Rooms are clean and spacious. Free breakfast mediocre. Check in is usually quick if you don't have to wait for someone to get to the front desk. Free airport shuttle is nice. Located conveniently right off highway. Priced competitively for hotels around the area. Always stay here for uptown events and get an Uber. Much cheaper still than uptown hotels.

The lobby is gloomy and smells like smoke. Initially we were given Room 216. When we got to the elevator, the door opened but the elevator was still moving upwards. The elevator looks old and seems as if it needs to be serviced. There was a dead cockroach in the elevator vent. In room 216, the carpet was dark and looked like it needed a good cleaning. Pillows were small and flimsy. The air conditioner would not stay on. You can tell the room is old but they are trying to spruce it up by painting the walls and decorating. We were not pleased with the hotel at all, so I called the front desk clerk informed him of the issues and asked if we could cancel reservations and receive a refund. He informed me he had to get management approval and call me back. Within 5 minutes or so he called back and stated that we would be billed for one night if we canceled. Basically there was no refund due to the cancelation policy. He was very nice and offered to move us to another room. We were then given room 120. The carpet was newer and the pillows were bigger. There was a dead roach on the bed when we removed the bed drape. The bathroom is small. There was a large crack in the ceiling that wasn't patched up all that well. The bathroom sink had no stopper. The iron leaked water and when I tried to use the steamer it blew out gray dust and black particles on my jeans. Breakfast consisted of bagels, muffins, cereal, milk, coffee and waffle maker.

The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The building has clearly seen better days, and features decor from the 70s is seems. The beds were super soft and the AC unit worked well, thankfully!

Clean and very comfortable bed. Woke up thinking I was in my own bed at home. Very unusual for me.

This was an lay-over hotel. Our plane could not leave. The airport was closed. The beds and pillows we're very comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was No heavy curtains. Anyone could look in. In fact there were cars parking right in front of the window. My husband put a sheet up so no one could look in. I would stay there again only if we get the second floor.

The airline put me up at this hotel when my flight was delayed overnight. I only slept here for a few hours before heading back to the airport, but the hotel was clean and comfortable for my purposes. The airport shuttle was really convenient, only a 5-minute drive from the airport.

This place is nothing but an absolute dump! DO NOT waste your time or your money! Our room had towels on the bathroom floor — upon check in! Phone had been yanked out of the wall. Floor had stuff all over it. Fridge had food/drinks left over in it. REAL QUICK used my cell phone to call front desk! Obviously they don’t care, typical laziness in these foreign owned hotels. All they want is your money!

King Room is very large, rooms have been upgraded to modern fixtures, LCD TV, furniture and mini fridge/microwave. Great value for price. Weekly rate is exceptional if booked on Expedia.

Run far far away from this hotel and save your money! My husband, daughter and in laws stayed at this hotel prior to catching an early morning flight. We arrived at 3pm, which is check in time. Robbie, the clerk, asked us to wait to check in because it was apparently change of shift and the other desk clerk had not arrived yet. We hesitantly agreed to wait, as our 10 month old daughter cried and fussed because she was tired from the 3 hour drive we just endured to get to Charlotte. As we waited for 20-30 minutes for the other clerk to show up, Robbie slept at the desk! More and more people arrived to check in, so he begrudgingly checked us in, which only took 2 mins and was a complete jack ass about it; moaning to the other worker about how tired he was, while they both sat on there cell phones. Nothing was explained to us about the hold they put on our credit card, he ignored me when I was asked to be put on the airport shuttle list and the look of pure annoyance was plastered on his face the entire time he had to deal with me. I am sorry but that’s your job; maybe rethink a career in hotel services if people annoy you that much. When we arrived at our room, there were dead cockroaches in the window sills, the sheets appeared stained, there was brown stuff all over the walls, the bathroom smelled of strong urine and there was white stains all over the bed skirt. Is this a new trend, hotels not cleaning the rooms or bedding?

Good service, shuttle every hour, very clean room.

Room was nice and clean and fairly quiet! King bed was very comfy! Loved the new furniture and the usb ports on the lamps! Definitely will stay again.

Stay from 5/6/2016 to 5/8/2016. I must say I wasn't impressed or pleased at all with anything. Hallways were dark, paint was atrocious, staff wasn't professional. On the way to the room, there 4 dirty mattresses placed in the hallway, which were there the whole weekend. When we stepped in to the room I was immediately couldn't breathe because it seemed a whole can of lysol spray was used on everything (Not everyone can tolerate being in confined spaces with fumes). Everything else was okay for the first night. However the next day, the guy that was at the front desk obviously was making up his own rules. We needed to print some tickets out and the sign near the printers obviously said $0.25 per page instead of $0.50 per page he was trying to charge us. Wouldn't have mind paying it, but he had started getting an attitude with us until my girlfriend told him that is what the sign said then he still had an attitude as our papers printed. Also just found out today we were charged twice and now dealing with this same rude staff who are mad we are trying to getting this resolved. Really can't get past the lack of professionalism and the lack of sanitary for this hotel. We will definitely be finding somewhere else to stay next time visiting Charlotte.

The room was good, nice and clean I had a comfortable bed and a fridge. The price was fairly cheap about $75 for a night, cheaper than most Charlotte airport hotels. The staff though, it was not a good experience for me. I came in and was ignored for about 5 minutes, I had to get their attention, I was the only person checking in. I am giving 2 stars based on my experience here I do not know if it is always going to be like this. I asked for information in the area and I felt like I was disturbing the person on the front desk, not a welcoming place in my opinion.

Location wasn't far from airport. Front desk staff help was helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Not the most modern room but still put together nicely.

It smells bad and see my pic I posted. Footboards were removed from at least three beds (in three rooms) and there are brackets that stick out but are covered by the dust ruffle. Have fun smacking your ankles on those over and over again. Everything is worn out and funky. Lower your expectations and it may be totally acceptable but no higher than that. My room smells musty like… a combo of old popcorn, urine, mold and a stale waffle cone. The smell literally and inexplicably keeps changing… KEEP YOUR SOCKS ON.

Was in town just for one night for a concert. The reviews for the hotel were kinda low, but for the price I think it's a great place to stay. It was just me and my buddy and we've stayed in some seedy motels, but I would not have an issue bringing my family to stay here. We did not use any of the facilities, but the room was really nice, and we never felt unsafe.

We arrived to Charlotte airport after a 6 day vacation in Punta Cana. We had a 12 hr layover for our final destination in Detroit. So we decided to get a hotel till morning. We called a few from the airport and couldn't find vacancy. We called Baymont and they had one room left. We took it. They sent a van to pick us up within 10 mins. The guy was great. Funny and helpful. I had 0 money for tip. And he still was very cool to us. Said it was no problem. Understanding the situation. The guy at the front desk was very helpful also. Quick and prompt. Allowing us to get to our long waited slumber as fast as possible. The room was a little musty but clean and just right for our short night. We took the 730am shuttle to get to our flight. Very efficient and on time. Again we had 0 money for tip. Felt bad but driver was cool. We were very satisfied with the whole Baymont experience. Everything was just as promised by the desk person we talked to originally. We were fortunate.

Located conveniently at Rt 85 and Billy Graham, the main desk was understaffed to receive the unexpected stranded motorists and flight cancellations. I took the creaky elevator to my 3rd floor single room that had an old dank musty odor with inadequate airflow. Desklamp has USB for recharging. Mini fridge and microwave appeared clean and the furniture clean and seemed fairly new. The bath had a noisy exhaust fan that came on when you turned on the light. One queen size bed was firm and comfortable.

Great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere cheap and close to the airport. I read the reviews on this and was honestly very nervous after I booked it. However, we just needed it for the night though. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. Super comfy bed, beautiful furniture, and did not smell musty like other guests noted. The lobby and hallways did smell musty though. I recommend this for travellers. There is also a free shuttle to and from the airport as well a continental breakfast.

I stay in hotels QUITE a bit due to my job but this is Absolutely ridiculous! If you need a quick & cheap place because nothing else is available then ok… Otherwise please choose elsewhere… Hotel smells old and moldy… Curtains are sheer so obviously if I can see outside I'm sure everyone else can see inside… Desk lamp was broke, air conditioner might as well been a fan… but to leave this on a positive note… The furniture armoire thing that held the television up was pretty.

Beware of BED BUGS! My friend and I decided to go to Charlotte for a one day get away, we found this hotel online and the pictures looked decent for the price. During check-in we heard another guess mention to the staff about itching after staying there for multiple nights, she even said that she thought she saw something, asking if there had been any complains. After that guess left staff assured us that She had been complaining the whole time and there was nothing to worry about. NEEDLESS to say 2 days later we both had been bitten by BED BUGS. When we called the hotel there was no remorse from the staff they didn’t offer to give our money back or do anything to compensate us. We called the health department filing a complaint, when the inspector when to check out the room it was closed off and he was told by the staff that terminix was there to address any issues and they would report findings. Please don’t waste your time staying here.

Not a bad experience; but don't ever think of this place as an option. My door must've been kicked in before; I know because they didn't even bother to change it. We slept well the beds were comfortable. The breakfast sucked. The midnight staff were very nice and helpful. But this pacific Beaumont Inn is dirty, broken and rundown.

This place is filthy, I don't know how it meets health regulations. My sheets had several stains on it, after I told the nice front desk clerk I could tell that he was ashamed and probably heard the same complaint many times. He moved me into a other room and I was thinking that it would be more pleasant but it was worse. I wouldn't even recommend animals sleeping here.

This hotel needs to be shutdown! I will never stay in this hotel ever again, and I will make sure that everyone I know stays away from here as well. How can you people turn away any active military? The local businesses and people should boycott this hotel, and teach them a lesson that our military personnel shouldn't ever be treated this way again! Whoever turned this guy away should be extremely ashamed.

I have never stayed at this hotel but after just reading a story about a young Army Corporal that was stranded due to his flight being cancelled because of inclement weather and the the fact that the USO even made arrangements for him to stay here until he could catch a flight back to his base in the morning they turned him away because he wouldn't be 21 until September. They stated their policy does not allow anyone under 21 to stay at this hotel despite the fact that he's laying his life on the line serving his country. He walked across the street to the Wyndham and even though they have the same policy it does not apply to our servicemen and women which seems to be the same protocol for most hotels. This Baymont Inn and Suites should be ashamed of itself! Apologies or excuses don't change what happened. I wouldn't stay here if my life depended on it.

The establishment turn down a military soldier due to age. He was stranded in Charlotte due to weather conditions. USO made the arrangement and then turned away. Would never stay here.

This place is absolutely the WORST! Things are falling apart. It's very dirty, and the customer service is downright rude! It took the driver last night 45 minutes to come pick us up from the airport though it's only about 10 minutes away. Natalie was the lady on duty last night and she was rude and flippant and completely uncaring. I will never stay here again.

People who shit on this place are definitely whiners. The price I paid was unbeatable, the king sized bed was super comfortable and clean, my shower was hot and clean with great water pressure, staff was polite, and they had (to my great surprise) a waffle maker at the continental breakfast! the elevator did smell though, but like. It happens. Also great, prompt shuttle service.

Awful! Worst hotel experience ever! Stinks! Dirty! Non-smoking room smelled Like a smoking room. Elevator stinked of smoke. Faucet in the bathroom not even bolted down.

I had a delayed flight to the next morning so I decided to stay in a hotel near by. There shuttle came in a timely manner and the shuttle driver was quite nice helped with bags and held general conversation. The front desk lady was handeling the mass amount of people in the lobby decently; however, once I got in the room I realized it was a little dark with the lights on but otherwise bed was comfy clean sheets and towels, warm water in the morning and a decent breakfast before I was off to the airport again overall great place for the price. Also Wi-Fi and cable were working great they also had new tvs in rooms.

Believe the hype. This is a fairly scummy place in a kind of bad area. I give it 2 stars only because it wasn't so scummy that I had to sleep in the car and the bathroom was relatively clean. The free internet worked without issue and my room at least had a decent HDTV. But all in all, it's pretty awful. The sheets were clean but had spooky scorch marks on them. There were literally sticky spots on my carpet where it looked like someone had dumped chocolate syrup or something. And yes, the hallway is scary. There was a blood stain on the hallway carpet on the way to my room and the border along the baseboards was littered with dust and debris like they hadn't vacuumed in weeks. The elevator, scary. And no drapes on the windows. Just sheers. It's the kind of place you wouldn't be surprised to find cameras hidden in the smoke alarm. If the ghetto doesn't scare you and you can get a really good deal, then this place will do. But seriously, you can do way better.

Denim clad serial killer, but good snacks. This hotel experience is the perfect match for a delayed US Airways flight. 2 stars because they had honey bbq fritos in the snack machine and the reception guy handled the 30+ backed up voucher guests after midnight well. Be aware there was a serial killer wearing full denim that was using the lobby area to size up his next victim, but other than that pretty solid hotel.
