This is a budget friendly, professtional, well run establishment. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is my second stay here from New Jersey in 6 weeks due to loss in the family. The staff were magnificent. Thanks to every staff members they helped make a trying time much easier. Breakfast was good to. Lots of stores, services and goods close by.

Staff here is awesome. Friendly and helpful One of the better breakfasts I've had and have stayed in many places. Kept it fresh with many choices. The person taking care of the breakfast kept it clean and kept items available Nice pool area, clothes was room.

After a fourteen hour day, unloaded my luggage and was prepared to settle into bed when I noticed what appeared to be s large urine stain on the comforter. Absolutely disgusted! I called the front desk and was told "I could check out! " My other option was to pack everything and change rooms, which is what I chose it do. The property is not representative of the photos on their web site. This property is, as they say, "long in the tooth! " It needs to be renovated. Seriously, you are better off sleeping in your car!

Do not stay here I was un able to check in because they want the $50 Charge on my debit card I told them I did not have the funds and I asked her if we could do a third-party authorization so my corporate could pay for it they told me no I asked them if they call the manager they said no. So un professional when I told them that we be calling Expedia and writing this review on Google she said that she was planning on calling het manager right then and there because of what I was doing oh so you’re willing to call your boss when you realize you screwed up but not when the customer ask to speak to your boss. Like I said super unprofessional also check out the other reviews.

Lady at front desk was very rude. Must have been new or something. She charged my work credit card instead of charging my corporate lodging card. No customer service skills at all. Manager had to come over and explain to her multiple times how to enter in information correctly so that I wouldn’t get overcharged on my credit card. Manager was polite and and gave me a king size bed. Room was decent however this will not be where I stay next time i’m in the area. On top of that just when I thought it couldnt get worse it did! I wake up to a bed bug sitting on my bed crawling toward me! dont stay here. Its not worth the time. Bed bugs! spone with marquetta at the front desk who was extremley helpful. Smh I will not be back no way!

This hotel went above my expectation… amazing customer service, clean and super nice room, and really great breakfast. I will stay there from now on if rooms are available.

Value, I do a lot of business travel and I cannot remember a time where I received such good service from the staff. Even in high-end hotels. I was skeptical at first but staying here over a week I definitely see why they have so many good reviews for such a affordable hotel. April went out of her way to help me and the lady who runs the breakfast very nice, very professional. Close to everything. Oh I almost forgot, maintenance staff recommending restaurants in the area. Too funny thanks for the suggestions for dinner. I have a new rule always take dinner suggestions from a big man.

I haven't stayed here so I can't speak for how nice the staff is, room cleanliness, etc. But I doubt I ever will stay. Looking at online booking it seems as though they are "thanking the military" with a discount $30 ABOVE the standard room rate. I don't care if a place doesn't honor a discount but penalizing people for dedicated service to protecting their country? Please Red Lion Inn & Suites, if this is how you do it, never thank me for anything. Ever.

On the optimistic side. Prices are low compared to even the motels around the area. Staff who are not in upper management are very kind and attentive. And the location is nice and central, next to the Cross Creek Mall, a movie theatre, tons of restaurants, close to the airport, and close to Fort Bragg. On all other notes, my one night here was a motel scary movie. And I don't like scary movies at all, especially when it's unexpected. I had read such amazing reviews for this place on Trip Advisor and such saying it was clean, quiet, great rooms for the price, and so on. While their may be a couple good rooms on the side that doesn't face the main road and are not on the ground floor, I did not get one of those. I arrived after a long day of flying with a massive migraine coming on wanting nothing more than to shower in a clean shower and have a nice restful night of sleep. Checking in was easy! When I got to my bottom floor room facing the main road, a pitbull roamed out of the room next to me and a lady came out yelling at him to come back in while smoking. Nice. I turned on the lights inside and they were super dim with freezing cold air blowing out of the massive air vents on the floor. It was Winter and very breezy outside already so I went to adjust the heat and even though the thermometer said it was going up to 75 the vents blew out cold air all night.

Great place to stay! Booked on Expedia and happy I did. Very close to Ft Bragg, easy access to highways and other areas. Traffic was easy to negotiate here. Red Lion has remodeled, room is clean, excellent condition, staff is SUPER FRIENDLY, say hello to Montrell (Front Desk) and Cynthia (breakfast)! Happy staff, beautiful lobby, business center, workout room and pool facilities! Everything at this location is a big 5 star hit!

Was unexpectedly stranded overnight. We were allowed to check in early! What a relief! We were walking around Fayetteville trying to decide where to stay. Glad we picked Red Lion.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice soaps and other amenities. Complimentary breakfast.

Me and my daughters got a room for the weekend and all services was excellent. The room was nice and clean and hotel employees were very friendly. The only issue we had was the staff was very dishonest. My daughter was unaware she left her tennis shoes in the room and we contacting the hotel the next day in which they stated “the executive housekeeping said there were no shoes found. My daughter wore those shoes for the weekend stay at the hotel. It’s very sad that you can’t trust having your things in a place you would think be safe and secure. These shoes were very expensive and i’m very disappointed in the staff. Needless to say me and my girls will not be doing business with this company. Not trustworthy at all!

I have never had a bad experience at this hotel. Nice, clean, comfortable beds, and friendly staff.

The motel like layout of this hotel is disappointing considering it carries the Marriott name. Upon opening our room fridge water came gushing out on to the floor so we assumed it wasn't a good idea to even use it. Rooms are a little outdated and the price was on the high end of a category 1 hotel. We will try our very best to not stay here again.

The staff is friendly, they provide dinner and breakfast, and the place is clean enough, but this Fairfield Inn is rough and definitely not your typical Marriott quality. Most of the rooms are outdoor, motel style access. It faces an intersection on a major road, which is very loud. The rooms are SUPER tiny and show their age: patches all over the ceilings and walls, carpet stains, very drafty (could feel cold air and smell my neighbors smoking on the breezeway). I definitely expected better for over a hundred bucks in a small town. If the rate was $30+ lower, I wouldn’t be as disappointed. The value for what I paid is what left a bad impression. I would only stay again for a much lower rate and a 3rd floor room on the back side of the building.

This is a very tired and worn-out hotel. Marriott classifies it as a category 1 hotel (least expensive) and I can see why. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was nothing short of amazing! Breakfast was delicious. The hospitality warm warming on many levels. This is a great place to stay. They deserve 100 stars!

If all you want to do is have a warm bed to sleep in and a shower this is the place. The breckfast was decent. Sausage, eggs, potatoes, and waffles actually taste as if someone put some effort into it. My room didnt have a closet and the bathroom was small. For the price I can't complain. Great location to have access to a Starbucks and the mall.

Starting with the good; the staff at this Fairfield Inn were all courteous and helpful. Very nice people. But… this was an old property, and while it was basically clean, the age and wear show. It was not at all what I expected from a Fairfield, and I've stayed in several. The really bad; one entire side of the building is facing, and close to, a very busy road. To make matters worse, there's a traffic light there, so a guest in one of those rooms hears constant and loud acceleration from trucks, motorcycles and morons with offensively loud cars. My stay was a Friday night and this continued until about 3:00am. I had to sleep on the bathroom floor with the door closed to escape most of the intrusive sound. I do not recommend this facility, but if you do stay there, get a room on the side that is not facing the road.

The hotel appeared to be a converted hotel from a lower quality chain. Overall appearance was nice, but less than a typical Fairfield Inn. Matress needed to be replaced, was uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.

Free breakfast and dinner. Rooms are just okay and the layout is a bit weird with the bottom two floors being outdoor entry and the top floor indoor.

Great place to spend the night to break up our long drive from Florida. Check-in and check-out process were quick and easy. We asked for room near the elevator, as we hate those long walks down the never-ending hallways. We stayed in room 326. It was the room that was closest to the elevator, which was great, but it was also next to the door that lead outside (to the elevator, which was outside). We could hear that door open and close once in a while when we were awake, but it wasn't loud enough to wake us up. Room was clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly. We chose this Fairfield because it only required a category 1 reward certificate, probably because it is about 10 min off I-95. The Fairfield locations closer to the highway required a category 3 certificate, which is twice the number of reward points. It was definitely worth the extra drive to save half the points.

I highly recommend this hotel for your stay. The staff was very professional and so incredibly friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was the best I've ever had; they had a nice variety of items to choose from and the choices of beverages was large. They kept the counters clean and the tables clean to keep guests moving right along. I was 100% pleased with every aspect of my stay and if in the area again, I will most definitely choose this location. Keep up the good work and thank you for making my family comfortable and well nourished.

Bathroom are small… room small… air conditioner smelt like vinegar… breakfast was good… bed are good… room wasn't clean the way it should… beer caps under bed.

Excellent customer service and everyone work here they are very friendly and kinds. Room gets clean daily and breakfast is amazing so over all I enjoyed my short stay here. Thank you for the nice management.

The room was nice however the room with the door facing the road have alot of road noise inside the room. I heard cars driving by at all hours of the night.

Clean and relatively quiet. Recommend enclosing all of the rooms such that you avoid the "cheap motel" vibe. Satisfied overall.

The stay was Comfortable here I loved it, bed was good breakfast was good and the staff was super nice and welcome.

The staff had been very polite. Some issues with the rooms, but the staff was right on it. The breakfast is pretty good, too!

Our 5 day stay was wonderful. Our room was clean and conffie. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I was supplied with my chocolate milk every night. Your washer and dryer had my 2 loads clean, dry and done in a snap, and you carry Bounce dryer sheets! And breakfast was delightful, I could munch Harvey or have a nice light meal of fruit or yogurt. Great TV show choices And our evening swims were burr just enough to chill the days heat off. It was just an all around GREAT stay and when we return will stay Here again. No hot water 3 of 5 mornings I was there. Free breakfast was so overcooked I broke my plastic silverware trying to eat it. I had to remove my own smoke detector battery (it went dead-chirping madly) and three days later their maintenance folks still had not replaced it. Lastly, but somewhat minor, several cable channels did not work on my floor, but worked fine on the other floors. Reported twice and never resolved — vague promise of "cable company is due any minute".

Exterior room facing a busy road. Street noise was loud and so was the guy upstairs walking around. Bed was comfortable and clean, but room was cramped an essentials only.

One of ny friends is staying in this hotel due to an emergent situation in which he lost EVERYTHING he owned. I try to get him out of the hotel so that he is able to enjoy himself and think of other things other than the headline making catastrophe that occurred. When I'd called in the past, a friendly representative would pick up and transfer my call to the appropriate room. However a gentleman who stated his name was Quentin chose to do the exact opposite. Initially, the first time, he answered my call and transfered it to the room. However, when I tried calling back, he never answered. The phone would continuously ring even if I used a different number to call from (initially I thought something was wrong with my phone). Since my friend lost everything, this is his only means of contact and it should not be that difficult to answer and transfer a call. I understand that people get busy. I understand that Quentin may have had other things going on. However, what I don't understand is someone not answering any incoming calls for hours. I don't want to just pop up on my friend and disrespect his privacy and/or personal business which is why I tried calling. I think it is ridiculous that a place that makes money booking rooms, assisting guests, and fielding customer contact via telephone has someone working there that can't assist in that task.

The initial check is process went pretty smooth. The front desk girl tried to put us as close to the elevator as she could on our request. There was two of us with 5 seabags a piece. The rooms are very basic rooms, nothing special. Small microwave, big mini fridge, Wi-Fi, cable tv. The bathroom area is smaller than expected. The turn offs are: Only two guest washers and dryers on site. (Only one was working during my stay) The guest printer was not working. They have rat traps set up everywhere outside. Why? BECAUSE RATS ARE RUNNING AROUND THE HOTEL! The free breakfast isn't even worth the free pricetag. I'd rather pay money and go out for breakfast. The goods: Clean room. Cool 5pm customer appreciation with snacks. (usually some sort of bbq) If you plan on staying 2+ nights, I would continue to shop around.

While not a new place by any means, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and neat, and the internet connection was surprisingly good. I can understand some of the derogatory comments, but don't believe it deserves some of the disparaging comments about its cleanliness. I'll try to remember and update this rating at the end of my stay.

Very friendly staff, nice TV's, clean and comfortable room. Hotel layout is different but interesting.
