Highland Manor is a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay, with astonishing views. The staff is amazing and always accommodating. It is locally owned by the absolute sweetest, lovely family. If my family is visiting The Smokies, we're staying at Highland Manor Inn.

Thank you for her kindness and hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable. I tried to leave it as clean as possible by taking out the garbage and picking up everything. We love staying at your hotel everytime we come. We stayed in 213 for Christmas eve and Christmas day.

Our family enjoyed a nice stay at the inn Thanksgiving Week! Beautiful views and very clean! The blueberry muffins were the best! Highly recommend!

I found my home away from home. I absolutely loved my stay. I am a light sleeper and our room was super quiet, beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. Can not wait to come back!

Family run and very clean! Her sports car needs to be red, but the inn is quiet and peaceful. Our Miata group finds this the perfect spot to call base for the week — year after year!

I don't recommend them because the parking was horrible and we did our family reunion there, you would have thought we would of have had places to park but there wasn't any we were bumper to bumper in a very tight space. The organization of this place for the conference center parking was bad and the lady was rude to all of us. Don't host events if you can't keep all your guest that reserved it and paid in full happy, with their experience …

We rented the conference center and the day of reunion there was no place to park and the lady running the place was nothing but rude! We spent a lot of money renting that place. They will never get our business again.

Really enjoy staying here! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and their staff is awesome! Can’t wait for my next trip to Townsend.

We got here later than expected due to husbands work. Was very pleased with the room and temperature of the room. Very clean and comfortable and very good price. Thank you for making everything perfect for me and helping me be comfortable.

If you are going to put envelopes in the rooms begging that guests tip your housekeeping then at least make sure that your rooms are clean. After recovering from the blast of moldy air that greeted us as we entered the room, I did my usual spot tests to check the cleanliness. A good one is to run your finger over the top of the TV, a picture or mirror. On doing this to the TV, I was left with, what looked like, 6 months worth of greasy dust on my finger. The pictures yielded similarly disappointing results. This indicates that the housekeeping just don’t care. My assumption is that this is because they aren’t paid anywhere near a decent wage. Hence the reason why the owners try and tackily ask the guests to make up the difference. The old adage rings true I guess “pay peanuts, get monkeys” Don’t be fooled by the fancy renovated rooms in the promotional material. The room we are staying in looks like it was last remodeled under the Carter administration, which was probably the last time it was adequately cleaned. The refrigerator looks older than I am, I’m 44, and the air conditioner blows with the force of an asthmatic field mouse. The condensation it produced is literally causing the wall behind it to crumble and the paper to come away from the wall. This is probably the reason for the terrible smell and the not so deftly hidden odor eliminators.

The rooms are spacious, the view is spectacular and the front desk folks are the sweetest people you will ever meet.

SMT Riders Group thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Inn. Very nice and friendly owners and staff, great places to eat right across the road and just minutes from Pigeon Forge. Will be staying here again in the future.

What a charming, family owned place! It's "old school" feeling, all the way! Our room was spotless & nicely decorated. We even had a great little balcony with a mountain view! There are gas grills and picnic tables, also a lovely gazebo to sit and take in the view and the fresh mountain air! They also have a really nice pool & deck area with lots of seating and umbrella tables! It's open til 10pm, but since my son was having so much fun on the diving board and swimming, they let him stay in the pool past 10 & said because he was being so quiet, he could swim as late as he wanted! Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Right across the street is a restaurant called The Trailside. Fabulous food! I highly recommend! Such a beautiful area. Cade's Cove is close by and gorgeous. It's quiet here, not all crazy and full of tourist traps. Breakfast was a true continental with pastries, toast/bagels, cold cereal, and hard boiled eggs. Coffee, milk & juice, too. There's lots of cute little places to eat and shop between Pigeon Forge & Townsend. Enjoy!

This is very nice, locally owned place near the Smoky Mountains. It is also a short drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The staff and ownership are awesome. The rooms have been recently updated, and are very nice.

The Highland Manor Inn was charming and clean. The service was pleasant. The layout was very family friendly. We enjoyed it very much.

This place is awesome, the owners are so nice, the rooms are nice and clean, they now have Wi-Fi too, which is nice, but we come out here to disconnect and enjoy the Great Smoky mountain park. We also come in June to attend the Smoky mountain crawl. Always a great stay, with friendly staff, a nice little breakfast and a clean room.

We worked with Highland Manor to book a block of rooms for our wedding. They were great to work with and super helpful with our guests. They were willing to hand out schedule cards to all our wedding guest who chose to stay there. We also used their event space for our brunch after the wedding, which was a huge success.

Good location for access to area without the congestion of Pigeon Forge. Clean rooms and great staff.

Clean for the money. Very upset that we got a call that at 11pm that my daughter was being "to loud" because we were just checking into our room. She was just talking at a normal level. The person who called was very rude about the situation since they knew I was going to be arriving late in the first place.

Great place to stay on the quite side of the Smilies. Near Cades Cove.

A very clean and comfortable (comfortable bed, fridge, microwave oven) motel whose staff is very friendly. The location is a matter of taste, as it is not in the tourist strongholds in the Smokeys, but rather quiet — for us with baby this was very pleasant. The Super BBQ is just opposite…

I have absolutely no complaints the rooms were very clean and very quiet and the beds were comfy I will definitely be staying here again.

This is the only hotel we stay at when we come to pigeon forge. I'm here at least twice a year and each stay is phenomenal. Rooms are always perfectly clean and the staff is super helpful and nice. Continental breakfast is also top notch. Would recommend to anyone.

This is my husband & I's favorite place to stay when we're in the area… clean rooms. Great friendly & personable staff. They always make us feel like we're there only guests & with our favorite room having a nice big fireplace it just makes staying there perfect any time of the year. There's no place else for us. We'll always stay here every time we come through the area.

A true gem hidden in the Smoky Mountains!
Perfect location right in the middle of a bunch of great spots, Tail of the Dragon, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove & more.
Rooms were large, Wi-Fi equipped, beds were comfortable, cold A/C and had a nice pool.
I like the fact that there was a place to park and secure my trailer.
The views were amazing, and the coffee and breakfast was a great treat.
My family and I will be back again next year.

This was a most pleasant place to stay and a wonderful setting for our retreat. The accommodations were excellent. My room was huge, all amenities were very nice. I especially enjoyed my balcony and view.

I have stayed at the Highland Manor for several years. Rooms are clean, quiet, motel staff very nice and breakfast, though light, is adequate. I have recommended to friends and family. Good value for the rate.

Pros: clean, adequate linens, hot water, good bed Cons: no in room coffee, breakfast was a joke, after getting antiquated door open there were three steps to go down with NO handrail, no visible plug ins, and the one by the sink was not IFC. Five star price at 1 1/2 star rating. O yes, TV made in 50s and had reception like they got at that time.

I love Highland Manor. It is in a peaceful and beautiful place. The staff is excellent. We stay there and then drive to other places we want to visit. I highly recommend Highland Manor.

Love this place. It's older but quiet. The people are nice. The price was good. Easy to get to places from here.

This was not only the nicest motel my wife and I have stayed in in several years, it was at an affordable rate too. The room was clean and well-furnished with a couch, easy chairs, fridge and microwave, Wi-Fi and plenty of room. The close access to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park meant there was lots of beautiful places to visit nearby. The motel is family-owned, and there was a special extra warmth to the way the staff treated us. When they found out it was our anniversary, they printed an anniversary card and signed it and left it in our room. I highly recommend this as one of the best places to stay near the Park.

This is an older hotel. Our room was very clean but obviously older. The pool its an outdoor pool and ice and vending are in a separate building. The staff were so nice and helpful. The hotel office seems to close early some nights so call ahead if you plan on arriving late. Good price. Very convinent.

Highland Manor Inn is a lovely place to stay. It is attractively landscaped; we were there as the dogwoods were blooming. Rooms are comfortable and CLEAN. "Quiet time" after 10:00 p. M. Facilitates a good night's sleep. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bagels, muffins, and rolls as well as cereal, juice, coffee and tea were provided for breakfast. Highland Manor Inn was a good choice — — we would stay there again when visiting the Smokies.

No frills room, but clean. We slept well and were not afraid to touch the bedding! Very nice people in office. Very good value. Would stay there again.
