Walked in just to check the place out & was very impressed with the main lobby area. There was a nice big room area with a fireplace that is nice for events & even just to chill. Although I didn't order anything the restaurant/bar was also nice looking.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Nice private setting. Awesome customer service and friendly staff. Beautiful venue for special occasions. Rooms are your typical hotel suites and very clean. Lounges and bars have great food and great variety. Location is off the main roads making it nice to pull in to especially after a long drive and there is plenty of parking. Overall a great experience.

This Hilton property could be best described as modern palatial. The restaurant, hotel and meeting rooms are all top-notch. The location is perfectly suited for visitors to the New York metropolitan area and the staff are completely professional and very knowledgeable. The beds were very comfortable the room was clean, modern and a pleasure to stay in. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning in the future. I was looking forward to trying the pool out but unfortunately that the time it was closed for Servicing. Enjoy!

The brunch buffet at the Hilton garden inn was fine. We were there for a post wedding brunch along with three other parties and the staff handled all of us well. I got everything I asked for quickly. The food was okay. It has everything you expect from a buffet, and it was all fresh. Just make sure set your expectations accordingly.

Stayed here for a wedding. For the rehearsal dinner, the restaurant got my order wrong, and then when they brought out the correct dish, the chicken was raw. The management staff and the waitress were very apologetic and offered to get me something else but I declined. The bathroom in our room was grungy and smelled. Housekeeping never came back to our room after we took the do not disturb sign away so we had to find one of the girls working in the hallway and get some more towels since no one picked up the housekeeping phone. We also requested assistance for our thermostat unit, after we called the front desk, they stated someone would come up but they never did. Very surprised that all of this happened since the reviews for this place are great. Disappointed.

Perhaps Staten Island's finest hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn is professionally run and well maintained. Excellent food is served at functions hosted in their ballroom. Off the beaten path, it requires a car or public transit to get anywhere else. Excellent service is provided to the hotel by Clove Lake Car Service.

I left my room at 8:30 this morning. I returned at 10:30 pm and the room was not cleaned. I asked at the front desk and was told the room was on the do not clean list. I didn’t ask for that and there was no do not disturb sign on the door. If there were any options on Staten Island for non hooker or homeless hotels I would never stay here again. Even the least expensive highway motels provide this basic service without issues.

For q has a lot of lounges where you can make parties.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Checking in/out was smooth and quick. Staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Everything was fresh from the bedding to the bath towels. Parking was free and easy. The only issue my family and I had was that the beds were very hard, the pillows were way too thin and the bedding was stiff and hard. We all had an uncomfortable nights sleep…

Good hotel to be near new york city and not pay parking. Heated swimming pool is only open from 5 to 10 in the night. Transfers to manhattan's better to go free on the ferry that leaves from this island to the station in manhattan then there move in the metro subway.

At hotel for Valentine's Day weekend getaway package. I'm a native Staten Islander and this property makes you feel like you're "really away from home, " although you're right in your own backyard. Property owners are very visible but you wouldn't know who they are if you didn't already know them. Very nice couple. They are very hospitable and gracious toward their guests.

I attended a dinner function and did not stay overnight at the Hilton garden inn. Yet I would be remiss not acknowledging good attributes. The Hinton is right off the highway. The lobby is lighted and feels alive. The restrooms were very clean. The ballroom were the function was held was spacious and well decorated and he waiting staff was friendly and concerned.

Was there with a big group so service was pretty well done. They were very organized and my room was clean and spacious. Location is a little out of the way but not too bad if you're not there for long.

Amazing place! I come here on a regular basis for work reasons, everything is always very neat and clean. I have also met the owner's, they ask me about my experience and seem genuinely concern about it. I would definitely recommend it, especially for weddings and events. The facilities are exceptional.

The shower was an issue in our room, housekeeping kept coming in our room while we slept. She was very pushy! Other than that we enjoyed our stay… The Italian female at the front desk was very welcoming with a great personality!

They're remodeling. Very noisy at times. Rooms are spacious and clean. Morning staff is better and helpful than afternoon staff. Housekeeping rushed us out of our room and I still had a hr. Before checkout. Good location overall. They need to work on Customer Service.

A wonderful place for dinner and family events. The owners Mr and Mrs Nicotra are warm and friendly people. The service, staff and food are excellent. Besides having dinner one can have business meetings and office holiday party's there. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. The rates are quite reasonable. Parking lot is on site is free and huge. 5 star rating in my opinion.

Digital check in was convenient and keyless entry was nice. Nice ballrooms and restaurant and big lounge. Room was comfy and clean.

I was here for a wedding and I was very impressed! This is a beautiful, modern venue with a great penthouse, including outdoor firepits for cozy seating on cold nights. The food was inventive, varied, and abundant during the cocktail hour and there was ample and friendly wait staff. Downstairs for the main dinner, the party was consistently great, including food, service, and atmosphere. Host an event here or get invited to one soon. Or just crash the next one!

Booked a room at this hotel because we wanted a nice place to stay that would be relatively close to the start of the New York Marathon. This was a perfect choice! The price was right — especially when booked ahead of time. The service was great, as was the breakfast we enjoyed the day before — and the celebratory dinner afterwards. We didn't know when we booked that the hotel would be offering shuttles to the start. That was a great bonus! For going into Lower Manhattan, we used the St. George Ferry, about 20-25 mins from the hotel. The drive was easy and the ferry is free — $8 for all day parking. Wow! We highly recommend this hotel!

Hilton garden hosted a recent awards dinner given by my employer not tell health and everything was superb. Every detail was fantastic the staff was amazing kudos to all I would recommend it for any function. I left there with satisfaction beyond belief. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

Stayed here the night before my friend’s wedding. Staff was extremely accommodating. Jamel in particular went above and beyond to make our stay as incredible as it was.

Our stay has been great. The staff is wonderful. Especially Jacqueline. The only downfall was the food at the restaurant.

Very nice large room, but the beds are only double beds. They have King beds but only 1 in a room as a room option. Breakfast buffet is nice, with very attentive staff. Front desk was willing to accommodate our request to receive wedding flowers and then allow another person to pick them up. Strange smell in the hallway toward the elevators would make me think hard about whether I wanted to have an event here. Kind of mildewy.

Samantha at the front desk was in a word, AMAZING! I wasted about an hour on hold checking the status of my rooms and as soon as she got on the phone she did everything in her power to make it right! She even gave her pin on her lapel to my mom who was admiring it. She was amazing and made my stay at the Hilton a great one! The breakfast was also amazing. Just a side note, do not book the 6th floor if you can't handle noise when thr rooftop club is in full swing. Luckily we didn't mind but had to move my mom down a floor which Craig at the front desk so kindly did for us!

Check-in was quick and easy, even though I was early Room was clean and as described. They don't have room service for breakfast even though they have a "Bed 'N Breakfast" package (it's AND not IN). Our wedding group was also promised the bar would be open after the wedding which it wasn't.

Hotel itself is nice. A little dated. Food for breakfast is ok but far from great. Table we sat at had a very moldy smell. I told the waitress who said she was aware of it and came back with a spray bottle of disinfectant and sprayed the carpet under our table as we were eating. At that point, we left.

Been here for a couple of occasions and was pleased with the service. The food is good. They give you nice size portions. The employees are very professional and friendly. They have valet parking for your convenience. The Hilton is clean and beautifully decorated.

My wife booked the bridal suite for our daughters wedding night days in advance. She paid for it with a credit card. My wife was assured that all my daughter needed to do was show up. Upon my daughters arrival after her wedding, she was refused entry by the night clerk because they couldn't "verify" any info since my daughter wasn't the one paying. It was two o'clock in the morning and the hotel turned them away. I will never utilize this hotel again, and I will convince my friends and family to take their business elsewhere.

I travel for business on a regular basis and I've always had great experiences with Hilton Garden Inns. However my experience from start to finish with this hotel was not satisfactory. I called in the morning on the day I was scheduled to arrive to reserve the airport shuttle from Newark. When I called I was told to just go to the shuttle pickup location at P4 and the shuttle would pick me up from there. I asked if they needed my name and flight arrival and I was told no. When I landed I went to the location and after waiting for 30 minutes without seeing a shuttle I contacted the hotel. At that time I was told that I did in a reservation. So they took down my name and said a shuttle would arrived 30 minutes later. The hotel caters to many weddings and other events and both nights there were a lot of noise in my room due to these events making it hard to go to sleep. I would not recommend this to a business traveler at the end of a week or weekend. The hotel is filled to the max due to all the hwedding and events and is very loud. The evening before my departure I called the front desk to request the shuttle to the airport. I was told it was completely booked up until the afternoon at 1:30 and that I would have to get a cab to go to the airport. I also inquired about taking the shuttle to the Staten Island Ferry, and was told the only shuttle going to the ferry was at 7 a. M.

They put on a very nice affair. Good food good service. Overall a very good experience.

The hotel was very clean and the staff there were very helpful and courteous. The Wisteria meeting room was perfect for our office's retreat. Highly recommend their meeting spaces for off-site meetings, retreats, etc.

Attended an event at the catering hall. The salad tasted like salt. The braided short rib with wine reduction was a decent cut of meat with no flavor. I wonder if the chef even tasted any of the food leaving his kitchen.

I just spoke to the manager and Mr. Sanchez has assured me things being done to rectify the situation. We are being given a full refund, and were offered a free stay/dinner. He said they are training the staff to ensure this never happens to anyone else. I am really happy someone took the time to speak to me personally. It meant a lot, because it goes to show you that Hilton's guests are not just faceless dollar signs. Weddings are their business, and they care about their business and they care whether you have a good experience or not. For most people, your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and I can't thank Mr. Sanchez enough for turning this situation around and leaving us with a better impression. This was the original review, and I'm sorry I was so mad when I wrote it: We had 14 rooms in a block at Hilton Garden Inn and only half of the guests got their welcome bag. Where they put the others? I don't know. It's really awful to spend so much time on something only to find out your guests never got them. No explanation. We had our luggage checked at the front desk to hold for us after the ceremony and they said they would bring it up to our rooms — they didn't. We had to go to our room only to find it wasn't there and go back downstairs. The front desk harassed me for a credit card while I was standing in my wedding dress to check in — meanwhile, they already had a card on file.

Everything was really great. Dinner and a show. Only complaint was they didn't plow their parking lot the morning of a snow storm and it was a bit of a pain to get out in time for check out.

Rat Pack at the Hilton was good although last year was better. They gotta get the old Marilyn Manson back! Staff were great, and the food at Alfonzo's was good too. They just need to keep that upscale atmosphere in their menu. As a designer I can tell they simply photocopied each size of their menu and printed it out double sided. Parts were cut off and the page was not centered on either side. As an upscale classy place I expect the menus to be better designed and not photocopied. The room was a very nice size, pillows were super comfortable. More than enough room and great lighting from the windows. Unfortunately there was a little mold where the tub and tiles meet and a folded over piece of duct tape wedged behind the photo frame in the bathroom. Simple things like this can be fixed up in a better way. All-in-all I had a great time, good food and a comfortable room to sleep in.

Is just a wonderful place to stay. The restaurant called lorenzos is excellent. The owners are just terrific. The staff is wonderful. It's 5 stars all around.

I did not stay at the hotel. I was taking a survey that gave me money. I apologize to anyone that is looking for a serious review. Hiltons have not been a bad franchise. I have not been to this particular one but the one in philadelphia is nice.

The rooms are nice and the beds were very comfortable. The lobby was very nice as well but it was always very busy. My stay here went well and the service was OK. I have a family of four and there weren't enough towels for us all. I called guest services to ask for more and they didn't show up for an hour (until we had to call again. ) I was under the impression when booking this room that there was a free shuttle service to and from the ferry running all the time. Turns out that you have to schedule this shuttle and it was rarely available during my stay, but I was staying on what seemed to be a busy weekend, so ir may not always be like that. Housekeeping did a fantastic job cleaning up and every member of the staff I have encountered was very courteous.
