Great breakfast! Most Marriott hotels have the bistro, this one did not but it did have free breakfast which I prefer.

We had 2 of the suites earlier this month while there for a wedding. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and rooms service prompt and friendly when we need additional items. Breakfast was good too. Will stay there again.

Great hotel, great room, great staff, and great stay. The room is a good sized space with plenty of storage for long stays if you need that. The view from the front of building to the city and mountains surrounding it was really nice. The bathroom was spacious and clean. This is a good place to stay in Boone and we will definitely be back.

We arrived well after check-in time at 5:30pm and our room still wasn't ready, so we were offered coffee and had a seat. As soon as you enter the front doors you're hit with the pungent odor of mildew, mold and moisture. Instead of having us wait any longer, they "upgraded" us to a larger room. It stunk to high heaven of mold and mildew, you could feel the moisture in the air. Linens stunk and felt damp, mold in shower. I couldn't wait for the night to be over and to get out of there. Just felt dirty. A terribly uncomfortable nights sleep for husband and I. Poor all the way around. Won't be back never ever.

Very clean. Friendly staff and helpful. Low rates. Longer time on pool and check out. Awesome place to stay. Close to everything. The bed was comfortable.

Staff is great and breakfast is great for a Fairfield Inn. Great location and price. The only thing is the hotel is getting old and is in desperate need of a remodel with bed replacement. Calking falling off, floor tiles cracked, carpet worn, and the elevators make some banging noises during operation (inspection by NCDS in May of '18, so probably safe). Overall I will stay here again and do every month on business, but the Courtyard down the street is looking better every time. Note: Please add a marketplace in the hotel, I will use it a lot!

Not like the upscale Marriotts we are used too and there was stains on our mattress cover. Disgusting!

Went here for continuing education. Staff was professional and helpful. The room was convenient and comfortable. And I could walk to a nearby fast food restaurant to grab a quick lunch.

The room was clean and they had a great breakfast. The location. Is close to everything in Boone! Staff was incredibly friendly!

I am that person who checks under the sheets, mattress topper etc. Before I even unpack and in two different rooms there was hair and black little things (not sure what they were but definitely shouldn't be there)! We checked right back out and left! Went to another hotel that as freaking beautiful and clean! No more Fairfield Inn for us. It is outdated and needs improvement so bad. The orange walls have to go!

Great place to stay. Breakfast is awesome. Fresh fruits with freshly made eggs and sausage. The room is a little stuffy though. I think it's the carpet. Otherwise, wonderful overall.

We went to Boone for our anniversary and stayed at Fairfield. We really enjoyed our stay the room was clean and comfortable, the bed slept good and the breakfast it was very good. The staff were nice friendly folks too. Thanks Fairfield Inn.

Reasonably priced, clean, great location and terrific staff. Could drop them a 1/2 star for my mattress that sagged in the middle towards the side table, but having a pool, workout facility and free continental breakfast buffet, plus three types of coffee, lots of teas and juices for free 24 x 7 meant 5 stars works! Gosh, not to mention the starbucks, chic fil a, Japanese restaurant and more in the same parking lot… we'll be back.

We have stayed here many times in the past and for some reason quit staying here. We decided to stay here again Feb/2018. I remember now why we stopped making this hotel our vacation destination. The room was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom counter was screwed together and the room was extremely worn. Carpet torn and walls dirty. The bed needs to be thrown out and replaced. I don’t usually write terrible reviews, I usually just ignore the bad experience; however, we plan to make the Watauga County area our future residence and will be recommending hotels for guests and future business customers. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend your hotel. With the Marriott name attached to your company, I was very disappointed. Usually, our choices for Accommodations are split between 2 brands with Marriott being one of them. Unfortunately, this stay has changed our choices, at least in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. Good Day.

Fairfield was extremely clean, hot inside pool during the winter, and took my last minute reservation. I will stay again very soon while visiting my brother here.

Very nice place to come with family for a trip. Not even 5 minutes away from Tweetsie RR amusement park. Very nice free breakfast. This is the hotal you want to say in for the night.

Hotel was understaffed during our stay, however we would stay again if we had to. Air conditioner leaked water all over the carpet within 10 feet of it. We ended up moving to another hotel 1 hour away but much newer without the issues.

Very nice staff and good location to downtown Boone.

We had some issues at this hotel from our stay last weekend. After completing our survey, the general manager emailed us from his home that evening. We were pleased that he cared about the hotel guests and the Marriott standard enough that our issues called for his immediate attention. He worked hard to accommodate us and check with staff on the issues that were reported. Thanks for rekindling the respect for the Marriot brand Mr. Lamonds.

Clean and affordable. The rooms are a little outdated. Staff is friendly. Near lots of restaurants you can walk to. Lots of parking.

We spent the night the people were really nice the room was super clean the price was a little pricey we would gladly spend another night hopefully on a week day so we could use our military discount because they don't give them on weekends will recomendy to family and friends.

Best hotel in boone. Always stay here for the App games.

This hotel was pretty decent. It was a typical Fairfield with usual amenities. Location quite good, 20 minutes fro m Grandfather Mountain, and about 25 minutes to Sugar Mountain. There are a handful a good food locations close by, too.

It's a clean hotel convenient to APP State and all roads. Staff is nice.

Appalling customer service. My family reserved a king and a double room for a wedding. We were told upon arrival that there not only were there no double rooms available, nor an additional suite or king or queen room, but that we would nonetheless be charged for the incorrect king room. The hotel is otherwise basic and clean. Just be wary of traveling at a busy time of year.

Nice clean affordable hotel in Boone. Staff is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast as long as you don't mind the eggs being a bit runny (the one thing I can't do). Hot waffles, fresh fruit, quality yogurt and decent coffee (not Starbucks). The only thing is it's about time to remodel and refresh the rooms. Beds are comfortable and it's quiet every time I stay. Comfortable rooms, nice and helpful staff. Heater was broken in pool and had no cereal my kids would eat for breakfast (they were out of fruit loops…). If those are my biggest complaints from a hotel stay it was a good visit.

We stayed in room 308. It was clean and front desk staff was kind. The employees at breakfast were pleasant and worked hard to keep everything stocked on a busy Saturday morning. My only complaint is that the inside pool was freezing cold. I would recommend this hotel. Great price and location.

We Stay at Fairfield Inn at Boone once every year. Best place around clean, amazing staff and amazing breakfast.

Polite staff. Nice room. Lots of local options for food and shopping.

Late checking in but was greeted by a very polite and helpful young man. They had all of my requests as a Marriott Rewards member accounted for which is less common than you would think. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The mixing valves on the shower are set a bit cooler than I prefer however in our litigious society it is understandable.

Great staff, ckean, great location, pool is not our definition of heated.

The breakfast eggs actually tasted like real eggs instead of powdered eggs.

Night lobby "person" invited his friends over from the college or ski slopes to have a party in a room near the lobby. Called the lobby phone to ask to quite down at 3am, to hear it ring in the room next to me on his hip and him running and falling to address it. Heavy small of pot and alcohol. Terrible night with a meeting in 3 hours. Time to call the Boone police.

Without apprehension I would not only reccomend a stay here but will return myself. Oh, its a busy hotel but they do a good job of tending to the needs of its guests. I have average patience and am not easily impressed but the front desk was young but enthusiastic. Well done quality customer service.

Located downtown in Boone, NC near restaurants, gas stations and activities, Fairfield Suites is an ideal location for you to rest your head after a long travel. The concierge service was friendly and it offered a scanner and printer to complete business tasks and the lobby was large and adequate for the jobs you had. Walking into the rooms you will be enlightened with a great feel to the room. The colors were moderate and light toned and it really had a great schematic. It felt enlightening, when you walk into the bathroom you will see a large open space that is great. This hotel offered a larger than normal bathroom and that is always great. The beds were a bit small and not as comfortable as hotel beds I have been in before, but they were still warm and inviting. I would recommend this establishment to anyone traveling through Boone, especially if you are looking for a good breakfast in the morning when you wake up, it was very filling with a good variety of foods to choose from. Great place and wonderful experience.
