Great room. Awesome service. Very clean. Much more than I expected having booked online & never stayed before. Will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Palm Suites and we would stay here again! Cute rooms, great staff and good price! Each room has a kitchenette and couch as well as bed. Palm Suites is in a great location, close to the beach and great food options!

We had a great stay. The children loved the pool and the view from the Gazebo. The evening staff was energetic and even baked wonderful cookies! Hope to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean place and the staff was so pleasant, especially Michelle. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. She makes you feel so welcome.

This was our second year at Palm Suites. We love it there, but I was very disappointed that the gas grill has been taken out. The charcoal one is flimsy and wouldn't stay lit. Ended up ruining $30 worth of meat and had to order pizza instead. Please put the gas grill back on the pier!

What a wonderful gem. Close to beach and local restaurants. Very clean and quite. We can’t wait to come back. The check in process was speedy and efficient. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool area was very clean and there were enough chairs and tables to enjoy a nice cold drink. Highly recommend.

My sister Sharon and I stayed on September 25 & 26 in room 102 it was updated and very clean. Only one issue, the seal on one of the sliders needs to be replaced. Staff was very friendly and so was the head of the maintenance. I told him I loved the color of the walls and he got the color for me. Thank you, Holly!

The Staff was wonderful, Water Pressure and Temperature was great, Towels refreshing and clean, however room had a bad odor, was it from the Orkin Man or Mold, for the floor throughout was releasing and the bathroom tub, sink and sink cabinet had mildew and mold build up.

Took the family and we had a great time! Beach is very close, shops, restaurants and so on! I will be back with family & friends. Very relaxing and ppl are very nice.

Very cozy. Great views. Great location to many places you may need to go to. Love the balcony and love seeing the pool right outside room and the ocean behind it.

Second time staying here in the past two years and I have really enjoyed it, nice suites not everything is perfect but it’s really okay. Convenient location, nice pool area, picnic area and boat slips. Friendly staff.

We were excited to come down and spend Labor Day weekend here in Atlantic beach. This hotel looked pretty good online and was 1 of 2 that had rooms left when we booked ours. Unfortunately this location is NOT where you want to come stay. The parking is absolutely atrocious and non enforced. Twice we've come back to the hotel and had to park on top of a curb or in an unmarked spot because of all the people parking here that are not staying at the hotel. If that wasn't bothersome enough, the first night we were here we had roaches crawling on the walls of the hotel room. NOT WORTH THE MONEY find another place to stay. EDIT: Also near zero water pressure, holes in the wall all over in the bathroom (creepy). We needed a place to stay on short notice and this is what we ended up with. It's a dump wrapped in nice location paper.

The location is great but our room was old, out of date and not really clean. Expensive for what we got. Not impressed. The bathroom was not that clean. The patio door does not have a lock on the first floor. Several of the blinds were broken. The closet had a curtain on it, not a door like in another room we saw. We were supposed to have a room with queen bunk beds but got a room with 2 full size beds and a sleeper sofa without sheets. In general, we would have been better off in a cheap motel. Would not recommend or stay here again.

We had came out for my girlfriend's birthday celebration and since before we even got out here the service was excellent! I called a few days prior and got ahold of Mike who had absolutely no problem accommodating our sound side view request and answering any of my questions. Once we got there we were actually greeted by Mike! Who again had absolutely no problem answering all of our touristy questions! Aside from the excellent service, the room was amazing! The view was gorgeous, the room was super clean and to top it off had gas grills for everyone outside?!?! We will be coming back! Special thanks to MIKE!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was very convenient, the boat slips were a huge plus, the grounds well kept, the pool area very nice, the covered picnic tables and grills were a great amenity.

My only complaint was housekeeping… I have long hair and not to be too detailed but it does fallout quite a bit when shampooing, it would be all over the shower. So it was very obvious that the shower was never cleaned our entire visit. The bed was made, trash removed, the floors swept, towels replenished, but again nothing in bathroom cleaned… I did notice at one point leaving my room and looking at the room directly across with a housekeeper in it she was sitting on the bed doing something on her phone…

My family and I arrived at 4:30 am from a 5 hour drive and we were ready to get a few hours of sleep. The lady at front desk was great, and full of energy! Our room was clean, inviting, and relaxing! The palm suite was very clean, and by just walking in the door we felt at home! We will return for our next vacation! Thanks for a great stay!

I got a lovely second floor room over looking a beautiful marshy area. During high tide the marsh area fills and large and small creatures come out. The rooms are very clean, inviting, and make you want to spend all day inside looking at the water. If a 50% score is average, I definitely think this hotel is 90%+.

No Thrills. 3.8 overall. Pros: The staff are courteous and helpful. Convenient location and if the hotel is fully booked it may be hard to find a place to park. The bed was pretty comfortable. Cons: Water pressure, musty smells, mold around the air conditioner and doesn’t keep the temperature, bathroom needs to be updated badly — wallpaper peeling, and toilet needs updating. People allow the door slam — maybe installing soft closing doors. No elevator. When I booked this I was under the impression that this had a full kitchen and it does not — no oven.

We stayed June 17-20 and used our two free nights won through the contest. The room was spacious, the view is breathtaking out back (especially the sunset), the housekeeping staff were very accommodating, the beds were comfortable. There are towels provided at pool side which I loved. The property is very well maintained. On check-in the desk clerk seemed to be learning so was not as welcoming but I can understand. Keep working on hospitality. The bed turned out not to be a King but was still enough for us. My kids really wished that awesome lit up pool was open longer.
Overall, had a wonderful time.

Each suite is individual own, so they're all unique. Comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean rooms. Wonderful service. The lady a the desk allowed us to check in 3 hours early and she was absolutely amazing and so nice and accommodating. Rooms give you a beach home feeling, loved the separate living room area and kitchen section. Will definitely be back!

We went this past weekend, June 8th through 10th. We had an amazing time and was a great get away. The scenery was beautiful on the sound. The staff was polite and helpful! We would reccomend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay at a reasonable price! The rooms were excellent, and decorated beachy and fun. It was our home away from home for the weekend. The pool was wonderful and beautifully lit up at night time! We will definitely use palm suites again@

We stayed at Palm Suites from May 24-May 28th 2018 and it was one of the worst hotel experiences ever experienced. Our room was musty and damp, the furniture (such as the couch) was so dirty with stains we had to put towels down before we sat on it, our shower and water pressure either didn't work during our stay or there was a water trickle, there was water maintenance problem the entire time we stayed and people had to go outside to the pool shower to bathe, the hotel lobby leaked water, very little to no parking spots, and the staff we tried to talk to about these problems had no idea what was going on as they told us they had only been on the job for two weeks. On top of that, our boat slip that was guaranteed to us two weeks before was suddenly taken away from us the day of while already out on the boat. Reasoning that they provided was that they "overbooked. " While we were able to get that resolved, it was an overall horrible experience that I will make sure to never go through again. We will never stay there again, and will make sure to let everyone we speak to know that Palm Suites is the one location to definitely never stay at in Atlantic Beach, NC. Management needs to improve, and the rooms need serious updates. On top of this, there was no offer for a refund or anything. We have tried to get in touch with Management (Barry Eagle? ) and have yet to hear back. Highly do not recommend.

I enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were lovely. Only problem was the keys. They had to give us over 3 because they either didnt work or stopped working after giving us a new one.

The online photos of this hotel looked great, the lobby has been nicely remodeled. The rooms, however, were completely a different story. Fortunately we only booked 1 night. We checked in, went to the beach all day and came back to our hotel room to shower and get ready for dinner. We soon discovered that the water pressure was no more than a dribble and were told that the system was overwhelmed at that time. It was suggested that we shower using the outdoor pool shower, which was cold. My daughter had to put on her wet and sandy swimsuit to shower outdoors in the dark. This is unacceptable. When we initially tried to call the lobby, we found the phone to be not in working order. There was also a lamp missing a light bulb and the room curtain barely hanging. We were offered a discount for our troubles, but sometimes a hot shower is just, well, priceless.

This hotel is alright. The staff was nice. But in our room, the bed was as hard as a brick, the little couch really needed to be replaced. The cushions on the couch were smashed down and not very comfortable, it looked like it had been around for awhile. Other than that the room wasn't to bad. And the only problem we had, was the fire alarm going off at 10:30 at night. Come to find out there was a problem with a smoke detector in one of the rooms and the alarm had been going off several times a day for over a week.

My husband and I stayed in room 204 and it was absolutely beautiful, very modern and cozy. We had a lovely view of the sound and enjoyed grilling out on the dock. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were very satisfied.

I LOVED staying here. The room was absolutely adorable and very clean. The decor was just precious and the view was amazing. My daughter loved being on the balcony and visiting the pier. Short walk to the beach. My bathroom needed repair to be honest, but this place is a gem! It just needs a little TLC and I believe they were in the process of repairing some things on the property. My family and I will definitely go back!
