Great Hospitality — perfect for a Windham Mountain stay.

Art & Jeanie are the genuine article and truly gracious hosts. My room was immaculately clean and a heavy snow fall didn’t stop Art from coming out to shovel a path for us. We returned the favor with some additional snow help in the morning and shared a small breakfast in their cozy little breakfast lounge. Staying here reminds me of a simpler time where stories and laughs are shared across generations. I can’t wait to get back to Windham and stay with my new friends. If you are visiting Windham or the surrounding towns in the Catskills, I would recommend staying a night or two at Cave Mountain!

It's conveniently located next to Windham Ski Resort and the little town of Windham. The scenery is stunning and picturesque. The rooms are exceptionally clean and very quaint. The offer a great continental breakfast. The prices are extremely reasonable and the owners Art & Jeanie take really good care of you and treat you like family whether it's your first visit or you've been coming there for over 20 years.

Quaint little place, far from home.

Art and Jean are wonderful host. Our unit was clean the beds were great we slept very well. The tranquility as well as the view of the mountain was stupendous. We will return for more R&R for sure…

This was a great place to stay on my first visit to the Catskills region of New York. A good place to sleep and refresh while hiking the Devil's pass hiking trail.

Such a cute place. It’s nice, quiet, and clean and with an amazing view. If I ever make my way up here again I will definitely stay here!

Pleasant stay, good location for short drive to attend event at Hunter Mt.

Rooms are very clean and nice. Owners are very welcoming. Room had everything you could need except a mini fridge so plan your trips into town accordingly.

This motel may not be the biggest of the swankiest but it is sure neat and clean. They offer a nice little continental breakfast in a small rustic dining area. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.

Lovely little family run motel.

My friend and I stayed at The Cave Mountain Motel this past weekend, while attending The Taste Of Country Festival at Hunter Mountain, this was our second year attending the festival and staying at the motel. The owners are VERY accommodating, we asked for extra towels and got them. They are VERY friendly and will sit and talk with you. And they asked how my friend and I were enjoying the festival. And when we checked out this morning we told them we would be back next year and even asked for the same room, Jean told us just to call and remind her. Which we definitely do! My friend and I love how quiet and peaceful the motel is. Thank You!

I stay at Cave Mountain Motel every year at the end of summer while my family camps on a nearby mountain. With the central location to everything in the area it is great for me. The owners are very friendly and my room is always clean and neat. I like that I can wake up and there is coffee and a continental breakfast in the Ski kitchen. I never have a problem with reservations. I have other family members that also reserve rooms.

The owners of this small motel are WONDERFUL! They run a tight ship & keep an spotless property! Our room has older wood paneling & a bathroom sink & toilet from the 60's however it is CRYSTAL CLEAR that you have both worked very hard to keep your property in tip top condition!
