the property.

Its quiet! The employees are excellent from the front desk to security and maintenance. There is some who helps you with your luggage. I love this place! It's my home away from home!

Since 1981 we have been meeting our same Friends from all over the USA the same weeks and sharing a years worth of family updates. Such a wonderful place with all the amenities you could need AND the beach is nice always. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our family has been vacationing at the Beach Club for over 15 years. We go the same two weeks every year. Last year it seemed to have declined some and this year was even worse. Every night there was a group of people in the pool area blasting music, yelling (profanities), and taking over the entire area. They were all intoxicated and most likely some underage. It was to the point that our neighbors were complaining that they could hear it in their bedroom. There were multiple patrons complaining about the situation and upset that their kids couldn't even use the pool in the evening. Even after the pool was closed they were hopping over the side of the fence by the hot tub and sneaking back in, which could be a liability for the beach club. The same thing happened last year and we thought maybe it was a one time thing. If it is going to be an ongoing issue we may have to find a more family oriented place. I understand people wanting to party and have a good time, but it shouldn't be at the expense of all other patrons. The bathrooms in the condo looked nice and remodeled. Great beach area as always and easy access to the beach. We did find several cockroaches in our room this year, which has never happened in the past. All in all we still had a good vacation.

I have been staying at this resort yearly since the mid 90s. Our unit is always spotless and comfortable, and is perfectly sized. There is a full kitchen, dining and living areas, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, and recently renovated baths including a luxurious spa tub in the master. Beach access is easy and the three pools give us options that aren't usually too crowded. The staff is terrifically friendly. I always look forward to our stay.

The rooms with a number and the letters either a or b are big enough for one family. The beach is very nice but there is a lot of sticks on the beach. The beach is also usually crowded during the morning to mid day, after 5 and 6 it lessens a lot. The pools are nice with there being at least 3 and two hot tubs. Overall nice resort, I've been coming here for over 10 years.

This is our 4th time staying here and never disappointed. Affordable. Clean rooms. Short walk to the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

Always a treat! We love our time there! The individual tables outside each room IS PERFECT for every family, and really encourages the community feel. Everyone is always so friendly. Highly suggest!

Loved it so much, I brought a 2 week timeshare. I have unit 17A which is a one bedroom and one bathroom. Absolutely beautiful and definitely is a home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area, bedroom with closet. Linen closet in the hallway, lighting is good. Tvs in living and bedrooms. Shower with nice large tub. They supply a few toiletries like 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of tp a few trash bags, dishwasher pods and dish soap, bath and pool towels. Yes you have to take out your own trash (i don't see the issue with that) and yes there is a mid week linen change if need be. Awesome place to stay. Right by the ocean! 2 outdoor pools with hot tubs and 1 indoor pool with hot tub. (Be warned the teens may act like a holes in the hot tubs, but I just ignore them). Definitely worth a call! Worth it all!

My family has been coming here since I was born. This location continues to be well maintained and they’re always finding ways to make improvements. The variety in unit sizes makes it great for a coupes getaway or a family vacation. You can’t beat the location either, with lots of options to walk down to the beach. I’ll never stay anywhere else when visiting the Outer Banks.

My friend and I checked in around 3 pm and were quickly put into our room. The room was very clean and we'll set up. The rooms are close to the beach, less than a 3 minute walk. I definitely recommend this resort for a long stay in the OBX area.

This place was perfect for our family! It is right on the beach and has a playground and indoor and outdoor pools! The apartments come with all linens and toiletries needed and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that they didnt have my reservation when I got there and they charged my credit card twice, but all was fixed without much delay. We would love to visit again soon!

Older but well-maintained resort. Will definitely return if in the area again. No complaints. Approachable staff like laundry personnel, etc. Who were willing to assist. Nicely located right on the beach. We were lucky to get an awesome view of the Atlantic. It was to die for.

My little one star review isn't gonna make a dent, but this is the reality: there are two types of resort/vacation spots: those who are motivated solely by money and those that care about their customers. Which do think this is? Right. It's Saturday morning and contractor work began bright and early before 9 AM. This is supposed to be somewhere to relax. Don't come here if you are a light sleeper. Whoever hired the contractors should have said "don't begin work before 11 on a weekend".

Rated a Gold Crown. Not hardly in my opinion. Stayed in one bedroom. Very small. Place just had updated facelift (new carpet… paint) but built in 80's so 80's small bathroom & kitchen. Front desk folks no help for any questions about where to eat what-where to go. Has one washer & dryer under one of buildings but rusty. We used towns laundromat. I wouldn't come here.

Our beachfront 2-bedroom unit is amazing! We love being able to see and hear the ocean from the wall of windows. The unit is modern, well appointed, lovely decorated, and the staff are very helpful. While this our first visit, it won't be our last!

Just spent a week there in a Condo. It was off season but the weather was pretty great. Mid 70s most of the week. A far cry Maine. The facilities were clean but the area itself is pretty well shutdown. There is still plenty to do such as Wright Brothers Memorial, Sand Dunes, 4x4 on the Beach and more. Just plan accordingly. There are a lot of cheap/free things to do with families. Some great places to eat as well. An a positive side, beach clothes in the area are quite inexpensive during off season. The place itself a 3 bedroom two bath condo was perfect for our family of 9 utilization of the pull out couch watching necessary but no problem. The staff was helpful and kind. The indoor pool is a bit small but the hot tub was great. The tennis courts could use some work to fix but playable.

We spent 4 days there and really enjoyed it. The bathrooms had been redone since our last visit and were very nice. There is still a lot to do in the obx even in January.

Big rooms, an indoor, heated pool and hot tub as well as an outdoor pool (not heated) and hot tub. The resort is right on the water. The rooms have Wi-Fi a big kitchen, elevators to all floors. We had a great time.

My father in law has a timeshare here. We went to the indoor pool. It was very warm even though it was cold and raining outside. The staff was helpful and the facilities were clean.

Beautiful beach location, nice rooms with fridge and microwave, continental breakfast, outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room… lovely place.

There were frequent smokers next to our room and since smoking is not allowed inside, they sit on the porch to smoke. I can always smell it and it gives me headaches and ruins my time and view on the porch. There were numerous cigarette butts littered in the sand and instead of smelling the fresh ocean air I could smell smoke from those smoking on the beach. I wish the resort would be smoke free on the entire property and not just in the rooms and also that the beach in front of the resort was free of litter. Other than the smoking issue the rooms are well maintained and the staff was kind. I just wish they would change their smoking policy.

The room was very nice but I Didn't like having to do own housekeeping since it was a hotel resort. Had to take trash to dumpsters. Had to take all sheets off beds and put in bag along with towels to be washed.

Very well equipped, spacious, nicely decorated units. The beach front ones would have a great view. There is minimal if any sound proofing so one can hear people in the other condos and road noise at night. The laundry machines need $1.75 in quarters which is a pain IMO.

This beach front resort has beautiful 1 and 2 bedroom suites as well as panoramic ocean view penthouses. My only very minor complaint is none of the unit parking spaces have been set up to support level 1 or 2 EV car charging. There are receptacles all over the place but impossible to access with gas guzzler vehicles parked in front of them.

Great Condition. First class facilities. Comfortable. Clean. Great retreat. Perfect OBX location for all directions.

The venue was very nice and well kept. But the business end is not that great we paid $600 for two kegs of beer and only used one. So the Resort sold beer on us the next day very unprofessional.

We have been time share owners for many years and this is the best maintained and run establishment we have been involved with. Excellent location and friendly staff.

Aside from stepping right out of the 80's, the facilities here are pretty well kept up with. Rooms were clean as well towels. The pool was kept clean too. You also have beach front access right out your door so that's a plus. Overall a decent place to rent out when staying near Nags Head and surrounding areas.

We absolutely love this place. We bought our unit in 1980 and have been coming down ever since. There's only four years that we weren't able to come because of schedule conflict. My son, my niece, my nephew, my brother, my sister-in-law have so many great memories of this place. We have two good friends that used to come the first five years until they moved. I have a girlfriend with us this year that has been here five times in the last 11 years. If we didn't have this place, and be able to use the same week every year, we probably would not be going on vacations in the summer, Since we own it, it forces us to take advantage and come and enjoy, we absolutely love it!

It's a great place for a family vacation or to just spend the weekend if your a member. If you're not a member its kind of pricey if you have to rent down there. All they have is condos, but it is worth the price and a very nice place with all of the necessities of home, and they offer a lot of different things to do while you are staying there, and also give you a pass for the YMCA if you are interested in going. I really love going there to spend a weeks vacation. A.

Stayed there this holiday weekend. From Thur to Sunday. Great place, fully stocked kitchen utensils. Would definitely go again. 2 outdoor pools, one indoor, and 2 hot tubs. All very. Clean and we'll maintained. Only drawbacks. Some ammenities should be explained, such as the 2 outdoor pools, location of showers and restrooms at the pool. And they scheduled some parking lot maintenance which was very loud and annoying for 2 days in a row on a holiday weekend. Several patrons complained. They were sandblasting the lines in the parking lot! That's when we were actually told about the second pool. But not knowing about the showers and restrooms almost had us going back to our rooms again for the bathroom. Another patron that had been there for several days showed us where they were and stated that the management had not given them that info either. Aside from those few issues, it was an incredible weekend and great place to stay.

So… most of our Friends and Families know about our extended stay at the Outer Banks Beach Club. We stayed there for the week end for one of John's closest friend's Daughter's Wedding. It was a Wonderful Wedding, the Bride and Groom were Stunning and OM Goodness they looked so Happy! We wish them the Best that life has to offer.
We did end up becoming Stranded there for an extra Day. So we also expected to be charged for the extra time at maybe a discounted fee. I just spoke to them and was told that there would be no charge for the extra night we had to stay and they… "Apologized for our inconveniences"! Thank You OBBC! Just thought people aught to know of a place that has more than fair business practices towards their consumers.

I've been coming here almost every year since I was born. I've grown up with the families here and have so many great memories of this place. That being said, the buildings are quickly becoming outdated. A fresh coat of paint would be an easy update to the old, brown buildings. The interiors are spacious and well maintained. The next generation of owners are starting to stay there and this complex needs an update. I used to love the karaoke/pool parties. The snack shack needs to become a bar and the hot tubs need to be hotter. Other than that I still love the place!

It is close to several good restaurants and shopping spots. It's right on the beach house. Nice outdoor pool but the indoor pool is across the street. All units do not have elevators, but I am told they will be added next year. Unit is a nice size and clean.

It's pretty decent. They just upgraded the bathrooms and that's really nice. They also fixed the paint on the bottom of the pools so it's anti slip which was a huge issue last year with injuries. Wi-Fi in the rooms is also very nice and fast. Bed spreads and linens need updating. Been the same pretty much my whole life. It's my parents timeshare so we come here every year. They also added elevators finally so my parents can come back. Beach access is cool too with a ramp and closed in patio.

Bad weather but great service!

Had a week long stay at the resort. The rooms were nice, clean and large. Even though my unit did not over look the watere, it was nice, and only had a 3 minute walk over a private boardwalk to the water. For our down times, Wi-Fi and cable TV worked well. As for activities, there was never a shortage of things to do, water activities, as well as historical and nature places to see.

It's beautiful! So clean and great people!

What a location… we had a penthouse with view of the ocean… wow what a view. Right on the beach, with amazing decks and walkways.

We've come here every year for the past 3 years. We love it, and we're going back this year too. This time for two weeks. Can hardly wait. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good room and the guy at the check in counter was super friendly. However, what is the point of house keeping if I have to fully clean the room myself? (Ex. Trash, linens, etc. ) We were good until the day of checkout. We called reception 0800 to ask for a late checkout and we transferred to house keeping. We let them know that we wanted a late checkout, they said 1100 was the latest they could do, we said that was great. 1000 rolls around and in strolls house keeping while we're getting dressed. No knocks, nothing. The maid pops an attitude after being told we had a late checkout and asked to leave. Going to a different place next year, never coming here again.

I am an owner, 2E corner unit 2 br. Gorgeous place. I just came back. I have week 44 and love it! Looking for early September week.

We have been an owner here for more than 20 years. We bought our 2nd week last year. We think it is one of the best timeshares you can stay at. This is the 2nd week in JUly and it is great to just plan on being at the beach. I must say there isn't much entertainment but we come for the beach.
