I really like this place. Really nice people and great prices. It is in the process of being fixed up but you can see constant progress, and from your private balcony, lookin good!

Clean rooms & cold air conditioner.

New management very good. Clean and renovated place. Huge parking. Staff is friendly. Safe and good environment. Better from all nearby motel. Home feeling.

Great experience. Tim and his family made sure everything was professionally taken care of in every way. I came in at about 3 am. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Price was very economical. I would recommend!

Great room for the cost. Found it weird that the check in window at night time is a window but it makes sense for safety. We didnt have a reservation but they got us a room easily. The AC worked too well.

The dirtiest most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. Wreaks of cigarettes, is dark and dingy. Appears to be in a crappy part of town. The front desks manager speaks English very poorly and is rather rude. I would rather sleep under a bridge during a hurricane than think about staying in this disgusting place.

Everything was perfect. Large, clean and updated room, attentive staff. Will definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

Stayed on the way to and back from Miami. Clean, spacious rooms, very reasonable rates, no problems at all. Breakfast is limited, as expected. Would definitely stay again.

This is a nice hotel. They have done some updating to the rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Very good price for the room. There is a small refrigerator and microwave, no coffee in the room but they do offer a small breakfast in the morning.

The manager was a nice guy. They were undergoing a remodeling but they made it work. The free breakfast could of been better but its free.

Best place I have ever stayed at for that price, and I travel a lot! Really great find. Spacious rooms, clean, just renovated. Will visit again when traveling through I-95

I was really really surprised at how clean the rooms were they were brand new and they were refurbished. The outside of the hotel needs some work but the interior is what counts right? Anyway we slept very soundly and the TV was an upgrade and I really enjoyed it :-) definitely will go back to this Rodeway Inn in the future when I am in North Carolina on I-95. Very safe and I enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel the most. It is so very important to be clean now and days and this hotel brighten my spirits alot.

This place has been renovated recently. For the price I paid, the quality and comfort of the rooms and facility was equivalent to that of three star motel. Nice big room, with TV, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, iron, business table and couch. This is a hidden jewel on I95

Accustomed to cheap hotels, this one leaves a desire. The staff is a bit odd, the room was in the worst I've seen so far.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Entire hotel smelled of must and cigarettes. I opened the door to my room and was hit in the face by an un-Godly smell — as if the room hadn't been opened in ages. There were puddles of water on the floor. I folded back each comforter and found massive cigarette burns on them. The bathroom was full of rust and mold; I have pictures for proof. I called and spoke with the lobby staff member who helped check me in and requested a new room or refund. I was told there were none available despite there only being very few cars in the parking lot. I got a call back a few seconds later and was told to come down and see another room. It was then the staff member began to yell at me stating I shouldn't expect much due to the lower fare. He also told me I couldn't understand him because I was "white. " The second room was just as bad. I would have rather slept in my car. I was refused a refund and left. I did not feel safe nor comfortable staying at this disgusting place. I will be contacting corporate. This establishment is not even worth one star.

I don't even want to give this horrible motel a rating. The only reason I have the 1 star is due to the fact I had to stay because they charged my card. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT WHERE YOU STAY! I made reservations online, I called the morning I was to arrive to see if I could check in early. The front desk person was very rude & very hard to understand. When we arrived I was told I only had a reservation for 4 nights. I reserved for 5 nights. We were put in a room that had no heat, the tub area was filthy, soap scum still in the tub around the shower head, towels & washcloths were grey, smelled dirty. We were told by the nasty front desk person we could get another room the next day! No way we were staying in cold room all night! Temperatures during the day in the 40's. I am in town on business. I went to the front desk to talk to the evening clerk who told us we could get another room, but, we chose to leave to go home. And return on Wed morning. Upon returning the room was inspected with the same front desk person, room was warm but, the toilet was leaking when you flushed it. Again, we changed rooms. The motel has doors that have key entry's but anyone can enter. Renovations that are no improvements. It looks like a slum area. I quickly made reservations at another hotel that is much nicer, staff was so much more pleasant, & easy to understand. Rooms clean, no entry without a key. We felt very safe. DON'T waste your money. I was unable to sleep.

This place is a dump. Heater did not work. It was in the 30's and we froze. Not enough towels, no bath mat, toilet was dirty, no blankets, crappy dim TV. Everything shabby. Key didn't work. No security locks on exterior doors. Hallways a mess. Breakfast was a joke; old fruit, stale muffins etc. Will NEVER stay here again.

This place was accommodating! There was not one place around that would let My husband and I stay with our three Great Danes. They did! We were in a serious pinch my husbands grandfather passed away and we are from out of state so we needed some where in a very short period of time. We arrived from Pa. At 3:00 am and they did not care. We stayed in an older room that wasn't newly remodeled it still wasn't bad. When we come and visit family this is where we will be staying with or without our fur babies! We can't wait to come back and see it finished and fully remodeled. Keep up the Great service! Thank you for being so kind when we needed it the most!

The owner/manager was such a nice guy. Oh and also the place is being remodeled. Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was great. The bed was comfortable and the TV was perfect for catching the World Series.

Pastries and coffee free at breakfast. No pool. We stayed again on our way back home because we liked it so much the first time.

Hallway had an odor. Toilet bowl had a ring, but the rest was clean. Price was good. Hallway door to lobby was locked at 6am when I went to get coffee. Called the front desk. He came and opened it and was friendly. Said the evening person should have told me they lock it at night for safety. Free continental breakfast, nothing fancy, but decent choices and free coffee.

Bed newand comfortable yet halway smells needs air venting, and thy don't give enough towels, soap and shampo, reminds me of a visit I had to a city jail years ago when I was young.

This place is awesome each room has sliding glass doors the rooms were very nice it us a no frills place but very relaxing and they are redoing the hotel both in side and out but I was never disturbed by any of it over all I liked this hotel the best.

A great stop off location if you are not looking for a five star hotel. Well worth the price and the customer service. Rooms were clean enough although outdated but a definite stay again for me. Being right off the I95 was a plus.

This place was what I needed, a bed right off of I95, cheap, and plesant staff.

We stayed there it was a night mare mold dead roaches moldy coffee pot nasty and we couldn't get our money back we were harassment by strangers that lived there to be some call girls manager didn't do anything about it buy ur own cups toilet paper bring ur own towel.

Returning from Florida to Philadelphia, we stayed at this motel for the night. Very good place to stay for price. Very comfortable, clean and large rooms! Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. We have forgotten personal items that were sent to our home.

This place isn't bad if you're used to staying in two — and one-star hotels. In fact, for what it is, this one is superior, hence the four stars. For $38, my room was HUGE, pretty quiet, the bed comfy, and the hall barely redolent of cigarettes and cannabis. So again, if you're not a princess who fancies herself above such cheap digs, you can't do better than Traveler's Inn if you're on the way through Rocky Mount.
