This is absolutely amazing! We had never been to NC and chose Panther Creek rather randomly. Wow just wow. It could not have been a more perfect place for our 30th anniversary. The location is beautiful. The creek running through the property and directly below our porch was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in Nature's Landing and it was perfect for the two of us. It is rustic enough that you know you are in a log cabin but totally equipped with everything you need. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton this isn't it. If you want all the beauty nature has to offer in a cozy, private and special place this is it. Erica, the housekeeper is so prescious! Lots of places to walk and waterfalls nearby. The drive to town is less than 10 minutes if you like to stay busy but if not you are far enough away that it is totally peaceful.

The most relaxing and peaceful get away. Only a few miles off the beaten path in a secluded mtn. Neighborhood! Absolutely beautiful and the owners are amazing! We WILL be back to stay! Thank you🤗

Rev. Miriam Blakely was so wonderful. She married my husband and I. Made us feel very comfortable and welcome at the beautiful little wedding chapel.

The place is absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful, we had a private. Wedding crremony by the beautiful waterfall just down from our cozy cabin! Seemed very Professional and cordial. Great place to get away and beautiful scenery great little town I would definitely go back.

We stayed there for 3 days. In the reservation we said we had dogs and we stayed in the pet friendly cabin. We were later told that the dogs were unauthorized and in their advertising it stated even the price of $59.00 for 2 dogs. They charged us 98.00 for unauthorized pets. The cabin was supposed to sleep 12 nope sleeps 10 max. The couch had crumbs all in the creases as well. There were 2 ceiling fans that did not work. No hot pads for the oven. Only one roll of toilet paper. Also apparently there was pee on a blanket that first she said on the bed then she said the sheet now it is a blanket that should have been for $700 well looking back in reviews apparently this is a pattern of pee on the blanket. And she said she had to have a bio hazard team come in for the pee on the blanket. A bio hazard team. The room that this was supposed to have happened in the adults brought their own bedding and the blanket that this was supposed to have happened on was folded at the end of the bed. Never used. The jacuzzi that was advertised? It is a bath tub with a couple of jets for one person. It was closed as well apparently for the season. Huh? The creek that was supposed to be in front of the cabin? It is a drain runoff. The roof leaks on the front porch all over. The trash you have to go down the road and look for it cuz if you don’t take it out you will be charged for it. I DO NOT recommend this set of cabins to anyone.

BEWARE:
The advertising is very deceptive. We stayed in the Cherokee Hunt Lodge, that advertised pets were allowed, jacuzzi on the front porch, a creek to fish in, and sleeps 12, according to their website.
One: Two ceiling fans were inoperable.
Two: The jacuzzi is just a bath tub that is apparently “seasonal”, so it was shut off.
Three: There is no creek. It’s water runoff from the mountains that you cannot fish in.
Four: It does not sleep 12, it sleeps 10. Then, the owner charged me $98 for supposedly “sneaking in dogs” when I called her when we booked the reservation and asked ahead; in which she told me that she appreciated me calling to tell her, and that the deposit will be included in the reservation payment.
And she charged me another $150 for a “urine stain” on some random fleece blanket that wasn’t even in our cabin.
We left that cabin spotless minus the unmade beds. We cleaned for that housekeeping that is supposedly taking two days.
Do not make a reservation here. The owner has a history of lying to customers, unprofessional attitude, and wants to take your money once she has your card information, making up stories to justify taking more money after you leave, and will send random photos that were taken days before your stay as she tried doing with us.
You’re better off with better customer service, professional staff, and not false advertising somewhere else.

Owner charged me for dog in room and there was NEVER a dog in the room. She just went ahead and charged my card $200 without calling me to discuss. She got $200 extra for nothing. Cabins ain't so hot either. Not worth it! Don't go.

My original review stated the cabin was clean and efficient although a little pricey for the space and the pullout sofa was ridiculously uncomfortable. It also said the grounds were beautiful. I deleted that review because since then we were charged an additional 149.00 for having a dog in the cabin, WHICH WE DID NOT. According to the owner there was dog hair found in the cabin. There was a sweet stray dog that came up while we were there. We gave her water as it was 90 degrees and leftover takeout ON THE PORCH. At no time was the dog inside cabin. The owners response was that we shouldn't have given the dog anything. Apparently this is not the first time someone has had additional charges for imaginary animals. Beware!

Beautiful property, the cabins were quaint and spotless. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. My only complaint was the pull out sofa was ridiculous. The mattress sags so much in the middle you cannot sleep comfortable at all. If you are going to advertise that it sleeps 4 then you should provide a proper second sleeping space. The outdoor space provided was wonderful with a large fire pit, several grills, rocking chairs and picnic tables. I did pick up a bag of trash left in and around the creek. To whoever may stay here please pick up your trash.

I’m glad I have been here previouslyI usually read reviews, but I also look at pictures and the personality of the people I am booking with. I understand that not every place can make everyone happy. Would I bring my teenage kid here without Wi-Fi NOPE BUT that’s why me and my husband go. We enjoy the peace and quiet and sitting on the porch listening to creek WHICH is AMAZING. EVERY time we have stayed its ALWAYS last minute due to getting someone to keep my kids that have disabilities. The cabins are well taken care for and they are clean. You CAN get Verizon cell service the Wi-Fi is still iffy though. ALSO it’s not to far from town or really anything. ALSO grandmas kitchen is awesome (not sure I can plug this lol but we eat there every time). The Owners have been more than accommodating for use being that we usually decide at 3 on a Friday that we can come which means we don’t arrive until after 10. Yes it is hard to find BUT once you see it you realize there is a big red building or something on the right past it just don’t go past that. Thank you again for your hospitality and we will be back we just never know when.

No landline. Cell phone did not work. We are seniors. Worried something may go wrong. No one would never know. Plus charges for crazy things. Also my dogs are well behaved. Was called to come back from checking out the sites. Then the grounds keeper spying on us.

Wonderful birthday getaway with my amazing fiance! cabin was beautiful and can't wait to visit again! only downside was no cell service. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your cabin Miriam and Noel :)

Loved it! Very first time ever going to North Carolina and staying in a cabin.

We had the best anniversary trip and will most definitely be coming back! Our cabin was spotless and much more than we expected. The owners are so easy to deal with and welcoming. I loved their antique shop and all the wonderful history they shared. Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

The cabin was beautiful, customer service not so much. Online page says the cabin I rented slept 12 people, turns out you have to make a deposit to me it seems for each person, even though we were less. Which it was a family trip. Was informed of a $50 deposit not a $200 deposit. They withdrew money ($200) from my account without informing me. They need to revise their page because it is very deceiving. Cabin was beautiful, but not worth all the trouble. A good example of discrimination. On top of that I call her and she makes up charges, is rude and hangs up on you! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They steal your money out of spite. I will be going to Cherokee to file a lawsuit. Thank you!

My wife and I booked fancys creek cabin for our anniversary this year. It was perfect. Cabin was very cozy (especially enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi). It's a very short drive to the national park and not too far from gatlinburg as well so there is plenty to do and see. We will definitely be back soon.

My favorite place to stay when I'm in Cherokee. The owners are so nice and the cabins are clean and well maintained. Be sure to check them out but make reservations in advanced!

We stayed Nov 17-19 in Nature's Landing. We enjoyed the stay! The cabin was nice, clean and in a great quiet location. There was a hiccup on the first day, but the issue was rectified. It's soooo nice and I can't wait to go back. Thanks to staff for their understanding and excellent customer service. I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here this weekend March 23-26 and enjoyed every bit of our stay! We highly recommend this place and especially fancy's creek cabin. Follow her directions and you will have no problem finding this gem off the side of the mountains. We also recommend Granny's Kitchen for good southern cooking buffet style. Thank you! The cabin was perfect for our first wedding anniversary!
