We had our wedding here November 16th 2023. We’re from Florida and had family members up for the occasion. Some stayed in the lodge, the cabins and the fireplace suites. A few of each option!
My honest review,
Let me start by saying when we came for a tour of the venue, a woman named Deb worked there. She sold us on having our small wedding there…along with the beautiful views. We would check in with her randomly throughout the year but just weeks before the wedding, she was no longer affiliated with the resort. We were a bit devastated, we adored her! the new person we that handled everything was just as helpful and willing to do whatever was needed though! we loved all the staff! they really went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs/wants! even the maintenance staff was amazing to us and so helpful!
The entire resort seems to be a bit of an older establishment, but we fell in love. NOTHING is perfect so all the little things were no big deal to us. Like the waterfall not working and other things some of the other reviews talk about. The rooms were a little dated but NOT gross or uncomfortable. The game room was great for the older kids and adults, even plenty of room for our toddler to run around a little. We didn’t really need anything from the on site restaurant as we brought all of our stuff. We did use their bartender and he made our night! best bartender ever! haha!
Please remember, it’s not a Hilton or a super kid friendly resort.
