We only spent the night, it was very comfortable and had a great breakfast. Loved the hot tub.

Excellent location to downtown and the Biltmore. Homey feel, great decor and did not feel like you were staying at a hotel at all. One of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel with exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Amazing restaurant!

This staff is awesome! We had just pulled in after a 9 hour trip. My son had been having issues with his bumper, and when he turned it rubbed. It started as a small problem, but the longer we drove, it got worse. When we turned into the hotel, it sounded awful. Upon arriving and checking in, I asked where I could take it to get it fixed or if they had something heavy duty to cut off the thin plastic that was underneath to stop the rubbing issue. The hotel repairman came out to my sons car and fixed the bumper on BOTH SIDES (not even just the ones giving him the current issue). He told him what else he could do to fix it. He had literally attached it with screws and zip ties. My son tried to pay him, but he wouldn’t accept it.
This staff goes above and beyond. They could have easily just sent me down the road to find a garage…which is 100% acceptable. I am thankful that we chose to stay here and they were so wonderful! ❤️

Great place and great staff.

We had a wonderful hotel experience here. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was very helpful. We loved our room with its view of the pool and mountains. The restaurant was fantastic as well. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again in the future.

I rarely write reviews, but as an IHG members, who travels and stays with this enterprise frequently, and always have a consistently great and professional experience, however my most recent stay at the holiday inn Asheville west biltmore was an experience, no guest should experience, thanks to a level of bad customer service that left me feeling nothing shy of assaulted. We potentially wanted to stay an extra night and when we arrived at 2am in the morning, Jenna, on duty, assured us that we would be okay to extend our stay in the same room, at the same rate, as long as we mentioned this prior to checkout time. Following her instruction, and prior to checkout time, we spoke with Shantell, who by the way, started assisting another customer while holding my license, to where this gentlemen apologized on her behalf telling me he didn’t mean to cut me in line. It wouldn’t have been the worst thing, but when she did come back to assisting me, she told me that, Jenna misspoke and so NO we could not extend our stay in that room or honor the same rate, in fact she began raising her voice and berating me in front of other guests when I asked for the manager to help mediate a reasonable solution. Shantel was more focused on humiliating me and passing the buck to the 2am girl, Jenna, then help us find a hospitable resolution.

Clean rooms, excellent restaurant, friendly. We always stay here.

Large room very clean and the staff very friendly.

I actually have not stayed here. I live in town and came to Holiday in for a day long class. I was very surprised at how nice this Holiday Inn is. The pool area has many lounge chairs, a fire pit, and the most beautiful flowers and plants all around the area. The inside of the hotel has a very rustic and beautiful decor. Stone trim and Stone fireplaces in some areas. The grounds outside are just as beautifully manicured as the pool area. I will recommend Holiday Inn to my family and friends who come to visit. The location is perfectly out of the busy downtown area between Asheville and Black Mountain and mere minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The room was clean and looked nice. They have a great dog walking trail. The price was very reasonable. Front desk workers provided excellent customer service.

Beautiful warm, inviting hotel with a fabulous restaurant. We had the pleasure of dining in Woodfire tonight and what a fabulous restaurant. A must see!

Very clean hotel and great location. It also houses one of the best restaurants around, The Woodfire Bar and Grille. This place has the best Filet that I have ever eaten in my life, and that speaks volumes. Also, it has a great breakfast buffet with real eggs and bacon. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel and staff were great. My reason for 5 stars? They are truly a pet friendly hotel. No weight limit. No B. S. I travel for a living and no other hotel can touch that. This isn't true for every Holiday Inn though. One thing we didn’t care for was the video camera in the excercise room. It’s creepy and shouldn’t be there.

Updated, clean, modern… The front desk associates were great. The housekeeping was great. The bed was comfortable. The TV in the room was big. The Wi-Fi was reliable… Great hotel experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Got upgraded to a room with a view of the mountain. (Never hurts to ask) HUGE TV and the room was perfect. The grounds of the hotel are amazing with all different types of trees and beautiful wood carved things all over the place!

Nice hotel with a beautiful view of mountains. Rooms are spacious and modern. Staff is friendly. They have swimming pool which is nice but not very long. Gym is very small with one treadmill, one elliptical and a bunch of dumbells. Easy to get to downtown with lots of interesting restaurants and shops.

My husband and I spent last night at this beautiful, friendly Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore. We have stayed at many hotels and this is at the top of our list to recommend. The staff was amazing and helpful and our dinner and breakfast was very reasonable and delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the outside area is beautiful and well cared for. We highly recommend this hotel and will be back for sure!

Cool hotel here. It's pet-friendly and the landscaping is beautiful. They have a little trail through the woods in the back and a decent restaurant inside. The staff was very friendly, the room was well-kept, and our stay was very pleasant.

Love love love looooooved this place. I’m used to holiday inns being just an average run of the mill inn. No this holiday inn is SPECTACULAR. The rooms are clean with beautiful views, and I would HIGHLY recommend eating breakfast here and having the mini waffles, seriously the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life. Was more then worth the money I paid. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again! 10/10!

From the moment I arrived until the moment I left every employee was curtious and attentive. Room was clean and spacious with views of the mountains. I also enjoyed my morning coffee strolling along their peaceful adjacent nature trail. No complaints about the hot breakfast buffet, everything was delicious!

I had a laps in memory when reserving a couple of rooms for an upcoming soccer tournament. Holly was amazing at helping through my blunder, that didn’t actually turn out to be a blunder. She put up with my nonsense and made me feel better about wasting her time. She’s amazing! We have stayed here in the past and everything else is great too!

The staff was wonderful! Thomas at the front desk went out his way to show us around and accommodate our party. The rooms and lobby were very clean. Would recommend to friends visiting the area.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. Good restaurant. I don't particularly understand the Christian theme throughout the hotel, as well as being told that in the bar the only news channel they could play on the TVs was Fox News. Seems ridiculous for a national hotel chain to do something like that. I'm guessing the Franchise owners are highly conservative. Could have been a 5 star stay without that nonsense.

Wow. If all the Holiday Inns were as good as this one, my family would only stay at Holiday Inns. The staff are great, the food is good, rooms large and super super clean. They're dog friendly but there's none of that weird smell. Breakfast isn't free but it was substantial, for the price. Very centrally located, right off the big road but still quiet and calm. We didn't use all the facilities but there were plenty. Great lobby, gorgeous landscaping. Well worth the tariff.

The staff open the door on 3 times when I was in the room trying to sleep. And the manager did even come out of his off to say he was sorry. I did get a call from the manager and a wonderful dinner. The rest of my stay was great. I would gladly come again.

Great hotel with convenient access to I-40 and the Billy Graham training center at The Cove. Approximately 7-8 miles from the Biltmore Estate. Hotel has been recently renovated and has beautiful lobby and restaurant areas. Guest rooms are updated and nicely furnished. Be sure to check out the hotel restaurant — great food and good service. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel during our stay. Breakfast buffet is very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again. 3/7/18: Great hotel with a super friendly staff! Lots of electrical outlets and USB connections throughout the hotel but most especially the rooms. Love the decor… lots of detail. Fitness center has a nice selection of machines. Check out the restaurant too; good food reasonably priced. Shout out to Holly and Wes!

I could not ask for a nicer hotel. The price is remarkable it’s beautifully renovated. It is very stylish and up-to-date. All the employees have just been outstanding. Wes is fabulous at the desk Dave in maintenance, I think, is super sweet. Chef John in the restaurant is very talented… with a great personality. There were a few other employees that were great but unfortunately I don’t remember they names.

One of the nicest holiday inns that I have been to. Rustic feeling decor to the exterior and lobby which definitely suits the Asheville area. Pretty friendly and they even have two designated potty areas with bags and trash cans. One of the spots is a tiny hiking trail, which is adorable. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The rooms and beds are super comfy. And the staff is what makes this place special. They went above and beyond to assist people stranded from the icy roads by offering bread rolls, pillows, blankets, popcorn, and hot chocolate to everyone in the lobby. They even did card tricks for our daughter. It was heartwarming. We slept great for our 4-night stay and really enjoyed our experience!

Loved our experience at this Holiday Inn. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and beds, good food, and the location worked out great for us. Would definitely stay again if in the area and recommend it to others.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Rooms were great, restaurant was great but mostly the staff was very professional and friendly. They made us feel like we were spending Christmas at home. Great job.

By far the BEST Holiday Inn that we’ve stayed at. The staff is super friendly and the decor is awesome. I travel weekly for work and rarely stay at a hotel of this caliber for this price. Stay here, you’ll be glad you did.

Wonderful rooms, 10 minutes from downtown Asheville. Close enough to enjoy the sites, but far enough to avoid crowds when the day is done. I would recommend!

Loved our stay here. The hotel was immaculate — very clean. The staff were very accommodating especially with regard to our dog. They went searching for a dog bowl for him as we left ours somewhere along our travels. There was a big jar of dog treats at the front desk, which really impressed Toby! We will definitely return and try out some of their other locations.

The hotel was nice & clean but the people at the desk did not take care of us. We had booked through the Holiday Inn site & were supposed to get a discount because we were going to a conference at the Cove. We called early evening & gave them our names. We told them we were checking in late & the guy said "you are fine" but when we got there, they said our room was cancelled. Eventually, they gave us a room. When I went to check out, the woman at the front desk said we had gotten the room with breakfast. We didn't book the breakfast because we had paid for all our meals at the Cove. The people at the front desk are completely disorganized & do not do a good job. I will never, ever stay there again!

Staff was excellent. 16M renovations in 2017 make the Inn a great place to stay. Rooms are nice and roomy. Entire facility and outside trails were clean. Food was good.

Our stay was fine and the staff were courteous but they put 600.00 credit holding my account they should not have that appeared days after I left on my debt card. When I called them to explain the situation they told me it was up to me to call my bank and straighten it out. The room had already been paid for so there was no reason to put the hold on my account. They were very confused when I checked out so I am not surprised this happened but was very disappointed in the conversation when I called to let them know about it. Now I get to deal with my bank. Beware. Check your credit card after you leave.

Clean, modern, and brightly lit hotel. Guest services are comparable to the 4 & 5 ☆ hotels in the area without the 5 ☆ rate per night. Mountain view rooms available, and is certainly worth a few extra dollars for the breathtaking views of the Smokey Mountains. The restaurant is excellent, utilizing locally sourced grass fed beef during evening dining menu. The breakfast bar leaves a bit to be desired. The gravy on the breakfast bar tasted like flour mixed with tap water after being warmed in the microwave. The hotel is pet friendly, with a pet walking trail! We will definitely stay here again.

Came here for my aunts wedding and it was absolutely lovely! They have a little convenience section by the check in desk where you can get snack sized bags of chips, or any drinks, you can even get basic toiletries! Of course, they have a hospitality thing where if you forget a razor or toothbrush they'll give you one free of charge. They have a little restaurant as well where you can get breakfast (they have a breakfast buffet for $6.95 per person which I highly recommend because it is delicious, however they also have a breakfast menu you can choose from as well as Waffle House right literally right down the driveway) and dinner where the rolls are absolutely delicious and the entrees are amazing. The room was very clean with a smart TV (bigger than my own), very spacious, a heater/cooler control, the bathroom is spacious and you can even take a bath if you wish. If you're going to stay somewhere in Asheville for any event or just going sight seeing, I would definitely stay here! They have a nature trail and are pet friendly (which I never had a problem with). Would definitely stay here again!

Had to stay 3 nights due to a wedding and it's perfect location. Pet friendly Not sleep friendly. Hope Pet friiendly doesn't catch on. Staying here is a gamble 2 nights were fine one night a barking dog limited my sleep to less than 6 hrs. Also they charge $7 for standard Express breakfast and $2 more if you want orange juice. I'm rethinking my loyalty to Holiday Inn Express. But the one I stayed at on the way home was great, so for now I'll just avoid pet friendly. I love dogs but unless their's a way to keep one inconsiderate owner from ruining a nights sleep the motel flunks the most basic requirement.

Love this hotel. They recently renovated and it's even nicer than it was when I stayed there a year ago. The restaurant is really nice and has very good food. Would definitely stay here again and have actually recommended it to friends since staying there a year ago.

We have stayed here before. That is why we came back. The staff is fabulous.
No free breakfast but a nice restaurant, 6.99 breakfast buffet or a menu. Also open for dinner and has a full bar.

This was a pleasant surprise… the Hotel was clean, nice lobby, nice amenities, pleasant staff. And they allow dogs, and there is a dog walking path in the back. It was in a great location for our adventures. Definitely staying here again.

Clean room, nice staff, remote didn't work for TV but I guess I didn't have to be lazy and could get up to switch the channel if I wanted to. Elevator broke due to some kids messing with it and smelled like wet dog on the first floor as there were slot of visitors with dogs. Nice restaurant as Jeff was a great bartender. The cook did a great job on our appetizer we ordered. Overall, a nice stay.

Under construction. Pool is open and operational but I would not consider it done, missing grouting, skimmers not working. Newly renovated room already has mold on the ceiling, no vent in the bathroom and the tub had mold around it. It's not convenient to anywhere in Asheville. Plus sides were friendly and helpful staff.

Good hotel. In the middle of renovation. Lovely staff. I usually stay at the Asheville-Biltmore West Holiday Inn, glad to see this on is just as good.

Accolades to this wonderful place. It is more like a bed and breakfast due to the fabulous caring staff. The owner, Brian, went above and beyond the call of duty to see that my needs were met. Unexpected health care issue. Thank you all so very much.

The staff here was fantastic. As of the beginning of April 2016, they are in the process of renovations. They were not too far off from completing, but what they are doing really makes this place look great. Location is easy to get to Biltmore and downtown Asheville, but also far enough outside to be quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here, and will probably be staying here again next time I am in the area.

Hotel was lovely — beautifully decorated for fall. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Facilities and amenities were well maintained. The room was sufficient but not really on par with the lobby. It was clean and bedding was very comfortable and smelled very fresh. There were only two drawbacks for me, one minor — there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and after you showered it was like getting ready in a sauna. The major drawback and what would potentially keep me from staying here again was the overwhelming smell of carpet cleaner on our floor and particularly in our room. It was so strong my eyes and throat burned. I ran the fan all night and that helped but it still significantly affected my sinuses. We were only there one night to visit a relative in the hospital so it was not worth asking to change rooms — I noticed the smell as soon as the elevator opened on our floor. Other than that — nice stay and breakfast was terrific.

Hotel was very clean and. Loved the decor. Staff was friendly. Room was very nice and pet friendly. They have a really nice little nature trail in the back for walking you pets. We. Would stay there again!

This was an above average Holiday Inn and suited our needs perfectly for a trip the the Biltmore. The hotel is very conveniently located not only to the BIltmore but many restaurants, shops and attractions in the Asheville area, so we were able to explore without having to drive too far from our hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and courteous. Probably the only negative we could offer up was that the walls of the hotel were a little thin. The family staying next to us had a fussy child and we could hear him until around 11:30 or midnight. Not sure if he was sick or just grumpy but we were worried it might keep us up. Gladly though he finally settled down. This room did not have a refrigerator or a microwave, which for a one night stay is not really a big deal. If you will be there longer though, be aware. This hotel has a restaruant/bar right off the main reception area, which doubles as the location for the free breakfast. My wife is a waffle connoisseur and she reported that the waffle irons were top notch. Unlike most free breakfast bars, syrup wasn't provided in individual contatiners. It was instead in a metal serving pan, which wasn't labelled, so if you are having trouble finding that, ask one of the workers in the green shirts and they will point it out to you. My wife also wanted me to add that the quality of the syrup was just "OK" so if you are a connoisseur like her, you might want to "BYOS" (bring your own syrup. ) Lol.

Ask for a room on the north side of hotel unless you like listening to freight trains every 45 mins ALL NIGHT LONG! Wi-fi signal was very weak and over burdened afternoon and evening.

Very clean and comfy! Location is great, your in a peaceful area, also has a nice walking trial. Easy access to highway only a short drive to anywhere downtown. Breakfast was a nice surprise, big selection. Wonderful mountain views. All in all a nice and clean hotel. The restaurant / bar wasn't bad either.

What a relief to find a hotel where you can take your pups! We were very excited to be welcomed at the front desk with a dog treat for our puppy that we didn't want to leave at home. We had a bite to eat at the restaurant, friendly service. Breakfast is served complimentary and very good. Was disappointed that waitress didn't have change for us to leave her a tip the first day, but we compensated for it the next morning. It's not the Grand Bohemian, but it is a well-kept, comfortable night's rest, spacious room hotel and I would highly recommend the dog park that is less than a mile away if you do bring your pets. We will most likely be joining them again very soon. Delighted to walk the trails with our pet and sit on the swing enjoying nature and a little breath of fresh air. Thanks for a great experience.

This is an older Holiday Inn but kept very clean. Sheets and pillowcases were clean, soft and white! Very comfortable beds! I'm a big guy and the bed was soft but nice and firm! Plenty of large cushy pillows. Beware though of getting a room at the end of the building on the upper floors. The first room they put me in was the last room at the end of the hall and the water pressure was horrible and I mean like trickle style and it took forever to get hot! They were very kind and quick to move me just five rooms closer to the center of the same third floor and what a difference. Full pressure and very hot and I do mean very hot which I love! Be careful it does get really hot but it's easy to control. Better than most places I've stayed! Elevator is very quick up and down compared to most every 4 floor hotel I've stayed in. Breakfast was awesome. They serve it buffet style in the restaurant! Two types of scrambled eggs. One plain and one with spicy cheese and bacon over the top! Potato, biscuits and gravy! Small pancakes. Fresh fruits, bagels and bananas! Just a ton of stuff to choose from! The restaurant serves several local Beers from the area. Restaurant food was good. Fresh salad with chicken was really good and burgers were decent! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby is cozy with fireplace and custom made rockers that were wonderful. If they sold them I would have bought right then, lol. Can't say enough about this place.

Great Staff, Clean Rooms, and great overall environment.

Hotel and staff are great. The Owls restaurant inside has good food but is way to expensive, six bucks for a piece of pie.

The positives: the room was clean and the amentities were nice. The complimentary breakfast was also much nicer than most. I gave it three stars because once we arrived they had over booked the rooms and we were down graded the a smaller room because of it. That was a BIG negative in my opinion. Not only were we down graded we were not offered anything to compensate for it, no discount or extra anything. I also was really needing to iron something in the room and there was not ironing board. There was an iron but nothing to iron on except the floor.

I love this hotel! I wish I could stay here my entire stay while in Asheville. The rooms are very roomy, the bathroom is clean with a walk in shower. The view from my room is breathtaking even being on the first floor. A live band every fri, sat night and a friendly bar staff! This is the place to be.

STAY HERE! Dont' go to the Holiday Inn Express. The person at the Express messed up my reservation — sent me to wrong hotel. Lucky for me Brian was on desk at Biltmore East. He alerted Mark. I received 5 star service from them! The Holiday Inn Bilmore East was awesome! I highly recommend this hotel for service, style, and comfort. They care about making your stay a pleasant one! Stay Here! Thanks, Mark, for awesome service and taking care of the mess the other hotel made.
