I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and while I was there. I ordered eggs for breakfast and asked the staff member for fresh eggs.

Needed for few hours of sleep after cancelled connector flight. Check in desk by Sharon great, sound proofing needs great improvement. Best bed ever. Sharon again best calling a taxi when she saw us frantically leaving the airport.

The rooms were very nice although I wish this wasn't one of those hotels that doesn't have locks on the bathroom doors. The bar/restaurant in the lobby was pleasant and had good service, however the breakfast lunch buffet is extremely overpriced. Overall I would recommend staying here just not eating here.

Very nice hotel with a convenient location if you're going to Charlotte for a panthers game. Hotel is a little bit older and some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but overall a great place to stay. I would absolutely stay there again.

Nice hotel. I was there for a business training event and stayed two nights. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, has a nice pool and fitness center and had great food during the training. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. They are also in the midst of replacing all the beds so that will even be better in the future. Staff was helpful and friendly as well!

Would like to give 1/2 star, but not given that option. Here for my family reunion. Requested adjoining rooms months in advance as we travelled with young children and an elderly woman, not accommodated. Front desk staff, and front desk management uncaring, borderline rude. Bathroom shower in one room broken. Rooms dirty, musty smelling, linen dirty. Walls need cleaning. Dressing/woman's locker room in pool area in desperate need of a paint job and an upgrade. Greeted by a large, fast-running waterbug when I left dressing room. Breakfast food is good, fresh, nice variety, and food service staff very, very nice, all of them. Will not waste my money at this establishment ever again, and I have advised my family and friends in the NC/SC area not to stay at that Crowne Plaza Hotel either.

The Hotel is Really Nice and Clean. Loved The Modern Decor. The only reason why I’m giving it a 3 star is because they had a family reunion going on the same weekend we stayed and they took over. I don’t mind the reunion but they were playing their music in the pool area and basically took over the pool. The hotel should handle big events like that one a little better. Many guests that were not part of the family reunion would enter the pool area and leave because they felt out of place. Almost like we were interrupting their reunion because they had food, and their music very loud. The other thing was that both pools were not heated and the water was very cold. On the website is says heated pool but it wasn’t the case. Other then those Two things we were very pleased with everything else.

This hotel was a quick stop for us for our way to Florida from Ohio. The hotel is right outside of Charlotte, less than a mile from the freeway. Parking lot was roomy with plenty of room and the check in was quick and smooth. There is a $50 fee held for accidentals charged for each day. The room was perfect, plenty of room, very clean with a Keurig coffee maker that makes everything perfect. I plan on returning on my way back and any other time in the future.

The Crowne Plaza is staffed by a warm and professional group. Their bathroom accoutrements are very nice and they work to help you feel relaxed and at ease when you're away from home. Their dinner service is very professional and delicious, albeit the hotel orders are pretty standard.

Banquet event for son — food was good and service was as well (to the standard you expect) and revising review since prior (besides spelling) version was not complete.

Was here for a conference. Well kept Reception desk person was nice and helpful to get me to the right area. Wait staff was good/attentive Bathroom clean and nice Ample parking.

The staff was very attentive and kept the concession areas clean and well stocked. All meals served during the event were excellent. During the presentations there were some technical issues. Although they were not resolved, a work around was provided.

While the Crowne Plaza doesn't look like much on the outside, it's quite a different story once you are inside. The main lobby is not only spacious and clean, but very modern and attractive. The staff is exceptional in their friendly disposition and attentiveness. The event hall is a perfect spot for a summit, semminar weekend, or any other large function with a lot of people. The smaller side rooms are also very well furnished and comfortable. Whether for an event with 1000 people or just 10, the facilities are more than adequate. The hotel's location right off 77 make it easy to get just about anywhere in Charlotte with minimal hassel.

Rooms and amenities were very nice. However, I got in at 6 am after flying an airplane all night and have never been woken up more in my life at a hotel. Housekeeping was insanely loud and even with the do not disturb sign on the door, someone entered my room. Would not suggest if you're actually trying to catch up on sleep before another late night.

My boyfriend and I made a week long reservation here. The first evening there I wanted to put some things in the mini fridge. When I opened the mini fridge it smelled like something had died. We informed the front desk and asked if they could clean it or put in a different one while we were out to dinner. We were gone for at least 3 hours and when we got back nothing had been done. Needless to say we checked out the next morning and stayed the rest of the week at a different hotel nearby.

Great hotel. Their servers went down right as I was coming to check in so they set me up with a free drink at the bar while I waited. Room has been nice and clean — no complaints.

We have been here twice now for two consecutive company Christmas parties and the staff were incredible each time. Only suggestion would be some kind of security or protocol in place. This last time we experienced a stray member of another Christmas party that wandered into ours and started harassing some of the women in our party. The men in our group had to personally escort him out. However, it was last reported that he was still on the premises. Aside from that incident, the hotel is extremely clean and staff is incredibly accommodating!

Rooms are clean and confy. But beware, if you take a shower be ready to yell when the water suddenly becomes scorching hot; like when someone flushes the toilet but in this case no one flushed. Halls are clean but the cold scheme of the carpet makes it look dirty. We arrived late from the airport so the restaurant was closed. The reception staff was efficient but with a cold demeanor. In summary, if you are in need of a quick stay, this is a good option.

Wow, I am impressed. This place is definitely a must every year when I come into town. Right location, beautiful setting. Southern hospitality staff. Hotel decor and amenities are a great. If you are always on the road this is a hotel to enjoy and relax 1 night or few days. If you are on vacation or a couple weekend getaway. This is the Place as well.! The bedsheets are so soft. Thanks the whole staff awesome. I am happy. Special thanks to the Future Hotel Boss Shelby the best hotel receptionist I have ever met. So Natural, professional and courteous. Always smiling and trying to make your stay over the top. She is on her way to be a bright star in the hospitality industry. Don't let any negativity get to the pure.

This place is awful online they said they have family rooms. When we get there we find out that family rooms just consist of two double beds. After we checked in within hours all four of us were sick. We were there for 10 days and sick the entire time. I'm pretty sure it was from all the mold on our floor. Not to mention even though everything was paid up front we had to put a deposit down. And it never got returned to us they claim that they will release it back to you when you checkout but your bank won't release it for 10 days. When I contacted the bank they state that the hotel never released it.

Slightly better than average. I would summarize it in one word: inconsistent. I experienced 2 different extremes each day. Excellent restaurant/room service and staff. But, then cold, distant staff members at times. The hotel was immaculate at full occupancy. But, I came back to my room at 5:30 pm and it wasn't cleaned yet. I think it comes down to training and managing. It has all the potential to be a 4-5 star. Great Chef though!

I stayed here for work. Room was nice, clean. Although every purchase I made here was charged 3 times at 3 completely different prices. When mentioned to the front desk they claim they did no wrong and will not refund. Will have to contact bank to dispute.

The staff is very friendly and always happy to help in any way. I have dietary issues and they catered to that with no hesitation, which is rare to find no matter where I go. Rooms are great with nice showers and large tv's. Beds are comfy and rooms are fully equipped. Within walking distance of restaurants and conveinent stores.

Such a great experience staying here. We attended a birthday party for 50 in one of their ballrooms that was fantastic. The food in the buffet was really exceptional. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and anxious to help us. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a great view from the balcony. There was a yummy breakfast buffet and a large, inviting lobby. It's a convenient location with an airport shuttle. Would definitely recommend this hotel for hosting an event.

Hotel is located right off of Interstate 77, roughly ten minutes from Uptown, South Park, Carowinds, etc. In other words it's in a great location. The hotel was very clean and has a nice bar area as soon as you walk in. The room was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had a balcony. Staff was inviting and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Good stay and meetings so far, but a few gaps toward excellence. "I don't know, go ask him" was overheard when a co-worker asked about gluten free pre ordered lunch and room service trays have been evident day and night. Otherwise good staff interactions, and hotel is generally clean and welcoming.

Rooms are very good. The food from room services is superve. The only proble is the attendants at the front desk do not smile they could be trained to more courteous and amicable. By the way you are in the hospitality business. They would get 5 stars with this very important change.

I was here for a week. I was renting one of the Meeting rooms. The customer service was impeccable. They always refreshed coffee and water and asked how I was doing. The hotel was very clean included the bathroom. I cannot give this hotel 5 star because I didn't see the rooms and it wouldn't be a fair assessment.

Literally the absolute worst business related trip I have ever had because of this hotel. I was at conference for a global company and my personal card was charged twice in error along with at least 6 other people at our conference. One woman was charged $1, 050 for a two night stay when she should not have been charged at all! The staff was not apologetic and acted like I was bothering them by trying to have them rectify their mistake. I eventually had to call my bank to reverse the charges only to be double charged for room service. That staff is apathetic and rude. The room stunk of the previous occupants, and the elevators were slow and in disrepair. The management set the tone for the staff clearly. The pool is sub par and the shower rooms are disgusting! Our breakfast, dinner, and lunch were provided at least once by the hotel and the potatoes were raw, the eggs were re-constituted, and overall I felt like I was eating at a high school cafeteria, not a crown plaza hotel. I will strongly recommend that our conference of 120 people, be moved to a hotel with more helpful staff, cleaner rooms, and care for their patrons. There was a time when the Crown Plaza was the classiest place to stay and they employed exemplary staff, exceeded expectations, and hired world class chefs. Clearly those time have past.

Didn't know we were staying here. American Sidelines Airlines cancelled our flight with no warning. We had to find our own accommodations last minute. We landed up here. Front desk was great. When I told him that the first flight we could get out on was 8:20PM the next day he gave us the latest check out that he could. The bar area was open for food until midnight so we were able to grab a delicious pizza. Room was really nice and at a reasonable price. Coffee maker in the room for three morning.

Bugs in Room… Checked in Sunday and spent the evening by the pool. The poolside amenities were not as advertised. Pool bar only open a few days a week and they refused to light fire pits. The pool area was the reason we chose this hotel so that was disappointing but the place seemed clean and the room was nice so oh well. On Monday night we checked out the lobby bar, had a few drinks (bar staff was amazing), and then we relaxed a few hours on one of the many couches in the lobby. Went to the room, I took a shower and then went to bed. Woke up Tuesday morning, went to the bathroom noticed I had bug bites on my body. The bites were over the left side of my body. I had bites on the left arm, hip, thigh, and down the side of my calf. There were approx. 13 bites total. I had showered right before bed the night before and knew that I had no spots on me. The bites continued to swell, became extremely itchy. The bites continued to itch throughout the week. The itching was so severe that I scratched my body to the point of drawing blood several times. I spoke to a friend of mine who has worked as a hotel manager at a major hotel that will remain unnamed. She looked at my bites and told me that she believed that they bites were in fact bed bugs and that I needed to contact the hotel immediately so that they could check the room… I called Friday to report the incident and I was told a manager was not available but that I would get a call back the following day (Saturday).

Love live this hotel, the staff are wonderful the rooms are always clean. Bed comfortable. I really hate they did away with the hot tub. But everything else was AWESOME. I LOST my phone and the staff at the front desk did not stop until they helped me locate it. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Clean room. Though the a/c unit I think needs a tune up. Rattled through out my stay. Breakfast was very good.

The building itself was beautiful with tastful, modern decor. I was disappointed though with the service. Upon arrival it took an uncomfortable amount of time to be acknowledged by the receptionist verbally and even longer to be looked in the eye. She was clearly struggling with the computer but a simple "I'm having some technical issues", a smile, and assurance that she'd be right with us would have lengthened my patience. Eventually she gave up and sought after someone to help her, I heard him inform her from behind a break in the wall that the systems were rebooting and it would be about 5 minutes. She came back around hands held out in a sign of defeat, and offered no solutions. I had to prompt her by saying "soo… is there no way to get us into our rooms yet or? " I found it silly that all 4 computers were resetting at the same time, not that I didn't believe her but just an unpleasant system to be greeted by after a long journey and heavy bags tugging on you late at night. She hurried back around the bend to ask, confirming my suspicions that she hadn't thought to be concerned of that herself. They told us, no, we would just have to wait. Again, no creative solutions. So I prompted again that she could have my reservation information and name and call me up when she was ready. She agreed and I sat in the chairs about 15 feet in front of the desk, in the near vacant lobby.

Check and was phenomenal, although no one helped bring in luggage. As they were doing other customers. Got a complimentary upgrade on the room. Was not Disturbed in the morning by housekeeping as was previous. Room head balcony with beautiful view wish I could leave a picture All in all great stay.

Great stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was clean and nicely accommodated. The only downside was the interstate noise during the early morning. I would highly recommend this location when staying in Charlotte.

Staff friendly and rooms were nicely appointed. Pre-ordered breakfast was not delivered and free room Wi-Fi not available in meeting rooms. However staff provided an alternative. Overall a nice experience.

Last year my stay was super o stayed in a suite and my platnum status felt important! This year im stsying agsin and im at a higher level of priority but it doesnt feel like it yet! We will see when I arrive in a day and I will re-evaluate them then! But so far Tyler at front desk is very nice and Jazzman is very helpful and they also have a guy answering phones with a voice that is very handsome lol.

The conference room for our conference was comfortable and stocked with water and other beverages. The staff was friendly and parking was plentiful…

My company hosts conferences here every three months. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is always clean.

The airport shuttle driver was incredibly prompt and courteous. The location is conveneient to downtown Charlotte and to the airport. The staff is courteous (front desk, room service, restaurant) and efficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I staying from Oct 15-18. The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I ate that the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the rib eye and portabello mushrooms. If i'm ever in the area, I will definitely stay again.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel. We stayed on the 18th floor in a King Suite. They do not air condition the higher floors to save money, maintenance had to come fix the TV since it kept showing no signal and cutting off, they do not provide AV input selections, the elevators take literally 5 minutes to get to your floor, the A/C unit that was located in our room kept leaking, there are no mini fridges or microwaves in the King Suite. When checking out the clerk asked us how our stay was and we informed her terrible and she laughed. I've stayed at many hotels and never do reviews but this was by far the worst. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the breakfast staff was unbelievable.

While checking into this hotel I was told that my reservation was made for a whatever is available deal. This was explained to me as been whatever room is available. Apart from the fact that I have platinum Ambassador status with IHG I was stuffed into a crappy room. I acknowledged when she told me there were no more King beds available because thats all I was asking for. She clerk told me the hotel was completely booked. However on reaching to my room I was able to go on both the website and the mobile app and find King rooms available and even went as far as calling the hotel reservation and was offered a King as available. I would like to know if IHG really values their Platinum members or not or others are treated better than some.

Worst hotel ever! Stay at the Hilton! The staff is very un-welcoming and rude, the Hilton will give you a free breakfast and coffee. The Marriott will charge you an arm and leg. The rooms are not that clean and the AC leaked all in the floor.

Be prepared for a restaurant disaster, at least for breakfast, with 45 min wait for eggs, empty buffet and extremely slow staff. The rooms are OK with loud AC units. Premium Internet for $10 is also slow, 3mb/s, so no Netflix. Staff at the front desk is nice though.

Great stay except we got stuck on a floor with a party pack. Bummer. Woke us up at 5 in the morning.

I always stay here when I come to Charlotte (this is my 5th stay at this hotel) and I love it! The staff is super nice, the remodel is looking great and the new restaurant is so good! Thank you! Can't wait to stay again.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. Only problem I had was with some of the front desk people who were very un-welcoming. I would stay here again since it was priced really well.

The room is humid and the corridors are like a sauna. The Internet is slow (but you can pay for a buy up)! It is free so? The beds smell musty because of the humidity and everything seems damp. The pool looks like it needs updating though we didn't use the facilities. I wouldn't classify this hotel as luxury by any means. The rooms are clean. Hotwire was more than the hotel's best rate. Disappointing.

Terrible service! Nice place, but the management was terrible. I was supposed to get a gift card as part of a package at check-in and had to wait for hours to get it. Was given Starbucks drink vouchers to compensate. Then they closed down the Starbucks! Spoke with head management a week later and he didn't make things any better. Would not stay there again.
