We stayed 2 days here during Christmas we walked to everything we did in Gatlinburg. We loved everything about the Lodge the employees were always super friendly & helpful! I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect! We loved everything about this place! Everyone was very pleasant and sweet and went above and beyond! We will definitely be back! Thank You Bearskin Lodge for everything! Perfect location, perfect room and perfect view with private balcony on the beautiful creek! On a scale of 1 to 10…. I give it a 20😀

We love staying at the Bearskin Lodge. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the bathroom floors aren't clean and the cleaning staff need to bleach the shower every now & then. I always take spray bleach, no matter where I stay.

Large clean rooms, balcony overlooking the river, close proximity to Smokey Mountain National Park, very friendly staff, we enjoyed the pool and lazy river (although smaller than it looked in photos) and Gatlinburg is an awesome little town.

We were here from March 22-25 and had the most wonderful time. Very clean (to me that’s super important). The staff were very friendly and had spacious rooms. The only downfall is that the walls are too thin.

Our family has been blessed to have had many opportunities to stay here while on vacation or just passing thru. The location, accommodations, and creek with a view. Close to everything has been the best part.

Very clean and convenient. Love the lazy river, small but relaxing.

The staff was helpful and pleasant for the most part. Location of hotel great, easy parking, huge rooms. The air conditioning does not have an air diverter so you feel have cold air on the face all night long. It was disappointing that I was charged full rate when the following services were not available — breakfast, room cleaning daily, smart TVs not connected, towel process. They posted special rates but I booked months before the pandemic and they did not adjust my rate at all for reduced services. Idiots in the room next to us let phone alarm go off for an hour at 4.47 am, called from desk and they did nothing to resolve the issue, so we had to knock on door to get them to wake up and turn off alarm after waking everyone else up, the continued to go in and out of room slamming the door. Would stay there again when not in pandemic.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Friendly staff, clean, large rooms. Easy access to the strip, and parking was easy in their lot.

The staff is amazing from the gm to the front desk staff! We had some confusion at check in, Meg was amazing, thoughtful, kind and caring!

This trip was very last minute because our original plan didn't go as planned so then we decided to go to Gatlinburg Tennessee. And here was our experience there it was our first time at this hotel and I really recommend it. The staff there were really nice and very helpful if you needed anything or places to go see they were there to help you. There Breakfast was really good there is alot of great choices of food you can choose. Rooms were really clean, beds were very comfy. And In the lobby they have free coffee or hot chocolate with cookies that were very yummy. Overall the place was really clean with awesome views of the river outback in your room. You can just sit on your back porch and drink your coffee and watch the ober Gatlinburg tram go by every few minutes. And one more thing is that the other guest that were staying there were very welcoming to you. But I must recommend and I'll be back soon. :)

We have stayed here several times and have always had the BEST service and cleanest room. It is our FIRST choice when visiting the Smokies.

We stayed there 2 different trips last year. Nice rooms we always get a room with a River view. Staff is very Friendly and helpful. Going back again this year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bearskin Lodge! It’s a very quiet hotel, close to everything. Our suite was huge, we loved the fireplace in the room and the balcony! You definitely get your money’s worth! We will definitely stay here again if in Gatlinburg!

Beautiful rooms & customer service. The afternoon cookies with hot apple cider, coffee, hot chocolate is a nice touch. Enjoyed it while sitting around the fire outside.

Took the wife up to the Smokies for some R&R. We loved Bearskin Lodge. Great rooms and our balcony overlooked the stream. Excellent staff and within 2 miles of the park entrance. Going to return soon.

Nice friendly staff and the rooms were amazing would highly recommend this place if going to Gatlinburg close to all main attractions and shopping very relaxing with the stream in back nice fire pits by the pool A+

Bearskin Lodge is Highly Recommended by my wife and I. We both have back issues and the beds are wonderful. They are comfortable, back pain melts away, and you sleep like a baby. The staff is kind and wonderful. The balconies are great on the river. The sounds of the river is so pleasant. We love the cabin feel in the room. Breakfast is not a real breakfast, just some cereal, coffee, milk, and fruit. We made it fine though. Haha. Dad’s General Store and Cici’s is located across the street. Parking is great too. We highly recommend. Prices are very reasonable too!

My Aunt surprised my wife and I with a night here, and it was absolutely fantastic. We ate at The Peddler next door, and it was definitely one of the best NY strips I've ever had. Our room was spotless. The balcony overlooking the river was an excellent way to the enjoy evening. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we decided to stay a second night. Even ran into an actual bear in the parking lot walking back to our room.

Great location away from the crowds but, within walking distance of everything on the main street. Recently renovated, they were changing out all the mini fridges and adding microwaves in each room. Breakfast each morning was good though the room is a little small but, since we had a nice table and chairs both in the room and on the balcony it was no big deal. Every staff member we came in contact with was kind and helpful when we needed them to be. We had a great time and would totally stay there again.

Originally I had got a standard 2 bedroom. But when we got there, the guy in the front was so nice he offered at no charge an upgraded room to the two queen stream view (he let us choose between stream or city view). And it was also perfect because its right next to the peddler steakhouse. I will be staying here again next time I come to visit!

We were planning on spending only one night, but we were enjoying it so much, we decided to stay another night. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely go back to The Bearskin Lodge. Please send us another 1/2 price promo. Thanks, The Holmes.

We had rooms 515 and 516. The rooms were very nice. Well cleaned. The balcony was awesome! The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice. We enjoyed the pool and lazy river as well.

We stayed here last night. I have to say this is the nicest hotel on the strip. It is a little smaller than it appears online, and the lazy river and pool are much smaller than the photos show as well. The hotel is pretty clean, and everyone is very pleasant. Loved having a fireplace in the room, and a river view balcony. Just know that the river flows between 2 hotels, so our direct view from our balcony was another, not appealing to the eyes hotel. It is within walking distance of a ton of stuff. We would definitely book again.

Quiet easy access location. Room was very large and clean. I wanted to take home the love seat in room. It was extremely comfortable and tucked into a little nook with perfect lighting for reading. Gas fireplace was pretty. Balcony was over the river so we had nice tranquil moments. Bed was comfortable with lots of nice pillows. Microwave and fridge were handy. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly. Only negative is size of pool is very small.

Probably one of my favorite hotels in Gatlinburg. Rooms are always clean and nice. Their continental breakfast is the best around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bearskin Lodge on the River and will definitely be back! From the very comfortable, recently renovated room to the great daily breakfasts and the welcoming, friendliness of the entire staff, everything and everyone was wonderful! A special compliment to Stephanie at the front desk — she went out of her way to be sure we had everything we needed, as well as providing friendly conversation and great info about the area each time we saw her coming or going!

This is a great place in a great location. It is right on the river and one block off main drag. Very close to park entrance. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony or just keeping glass door open to hear the river flow. Very quiet place. Room had 2 queen beds, small fridge, dresser, table/chairs for 2 and small love seat with great lighting. Wifi was fast. Gas fireplace with glass doors. Didn't use fitness room. Pools were not open yet but had 2 fire pits lit each night. Open or covered parking. Will stay here again.

Another Great Stay! We have stayed at The Bearskin Lodge several times over the years. We always go back because we know our room will be clean and that is huge for us. David, who often answers the phone, is always so kind and helpful when my Husband calls. The Location and parking are great. The Breakfast is always good and well stocked. The rooms are always clean, smell nice (neutral) and are spacious. We like the fireplace and balcony. We have referred family to stay here as well and they have loved it also.

We stayed her last night. We had originally booked at a different hotel and had issues there. We showed up with no reservations. They had one room left with a king bed and Jacuzzi. They gave us a key and let us go see the room before we even checked in. The room is very large. The bed was a memory foam bed. The bathroom is large with a huge tub. There were signs up about construction but we never heard anything. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us coupons for dinner and for the aquarium. Lots of things with in walking distance also. Cookies and coffes in the lobby and a breakfast in the morning.

I have had my high school marching band up here for the Christmas Parade for three nights. This hotel staff bent over backwards to ensure that everything on their end went off without a hitch. They offered discount coupons to our entire group for various establishments in town. The staff is awesome and this hotel is one of the best in Gatlinburg. I can HIGHLY recommend Bearskin Lodge to anyone!

We stayed here a couple of years ago and things were good. This year when we first get in the room our toilet would not flush correctly, we called the front desk and was told by the young lady that she is the only one on duty and she could give us a plunger that we would have to come get it. It would be in a bag by the front desk. Then the tub has a dip in the center where it holds water so it does not drain correctly either. I noticed that the restroom floors don't get mopped, our feets would be black after waking in there, I took a wash cloth and wipe over a portion of the floor and it as nasty. Last the employees who work in the breakfast room is very rude my husband asked a lady setting in small room with door open if there was regular coffee, she presided to come out and pointed at the coffee pot and speak loudly regular, decade and turns walks off and closes the door behind her bumbling under her breath. The next morning another worker goes behind some childern and says childern are so messy while parent is standing there. I understand childern are messy but you chose to work there, if you don't like it leave. When my grandson would get his food I always made sure I would clean what ever mess he made, but when you work the breakfast room you have to expect messes. This is the last time we stay there.
