Love the holiday inn club. Had a great experience the past few days. Staff members Michelle, Carrie, Travis, and Marisol worked especially hard to ensure my family had an amazing time and Ray assisted us in upgrading our time share to ensure we have great vacations years to come. Can't wait to come back!

My room is so nice! it's a short getaway but we love it here. I love how friendly the stay is and how nice they are. Marisol was super nice and the gentleman who help us as we walked in was awesome. The view of the mountains is beautiful.

The staff is sooooo amazingly nice and kind, the view is honestly the best, and the rooms are sooo comfy and well protected from bear attacks lol, and the amenties are better than any other place!

Not impressed at all. Hotel was overbooked and they changed our suite to a small room. Come to find out that the beds had urine and blood on the sheets. Called and left a messages for the manager to call me back. Spoke with corporate as well. No one has reached out to offer and resolution.

We came to The Smoky Mountain Resort for some rest and relaxing time that was needed due to this virus. From checking in to getting are room was great. All employees were very helpful with everything there. The only problem was that the entrance to the pool, door was inoperable and the inside pool was down because of a broken pipe. We had a one bedroom suite which was great and just enough for my wife and I. Everything we needed and wanted was in the suite. Only problem was some little ants in the bedroom.

Great accommodations! I'm a guest of Signature Owner's and very impressed with the property. As a Diamond Elite member with another company, it's nice to see a competitor's product. Awesome pool area for kids of all ages! Beds are SUPER comfy with soft and firm pillows of your choosing.

First time to ever staying here over new year 19/20 the room was amazing I loved the separate rooms being that I had my kids with me. The only issue we had was the kids bathroom shower didn’t drain good so we had to use the other shower in the suite, but I didn’t mention it to them. The pool area is amazing kids loved the slides and all the fun. This will be another place I will return to.

Very rude non empathetic employee names Linda, had rooms booked through time share the reservation people messed it up an didn’t book in correct location completely not TN location fault HOWEVER when we were one the way we got a flat so was delayed by rush hour an waiting to get our tire fixed, we arrive around 11/12am 2 toddlers an a birthday girl Linda was smiling being rude because we begged to get accommodate until the matter was resolved in the morning she then advised us it was our fault we should have read the confirmation letter (reservation was booked over the phone twice) an smirking the whole time she had an attitude because we were trying to understand how this could happen meaning while the kids were crying tired an miserable, finally borrowed some money because they said all they could do was give us a discounted room around 250-300 we finally gave I at this point it was 12/12:30 once we got the money they said they just had a policy change that day an that we could no longer get the room an handed the money back, then the cops came we had to take the kids out because at this point they were traumatized an crying I asked why would they call the cops for Linda said because normally when people come in after 12 they are not good people Ben though we got there at 11:30ish (I have a screen shoot of arrival I took about 3 mins before we pulled up) this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, I would say it’s safe to say Holiday Inn does NOT value their

I love my one bedroom villa the floor plan is just perfect everyone is soo accommodating, I love this time we were her.

We stayed in the 4-bedroom Signature Suite. We had 7 people in our party. Each bedroom has its own bathroom! We had no major issues & minor issues were addressed by staff immediately! We attended the free bird show in the lobby provided by the Parrot rescue of Pigeon Forge. ❤️

It's beautiful here! not hard to find and right in downtown Gatlinburg… a lot is accessible in walking distance. And all of the employees of the resort are so polite and friendly! thank you for an amazing experience!

This place is really pretty nice! More than we were expecting and the staff (right down to the maintenance guys) are so nice and continually ask if there’s anything we need or do we need help finding anything.

I love the location everything is walking distance, right behind us is the mountain, the people are humble and kind in this town. We met a very nice person that works there her name is Debbie the Holiday inn timeshare tour guide we loved her!

We came on this trip not knowing what to expect since we've never been to east Tennessee. Let me say I love the location of this resort. Waking up seeing the mountains is amazing. Gatlinburg is a amazing town many things to do with kids. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We enjoyed out 2 bedroom condo. We are a family of 7 and to say that we had room is a bit of a understatement. My kids enjoyed the outside pool as well as the inside pool and the water feature. They enjoyed going down the slides.

Good location. Nice resort. There was a check in issue though due to the rooms not being ready at the 4:00 check in time. A woman named Deb, who was very rude, said that she could not give an answer as to when the rooms would be ready. My son, who is an owner and getting the rooms, was also invited to attend a 60 minute meeting about upgrading. He did attend this meeting and after 2 hours the meeting ended. He said that he did give body signals that the meeting should have ended. The resort overall is very nice, even when grapes are found in the sofa.

We had a wonderful vacation at this resort. We stayed for an entire week. The staff were courteous, friendly, and very attentive to our needs. What a wonderful staff they have! The villa we stayed in was a 2 bedroom and there was a lot of room in the villa. Villa was clean and all of the amenities they promised were there. The location is awesome! Our outside deck faced the road and there were buildings on that side, but that was ok. I cannot wait to come back! Was the best vacation ever!

We're staying in a Signature Suite for a long weekend. The suite is very nice, but the amenities have not been consistent. We don't have enough towels or toiletries in the master bath. The private balconies are very nice. There's lots of space. One of the bathrooms is handicap accessible. The water park is nice, but small.

Amazing hotel. Great if you want to stay all day and do the assortment of activities. The 3 pools are great fun. They also have a parrot that they occasionally interact with. They gave a game room with 2 X-box 1's with Ipads in the corner. Their are 3 pools all have different kinds of fun to have. The staff are nice and there are many areas around the hotel within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Beautiful resort, most of the staff is amazing, but the Vacation Station staff is pushy, especially Teresa! Our suite is nicely decorated, and well equipped but sadly had a bathroom door that would not close and was missing all the towels. The resort was kind and gave us a voucher for dinner for the inconvenience. Then this morning, one of the housekeeping staff walked into our room without knocking, when delivering the missing kitchen towels and pot holders we requested. Overall very nice, but in my opinion they need to work on quality control and be better organized.

We enjoyed our stay. The water park w/ indoor pool was amazing. My husband and I could be floating around in the pool while watching the boys play on the slides! This is very kid friendly, if you don't want to deal with them please stay at the adjoining Holiday Inn which is nice as well. The free breakfast was awesome and had many selections. The staff was friendly and helpful and I have no complaints with the standard two queen room we stayed in.

Very clean. Great location, walking distance to almost everything in town. Nice pool, hot tub and propane fire pit, but they are always crowded. Gym and waterslide are in another building. Breakfast is only for Holiday Inn Express guests. Small indoor poor was out of order. Ask for a room facing the trees and stream!

Of all the HIC resorts we've stayed in, this is by far the most dated, smallest, and lacking in accommodations of them all. The advertised indoor pool was out of order, fitness center wasn't much more than what some people would put in their basement, our balcony was a slender ledge. With all beautiful, mountainous views, most of rooms face the parking lot. Keep your bedroom window curtain closed because people walking to other rooms can look right in at you. However, it's located within walking distance of downtown. Staff is nice and accommodating. If you're into small, dusty, old, rustic, limited luxuries, this place may work for you. I would choose a cabin or chalet over this any day.

If you appreciate nostalgic memorabilia and salt + pepper shakers you may have seen as a kid, you'll like this place. Shakers are displayed very nicely. There are many many to look at and some to purchase. I'd go again and bring my 8 yr old grandaughter. Don't bring an impatient friend or spouse. You will want to take your time.

The villas are beautiful, the amenities are nice and plentiful, and the staff is friendly. Buuuut, they also have a sales center for the timeshares there, so they were constantly running people in and out all day when we were there. The salespeople try to engage everyone on the elevators to vouch for how amazing being an "owner" is, and it's hard to enjoy a peaceful vacation with all these salespeople and tours coming through.

Holiday Inn Club vacations is a great company with excellent properties. The Great Smoky Mountain Resort was beautiful. The rooms made you feel like home. They have everything you could ever need including things you would not even use like an expresso machine. I just couldn't figure that thing out. The property was very clean, very luxurious, and very peaceful. I enjoyed the service they offered of special deliveries. They delivered a birthday cake to my son on his 5th birthday. It was a great blessing from God.

Just got home from my stay. Had a very nice time. Staff was very friendly. I am already a timeshare owner and Gatlinburg was my first stay as an owner. I was able to check in early which was awesome. I was told there had been changes in terms and was encouraged to attend an 'owners' meeting for 1 hour the 1st day. It was actually a sales pitch to upgrade my membership. The meeting ran long but it was side tracked as I was able to move my home base from Vegas to Gatlinburg so …very happy about that. Plus, the resort set me up in the Express the next day for an additional day for the meeting taking so much of my time. And, we received $100 in food certificates as well.
The room was a handicapped accessible room. It was a very nice, clean, 2 br that came with a night time black bear that visited just outside my balcony each night. It was awesome. My only complaints are the resort needs to raise the height of the bathroom sink so a wheelchair can roll under it as I had to use the sink sitting sideways to it (they need to use the sinks they have in their Express hotel units next door) and the beds are a little high but usable at the Resort. The Express hotel next door has platform beds in their handicapped units making them 6-8" to high for a wheelchair user to transfer into them. Luckily, I have encountered this issue in the past and travel with a portable platform that I set up by the bed to lift me to a workable height.

Lovely facilities, and a great location where you can take a walk to the local (rather touristy) attractions. You also get access to their other building facilities, which includes 2 hot tubs and 2 pools. The hotel rooms are all nice, if not rather small. The staff is friendly and nice. It's A holiday inn, not terribly different from a nother, which isn't a bad thing.

Was there for a job application. And I completely loved the hospitality. Everyone was so kind. My experience will last a lifetime of memories.

This Holiday Inn Resort is very nice. The lobby is beautiful! They've done a great job renovating and improving this resort over the past few years keeping the lodge theme. We enjoyed a nice size unit with a kitchen and balcony. The staff was friendly and responsive. Walking distance to town, Anakeesta, Ripley's Aquarium, national park trails, and more! The only reason I couldn't give this place a 5 star is that the room was not furnished with the highest quality I know they can truly provide. Other than that, it is a very beautiful location by the national park with a good number of things to do over a long weekend! I probably wouldn't stay more than 5 days. Very nice place.

When I arrived my name was not on the welcome owners list at the front desk first mistake right there is no owner loyalty. Next arrived to a dirty room with hair in the tub and used dental floss on the floor. Also had the base boards falling off the wall. Also there is a bird nest on the balcony and one of the balcony lights are out. Let the staff know at the owners review the next morning have yet to get a call from any type of management and the problems have not been fixed. Apparently there is not checklist or any type of follow through or accountability when it comes to the villa’s being prepared for the owners. Its hard to believe in a company has your best when you feel like your just a number to them. Some of the staff are friendly other portray an attitude like what do you need now. Also have twins that are 4 they need to invest in the Disney jr channel so the kids have something watch when the weather is bad outside. If you have younger kids would recommend a different holiday inn resort.

The resort was very nice! The outside hot tub was super cool and the fire by the pool area added a homey feel that made you forget you were in the city. We could walk to the restaurants and didn't have to worry about finding parking downtown. The resort had plenty of parking space as well as a parking garage All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful! The only downsides were finding some hair on our "clean" towels. And a strong smell coming from the outside hot tub that burned our eyes when we had the jets turned on. : (

The room itself was beautiful, location good. But the scenery was right on main strip so you could hear cars go by. Room 802. The sales man for promotion was irratated with us for not buying in. The timing was just not there yet.

Employees went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Great kids activities. Rooms were spotless and we'll equipped.

We were property owners before we went and decided to upgrade. Andy, David, and Allen were very helpful and great to work with, making sure we were satisfied and informed. The suite was great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks to all for a great time.

Tried to use my Holiday Inn Club Points to book a room for my wife and I for 4 days in early May. The website says there is nothing available. Meanwhile Trivago says I can book a room here for $164.00 per night. I already paid my money to Holiday Inn Club and I am not allowed to use the points I already paid for but I can pay more to book the same room. As far as I am concerned Holiday Inn Club is ripping me off. They ask me to recommend them to my friends and family. Why would I if I have to pay more to book a room that is available to teh general public and they already have my money.

Smoky Mountain Resort is a beautiful facility. The rooms are large and comfortable, clean and well maintained. The location is within walking distance of many of the local attractions and restraunts. Enjoy your stay!

Beautiful Villa. We only have had a few issues. We checked in and were given our room keys, get to room, it hadn't been cleaned. After a few phone calls, was given a different room, but preferred first one. Front desk clerk willingly allowed us to stay in the second room for our first night, once first room is cleaned, will move us back there for the remainder of our stay. Gorgeous villas, creekside view with relaxing sounds of water rushing over creek beds. Praying the rest of our stay encounters no further issues and enjoying the jacuzzi tub as a couple will end our evening, then a cuddle in front of the fireplace. Hopefully by the end of the stay, I could give this place 5 stars!

Angel and Leslie are wonderful! Don and Wanda made our stay extra special! Our room is beautiful and we aren't ready to go home. We have a great view of the river.

Very nice accommodations and an excellent pool and hot tub area. Slightly off the strip so quieter then some of the other places in Gatlinburg, TN. The mountains are beautiful. There was some construction still going on due to the wild fires that hit the area about a year ago. However that only made it slightly difficult to access the lobby from the elevator but had no other effects on my stay! Staff was also very friendly!

Rooms are nice with a Smoky mountain rustic vibe. The main strip is within walking distance and pigeon forge a small drive away. Great location and great amenities. They have a new indoor water park great for the kids of any age.

Late check-in. And the still tried to sell us a timeshare. Heater won't go above 67. We were told as long as it is at least 50, the room is fine. Room keys wouldn't work. Electric breakers turned off upon arrival. We did have a good time once everything got sorted, so for that, I give a few stars. Just a rough start after a long drive.

We stayed at the resort over Christmas and we had a blast! The rooms are like condos, we were able to cook a full Christmas dinner in the room. The staff was friendly and responded promptly to us needing a screw driver for the new toys the kids received. The rooms and grounds were clean. The kids had a great time at the waterpark and pool. The resort is in a great location, walking distance to the Gatlinburg strip. We did not want to leave. Will definitely be returning!

This resort is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the indoor water park and loved that it was open until 11. We will definitely stay here again!

Buyer Beware! You will more easily exit a marriage than a timeshare! The contract is legally binding forever! It says “forever” in the contract! Maintenance fees go up every year! It’s not worth it. Do not fall for it! Foreclosure is the only way out and that hurts your credit. It has no value. It has no equity after paying it off. It’s garbage! Don’t do it!

I came her to bring my friend since she can’t drive anymore due to brain tumor and eye sight issues. We are both in our 70s and I have been visiting this area since I was a very young child. My hubby and I usually stay in a chalet in Chalet village and love it. Never a problem. This place is the worse I have every bee in. My friend has a time share and I would have expected better treatment, the day before we were to depart after 6 days, it snowed heavily and accumulated. Being from La. I was nervous about trying to drive so we asked if we could stay one more day and pay for it. She even called the club number as well as front desk. They lied and said there was no available 2 bedrooms and after much complaining offered a small one bedroom which meant I would have to try to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed that was even uncomfortable to sit on. No concern about our situation was shown. We even asked for a later check out to give time for snow removal and they thought giving us one hour until 11 am was just wonderful. Not a resort, but a hotel with walkway outside one bedroom. Hated this place and I will never return here or recommend it to anyone. My recommendation would be Chalet Village rentals. Beautiful views and decors. One view we had was walkway and other view was parking lot. Think twice about this place.

Employees working here are so nice, helpful and friendly. The unit was very clean. I can't recommend using the washer/dryer, it's only a 110 volt, it took 4 hours to dry blue jeans! 3 hours to dry my wife's tops and pants. Put the old separate units back in!

Resort and staff are awesome! The bears are beautiful. The shops and attractions are in walking distance. Two pools, two jacuzzis, just great! Rooms have kitchens ranging from 1-3 bedrooms. Wish I could show pictures.

I was just able to spend one of the most wonderful vacations at your resort with my mother and her four sisters. The staff was wonderful, the decorations inside and out we're beautiful, the suite was great, even the other guests were very nice and seemed happy to be there too! I want to thank give a special thank you to Wanda in the Activity Center. I had a great time visiting and crafting with you and Ashley. Thank you. I highly recommend moms and dads that you take your children to the activity center for the activities they offer. You may even want to participate yourself. I'd like to say Merry Christmas to all of you and I hope to see you again someday. Thank you again for a wonderful home away from home. You made me feel like family and I didn't want to leave!

The staff has been great but the cleaning service is a bit lacking. Very friendly and always willing to help. Even remembered my name after the first time. The ash tray wasn't cleaned out when we checked in and there was a half empty water bottle under a table when we got to the room.

Checking in at the front desk they were extremely nice and accommodating. The room itself is gorgeous… Fireplace, nice kitchenette, king size bed. When we entered our room we were overcome by a cigarette smoke smell. There was an ashtray on every balcony so they obviously encourage smoking. The front desk was very helpful and immediately moved us to another room because of the smell. The next day me and my husband were relaxing in our room in the afternoon and another couple walked into our room with their bags, they were given a key to our room. Again the front desk was extremely nice and apologized. The next morning at 8:00 AM the cleaning crew was cleaning the room next to us and slamming doors continuously. At around 930 they started beating on our door and repeatedly ringing the doorbell. We were just trying to relax on our last day there and it was impossible to do. Also the showerhead looks like something that was bald at the dollar tree, very poor water pressure. The room was also dirty and not cleaned very well from the previous guest.

Went for a time share presentation. Everyone was pleasant. Not the best location however. Everything was nice, though.

It's a high pressure time share sales place, but if you understand that, it's ok. I give them a lot of credit for honoring their promise of gifts if I sat through the presentation.

Clean, mostly quiet except for some machine hum sound (maybe an AC) that kept me up for a while. Close to the strip so easy walking distance to everything.

Short walk from all of the action on Parkway (US-441). Room and amenities are well kept making the stay comfortable. Staff is friendly and hospital.

The resort is beautiful but beware of any offers to preview the site to become an owner. They lied to us the entire time. It was 100% Bait and switch. Put us up in a dump if a hotel told us the tour would be two hours. When we got there they would not allow us to leave and receive our deposit back. After 2 hours and 45 minutes and lots of anger and demanding they did let us leave with our deposit back.

Booked a room for two nights (requires deposit for first night at time of booking) The deposit was taken from my debit card. Logged back in to make sure my reservation was still booked and it had been cancelled by "club vacations" due to non payment of deposit even though the deposit was DUE AT BOOKING! Still have the standing charge with my bank and the resort stated they made the refund to my card. So its cancelled because of a "non payment of deposit" but they said they refunded my deposit. Long story short. If you don't want SCAMMED then you might want to reconsider booking at this location.

I love this place. The staff are great, The rooms are so clean and beautiful, the view is absolutely breath taking. We have been here for three days and the whole place is book and we have had the whole water park to ourselves. My girls are having so much fun not waiting for anybody to go down the slides. They have so many different pills on different floors so if you like privacy I've seen those pools empty at different times. I definitely recommend this place! It is cheaper when you are a owner, so I also recommend getting the time share.

Holiday inn timeshare hotel. We stayed one night with ihg points. The room is huge with a full kitchen and balconies that overlook Gatlinburg. The pool next door at Holiday Inn Express is great for kids. It is basically a mini water park. The best part is the hotel is a short walk to downtown.

Great place. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Kitchen and laundry in the suite. The new water feature is awesome for kids — mine loved it. Great staff.

Staying in a signature suite. Love the rooms and the kitchen. I would live here if I could. They're that nice. Just amazing. Pool is nice along with the signature indoor water feature. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room is on the backside, 4th floor. We are sort of looking at a parking lot. But it's better than looking at the street. I just wish they would repair their dumpsters. As much as I enjoy seeing the black bears everyday, it's not good for them.

Clean rooms, great location, staff friendly, self parking. Took awhile to figure out how to access levels once we parked. Was told to use level one, but it was actually level 2. The activies costed a fee and most were on your own.

It is very nice but I would like it more if it had more amenities. Other resorts I have stayed at have had putt putt golf, movie theaters, and much better arcades. As far as the amenities go this resort this place was not good.

This is our last night here. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We have a 2 bedroom it is clean and spacious. The front desk staff is very nice and you never pass by without a hello and have a nice day. They gave us information on the beautiful trails and sites to. It is in walking distance to downtown.
When we checked in to our room the toilet seat was broken in the bathroom. We told them and within minutes Roy from maintenance was here to fix it. Later that night we noticed the ice maker was not working. Again Roy came to the rescue to fix it. The next day we went to use the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom and the cold water handle was not functioning correctly. We ran into Roy getting out of the elevator. By the time we got back it was fixed. I have to give absolute praise abd kudos to Roy, best maintenance man ever! As my son said, "My man Roy rocks. " Thanks for taking care of everything immediately.
To the people complaining about room issues, report it right away. I'm assuming that people who had the room previously never reported it. If you don't report it, don't complain about it.
We are owners at Orange Lake Orlando and will definately be back here. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Overall I give the resort a 5 star… took one star off due to small issues with the room. The fridge froze all of our food (a lot of fresh fruit & veges that don't thaw well) ; the clothes washer is so loud I thought there would be a noise complaint; the beautiful master bed/bath has no place to hang towels to dry — had to hang them over the doors; there is black mold in the shower stall; there is no guide for TV to tell you what is actually on, you have to just surf channels till you find something that looks good. The bed was extremely comfortable, overall very spacious apartment. The staff is all 5 star (although wasn't thrilled that they have people who don't speak English working in housekeeping), the pool is great, the location is excellent. Love the balconey (we were lucky enough to look out onto the mountains).

Clean room, awesome amenities, walking distance to many restaurants, stores, activities. Loved that our rooms had a balcony. Rooms also had a full kitchen. Master room had a hot tub! We are staying through Friday, this has been a lovely time to relax!

We really enjoy this location. From check in to check out we were very impressed with the property, the amenities, and the staff. The lobby is very nice. It's warm and inviting, very cozy. Our room was very nice and large. The bedroom opened up into the entryway as well as the bathroom. There was a nice living area with a fireplace. There was also a nice size kitchen. If you are staying several nights there is plenty of room to cook and entertain in this area. My husband enjoyed the hot tub on a cold snowy night. There is now a Holiday Inn Express attached onto the building. The waterpark is accessible for guests staying at Club Vacations. The water park is amazing! The slides and water features are excellent and there is something for every age, even adults. The pool area near the water park is small, but long enough to get some laps in or to enjoy while the kids are sliding. We definitely recommend the Club Vacations Resort and look forward to staying there again.

The staff was friendly and the room was nice. Located less than 1/2 a mile from the strip, so everything was easily within walking distance. However, we were tricked into attending a sales pitch about time shares, that was supposed to take "less than an hour", but took 4 and wasted the prime hours of our day. Then, we find out that nearly everyone else that was there was being put up in the hotel for 3 nights free of charge. WTF? So, I paid $500, while they got a free trip. Hotel management was sympathetic, but unwilling to make the situation right. Would have been a 5 ☆ review, if I didn't leave feeling like we got screwed.

Scammers! Stay away from this company when it comes to timeshare! They told us we were supposed to stay in resort… Ohhhhhh nooo theyy wanted to put us in dump trashy hotel! They were overly pushy, made us super uncomfortable! Never never never purchase any ihg branded!

Great quiet and relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious. I really loved that the kitchen is separate from the bedrooms as I like to wake early and have an espresso (I pack my nespresso which can be noisy). Nice view of the mountains. There is construction nearby so sitting outside is not as relaxing, but there was no disturbance to the stay. I used the exercise room daily. It's a very short walk to the main street.

Have stayed there for a week. Beautiful view of downtown gatlinburg, staff was friendly. Room was really nice had a 2 bdroom on top floor with a great view. Only draw back seems they are overbooking, not always easy to get a room for the time u want.

Rated highly because it's a great place, very large accommodations, super location, everything you could ask for. Disappointment, I am a member (several $$$$$) and could not get a reservation. It appears that the membership is way over sold, there are not enough rooms for members.

Such a nice hotel! Staff was super nice, especially Stephanie who was there to help us. I can't wait to come back and stay here! Construction going on didn't bother us at all, you couldn't hear it from the room. Also great walking distance to everything. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful spacious 2 bedroom units at reasonable prices including a full kitchen and great views. The bedrooms are nicely separated by the living room/dinning room.

My family and I were invited to this property on a "tour" by IHG. I was under the impression we would be staying at the resort during the three days we were to be touring the property, however this was not the case. We were put in a Holiday Inn Express that seemed very rundown. Ive been to many IHG properties and this one was very poor in comparison to most. That aside, we paid in advance for the tour not knowing that we would be charged tax upon check in for the full rate of our stay at the hotel. The tax was well more than what the entire stay was worth. We were not greeted as platinum members although thats never a big deal to even mention. The tour was very pushy. I would place it on a scale of 1 to used car salesman. This tour being the latter. I did not like the property. It seemed so basic for a resort. The property was cramped and had few ammenities. I live in the local area so it was not inconvenient to go to. However I would never travel to this resort. It would not be worth the mileage. As per the "gifts" i. E. The free nights stay at a Holiday Inn; they give you a coupon that you have to send to Orange Lake Resort in Fl with a copy of your folio. They do not honor the full rate of the stay. They do not cover the tax either. I was very displeased by these tactics and will no longer be staying at Holiday Inn hotels. Ive been a platinum member for over 8 years. I have their Chase IHG rewards card. All of which I will be leaving behind.

We had a great stay in a one bedroom suite overlooking downtown Gaitlinburg. The staff is really friendly and the facility is very clean and up-to-date. There is some construction going on but it did not interrupt our stay. The entire property is decked out for Christmas with lights on the balconies and trees in the courtyard. This property is a short walk to the best restaurants and activities in town. This is part of the vacation club and they will probably encourage you to attend a meeting to learn more about their program when you get the parking pass. We didn't feel any pressure and we're not asked again. This was a quiet stay and we will stay here again!

We had wonderful time! Fantastic room very clean no complaints. Staff at front desk very friendly and cooperative. Would definitely stay again!
