I checked-in with Naomi and she was super friendly… Very refreshing after a long day on the road. (Very uncommon)
The room was clean and stocked.
My room overlooks the NC mountains.
Couldn’t be happier. Excellent experience. Great value.

We went down for the 4th, paid elevated prices for the holiday and the power goes out the 2nd day of our stay. The hotel doesn't have generators, yet per the representative at the front desk, power goes out all of the time. Why hasn't the hotel chain invested in? generators. Well they didn't know when the power would be back on, so we cut our trip short. Not happy right now. Will have to wait to see if I'll be charged for the night I didn't stay.

Best hotel experience. Friendly staff. Definitely will be staying there again. Went on our vacation and stayed for 5 nights. Thanks a bunch.

Very nice, very clean, close to downtown Sylva NC. Close to WNC too. I recommend staying here if vacationing in the area.

The Comort Inn in Silva was a great stop for us during summer travels. The hotel has been recently remodeled and is nice and clean. Many thanks to Patricia for going out of her way to help us get some breakfast items despite us coming down after they had closed up for the morning. This was a great stop with a helpful and friendly staff. Thank you!

Very very comfortable beds. I got great sleep there. They had the typical free continental breakfast but the service by the attendant is the best. I think the elevators could be a little cleaner, but but this was the only time the elevators had been in need of cleaning. There were two or three Little League All-Star baseball team staying there so I'm sure the facilities team had their hands full. I recommend this place highly.

Service was great. The walls in the room were a little scratched up and the television was difficult to navigate but otherwise the visit was good.

Front desk, housekeeping and food service staff always very helpful and pleasant. Enjoy the decor and cleanliness of the facility. Our place to stay in Sylva!

Excellent place to stay! We've been here once before, and came back to stay the night again because of our great stay previously! They have a great pool and workout room too! The best part by far was the great service by Justin, he worked as the host of the breakfast in the morning and deserves a raise. This man was the most attentive, kind, hardest working hotel employee I've ever had the pleasuee of meeting. Was always checking food, replacing what was getting low, cleaning plates for people, and best of all stopping by each table to make sure everything was tasting good for them. 10/10 would recommend this place for a good nights rest, a great breakfast and some relaxation!

Our stay was great, staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Patricia was so accommodating at breakfast and made our day! We will look forward to a return visit!

Located right off the highway, hotel is easy to find. Setup us a little odd with a and b sections. Hallway a units vent into stairways making them extremely hot. Rooms are standard, clean, ac not great. Breakfast and staff very good.

Great place. The continental breakfast was amazing and I actually forgot my wedding rings there and they nailed them to me.

Very clean and good location. Ryans buffet and walmart across street. Bed was so comfortable room was clean. Breakfast was awesome my husband even got to make me a waffle with all kinds of toppings. The young guy at front desk was very friendly and really enjoyed his job you could tell. Deffr cares about your company… we stayed 6-16-18 until 6-17-18 we will retur again real soon the suttles.

Great hotel! Very clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, good location, and great views! Our water pressure was a bit low on the 4th floor but totally acceptable and the view was worth it.

Rooms are beautiful but very hot. Staff very friendly. Loud though. Doors kept slamming. Close to college. Quite area even though in the center of this area. Rooms equipped with microwave coffee pot iron, large bath room. Comfortable beds.

Nice area. We went there and visited the Harrah's Casino nearby. They were very accommodating and room was clean and comfortable. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

Pretty standard bedrooms but a big bathroom. Nice people at the desk. Elevator is slow, especially for only 4 floors.

Won't compete with the Ritz, but isn't supposed to. Very nice, clean, new (or newly renovated) rooms and common areas. Nice breakfast area with hot breakfast and coffee in the mornings (and the coffee comes in decaf, regular, and "bold")

We were here one night and I can say goes when man wants. Rooms were large, clean nice staff and good breakfasts. On the move, unfortunately, not everyone does that. Top we would book here again!

Just called to book a room for tonight… 11/11. Asked bout military discount since I will be accompanied by an ACTIVE duty member… sorry no military discount. Mmmmmm today is VETERANS DAY! And no military discount! Anyone besides me see a problem with picture? But they want us Americans to spend money at their hotels! Yea, NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at! I always use my aunts discount since she works for choice so I never expect to much considering I pay so cheap. The location is absolutely wonderful. The town is small and safe feeling which is good for families or in my case, nobody messed with my car! The room was so clean and the AC worked so well that I was freezing and I had to turn it off! The breakfast area is so huge and very nice with booths and big TVs and a nice selection of waffles, potatoes and one day they had omelettes. The staff was wonderful! I was visiting here for my trip to the smokies and it is an hour drive from Gatlinburg due to the slow mountain roads so that was a stretch but that's okay. That's my fault. The only negative thing I could say is that if you back into a spot by the woods, when you come out in the morning it will be covered my huge ass spiders! So yeah don't do that. This is my favorite hotel so far!

From the initial greeting upon our arrival to our departure it was A+Mazing in every way. We'll be back. Great for motorcyclists riding in the Smokies.

I have had several friends stay as guests and every time, they left refreshed, well fed, and assisted whenever necessary. From working with the staff with the staff directly every Sunday and Wednesday, I can personally say that everyone is friendly and easy to work with, the rooms are clean, and if there is a request or inquiry, they are quick to resolve an issue or help as best they can. The breakfast is hot and yummy with several options providing food for any lifestyle, and I must say that the GM is exceptional having the utmost customer service attitude and care every single time I see him. The Comfort Inn of Sylva is cozy and clean. I recommend a stay here whenever you're in town.

This was the Perfect place to stay. Staff was friendly and breakfast was awesome. If I had to critique anything I would say it's time to replace the ice buckets in room 424. Still giving a 5 Stars.

The Comfort Inn in Sylva has a modern "feel" with all the desired amenities. The staff was wonderful and the FULL breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with a great view. The local paper was available once per week — it was fun to check out what was happening locally. I will stay there again.

Truly outstanding! — Our stay was an unexpected one (involving the failure of my Prius's BIG battery) but we couldn't have been more satisfied. I got the impression this was a fairly new hotel. The front desk staff was exceptional — as was the guy staffing the breakfast bar. Breakfast, incidentally, was unexpectedly good. I was surprised that this level of breakfast was included in the cost of the room. The room was immaculate. When I called Enterprise to rent a car (remember, our car failed us) — the Enterprise guy asked me about the hotel because he didn't know anything about it. I definitely told him it was a great place to stay. It really is.

True story… I must have stayed here on their off night. 5/26/17 Nobody at the front desk when I showed up. I had to go knock on the office door. Very strange vibes. I got room 404. On the way to the room there was trash all up and down the hall. Felt like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. We get in bed and the sheets were a mess. They smelled like mens cologne. Felt gross. We then found a nasal spray bottle in the sheets. Ok about to puke now. Woke up at 7:50am to the fire alarm. Somebody nuked some toast at the free breakfast. There was no food left so we waited on them to prepare more. Opened the bacon tray and it was half cooked. We ended up going next door the Sonic. We get back from breakfast and getting in the shower, no shampoo. Two conditioners. You cant make this stuff up. Rob.

Have stayed here for years, 8-12 per year. My recent stay was horrible. 1. The only elevator lift failed, with no assistance at checkout, and my recent hip surgery was put to the test on the stairs. 2. Rates for economy accommodations are outrageous. 3. Property wear shows poor maintenance, and popping noises all night long are not only a distraction to sleep, but are a concern the building is compromised. I have canceled my future stay reservations, and I will find more economical and better maintained accommodations.

Great customer service! Rooms clean and great hot breakfast. Stayed two nights with my daughter. I travel for work… so I've stayed at a ton of hotels. For the price, this is the best I've stayed in! I will return when visiting my daughter at WCU! Great job!

I had trouble with the A/C in my room… The overnight front desk guy was speedy in helping me & very pleasant… Good continental breakfast.

Overall a decent location, especially for this area. Staff were friendly and funny, and the hot breakfast surprisingly decent. The bathroom was large and well furnished and a ton of pillows and furniture are provided. Unfortunately, my externally facing from doesn't have closable blackout curtains, so the bright lights from nearby businesses are very distracting, the nearby road is quite noisy even from the third floor, and the AC unit was somehow both very loud and also not very effective at cooling down the room.

Perfect hotel to stay in when visiting Western Carolina or Sylva. Large rooms, very friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, pool, gym, and generally well off prices. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and smelled very nice. The front desk clerks were very friendly and encouraged me to come again without being forceful.

The location is a bit odd but is convenient for dinning purposes. I've been here many times attending events and I am never disappointed.

Clean and well kept. Staff was great. The Wi-Fi was a little on and off in the lobby area but other than that all was good.

Stayed at this hotel as a first time mom with a 4 month old baby. We called when we left town (about 5 hours out) and asked if we could be checked in early as we were travelling with an infant. They accommodated and actually let us check in about 4 hours early, with no complaints or extra fees! during our stay my boyfriend was working while the baby and I came and went by ourselves, and the entire staff was very enthusiastic about helping me catch doors or picking up items id dropped with my hands full, even helping me prepare a bottle at one point! The breakfast was pretty pretty good as well!

The service was great, the room clean and comfortable. The location peaceful and Walmart across the street for emergency.

Our room was right next to an elevator so very loud all night long, doors were slamming in the hallway, the people in the room next to us were cursing and laughing real loud and had the television blaring and every other word was beeped out, so overall very noisy. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was good for hotel breakfasts.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. The breakfast was great and the location was very convenient. Overall I loved it and would stay at a comfort Inn again.

We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn, along with several classmates for a class reunion. Every staff member was wonderful to all of us. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and updated. The new pool has opened. Noah and all the staff. Thank You for being wonderful to all of us and going above and beyond to assure we had a great stay. Will return and would not dream of staying anywhere else! Cullowhee High School Class of 1975!
